Mr. Sparks: It was a chilly
day for outdoor training,

but my heroic students
don't complain,

and neither does
Arctic Chill!

- [grunts]

- Whoo-hoo!

- Whoo-hoo!
- Wowie!

Nice blocking, Sarah!

- Oops!
One got by me.

- Well, now this is
why we train,

to learn how
to protect people.

- But do we have to use
Arctic Chill?

That cardboard cutout
is very collectible!

- Even more reason
to protect it.

- Oh, can I get something
to block the snowballs?

Like a shield?

- Why not?
- Be right back.

[heroic music]

- I'll go next.

I shall protect Arctic Chill
with a super bubble!

[machine beeps]

-Whoa!
-Ah!

[laughter]

- A shield.

What can I use as a shield?

Cardboard for recycling?

Hmm...

Ah-ha!

Big and flat.

[gasps]
Perfect!

[machine beeps]

- Good cape action, Lucita!
- I'm ready now!

No snowballs will get past
this shield!

- Let's find out.

- [grunts]

Well, my shield got ruined,

but at least Arctic Chill
is okay.

Lucita:
Way to go, AJ.

- Yeah!
- Ha-ha, Yes!

- Good work today, class.

Now, let's get you inside,
Señor Chill.

[cheerful music]

[squeaking]

- [chuckles]

You missed a great
training session, Fur Blur.

- Our special guest
stood up to the test.

- Good thing I found this box
to make my shield.

[laughter, machine beeps]

- The Sparkinator!

Lucita:
There must be trouble!

- Oh, where could it be?

Sara:
It's Amazing Memory Kid.

And it looks like he's
at the recycling bins,

right out...

here!

- [groans]

- Amazing Memory Kid?
What's wrong?

- I can't remember where
I left my sled.

I made it myself
for Reuse-a-palooza.

- You mean that
big sledding party?

- Where all the sleds
are made from reused things?

- Right.

It's today, and I can't find
the sled I made.

- Uh, what does your sled
look like?

- I made it out of
a big cardboard box.

- Cardboard?

- And it has flames
painted on the side.

- Oh, no...

- I thought it was right here.

Maybe my amazing memory
isn't so amazing today.

- Is this your sled?

- Uh-oh.
- Oh, dear.

- [gasps]
It's ruined!

- I'm sorry.

I thought the box was
for recycling.

- Oh!

Why didn't I remember
to put it someplace safe?

- Maybe you can still
ride in it.

See?
[chuckles]

Your sled looks great.

Except for the big hole
in the bottom.

- It won't slide down
a snowy hill like that.

I'm gonna have to miss
Reuse-a-palooza.

- No.

I ruined your sled,
but I'm going to help fix it.

Lucita:
We all are.

If we work together, we can
make your sled good as new.

- Really?

- I'll find something to cover
the hole in the bottom.

Meet you at the hill
in the park.

- Who's the crew who
knows what to do?

- [gasps]

Sparks Crew to the rescue!

- Uh-oh!

[machine beeps]

Sara!

You almost made me
scramble my eggs!

- Sorry, Mrs. Mangia.

Do you have any cardboard
for recycling?

- All I have are these
cardboard egg trays.

- They're perfect!
- Oh!

Well, here you go,

you can carry them
in this plastic bag.

- Great.

Mr. Sparks:
So, my heroic students

went to the tall hill
in the park.

Would they have trouble
fixing the sled,

or would it be all downhill
from here?

- This is the right place.

I remember from last year's
Reuse-a-palooza.

It was on a Friday,
just like today.

- You do have
an amazing memory,

Amazing Memory Kid.

- Hey,
look what I've got to fix

the bottom of the sled.

- A plastic bag?
Oh, great idea!

- No, I was talking about
these egg trays.

- Oh.
Uh, yeah.

Those might work, too.

- How do we know which to use?

- We can figure it out,
if we use our...

Superpowers of Science!

- Let's start by asking
a question:

which will make
a better bottom for the sled?

- Well, the bag is made
of tough plastic...

- But these egg trays
are made of cardboard.

- Huh!
Just like the sled.

Let's try the egg trays.

[backpack beeps, cranks]

- I'll tape them on.

[squeaking]
- Huh?

[squeaking]

Aww, looks like Fur Blur
has her own sled to try out.

Ooh, you cutie.

- [sighs]
Done.

Let's test it out.

[suspenseful music]

- Meet you at the bottom.

- [squeaking]

[car revving]

- Ready?
One, two, three, slide!

- [strains, squeaking]

- Whoa!

[spits]
What happened?

- Maybe it just needs
some super strength.

I got this.

Huh.
It barely moves at all.

- But I need it to slide,
like Fur Blur's sled.

- [squeaking]

- [squeaking]

- I wonder.

Why did her sled work,
and this one doesn't?

- That's a good question.

Maybe we should go
get her sled,

so we can compare them.

- I'm on it.

Want a ride to the top?

- [squeaking]

- Okay, let's look at the
bottoms of these sleds,

side by side,
and see what we notice.

- Well, this tissue box
is made of cardboard,

and it's nice and smooth.

- The egg trays are made
of cardboard, too.

But they're really bumpy.

Lucita: And look, it really
dug into the snow,

instead of sliding
on top of it.

- So, I guess an egg tray

isn't a good sled bottom
after all.

- We need something
that's smooth.

- Hmm...
- Um...

- The plastic bag is smooth.

- Let's give it a try.

- And there!

I covered the whole bottom,
so it should slide easier.

- It's so smooth.
I bet it'll work great.

- Let's test it out.

♪ ♪

- Ready.

- [squeaking]

- On the count of three...

all:
One, two, three, slide!

- Whoo-hoo!
This is amazing!

- Wow, that box can really go!

- Uh, but can it stop?

- [squeaking]

- Ah, too fast!

- He needs help!
Come on!

- I can't stop!

[yells]

- Oh, no!
Bubble up!

- [yells]

Whew!

[yells]

[suspenseful music]

♪ ♪

- Amazing Memory Kid,
are you okay?

- That was too fast!

- I guess the plastic bag

is just too smooth
and slippery.

- There's got to
be something else

we can use for
the bottom of this sled.

- If only we had
some smooth cardboard,

like Fur Blur's
cute little box sled.

- Uh, I know where
we can get some cardboard.

- Is it smooth?

- Very.
[sighs]

It's also collectible.

- [gasps]
You don't mean...

- Yes.

We need Arctic Chill.

- I'm on it.

- Are you sure
this will work, AJ?

- No, but let's try it
and find out.

- [chuckles]
It looks great.

Let's test it out.

- It's too bad
the Arctic Chill cutout

had to be ruined.

- All in the name of science.

- On the count of three.

all:
One, two, three, slide!

[suspenseful music]

- [squeaking]

- Yahoo!
[chuckles]

- It worked!

- Whoo-hoo!

- [chuckles]
We did it!

- Thanks, Sparks Crew.

Now I have a sled that works.

And just in time
for Reuse-a-palooza!

- Finally!

Let's get this sledding
party started!

- Um, shouldn't people
be showing up by now?

- Hmm.
No.

According to this,

Reuse-a-Palooza
isn't until next week!

- Oh!

How could I forget the day?

[laughter]

Mr. Sparks:
And so my students

found the right material
to make a sled

and make some
fun memories, too.

both: ♪ We all belong
in Hero Elementary ♪

Mr. Sparks:
When you have superpowers,

a simple game of catch before
school isn't always so simple.

- Okay, Benny, catch.
[grunts]

Oops!

Oh no, my super strength
does it again.

- That's the third ball
we lost this week.

- Well, that will never
happen again,

thanks to my newest gadget.

I call it the Ball Recall.

- Ooh, ooh!
How does it work?

- No matter how far you throw
the ball, it always comes back.

- Really?
This I've got to see.

- Uh, you sure the ball's
gonna come back?

- Of course.
It's the perfect gadget.

[suspenseful music]

- Uh-oh.

Watch out!

- Oh, I guess maybe
it's not so perfect.

At least not yet.

[strains]

[school bell rings]

- Race you to the classroom.
Whoa!

Oops.
My bad.

[upbeat music]

- Ah, good morning, class.

Take your seats,
then let's get started.

- [fast] Oh, good. You're here.
Listen, I need a big favor.

Our class, The Mighty Brights,
is going on a field trip --

- Turbo Tina,
slow down.

- [slow]
Oh, sorry Mr. Sparks.

- [sighs]
Now, how can we help you?

- [inhales, exhales]

Our class is going
on a field trip today,

and we need someone
to take care of our class pet

till we get back.

- Oh!
Oh!

Uh, you mean your super frog,
The Green Leaper?

- Yeah that's right.
- Oh!

He's the cutest wittle frog,
with the biggest super leaps.

- I know you already
have a class pet.

- [squeaks]

- Do you mind watching
another?

- How much trouble
can one little frog be?

Right, Mr. S?
- We'll be happy to help.

Just bring him here whenever
you are ready to--

- Here he is.
- Oh!

- Aww, hi, Green Leaper,

you little ribbit
cutie wootie!

Ribbit, ribbit!

- [fast] It's easy
to take care of him.

The only thing you need
to do is...

- Slow down, Turbo Tina!
- [chuckles] Oops.

[slow] The only thing
you need to do is feed him.

If you don't, he'll just go
looking for food by himself.

[horn honks]

[fast] Oh, oh!
That's the bus!

Gotta go! Thank you!
Yes! Field trip!

[frog croaks]

- Taking care
of another class's pet

is a big responsibility.

- Nah, Turbo Tina said all
we have to do is feed him.

It'll be no prob, Mr. S.

- So, what does a frog eat?

- Uh, okay,
that I don't know.

Tina turbo'd out of here
before she could tell us.

- Oh!
How about a carrot?

Fur Blur loves them.
Maybe frogs do, too.

- [squeaking]

- There's one way to find out.

Let's get this lid off
and give it to him.

[strains, crash]
Oops.

I gotta remember to use
my inside strength.

- Who wants a carrot?

[frog croaks]

AJ: Not him.
- Huh.

I guess frogs and hamsters
don't eat the same things.

Right, Furry-Blurry?

- [squeaking]

[goofy music]

- Don't worry, Green Leaper,

we'll find you something
to--[gasps].

Oh, no!
Where is he?

[frog croaks]

[bouncing]

Oh!
There you are.

Let's get you back
in your--whoa!

- Oh, no!
He's super-leaping away!

- Ah!
Catch that super frog!

[energetic music]

♪ ♪

- What if he gets outside?

- Don't worry,
the door will stop him.

- What door?

- Oh, I thought I fixed that.

- [grunts]
Where'd he go?

- I don't see him anywhere.

- He must have gone looking
for food, like Tina said.

- We have to get him back.

- Yoo-hoo, Sparks Crew!
There he is!

- You mean was!
- We have to catch him.

- Well, who's the crew
who knows what to do?

all:
Sparks' Crew to the rescue!

[heroic music]

♪ ♪

- Let's spread out
and find that frog!

Mr. Sparks: My super students
soon discovered

that it's super hard to look
for a super leaper

who is searching
for a super snack.

[suspenseful music]

♪ ♪

- Oh, I saw him.
This way!

♪ ♪

[frog croaks]

There he is.
Time to bubble up.

Got him!
- Way to go!

- Now, let's get him
back to the school.

- On it.

Gotcha!

- Froggy!

- Oops, too strong again!

- Huh?
[frog croaks]

[yelling]

[curious music]

♪ ♪

[frog croaks]

- Hey,
I thought you were hungry!

- Oh, guess frogs
don't eat hot dogs either.

Come on.

[suspenseful music]

- Team,
he's heading down Hyper Drive.

- We're on our way.
Come on, AJ.

- There he is.

- Oh!
Let's catch him.

[groans]

- [grunts]

Ah!
It's on me!

Whoa!

[frog croaks]

- AJ!

- [yells]

- I've got ya.

- Whew.
Thanks, Lucita.

- Where'd The Green Leaper go?

- We lost him.
- Maybe we can still find him.

I bet we can figure out where
he's headed, if we use our...

Superpowers of Science!

- Let's start by asking
questions, like,

what do hungry frogs eat?

And where do they go
to get it?

- Well,
what do other animals eat?

- Let's investigate,
and see what we notice.

[light music]

- I notice that squirrel is
eating nuts from the tree.

- And I notice this cute
little caterpillar

is eating a leaf
on this plant.

- Oh, check out
what that bird is eating.

AJ: Ugh.
A worm?

And it's getting it out
of the ground.

Ugh.

- Okay,
now we have some new info.

Lots of different animals
eat lots of different foods

from lots of different places.

- Huh, so maybe there's a place
where frogs go for food.

- But where?

- Well, I've seen frogs at
the pond by Sidekick Park.

Maybe they get
their food there.

- Huh, that's just a hop,
skip, and a snap away!

Let's go.

♪ ♪

- Come on, shoo!
Shoo! Go!

[frogs ribbiting]
- Hear that?

It's coming from over there.

- Whoa.
Look at all the frogs.

Benny: And look at what
they're eating.

- Ugh, that's what frogs eat?
Insects?

Sara:
No wonder they come here.

There's plenty of what
they like to eat.

- So maybe The Green Leaper
came here to eat, too.

- But how are we gonna to know
which one is him?

All these frogs look alike.

[frog croaks]

Benny: But they don't
all leap alike.

Look!

Lucita:
[chuckles] Aha!

Only one super frog can
super-leap like that.

- The Green Leaper!

- Quick, Sara, use your
muscles to grab that log

and bring him over here.

- Uh, oh!
Wait.

My super strength has seriously
caused some problems today.

Maybe I should think first.

If I move the log,

The Green Leaper might get
scared and leap away,

and we may never get him back.

So instead of trying
to catch him,

maybe we can get him
to come to us.

- Oh, good idea.
But how?

- Hmm.
We need a plan.

- Oh,
he sure likes catching flies.

- Hmm.

If only we had something
that looks like a fly,

maybe he'd follow it
over to us.

- I've got an idea!

AJ, we're gonna need
your Ball Recall gadget

and a little tape.

[backpack beeps]
- Got it, here it is.

- Okay.
Here's the plan.

♪ ♪

Come on, froggy,
get the fake fly.

We know you want to.

[frog croaks]

- Almost...
almost...

- Here he comes!

Got him!

- [chuckles] Whoo-hoo!
- Yay!

- We did it, team!

- Aww, who's
a hungry, hungry hopper?

[frog croaks]

- So, was he hard to catch?

- Oh, yeah.

The Green Leaper kept
super-leaping

all over town.

This super frog
was super hungry.

- But once we figured out
that different animals

eat different things
in different places,

yeah, we just had to figure out
where frogs go to eat,

and there he was.

- [chuckles]
Fantástico.

- [fast] Hi, everybody.
I'm back!

- Turbo Tina,
how was your field trip?

- Great!

Thanks so much for taking care
of the Green Leaper

while we were gone.

Oh.
[inhales, exhales]

[slow]
I hope he wasn't any trouble.

- Huh, how much trouble
could one little frog be?

[frog croaks]
[both giggling]

Mr. Sparks: There's no doubt.

My students will always jump
at the chance

to leap into action,

a hoppy ending.
