ALICE: "If the shoe hat fits."

Fork here, spoon there.

Napkin? Just for show.

And last but certainly not least,

my beloved ponzu sauce.

(laughs)

(in Japanese)
Itadakimasu.

(in English)
Oh, let's eat.

-Happy unbirthday, Hattie!
-Happy unbirthday, Hattie!

(munching)

Thanks! I can't believe
it's my , th unbirthday already.

What are you starting your big day with?

Pancakes with ponzu sauce.

Hm. I love ponzu,

but ponzu with pancakes
is a curious combo.

And so soggy.

(munching)

(gulps)

That's half the point.

I've been on a ponzu kick lately.
It's citrusy, tangy.

Great on anything. Um-um-hm.

DAD HATTER: Alice!

Fergie! Beep, beep!

(laughs)
Hi, Dad Hatter.

Hattie, why don't you go
on that wild goose chase we talked about?

Your friends and I have
your unbirthday party to discuss.

-(Dad Hatter laughs)
-Ah.

Sure thing, Dad.

That wild goose doesn't stand a chance.

Have fun planning my party.

We have a simply hat-tacular party
in the works.

A chocolate cannon, origami-making, music!

And from March Hare and me.

An extra special gift.

(whistling)

A one-of-a-kind, genuine Hatter shoe hat!

(whimsical music)

Um, are you sure
that's not just a regular shoe?

No, young Fergie.

It's a shoe hat.

Could you wear a shoe like this?

(grunting)

March Hare and I made it together.

Shoe hats are a hatter tradition.

Well, if it is a special gift for Hatters,

then it's perfect for Hattie's unbirthday.

How can we help with the party?

With the food course, of course.
(laughs)

-Great idea.
-We're in!

(sighs)
No luck chasing that wild goose.

Oh, check out these little guys.

Think we'll have room
for them at the party?

Oh, there's always room for new friends.

Oh, I'm sure you'll come up
with the perfect Hattie dish.

Good luck.

Come, new friends. Have some tea.

-Do you like tea? I could make...
-The perfect Hattie dinner dish.

Hm. I guess we'll need to think like him

and put ourselves in his shoes.

I'll do you one better.

(meows)

That's a top hat look, Dinah.

These hats really help you get
in the Hattie spirit.

(grunting, yelps)

But I still can't juggle like him.

You think we have what we need, Cookie?

Oh, sure, sugar.

These are all of Hattie's
favorite ingredients.

Then let's throw them all in the mixer
and mash them together!

(laughs)
Fergie!

Remember when you put everything
in the pantry on your ice cream sundae?

I certainly do.

You said it tasted like icky mush.

Whiskers!

That was a bad idea.

(meows)

It's the same with this dish.

We have to find the right ingredients
and the right amounts.

Or else, it'll taste like a mess!

Woo!

It's a key principle of the cookie method.
(giggles)

So, what are we making?

It'll take a little experimenting.

These ingredients
all have such different flavors.

(giggles)
That's Hattie for you.

Hm. Um...

ALICE: I got it!

Hattie Manicotti!

Manicotti pasta?

Well, the manicotti part will be pasta,

but the Hattie part
will be a whole lot of other things.

Then let's hattie up this manicotti.

Jumping garlic on the loose!

Whoa!

Oh...
(mumbles)

The bread and butterflies got out.

Oh, they love chasing garlic.

(chuckles)

Our Hattie manicotti
is off to a spinning start.

(purrs)

(bubbling)

Oh! It's gonna blow!

(blasts)

Fresh Tomatoes.

-Tomato.
-Tomatoes.

(meows)

Chocolate sauce.

-Chocolate.
-Chocolat!

-(meows)
-Lemon juice.

-FERGIE: Lemon.
-COOKIE: Lemon!

(meows)

Mm. We're getting close.

Now for the right amount of cheese.

(all cheer)

(munching)

Delicious.

Oh, let's bookmark this one.

I see what you mean
about balancing the flavors.

Now, that's big enough
for his whole unbirthday party.

And this is Alice's Wonderland bakery!

Wow. Which smells incredible.

It's like all my favorite flavors
tickling my nose at once.

What is it?

We can't tell you.

Because it's for your unbirthday.

Don't want to spoil the surprise.

See? Just like I said,
the best friends a guy can ask for.

Well, I can't wait to taste it.

Especially once I smother it
with ponzu sauce!

See you at the party.

Did he say he's going to...

Smother it in Ponzu sauce?

He sure did.

But ponzu's salty citrus flavor

would throw the whole
Hattie manicotti taste off balance.

If Hattie wants to eat it with sauce,
he should.

Oh. I know that look.

Tell us what you're thinking,
Snickerdoodle.

Ponzu might not taste right
with our Hattie manicotti.

But since Hattie loves sauces,

we can make a rainbow
of other ones that will.

-A brilliant idea.
-Yes.

Time to stir up some sauces!

(upbeat music)

(grunts, laughs)

Aces!

-Merry unbirthday, Hattie!
-Merry unbirthday, Hattie!

Isn't it something?

But this is what I've been waiting for.

Can I see it?

Presenting...

Hattie manicotti!

Stuffed with eleventeen
of Wonderland stinkiest cheeses

and a chocolate lemon parmesan
tomato reduction.

Specially designed
to celebrate our pal Hattie.

(gasps)
It's even more incredible than I imagined.

Oh, let's eat!

Oh, I almost forgot. Ponzu sauce.

We knew you might say that.

So we have a surprise for you.

Oh, a surprise?

We made some other sources

that will go perfectly
with your manicotti.

Presenting ringin' chili teeny cherry.

-Presto pesto...
-That flavors truly magical.

Mmm. Brown butter sage.

A wise choice.

And my favorite, carrot carbonara!

(chirping)

Oh, this is so thoughtful.

But I think I'll just have
to stick with my ponzu.

Speaking of which, where did it go?

Guess you should try it
with one of the sauces we made, huh?

Oh, I keep a backup batch of ponzu
in the freezer,

Hattie's got more ponzu than I do carrots.

What are we going to do?

DAD HATTER: Welcome, Wonderlanders!

We're thrilled you're all here
