and owls, and kitty cats,
and tigers...

watch me say the magic word,

and pull a duck out of my hat!

That magic trick was something
special that I can do!

- Prince Wednesday's
magic trick is so funny!

- That was a funny magic trick.

- Super funny!

- Prince Wednesday can do

(sigh)
I can't do a magic trick.

I'm not that special.
- O the Owl,

would you like to go now?
- Well... OK.

Maybe if I do a magic trick,
I'll be special too!

these beautiful leaves!

- Ah! Look at this leaf!

- You know, Daniel,
leaves are like snowflakes.

Every single one is different.

Look! Leaf hat!
(Daniel laughs.)

- I think I want this one!
- Purrrfect!

(Daniel laughs.)
- Oh!

- Ooh! I'm gonna hop
over those leaves!

- And , , , jump!
- Woo-hoo!
- Very good!

- Ooh, look at this leaf!
It has green and brown!

It's so pretty!
- You have such a good eye

for noticing things.
That's one reason why...

with my leaf?

- That's a wonderful

so many colors.

- Look at that big leaf
way up high!

- Daniel, hi!

- Look, there's Daniel, Daddy!

- Why, hello, Tiger family!

How are you
on this fabulous day?

- We're good, thanks!
Just checking out the leaves.

- Hi, neighbor.
See what I'm wearing?

It's a star!
- Oh, that star is nice!

- Thanks! I made it myself!

With lots of glitter
and paint and stuff,

And I'm gonna wear it all day!

- Because you are a star...

a twinkling star!

If you wiggle like this,

you'll really look
like a twinkling star.

- Twinkle, twinkle!

- You look special, Miss Elaina!

- I am special, toots!
(Miss Elaina laughs.)

- We need to get back
to our music shop.

when you're outside in nature!

- What are you doing, O?

- I was reading
my book about leaves!

- But the leaves are right here!

- I know. But, did you know

that leaf piles
are fun to jump in?

- You read that in your book?
- Yesiree! See?

- You're a good reader, O!
- Thank you!

- I don't know how to read...

but I do know, that there
is a real leaf pile right there!

- That leaf pile looks just

like the one in my book,

hoo-hoo!
- I bet it's fun to jump in!

- OK!
- Jump with us.

- Hoo-hoo!

(laughter)

- That was fun!
- My book was right!

a grr-ific reader!

because you can read.

Daniel, look! I see some
more leaves for your picture!

- Great!

- This is one
of my favorite times of year.

(Dad Tiger hums.)
- Dad, did you know

that O could read?
- I did know that.

- O the Owl is really special

because he knows how to read.
I wish I knew how to read.

- You will read
when you're ready.

And in the meantime,
I like when we read together.

- I will read someday.
- Yes, you will!

you need for your idea.

red leaves first!

A piece to stick here and uh...
Oh, that looks nice!

I like the big yellow leaf!
(laughing)

And these little orange ones.

And my thing
for green and brown leaf!

Oh, and let's move
this one around. Look!

We're jumping in a leaf pile!

- Ooh, I like your work!

All of the leaves
are so different!

- Mm-hmm! That green
and brown leaf is nice!

- Thanks.
- So do you like my picture?

- I do like it.

friend Annie. She's making
dumplings with her dad.

to get the green onions?

Dump them all in.

You've made dumplings before?

- Ya, who taught you how to?
- Mom did.

- She learnt it
from my grandmother.

- And she passes it on.
And you pass it on, right?

- Right now, that's right.

I don't think you mixed
before, have you?

- Uh, no.
- Remember having it in China?

We had dumplings there.
- Oh yeah, I loved that...

- That's right.
- ...restaurant.

That good?
- Add a little bit here...

and then here.

- And we're gonna fold it over.

- Like thingy-majjigy?

- Ya, we can pinch all the edges

so that all
the filling doesn't...

- Now it's pinch all it out...
- We'll put a little bit of glue

on one of the ears. OK?

Then pull the ears together.

- How?
- Just grab the ears.

Ya, and then pinch
them together.

There we go.
- ♪ It's you I like ♪

- That's it.
- ♪ Not the things you wear ♪

- Looks pretty good.
(laughter)

- ♪ It's not the way you do
your hair but it's you I like ♪

you are right now ♪

- Good. You ready?
- Mm-hmm!

- You want to go cook it?
OK, let's wash our hands.

- Drop it from, like, here.
- Here?

- Ya. Ya, and I'll stir it.
