It reminds me of the city

where I used to live.

but I've never been to a city before.

used to live in a city.

Near the tallest skyscraper in the city.

But, what is a skyscraper?

really tall building.

It's the tallest kind of building.

Periwinkle: One time, my friend Plum and I

went up to the top of a skyscraper

in an elevator just like that.

Steve: Really?

The very top?

Wow.

So, Tractor, do you see your friend yet?

She said she lives in a parking garage

right near here.

[barks "parking garage?"]

But I don't know what a parking garage is.

Yeah, neither do I.

I know what a parking garage is.

It's a building where lots of cars are parked inside.

So, where is the parking garage?

I can see all the cars inside.

And don't forget to look both ways.

This is a lot like the parking garage

near where I used to live.

So, uh, Tractor, what kind of car is your friend?

She's a yellow taxicab.

I know what a taxicab is!

It's a car that gives people rides

to different places in the city.

But it costs money.

It has a sign with a light on top

so people can find it.

Oh. Great.

So, a yellow car with a sign and a light.

Just let us know if you see the yellow taxi.

Right there!

[horn honking]

Oh, yeah.

There it is.

Uh, Tractor, is that your friend?

Taxi?

I'll show you around the city.

but, I think we better find our last clue.

that Periwinkle can play the skyscraper game.

Well, what do we have in the backyard

that's really tall like skyscrapers?

out of an old game

by using tall trees instead of skyscrapers.

This is called the Bounce game.

You have to try to bounce the ball

as high as you can. Like this.

We need something harder

so the ball can bounce.

What could Periwinkle use in the backyard

to play the Bounce game?

So, we're trying to figure out what Periwinkle could do

to feel better about missing his friend.

And our clues are:

crayons...

folded piece of paper...

and an envelope.

So... so maybe Periwinkle could do something

with the crayons and the paper.

Yeah.

But what could he do?

Make a picture.

Make a picture. Yeah.

And the paper is folded in half so that would make a card.

So if Periwinkle made a picture and folded it into a card...

then what would he do with the envelope?

Mail it.

Periwinkle could make a card and mail it to his friend Plum.
