01x02 - Ravenclaw v Slytherin

Post by bunniefuu »

Yes, this is the night
you've been waiting for.

A brave young wizard,
a smart English dame,

and a TV event series
with more wizarding world trivia

than you could squeeze under the stairs.

And you're invited.

In fact, you're playing.

This is Harry Potter:
Hogwarts Tournament of Houses.

Well, hello. I'm Helen Mirren

and I have the absolute
pleasure and privilege

of being your host
for this rather magical event.

Tonight's matchup is critical because
whoever is victorious in this game

goes straight through to the final.

Going head-to-head this evening,
we have a clash of wit versus cunning,

wisdom versus ambition.

It's Team Ravenclaw
versus Team Slytherin.

First, we need to choose the six players
who will represent tonight's two houses

and we're going to do that,
well, how else could we possibly do it?

One,

two, three,

four, five.

So, we begin with Team Ravenclaw.

Vincent.

Yeah!

Louise.

Annie.

And now, to find out
who will be representing Slytherin.

Giulia.

Michelle.

Ryan.

Oh, my God.

Players, you know what to do.

Ravenclaw! Ravenclaw!

Slytherin! Slytherin! Slytherin!

Welcome, everyone.
Ravenclaw versus Slytherin.

Brain power versus the lust for power.
This should be fun.

Given that this is the twentieth
anniversary of the first film,

- I'm curious. Giulia.
- Hi.

Do you remember where you
were when that first film came out?

So, I was five-years-old,
it was me and my mom,

we went to go see the first movie,
and then it took off from there.

She bought the books
and read them to me every night.

So, how many times have you seen it?

Oh, God, probably
over a hundred and fifty.

- No. A hundred and fifty... No.
- Oh, yeah, easily. Easily.

Well, you're going to be quite
a contestant, I can see that.

My goodness me.

- So, Louise, welcome.
- Yes. Thank you so much.

Where are you from?

I live in Houston,
but I'm originally from Scotland.

You're Scottish? Really? So, do you feel
a connection with the stories?

- Well, Hogwarts is famously in Scotland.
- Yes. Right.

- So, it was like a connection to home.
- Home from home, yes.

Tell us how much you love these books.

Oh, I grew up with them,
so I was eleven when Harry was eleven.

I graduated high school
when Harry left to school.

So, you have an absolute parallel life
to Harry's life in sense?

- Yes. Yes.
- Fantastic.

Well, I wish you the best
of luck Slytherin.

- Thank you.
- And Ravenclaw.

Thank you.

And all the Ravenclaws and Slytherins

sitting out there behind you are going
to be getting in on our game too,

scoring points for their houses
in every round.

So, the best of luck to you
two houses, too.

So, let's begin at the beginning
with round one.

"The World of Harry Potter."

In this first round,
we're going to show each house

a moment from one of the eight
Harry Potter films.

After watching, you'll work as a team
to answer questions about that film.

- Team Ravenclaw, you're up first.
- It's us. It's us. All right. Whoo!

- Yeah, we're gonna this right, right?
- Yes, yes.

Let's find out which film
you'll be revisiting.

Your scene is from
The Deathly Hallows, Part Two.

The first question will be about
something you're going to see.

Watch closely.

Piertotum Locomotor.

Hogwarts is threatened.
Man the boundaries. Protect us.

Do your duty to our school.

I've always wanted to use that spell.

In total, how many stone guards
did we actually see crash to the ground?

Okay. I think they, kind of,
came down in a triangle formation.

- In a formation. Yeah.
- Yeah. That's so true.

- I think it's three.
- So, I think three.

- We have our answer?
- The answer is three.

For ten points.

- Three. Yeah!
- Congratulations.

Congratulations, Ravenclaw.

So, Vincent, what brought you
to Harry Potter?

Well, um, growing up,
I grew up in the Philippines, actually.

So, half of the time, we don't have
electricity because of typhoons,

and when I saw the commercial
to Harry Potter, I'm like,

"Mom, can you buy us
some tickets for the movie?"

"Um, unfortunately, my boy,
we can't afford it."

- Yeah.
- "But here are the books."

And now, even if I don't have any cable,
I have Hogwarts to escape to.

- So, thank you so much.
- That's the magic of a book, isn't it?

- Yeah. Yeah.
- Yes. Very good.

Well, are you ready for question two?

Born ready.

This question is related to
the Deathly Hallows, Part Two

and the question is,

"Professor McGonagall
had vowed to secure the castle

in order to buy Harry time
to find what item?

A, Helga Hufflepuff's cup,

B, Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem,

C, Salazar Slytherin's locket,

or D, Arthur Weasley's car keys?"

Well, I think we can take D off.

Yeah. And the cup, they get in the,
in Bellatrix Lestrange's vault.

So, that would not be
what he was looking for.

We can also eliminate the locket.

They found that in Half-Blood Prince.

Well, kind of.
So, we're gonna go with B.

So, for twenty points,
let's see if you're right.

- You are correct.
- Yeah.

Well done.

Twenty points and you work
that out beautifully

between the three of you. Well done.

For this question, we're opening
things up to your entire house.

This last question
is worth thirty points.

If the top answer amongst
all of them is the right one,

those thirty points
will be added to your team's score.

And here's the question,

"joining forces with Professor
McGonagall to protect Hogwarts,

Professor Flitwick, Professor Slughorn,

and Molly Weasley were seen
casting shielding spells into the sky.

Which of these was not
one of the spells they used?

A, Potego Maxima,

B, Repello Inimicum,

C, Armoro Invulnera,

or D, Fianto Duri?"

The votes are in
and the top answer was "C."

- You've added thirty points.
- Thank you so much. Let's keep that up.

Well done.
We are just getting started here.

Lots more of our Harry Potter:
Hogwarts Tournament of Houses

after this.

Welcome back to Harry Potter:
Hogwarts Tournament of Houses.

And this is The World
of Harry Potter round.

Ravenclaw have already played
and scored sixty points.

And now, Slytherin, it's your turn
to rack up some points.

Let's find out which film
you'll be dealing with.

The Chamber of Secrets.

Remember,
everybody including you at home,

the first question is about something
you will see, so really pay attention.

Are you going somewhere?

Uh, well, yes, um, urgent call,
unavoidable. Uh, gotta go.

What about my sister?

Well, um, as to that most unfortunate.
No one regrets more than I.

You're the Defense Against
the Dark Arts, teacher.

You can't go now.

Well, I must say, when I took the job,

there was nothing
in the job description about...

You're running away? After all
that stuff you did in your books?

- Books can be misleading.
- You wrote them.

My dear boy, do use your common sense?

My books wouldn't have sold half as well

if people didn't think
I'd done all those things.

You're a fraud.

What did we see Professor Lockhart
put in his bag?

- He's very vain and he loves his hair.
- Yes.

Which I thought was his own
until this clip,

when we saw him put a wig into the bag.

- I agree. Let's go wig.
- Let's see if you're right.

You can't go now.

Well, I must say, when I took the job,

there was nothing
in the job description...

Ten points to Slytherin. Very good.

So, Michelle, you look like
a very sweet person.

So, what brings you to Slytherin
in particular?

So Slytherin house was for me
a little aspirational as a kid

because I saw all of these
Slytherin characters with,

like, their dark, mystique,
and their power and they...

They're kinda cool, aren't they?

And then, in the movies,
they have fabulous hair and...

- Yeah.
- So, now we're here.

Very good. And now,
here's question two for twenty points.

"The first time we met famed author
Gilderoy Lockhart,

he was doing a book signing
at which shop in Diagon Alley?

A, The Magic Quill, B, Obscurus Books,

C, Flourish and Blotts,

or D, Filch's Fish and Chips."

We know that Gilderoy Lockhart's books
are bestsellers,

so they wouldn't be that obscure.
So, I think we can rule out B.

Yeah. Flourish and Blotts
is definitely the place to go.

- C. Flourish and Blotts.
- So, let's see if you're right.

You are correct.
It was Flourish and Blotts.

Another twenty points for Slytherin.

And now, this third question
is just for all of you up there

in the Slytherin house seats.

"In his class, Lockhart quizzed
his students on how well they knew him.

In the book, The Chamber of Secrets,

which was not one of the things
he asked them about?

A, his favorite food.

B, his favorite color.

C, his greatest achievement.

Or D, his ideal birthday gift?"

The votes are in
and their top answer was A.

Correct.

- Yeah.
- Very good.

Excellent. So, an extra thirty points.

Over to our resident scorekeeper,
Luke Youngblood.

Both Ravenclaw and Slytherin
are at sixty points!

Now, it's time for round two,

where our team's fire up
questions at each other

and score points by proving
they know everything there

is to know about their own house,

and we call this, The Dueling Club.

Now, the questions are now worth ten,
thirty, and fifty points,

and you're going to alternate

in aiming each question
at a single player on the other team.

As you might guess, the fifty
point question is the toughest.

So, you might want to make who you think
is your opponent's strongest player

answer the ten point question

and force the others
to handle the harder ones.

Your houses will be playing
along with each question,

so they can potentially
add points to your score.

Now, Slytherin,
the first question about Ravenclaw

is worth ten points.

Slytherin, who do you want to fire
your question at and why?

What are you thinking?

Louise might be
our toughest competition.

I will agree with that.

You're going to fire your question
at Louise.

So, the first ten point
Dueling Club question goes to Louise.

Here's your question.

"Rowena Ravenclaw's famous Diadem

was said to bestow wisdom
upon those who wore it.

It was stolen by her daughter,

who had become the ghost
of Ravenclaw Tower.

What was she called?

Was it, A, The Grey Lady,

B, Haunting Hannah.

C, Moaning Myrtle.

Or D, Nearly Noseless Norma?"

Well, B, C, and D very funny answers.

She is in fact, the Grey Lady. Answer A.

Oh, very confident there.

So, you should be because,
of course, you're correct.

Well done, Louise.

Yeah.

Let's see how your housemates did.

Another ten points.

No mistakes, definitely.

Now, this question is about Slytherin
and it's worth ten points.

I personally think
we should go with Ryan.

I agree.

He might know a lot
about the characters.

Let's go with Ryan.

So, Ryan, what's the craziest thing
you've done in your pursuit

of your Harry Potter knowledge,
would you say?

I used to dress up as Albus Dumbledore

and I went to the YMCA,
did squats in my full beard.

If you look to your left,
there is Dumbledore's real hat.

And you know what I'm going to do?

You don't understand
what this means to me.

The security guards, are gonna come
and arrest you if you walk off with it.

- But look, you see. That's the real hat.
- It's so warm.

So, Slytherin's ten-point Dueling Club
question goes to Ryan.

"The lives of wizarding family members
can take very different paths.

Slytherin's Bellatrix Lestrange,
servant to her Dark Lord,

was of what relation
to Voldemort adversary, Sirius Black?

A, a cousin.

B, a niece. C, a sister.

Or D, an identical twin?"

I do not believe it is C or D.

Um, they're roughly the same age,

so I'm gonna go with
fiercely competitive cousins.

And you are correct. Well done.

So, that's ten points.

Let's see how your housemates did.

Another ten points.

All right. Now, it's your turn again.

Who do you want to answer
this thirty point question and why?

Annie said that
she was intimidated by me.

I'm not so intimidated by her.

Maybe, this is the best slot
for our friend, Annie.

I'm cool with that.

- Now, Annie.
- Yes.

You love Harry Potter. How much
does it mean to you, do you think?

Harry Potter was the first story
I fell in love with,

because it taught me the power
that a good story can have

and, you know, growing up as,
like, a little gay kid in suburbia,

it really has, like,
influenced my values,

and a good story can change the world

and I really do believe
that Harry Potter has.

Fabulous.

So, Annie, for thirty points,

"in the Order of the Phoenix,
power-mad, Dolores Umbridge,

fired Ravenclaw Professor,
Sybill Trelawney.

As Trelawney tearfully told Umbridge,

she'd taught at Hogwarts for how long?

A, ten years.

B, sixteen years.

C, twenty-two years,

or D, twenty-five years."

So, I know that Dumbledore hired her

after she made the prophecy,
when Harry was about a year old,

and this would be in the fifth movie,
so he would be about sixteen-years-old.

So, I think, it's B, sixteen years.

- Yes.
- Absolutely right.

- Well done.
- That was a tough one. Yeah!

And you won thirty points for your team.

Let's see if your housemates
can add another thirty.

Another thirty points.

So, now, this question about Slytherin
is worth thirty points.

Since they're doing strategy,
we will, too.

I think Giulia gives me
more Slytherin vibes.

And maybe Michelle's
a bit of a nice girl.

So, should we go with Giulia? Yeah.
Let's do it. We're gonna go with Giulia.

Bring it on.

- Ready, Giulia?
- Let's do it.

"Slytherin, Lucius Malfoy,

was forced to give his wand to Voldemort

at the beginning of the Deathly Hallows,
Part One.

As noted by the Dark Lord,
the wand was made from which wood?

A, elm. B, cedar.

C, hawthorn. Or D, walnut?"

The word Hawthorn is giving me,
like, a fancy vibe

and he's, kind of, a fancy guy, so

I'm gonna go with my gut
and I think it's C, hawthorn.

Unfortunately, Giulia,
that's not the right answer.

The right answer is A. Elm.

- All right.
- It's okay.

But let's see...
Let's see how your housemates did.

You got back up here, remember?

And the housemates
were wrong as well.

- It's all right. It's all right.
- Good try.

Now, we're going to take a quick break,
but when we come back,

we've got not one,
but two treats for you.

Because asking those critical
fifty Point Dueling Club questions

will be actual
Harry Potter cast members.

This is Harry Potter:
Hogwarts Tournament of Houses.

Welcome back to Harry Potter:
Hogwarts Tournament of Houses.

Okay, back to the competition
with our Dueling Club round.

We've only got two more questions to go.

There's only one Ravenclaw player who
hasn't played this round yet, Vincent.

And who better to pose that question

than one of Ravenclaws most
recognizable house alumnis.

Please! welcome the talented actor
who provided comic relief

from beyond the grave
as Ravenclaw's Moaning Myrtle,

Shirley Henderson.

What?

Hello, Helen, and hello, Ravenclaws.

I'm really rooting for you
to win this tournament

and I am so thrilled to be a part of it.

Oh, lovely, lovely to see you, Shirley.

When you think of Ravenclaws you think
of wisdom and a love of learning,

and that intelligence is going
to come in handy for this question.

Ravenclaws are smart and Harry was
attracted to the intelligent Cho Chang.

The first time he saw her
in the Goblet of Fire film,

what was she ordering
from the Trolley Witch?

A, Chocolate Frogs, B, Cauldron Cakes,

C, Licorice Wands,

D, Pumpkin Pasties.

Okay. So, do you have an answer for us?

One of the flavors associated with
fall is pumpkin

and that's why when I saw this scene,
I would order the same thing.

So, my order would be
Pumpkin Pasties.

Let's see if you're right.

The answer is D, Pumpkin Pasties.

- Yay, you're right!
- Nice job!

Well done, Vincent.
You just scored fifty points.

Let's see how your housemates did.

The housemates did.
House also got it right.

So, another fifty points for Ravenclaw.

- Well done, Ravenclaw.
- Yeah!

All right. Slytherin, your fifty points
Dueling Club question goes to Michelle.

He played for slick, bad Slytherin
bully Harry Potter fans love to hate.

Please welcome the fine actor,
Tom Felton.

Hello, Dame Helen and hello, Slytherins.

I know you're going to represent
the house with honor in this tournament

and you are already doing fabulous.

We've got this.

Now, Slytherins are famous
for being shrewd and hopefully,

that will help you
answer this next question.

In the Half-Blood Prince film,
former Slytherin Horace Slughorn

agreed to return to Hogwarts

only if he could upgrade
to which former professor's office?

A, Merrymount, B, Merryfelt,

C, Merrythought or D, Merryvale.

Michelle, what's your answer?

So, this professor gets mentioned by
the man formerly known as Tom Riddle,

who asks if it's true that
Professor Merrythought is retiring.

So, my answer is C,
Professor Galatea Merrythought.

Let's see if you're accurate.

The answer is C,
of course, Merrythought.

Yes!

Congratulations. You just added
fifty points to your score.

Now, let's see how
your fellow Slytherins did.

They also got it right.

So, another fifty points. Excellent.

So, let's go to Luke
for our end of round score.

We have Slytherin who have secured
one hundred and eighty points.

Very good, Slytherin.

But Ravenclaw who have not
put a single foot wrong all night

are sitting at two hundred
and forty points!

Yes!

That brings us to round three,

which means it's time now
for our teams to enter the illustrious

Department of Magical Games.

We're about to reveal the name
of several magical charms

on our portrait wall.

Each of them representing
a different game.

You're going to take turns
to pick a game to play.

Each question is now worth fifty points,
but there is a twist,

if you get a question wrong now,

the other team gets a chance to steal
and earn themselves thirty points.

So, those scores,
they could change just like that.

One final thing,
each game in this round

is related to this evening's theme

and that theme is...

"Dumbledore."

Okay. That is his hat on my head, so...

So, ready. Ravenclaw, you're
in the lead, so you get to play first.

Which game would you like
to start off with?

- Obscuro, please.
- Very good.

Obscuro is a charm that
can be used to conjure a blindfold

over someone's eyes.

So, this game is about
what you can hear, but you cannot see.

Ah, interesting.

Now, listen, listen carefully.

For fifty points,
where was Dumbledore in that scene.

Does it sound like a, a fight scene
or action scene to you, guys?

No. I think it's...
I think it's the cave, right?

With his finding the locket, and
he's doing the thing with the Inferi.

- And he's like...
- The fire.

Yeah. We are going to say
we think it's the cave

where they found the locket Horcrux.

Now, let's see if you're right.

- Yep.
- Yes. Oh, my God.

That's right for fifty points.

Well done, Ravenclaw.

Okay. Slytherin, it's your
turn.

Well, I know Accio
is the summoning charm

and I really wanna summon us
some points.

Yeah. I agree with that.

Good. Accio is the charm used
to summon an object towards you.

For tonight, we've summoned
an actual genuine prop

from one of the films
to be here with us.

In keeping with our theme of Dumbledore,
we've recreated Dumbledore's office.

Here it is.

But only one of the objects before
you is the actual prop from the films.

Which of these objects is the real prop?

Have a good look all around,

but you're not allowed
to slip anything into your pocket.

It would probably something that's
sort of identifiable with Dumbledore.

What about that, like, dagger thing? No?

I don't remember seeing a letter opener.

No. I'm thinking the chair
based on the wear and tear on it.

I don't know, though.

This is hard.

- They all look so good, don't they?
- Yeah.

You've had a good look.
What are you thinking?

Uh, something about the chair
is speaking to me.

The chair had a good amount of wear
and tear on it like you pointing out.

That's what the first thing
I noticed was the back of the chair

had a bunch of bumps,
and scratches, and stuff.

- Let's go with the chair.
- Okay, Slytherin. Good.

Now, Ravenclaw,
what do you think, actually?

The thing that my eyes
are immediately drawn to

is, like, this model
of the astronomy tower.

Yeah, I feel like I remember that.
I also remember the arrow thing.

But, I, I don't think that was
in Dumbledore's office, was it?

No, I don't think that was
in Dumbledore's office.

So, do we wanna go with
the model of the tower?

- Yeah. Sure.
- Let's see who's right.

Maybe a year.

Don't ignore me, Severus.

There's the tower.

Ravenclaw, you just made a steal.

- Good for you.
- Wow. Good job.

So, we'll continue with our epic
house battle after a quick break.

When we come back,

I'll be introducing you to a very
special celebrity Harry Potter fan.

Back in two shakes of a lamb's tail.

Welcome back to Harry Potter:
Hogwarts Tournament of Houses.

Well, we're in the middle of
a thrilling matchup

between the eagle and the serpent...

Otherwise known as
Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

There's a hundred and forty points
between the two houses.

Now, Michelle, are you happy
with your performance to this point?

I think even though
we're not in the lead right now,

that doesn't mean we're not
gonna be in the lead soon.

You're absolutely right.

- I don't believe...
- Not on our watch.

Yeah. Not on our watch.

Right now, we're taking a tour through
The Department of Magical Games.

There are two games left
for our teams to play.

After that, our houses will have
a chance to add to their team score

in The Last Word.

Now, Ravenclaw,
which one would you like?

- My eye keeps going to Revelio.
- I was thinking that too.

Let's go with our guts. Revelio.

Revelio is, of course,
a charm use to reveal hidden objects.

In this game,
you're going to have to Revelio.

Tell me what happens next.

Dawlish, Shacklebolt,
you will escort Dumbledore

to Azkaban to await trial for conspiracy

and sedition...

I thought we might hit this little snag.

You seem to be laboring under
the delusion that I am going to...

What was the phrase? "Come quietly."

Well, I can tell you this.

I have no intention of going to Azkaban.

Enough of this.

In the very next moment,
Dumbledore makes what gesture?

He winks at Harry, right?

Right before he does the...

Yeah, I think he winks,
and then he does that thing.

You came to this conclusion
very quickly.

This is my favorite movie,
so I'm feeling confident.

Let's see if you're right.

Take him.

Good job!

That's absolutely right, team,
for fifty points. Well done.

All right. Slytherin,
it's your turn to pick a game.

- I would say, let's go with Engorgio.
- Engorgio.

Engorgio is the engorgement charm

and can make any object
it hits grow in size.

Here, with enlarged Dumbledore's what?

There's red in there.
There's a lot of texture going on.

Yeah.

It makes me think of beads,
which makes me think of his beaded hat.

Beaded hat?
That's exactly what I was gonna say.

Dumbledore is a fashionable dude.

And I've seen this hat and I've worn
a similar hat to this, not that hat.

But this is Michael Gambon's hat.

Let's see if you're right.

Oh, well done.

That's fifty points.

The word of the night is "hat."

All right. It's time for your houses
to have the last word.

Only your houses will play this game

with a big Madame Maxime sized
fifty points on the line.

And once again,
we've got a little treat for you

because I've asked a celebrity
Harry Potter fan to help us out.

He's a talk show titan who's a true
legend in American living rooms.

The face of The Tonight Show
for more than two decades,

please welcome Jay Leno.

Hello there, Dame Helen,
and hello, houses.

This is The Last Word.

I'm gonna read you a passage from
one of my favorite Harry Potter books

and we're gonna leave off the last word.

You out there in the houses,
you have to guess what the word is.

In this passage from
the Sorcerer's Stone,

Harry sees Dumbledore in person
for the first time.

"And there in the center of
the high table and a large gold chair,

sat Albus Dumbledore.

Harry recognized him at once

from the card he gotten out of
the chocolate frog in the train.

Dumbledore's silver hair
was the only thing in the whole hall

that shone as brightly as the..."

And what is the last word?

Is it A, Goblets,

B, Candles,

C, Ghosts or D, Stars?

Okay. I think the votes are in.

The Ravenclaws, you went for answer C.

And Slytherins, you went for D.

- So we have two different ideas here.
- Oh, let's see.

Let's find out how your houses did.

"Dumbledore's silver hair
was the only thing in the whole hall

that shone as brightly as

the ghosts."

Good luck, everybody,
in the rest of the competition.

That is fifty points for Ravenclaw.

Ravenclaw, Ravenclaw, Ravenclaw,
Ravenclaw, Ravenclaw, Ravenclaw...

And that wraps up round three.
It's time for you know who. Luke.

We have Slytherin
on two hundred and thirty points

and we have Ravenclaw
on four hundred and twenty.

Well, this game
has been even more exciting

than the Quidditch World Cup Finals

and we still have
one more final round to go,

the decisive Golden Snitch route.

Only one of these houses
is moving straight on to the final

and we'll find out which one
when we come back.

Welcome back. Tonight's winner
will move on to the final

to compete for that
shiny piece of hardware...

The Tournament of Houses
Championship trophy.

This final round is where everything
can change very quickly.

It's called the Golden Snitch.

In this pressure packed final
chapter of the game,

you'll have to answer six questions.

But this time, you have just
ten seconds to answer.

Your houses will be playing as well.
Each question is worth fifty points.

Now, I know that in the books and the
movies, if you catch the Golden Snitch,

it's worth a hundred and fifty points.

Well, here on television,
we do everything bigger.

So, if your house gets
all six answers right,

we'll double those three hundred points
and make it six hundred.

You see, how things can change?

So, if your house somehow manages that,

they'll likely have just punched
your ticket to the final.

Here we go.

Which of these Harry Potter films

featured a scene aboard
the Hogwarts Express

that showed the students
leaving the school?

A, Chamber of Secrets,

B, Prisoner of Azkaban,

C, Order of the Phoenix,

or D, Half-Blood Prince?

Lock up your answers.

Slytherin, you voted C,
Order of the Phoenix.

Ravenclaw, you went for
D, Half-Blood Prince.

And the correct answer is D,
Half-Blood Prince.

Well done, Ravenclaw.
All right. Next question.

What are these students looking at?

A, A Patronus,

B, Dumbledore speaking,

C, Fireworks

or D, Harry on his broom.

So, both teams went for D,
Harry on his broom.

And both teams are correct.

And we go on to the next question.

"In the Fantastic Beasts films,
Newt has a Bowtruckle friend named what?

A, Willow, B, Pickett,

C, Twiggy, or D, Sprout."

It's B.

And you've both voted B for Pickett.

And both of you are correct.

We have three questions left.

The next question is...

This is a picture of Harry and Ron,
but right now, who do they look like?

A, Augustus and Selwyn,

B, Albert and Reg,

C, Walden and Zacharias,

or D, Avery and Alecto.

- It's B.
- Okay.

You both went for B, Albert and Reg.

And again, you're both correct.

Okay. So, this is question five
of six questions.

"In the Goblet of Fire,
as Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge

noted in his welcoming speech,
which number World Cup was it?

A, The one hundred and forty-third,

B, The four hundred and twenty-second,

C, The nine hundred and seventy-eighth,

or D, The one thousand
five hundred and first."

You both selected B.

And yet again, you're both correct!

All right.
Now, this is the final question.

"In the book, The Half-Blood Prince,

it's revealed that Severus Snape's
mother's full maiden name was what?

A, Colleen Prince,

B, Kathleen Prince,

C, Eileen Prince, or D, Maureen Prince."

And lock in your answers.

Ravenclaw team
and Slytherin, you said C.

The correct answer is...

C.

- Oh, my God, we got everything right.
- We got everything right.

So, that concludes the team portion
of our final round.

Hello.

So, almost at the end of
a thrilling contest,

the team scores are

Slytherin have four hundred and eighty

and Ravenclaw
have seven hundred and twenty.

Yeah.

So, how did the houses do?

Well, let's start
with the house of Slytherin.

They contributed

- two hundred and fifty points.
- Well done, Slytherin.

That puts them ten points ahead.

So, that means, team Ravenclaw,

you need your house to have got
one question right, at least.

We have faith in our house.

So, Luke, did they do it?

Dame Helen,

they didn't get one question right.

They got five and scored
two hundred and fifty points!

Oh, my goodness.

I'm so proud of us.

Slytherin, hard luck.
But it's not over yet, remember.

Because you'll be back to play
in the Wild Card round

and that will give you your chance
for a place in the final as well.

So, that means Ravenclaw is our winner
and is moving onto the final

to play for the championship round.

Congratulations!

That's it for this epic matchup

in Harry Potter:
Hogwarts Tournament of Houses.

And thank you for watching
and remember, please,

never tickle a sleeping dragon.

Good night.
