anyone draw me before,

So...

I mean, they're really good.

You know, you're here.

It's nice and quiet.

Would you sit for me and
let me draw you for real?

Oh! I-i think I'd be way
too self-conscious.

What are you talking about?

There's only one other person
to be embarrassed in front of,

Besides me.

I don't know.

[Laughing]

[Thunder continues]

[Music plays]

It's like a brick wall.

I-i get to the coda,

And there's no inspiration left.

No. It's like... It's
like "baby teeth."

You know? That piece
you wrote last year?

It sounds derivative?

No. I mean, you had the same
problem. I don't remember.

Yeah. Remember, you
wanted something different,

Like a tempo change or a key
change, but, of course, um...

I saved the day with a
brilliant symphonic idea.

Which was what?

Um, well, my humble
layman's advice

Was to go back to
what you already had.

Is that what you
think I should do here?

Go back to the intro?

That might be nice.

[Felicity giggling]

What?

I... This is just really silly.

No, it isn't.

You've painted people
before, haven't you?

Uh, a couple times in a
summer-school art class,

But... I... I never knew how
a model could be a model

Without being self-conscious.

[Laughs]

There was one woman, an old
woman, and she kept so still.

It was remarkable.

I-i mean, it was
like she was dead,

And... And I was supposed
to be drawing her,

But she wasn't blinking.

And so I just kept watching her,

Hoping to see her clothes move or
something to show that she was breathing.

Woman: see ya!

You got the keys?

I... I didn't bring 'em.

All right, I'll lock up. Just make
sure you close the door behind you.

Cool, thanks.

So, what happened to the lady?

Who?

The dead model.

Oh.

She wasn't dead.

She, um... Turns out she was
just really good. [Laughs]

Um...

I'll be right back.

[Piano music plays]

[Thunder crashes]

[Clanking]

So, get comfy.

Is this lame? I mean, I
don't know what you want.

Do you mind?

Oh, no... It's...

[Sighs]

You know what? Um... Will you
excuse me for just a minute?

Yeah, sure.

[Dialing]

[Telephone ringing]

[Ringing continues]

Hi, it's noel. I'm sitting right next to
my phone right now, screening this call.

[Piano music plays]

[Rain pouring]

[Music stops]

[Siren wailing in distance]

Eli: are you sure you're
comfortable like that?

Yeah. Here.

Let me just...

Just...

[Thunder rumbles]

That better?

[Thunder rumbling]

What?

We can't... We can't do this.

What do you mean?

[Sighs]

You can... You
could just stay here.

We don't have to do anything.

I know. I know, but I
shouldn't... I shouldn't be here.

I'm sorry.

Are you okay?

Yeah.

Do you want to stop?

[Rain continues]

[Instrumental music plays]

[Music ends]
