decorating the neighborhood

for the Fall Festival.

And later we're playing outside
during Field Day at school!

there's going to be a big
festival to celebrate fall!

See... everyone's decorating!

- Oh, I see some good ones!

- Even Trolley is decorated

for the Fall Festival!
It's going to be grr-ific.

I've got something
to show you, toots! Come on!

- Let's go see what it is!

Look what my dad did.
- Whoa!

the fall decorations!

(giggling)

- Just about done.

- Whoa... This pumpkin tower

is taller than me.
(chuckling)

Look at that tree!

These pinecones are painted
all different colors,

like the fall leaves!

- Daniel, I want you
to meet my friend.

Say hello to Mr. Scarecrow!

- Hello, Mr. Scarecrow.

I like your hat!
It is very big and floppy.

- I like your long arms.

They go straight out and
they are good for... hugging!

- Hug!
- A rrroyal hello!

- Hiya, toots!
- Whoa!

Those are rrroyally
neat decorations!

- Why thank you!
- I'm going to play piano

at the Fall Festival
in front of everyone.

I'm kind of nervous.
- It's natural to feel nervous.

But you'll be great.
Come on, let's go practice.

- OK. I want to play my song
times to practice!

- OK, OK.
(wind howling)

- Whoa! It's so,
so, so, so windy!

- It's blowing
all of the leaves!

- It's blowing... everything!

- Oh, no!

- The decorations!
They're ruined.

Poor Mr. Scarecrow.

Can you fix them, Dad?
- Well...

I'll have to do it after
Prince Wednesday's piano lesson.

I'll have to work quickly, or
there won't be any decorations

for the festival!
- No decorations?

- No pumpkin tower?

- No Mr. Scarecrow?!

- Music Man Stan, while you have
Prince Wednesday's piano lesson,

we can fix the decorations.

Mr. Scarecrow back together.

and I brought over

(grunting)

is so... heavy.

- I'm trying!

this pumpkin
is too heavy for me!

Why can Katerina
pick up a big pumpkin,

but I can't?

- Everyone is different, Daniel.
You don't have to be good

at carrying pumpkins
just because Katerina is.

- I want this scarecrow's arms

to be straight out --
the way my Dad had them.

They keep flopping back down!

- Hmm... Well,

the scarecrow doesn't have
to be as good as your Dad's.

It just has to be your best.

we play outside

and learn some
new games all together.

Today our Field Day games
will be FALL games.

- First we'll play
the leaf jump!

You start on that side
of the leaf pile.

Then you jump over
the leaves as far as you can!

- Ooh, that is a BIG leaf pile.

- Here I go!
I'm gonna count to three.

Bend, bend, bend! OK, I'm ready.

RRROYAL JUMP!

I jumped rrroyally far!

- Can I go next?
- Step right up, Daniel.

(moaning)

- Daniel! You landed
IN the crunchy leaves.

- But I didn't want
to jump in the leaves.

I wanted to jump
over the leaves,

like Prince Wednesday did.

and... LEAF JUMP!

Grrr! My jump isn't big enough.

How would you feel
if you couldn't jump as big

as you wanted to?

I'm frustrated. Grrr.

I didn't even make it
over the leaves.

And I kick a ball
in a special way...

by twirling!

- OK, Prince Wednesday.

- Yeah! Huh?
Where'd the ball go?

- Right there!
- Oh.

I didn't even kick the ball.
OK, I'll try again.

And... KICK! Hey, wrong way!

- Here! Try again!

(sighing)

I can't kick the ball like
Katerina and Miss Elaina did.

I don't think I want to play
pumpkin soccer anymore.

- Hold on, Prince Wednesday.
Don't give up.

- Yeah, you don't have
to kick the ball like them.

of new things today.

Some of them were hard
for me, but I did my best.

with one of our neighbors!

- Hi, my name is Thomas, and my
friend Larry is gonna show me

how to make apple cider.
Hi, Larry.

- Hi, Thomas! How are you today?
- Good.

- You come to help me
make some cider?
- Yes!

- Alright.
- Where are the apples?
- I can show you. Right now

they're in this big box.

We dump the big boxes
of apples onto here

where they go through
at this machine right here

and get washed. Then they go
up this elevator where they get

dropped into a box that grinds
them up into an apple sauce.

Then we pump it through a hose
over here onto the cider press.

Push it under the center of
the cider press that picks it up

and squeezes all
the juice out of it.

- Where does the cider go?
- The cider goes through

this hose and out through
the pipe. Goes into a big t*nk

until we're ready to use it.
You wanna check it out?

- Yep.

- This is where we bottle,
Thomas. You wanna help?

- Yeah.
