Well, first it starts off as

Yeah, and then it grows--it
Starts to grow out of the
Ground like a little baby tree
With flowers on it. Ha ha!
Yeah. It'’s pretty small, but
Then it gets bigger and bigger
And bigger!
Until it looks like a big
Grownup tree. Oh, oh, and look!
There are lots of new oranges
Growing out of it.
Right, and those oranges on
The tree have seeds inside of
Them! What do you think those
Seeds will grow into?

That fishy-looking thing.
I think that'’s called a
Tadpole.

Have any legs.

Long tail, so it can swim

Otherwise, it would just float

Legs.
That'’s called a froglet.
Hmm. Its legs are so little.

Explore the life cycle of a
Butterfly. First it lands on a
Plant and lays a small egg.
Then the egg hatches into a
Small caterpillar, which eats
Lots of leaves and grows into a
Big caterpillar.
When it'’s finished growing, it
Changes into chrysalis. While
It'’s hanging inside its
Chrysalis, the caterpillar
Slowly changes into a
Butterfly. At first, the
Butterfly looks small, but as
The wings fill with fluid, the
Butterfly gets bigger and
Bigger until it'’s a full-size
Butterfly that can fly away to
Start the life cycle all over
Again. Let'’s look at the life
Cycle of another creature. What
Animal do you think will hatch
Out of here?
A chicken! You'’re right! It
Takes a long time for a chick
To hatch out of an egg. First,
It uses its beak to poke
Through the shell. Then the
Head comes out and the legs,
And finally the whole body gets
Out of the shell.
The chick learns how to walk,
And it starts growing and
Growing, and eventually it
Grows into a big chicken, and
That is its life cycle.

Little chicks. They were so
