I'm on my way! ♪

♪ How do they save the day? ♪

all: ♪ Well,

man: Practice!

Mr. Sparks:
Ah, Hero Hill,

City Town's biggest
tourist attraction,

where you can see
history's biggest heroes.

- Look, Pixie Whiskers!
They are so big!

Mr. Sparks: And sometimes
if you're lucky,

you might get to see
a real live hero, such as...

- [grunts]
Athletica!

Ha ha! Whoa!

[mischievous music]

♪ ♪

[grunts]
Ha ha!

- Look, there's Athletica!
- [gasps]

- [grunts] Ha ha!
- Hi, Athletica.

Oh, no!
Pixie Whiskers!

[triumphant music]

- [grunts]

Ha ha!
- Yippie!

[dramatic music]

♪ ♪

Thanks, Athletica.
- Always happy to help.

♪ ♪

- Can we get a picture?
- Of course.

- Everyone say "hero"!
all: Hero!

[rumbling, all gasp]

♪ ♪

[all gasp]
- [grunting]

- You saved us!
- But look.

Hero Hill is ruined.

- [gasps]
Oh, nose!

[dramatic musical sting]

Mr. Sparks:
Meanwhile, at Hero Elementary,

my students were up
to their noses in a project.

- So what kind of craft
are we supposed to make

with this stuff?

- Ta-da!
- [squeaking]

- Oh, a hero mask?

- Sí, today
you will work together

to make a hero mask,
like this.

I made this mask on a balloon
to give it the right shape.

But I thought maybe
instead of a balloon...Benny?

- Say no more.
Bubble up!

- [chuckles]
Gracias.

Now you can make your hero mask
right on this bubble.

All you need is pieces of
newspaper and something sticky

to paste it all together.

- [squeaks]
- Wait.

I don't see anything sticky.

There's some water here,

but it's too wet and runny
to make anything stick.

- And there's flour, but it's
powdery and dry, not sticky.

[exhales sharply

[playful music]

Oops, sorry, Fur Blur.
- [squeaks]

- Hmm, we have flour,
and we have water.

[gasps] What if we try
mixing them together?

- Aha, making a mixture.
- Let's try it!

[upbeat music]

- [squeaks]

Sara: Hey, the mixture is
starting to look different.

It's not too dry and powdery
or too wet and runny.

- It's thick and goopy
and sticky!

- Pretty neat!
- [squeaks]

- Not neat.
Messy.

- Let's see if it will help
the paper stick to the bubble.

[grunts]

- Hey, it works!
- Fantástico.

You figured out how to make
paste--a good, sticky mixture.

[alarm blaring]
- The Sparkinator!

There must be trouble.

- [gasps]
That's Athletica.

My favorite hero.

Lucita: Looks like
she's at Hero Hill.

- Oh, this is a big problem!

- Athletica needs our help!
We've got to go right now!

- Well, who's the crew who--
- I'm coming, Athletica!

- I didn't get to say, "Who's
the crew who knows what to do?"

[dramatic musical sting]

all:
Sparks' Crew to the Rescue!

Mr. Sparks: And so my students
rushed to Hero Hill,

where they'd soon find
a big problem

right under their noses.

- Athletica!
- Sara Snap!

What are you doing here?

- [gasps]
You remembered my name?

[clears throat]
We came to help you.

- "We"?

- Never fear.
Sparks' Crew is here!

- Well, Sparks' Crew,
I could really use your help.

Look!
[all gasp]

- Is that a nose?
- It sure is.

- Oh, that's from Vinny Vortex,

one of City Town's
greatest heroes!

- Uh, how did it break off?

- My super strength can
sometimes cause super problems.

- I can totally relate.

- And I don't know

how to fix it.

- We can help.

After all, we are the crew
who knows what to do.

- [laughs]
"Nose" what to do.

[laughs] Good one, AJ!
- Huh?

- Maybe we should use our...

all:
Superpowers of Science!

- Ha ha!
A fine idea!

- Let's start
by asking questions,

like, what do we need
to fix the nose?

- Hmm, we need something
to help it stay on the face,

something sticky.

- Huh, we just made
some sticky paste at school.

- Maybe that will work.

- I'll get what we need
to make paste.

Be back in a snap!
[snaps fingers]

[grunts]

- Flour?
But it's so dry and powdery.

How is this going
to make the nose stick?

- Ha. Just wait.

When we mix it with water,

it will change
into a goopy, sticky mixture.

- Where will we get the water?

- Right here.
Listen.

[river flowing]

- [gasps]
The river!

Yep, we've got plenty of water.

- Then it's time to make paste.
Let's do this!

[exciting music]

♪ ♪

Sara: I got it!

Ha ha!

♪ ♪

- [grunts]
- [grunts]

♪ ♪

Wow, this mixture is
so thick and goopy now.

- Let's put the paste
on the nose.

Athletica, can you lift it up
for us?

- Of course she can.
Show 'em!

[triumphant music]

- Oh. Oops!

It's a bit
too smooth and slippery.

Ha! This should help.

- Oh, what is that?
- It's Gotcha Chalk!

It's a super-strong
super powder

that helps me hold on
to things.

all: Whoa!
- [grunts]

Oh!
See, gotcha!

- Awesome!
[kids cheer]

- Ha ha!

[kids cheering]

[hopeful music]

- You think this paste
will really make the nose

stick back on?

- That's the plan.

Now we just have
to test it out.

- Come on, Sara.
I'll need your help for this.

Ha ha!

- Oh, this day
can't get any better!

Coming, Athletica!

♪ ♪

- Sara, if you stand
on my shoulders,

together we should be
tall enough

to stick the nose
back into place.

- [gasps]
It would be an honor.

I'll grab the nose!

Whoa!
[grunts]

Whoa, it really is
smooth and slippery.

- Here, use my Gotcha Chalk.
- Ooh.

[upbeat music]

Hey, this stuff really
does help me hold on.

- Now I'll just lift you up.

[grunts]
- Whoa, whoa!

- Ha ha! [grunts]
[rock thuds]

Did it stick?
- Yes!

Whoo-hoo!
- Ha ha! We did it!

Lucita:
Um, Sara?

- Oops, I put the nose on
upside down.

- Oh, I don't think
it's staying on anyway.

Watch out!

both:
Whoa!

- [gasps]
Stop that runaway nose!

[suspenseful music]

♪ ♪

[device beeps]

- Gotcha! Whoa!

[screams]

- Oh, no!
[grunts]

[both yelp]
- Bubble up!

♪ ♪

[gasps]
Uh-oh!

- Ready to stop this thing?

- Let's do this!

- [grunting]

♪ ♪

- [grunting]

- [grunting]

♪ ♪

both:
Ha ha!

- Okay, let's figure out
what went wrong.

- Well, the flour
and water mixture was sticky,

just not sticky enough.

- We need something

that will really
make the nose hold on.

- [gasps]
Hold on.

Like Athletica's Gotcha Chalk!

- Yes!
Thought projecting!

Athletica used it on her hands

to hold on
to the slippery nose.

- So what if we mix
Gotcha Chalk and water

and make a Gotcha paste?

- Great plan, Sara.
Let's give it a try.

- Gotcha Chalk is
dry and powdery like flour,

but it's much stickier.

- But when you mix it
with water,

the mixture is thick and goopy
like a super-sticky paste.

- Let's put it on the nose
and see if it sticks!

[exciting music]

♪ ♪

[hopeful music]

♪ ♪

[grunts]
It's sticking so far.

♪ ♪

- That super-sticky
Gotcha paste worked!

The nose is staying on!

- Yes!
- We did it!

- Whoo-hoo!
Ha ha! yes!

[both grunt]

Ha ha!

[triumphant music]

- Real live heroes
fixing Hero Hill--

now, that's what
I call a photo op.

- Can I take a picture
with you?

- Me?
- Yes.

You're a real hero.
- Aw.

But we all did it together,

so how about a picture
with everyone?

Heroes!

Mr. Sparks:
So, if you have a problem

that gets your nose
out of joint,

call the Sparks' Crew.

They're not afraid
to mix things up a little.

[chuckles]

Mr. Sparks: Did you ever have
one of those days

where everything's
going downhill?

- Watch out!

Hot-dog cart on the loose!
[people gasp]

[mischievous music]

Mr. Sparks: Being
a hot-dog seller has its ups

and its downs.

- Oh, no!

Mr. Sparks: And so does
being a young hero.

- Can I get a turn
on the seesaw next?

Mr. Sparks: All right, class.
Recess is over.

Time for hero training.

- What are we gonna work on
today, Mr. Sparks?

- Strength training.

All heroes need to know
how to use their own strength.

- I know all about that.

[grunts] Super strength is
kind of my thing.

- Wow, Sara, you've got to be
the strongest kid in school.

- You know so much
about strength.

[gasps]
I bet you could teach a class!

- What an excellent idea!
- Huh?

- Sara should teach the class
about strength.

- You mean, like,
be the teacher?

- Why not?

I'm sure everyone
could learn a lot from you.

You can be teacher for the day.

- Whoa!
- Oh, yeah!

- Whoa!
Me a teacher!

- So, uh, what's the first
thing you're gonna teach?

- Well, class,
today I will teach you

how to lift heavy things.

Let's start
with something small.

- Those are supposed
to be small?

- On the count of three,
everyone lift.

One, two, three.

all: Lift...
[all groaning, sigh]

- Huh.

- Well, not everyone
can be super strong.

A good teacher helps students

use the strengths
they already have.

[alarm blaring]
Benny: The Sparkinator!

- There must be trouble.

- [grunting]

What am I gonna do?

- That's Frank,

the man who sells hot dogs
at the Force Field ballpark.

- [squeaks]

- Looks like he has a problem.
We should go help.

- Muy bien.

Who's the crew
who knows what to do?

all: Sparks'--
- Wait.

Since Sara's the teacher,
aren't we Sara's Crew today?

- Oh, yes, good idea.
Go ahead, Sara.

- [clears throat]

Who's the crew
who knows what to do?

all:
Sara's Crew to the Rescue!

- To Force Field!

[triumphant music]

[Frank grunts]

It won't move.

- Don't worry.
We've come to help.

- Hot diggity dog!

I'm glad you're here,
'cause I'm really in a pickle.

I'm supposed to move my cart
to sell hot dogs

at the baseball game later,
right over there...

[organ music]

But I can't move my cart.
Look.

Benny: Oh, that is
one broken wheel.

- Now, I've got
an extra wheel, see?

But I need help lifting
the cart so I can put it on.

- Wait, you sell
super hot dogs?

- Oh, you betcha ketchup I do.

- What makes
these hot dogs super?

- Oh, no, no.
Don't you do that.

Phew. They've got
these capes, you see,

that help them fly
right to you.

- [squeaks]

- Let's show them!
Watch and learn, class.

Hey, Hot Dog Man!
I'll take a hot dog!

- Order up!
Coming right to you!

- Ha ha!

- Wow!
- Whoa!

Now, that's what
I call fast food.

- Yep!
[laughter]

Oh, dog gone!
I forgot to close the lid!

- We'll get them.
Come on!

- [squeaks]

- Bubble up!

[exciting music]

- [squeaks]

♪ ♪

[squeaks]

[squeaks angrily]

♪ ♪

- Sorry, Fur Blur.
Hot dogs are not hamster food.

- [squeaks angrily]

- You kids can eat those
if you want.

I've got plenty more.

- Oh, boy!
girls: Great!

- Thanks!
- Thank you!

- Mmm.
Mmm, mmm, mmm!

That is a super hot dog!
- Mm-hmm! Super delicious!

- And the best part is you
can use the cape as a napkin.

[grunts]

- Now, about my broken wheel?

- We can help with that.

I'll just lift the cart up
so he can change the wheel.

- Wait, Sara, you're supposed
to be teaching us

how to lift something heavy,
remember?

- Oh, yeah, my students here
will lift your cart for you.

- Your students?

- Yeah, I'm their teacher.
[kids giggle]

All right, class, who wants
to try to lift this cart?

- Um, I think it's too heavy
for any of us to lift.

[grunting]
- I'll teach you how.

All you have to do is get
a good grip with your hands,

bend at the knees,
then stand up as you lift.

- I'll try!

[knuckles cr*ck]

[grunts]

Yeah, uh, that's
not going anywhere.

- Hmm, what was it
Mr. Sparks said before we left?

- Um...
thought projecting.

- A good teacher

[all grunting]
- Yeah.

- Can you get it higher?
- We...can't!

[all groan]
- It's still too heavy.

- [squeaks]

[playful music]

- Hoppin' hot peppers!
- Oh, no, Fur Blur!

- I've got her, Lucita!

- AJ, look out!
- Huh?

[grunts]
- [squeaks]

all: Oh, no!
- Bubble up!

- [squeaks]
- Phew.

You okay, girl?

Aw.

Oops!

Oh. [chuckles] You like that?
- [squeaks]

- Up and down.
Up and down.

- Looks like Fur Blur's
on a teeny-tiny seesaw.

- Yeah, when one end goes up,
the other end goes down.

- That's 'cause it's a lever.
- A lever?

- Yeah, with levers, you push
down to make something go up,

like the latch
on my hot-dog cart.

See, when I press this end
down, it lifts the lid up.

Oh, hey!
Nope, nope, not today.

- You press down
to lift something up.

[gasps] Class, this may be
information we can use.

We need to lift
something up, right?

- Yeah, the hot-dog cart.

- Huh, if a little lever
can lift up the lid,

maybe a bigger lever
could lift the cart up!

- Yes!
I mean...nice prediction.

- Well, sour sauerkraut,
why didn't I think of that?

- We can use this wood
as the lever.

- But the lever can't work
if it's flat on the ground.

We need to put something
underneath it.

- How about a rock?

Like this one.

I think I can lift it
if I do what Sara taught us.

[grunting]

♪ ♪

- Nice lifting, Benny!
- Well, I had a good teacher.

[chuckles]

- There.
Now we have a lever.

- Well, that is the best thing
since fancy mustard!

- Now let's test it out!

- Remember, push down
to lift up.

Frank, let's get ready
to change that wheel.

- On three.
One, two, three.

[all grunting]

- Um, can you get
the cart higher?

- [grunts] No, the cart
is still too heavy.

[all grunt]
- Hmm.

Maybe we should compare
this lever

to Fur Blur's little seesaw.

- Yes, compare--
another Superpower of Science!

- Well, they both have
a rock underneath

that helps the lever
go up and down.

- But that rock is
in the middle of the lever.

Ours isn't.
- Good eyes, AJ!

I mean...
nice observation.

- So what if we try
moving our rock

so it is in the middle?

- I like this plan!

- Let's put it to the test.

[funky music]

[all grunting]

- Hey, the cart doesn't feel
as heavy as before.

- But the cart still
isn't quite high enough.

[all groan]
- Hmm.

Moving the rock
a little closer to the cart

did help us lift it higher.

[gasps]
So what if we move the rock

even closer to the cart?

- Try it, class!

♪ ♪

- On three.
all: One, two, three, push!

- [gasps]
It's working!

- That's pickle perfect!

- I can't believe
we can actually lift it!

- Looks like the closer
the rock is to the cart,

the easier it is
to push down on the lever.

- Ha, okay, you can
let the cart down.

[upbeat music]

Hot diggity dog!
We did it!

Ooh!
[chuckles awkwardly]

Did anyone ever tell you
you're pretty strong?

- Ah, I get that a lot.

Well, class,
excellent work today.

You lifted something heavy
without super strength!

- Oh, thank you all.

I am one lucky dog
to have your help.

[cheers and applause]
And just in time.

The ball game's about to begin.

Hot dogs!
Get your super hot dogs here!

- Well, Teacher, should
we get back to school now?

- Yeah, but I think I'm done
being teacher for the day.

I kind of like being one
of the crew.

- So do we!
