- Pony.

- [grunting]

- Look, I found Dad's old tent!

Help me figure out how to put it up.

- As soon as I get this bear trap open.

- It's not a bear trap, it's a camp chair.

- Pretty sure it's a trap.

- Are you sure it's okay with the school

for Pony to go on the camping trip?

- I'm a chaperone.

- No, you're not.

- It's definitely okay, it's a nature weekend,

and he loves nature!

- And nature loves me, we're old friends,

it'll be great to catch up, I can't wait!

[grunts]

- Fine,

it'll be nice to have some peace and quite around here

for a change.

- This trip is going to be so great, everybody's going!

Clara, Jerry, Heston.

We'll probably stay up late telling ghost stories!

Do I know a ghost story?

I need to learn a ghost story.

- Guess what I caught in my trap?

- Whatever it is, it's attached to that guy over there.

- Hm.

- BOTH: Ah!

- Get it out, get it out!

- I am, I am!

- [whimpers]

- Hm.

- [whimpers]

- [growls]

- ♪

- Quick, hide!

- Ah-ha!

Yes!

My old friend nature, she'll hide us.

Catch me bush! Ah!

- ♪

- Ah, itchy! Ow, why did it do that?

Ow!

- Pony?

- Cactus!

More succulents! - Pony!

What's--what's happening?

- The plants are attacking me.

Oh!

Ah, phew, a dainty dandelion.

Ah!

- [crash] - [moans[

You okay?

- Yep, just hiding.

- From the man or the plants?

- Um, the man.

- He's gone.

Come on, let's go back

and figure out the rest of the camping stuff.

So, you're fine with the plants?

That was quite a scene back there.

- What? Of course.

Who'd have a problem with plants?

I'll go the back way.

I just wanted a less scenic route.

I'm still really itchy.

- You want itchy?

Wait till you try Dad's sleeping bag.

Pony?

- [groaning]

- Are you okay?

- Eh, just getting a little workout before we go camping.

Ee! - Coming in?

- Nah, I don't spend nearly enough time in the hallway.

- [sighs] Okay.

I think you're scared of plants.

How are we gonna spend

a weekend camping in the wilds of nature?

- I was just playing a game, I'm not scared of plants,

that's ridiculous.

Oh! - [crash]

- What?

That one snuck up on me.

Normal ones that don't move, I'm fine with.

- Oh yeah?

Let's go to the park.

- Let's.

- The big green park full of big trees and plants...

that don't move.

- I'd love to.

- Okay, let's go in.

- Why not?

- Coming?

- I thought I was, but my feet have other ideas.

Hang on.

- What's going on?

- My body, it doesn't wanna go near plants.

- Really?

Then you're never gonna make it camping!

Oh, we've been looking forward to this trip all summer!

- Me too.

Maybe I just need the element of...surprise!

Okay, maybe we have a small problem.

- Hmm.

We need to go some place where there aren't any plants.

- [doorbell rings]

- The plants have turned on me.

- Excuse me?

- Hi, Clara.

Your place is plantless, right?

- Yeah, we're sort of minimalist chic, what's the problem?

- Ah!

- It's...that. - [glass shatters]

- Sorry.

- He's got a problem with nature.

- Oh, no!

Does this mean you're not going camping?

You won't get to see my new tent, it's so cute!

It's got just enough space for a bed...and a master bed,

and a bathroom, and a kitchen, and wheels to drive it around!

- That's a motorhome.

- I can't wait!

Repping it like the cave men, ugh, you have to be there!

- Then we need to help Pony somehow.

- Yeah.

Hey, I've got an idea!

It's called emersion therapy,

we did it when my dad developed a fear of luggage.

- So I just change the station real quick

to The Garden Network?

- And then change it back so fast he doesn't notice.

The next time, you'll wait a tiny bit longer,

he'll eventually get used to looking at plants

and won't be afraid anymore.

- Oh. - [glass shatters]

- Oh. - Sorry again.

[sighs]

Now what?

- Hypnosis?

- ♪

- Now then, repeat after me:

"I am not afraid of plants."

- You should be, they're dangerous.

- Plants are our friends,

they bring joy and beauty to the world.

- Plants want to hurt us,

they att*ck us when we least expect it.

- ♪

- Well, your pony is all better.

- Thank you, thank you! Our camping trip is back on.

- Ah!

- I wonder what got into her?

Ah!

Sorry, Annie, I don't think I'm getting any better,

and I really wanted to go camping with you.

- We're not giving up, we'll keep trying.

- Ah!

It's useless, you go,

you can tell me all about it when you get back.

Toast a marshmallow for me.

- No, if you're not going, I'm not going.

It's only fun if we're together.

Who needs nature?

We've got our own concrete jungle here!

Camping can wait till next year.

- ♪

- Maybe it doesn't have to.

If Annie can't go to the campground,

I'll bring the campground to Annie!

- Good plan!

- [pigeons cooing]

- [rooster crows]

- Pony?

- ♪

- [wind whistles]

- Morning, sleepy head,

welcome to Pony's plantless campground jamboree!

- Pony, this is amazing!

You did all this for me?

- Yes!

All of us are up here to make sure

you have the best-- - [wind blows]

- Oh, no! - Oh, no!

- Our tent, grab it!

Help me!

Phew, that was close.

- Ah! - Ahh!

- ♪

- So, how would you rate

your Pony's plantless campground experience?

- In a word, I'd say it was total--

Whoa, the botanical gardens.

Pony!

It's okay, you're safe.

Repeat after me: "everything is fine."

- Everything is fine.

- Mhm, and again.

Oh, no! - Everything is fine.

- Oh, it's okay, the building is curved,

we can slide down to safety, just look out for--eep!

- Eep, what's eep? Oh!

- Ah!

Whoa.

- ♪

- Now what?

- ♪

- Yep, of course.

Pony, help! - Ah!

- ♪

- Annie, hang on!

Ah!

- ♪

- Ah! I'll save you!

- ♪

- [moaning]

- ♪

- Uh-oh.

- ♪

- Pony!

- ♪- I'm coming, Annie!

- ♪

- Help!

- ♪

- Annie!

- ♪

- You're safe.

- And you're not afraid of plants anymore!

- I'm fine, plants don't wanna hurt me, plants can't hurt me!

- Pony!

- And next, we have a giant venus fly trap,

within it can be found a--

- Pony! [camera shutter snaps]

- [thud] - [sighs]

Another place we're banned from.

- This means we can go on the camping trip after all!

- I don't see how, everybody's tents are ruined.

- Not everyone's tent.

- ♪

- This is the life, I love connecting with nature.

- There's room in the hot tub.

- My turn!

Cannonball!

- Don't do it! - No!

- [splash]

- We need a new chaperone.

- ♪

- DAD: Pony, why would you ever, oh my God!

How could you?

Pony!

- What did you do?

- I'll tell you when you're older.

- Tell me now!

- You'll just get mad and throw lettuce at me like Dad did.

- So, it was something to do with lettuce?

So, something with Dad?

- What a pretty cloud up there.

- Pony, don't try to change the subject.

- [wind gusting] - Uh!

Burr, it's cold out here!

Let's go back in.

- We can never go back in, never!

Although Dad is going out in an hour,

so we can probably go back then.

- [sighs]

How are we gonna keep warm in the mean time?

- There's a little place I like to go to sometimes.

Oh, that's new.

- Maybe you go there too often. I think I know a place.

Oh, that's new.

- Maybe you go there too often.

- What did I do?

- Or, what did somebody else do with your library card

when he was hungry?

- You ate the books?

- Only the cookbooks.

- Now what?

- I know a place that'll let us in.

- ♪

- Really?

- It's a little drafty, but beats walking the streets!

- Will you please tell me what you did?

- Annie, Pony, check out my new trick!

- ♪

- Oh!

- ♪

- What should we do?

- I don't know, clap?

- BOTH: [clapping]

- Oh, stop.

I'm still working on it, okay?

What are you guys up to?

- Not much, we had to leave the house kinda suddenly,

so here we are.

- What happened?

- [indistinct whispering]

- Ew, is that even possible?

Maybe you should come live with me from now on.

- Might be best.

- [sighs]

What did you even do?

- [whispers] She's not taking it very well.

- You haven't even told me what it is!

- And look how you're acting.

- [shivering]

- You look freezing, Annie!

- I am.

- Here, you can borrow my coat,

I'm getting kinda hot anyway.

- ♪

- Looks new.

- It is, I got it for my birthday from my aunt.

- So it's brand-new and a gift?

- Yup, first time it's been worn.

It's very expensive, and very rare, one of a kind!

- ♪

- Heston, that's really nice of you,

but I don't think this is a good idea, I'd much rather you--

- Take good care of it! - What?

Don't leave me with this.

- HESTON: It's very important to me.

I love it more than life itself.

- I think he likes you.

- We both know how this will end.

- Marriage? - No, not if I wreck his coat.

And when I say I, I mean you.

- ♪

- Alright, I'm going to sit on this bench and do nothing,

so nothing will happen to it.

- Right.

- Sorry, Pony, you sit over on that bench,

at least give us a chance of returning it the way we got it.

- This one?

- Hm, better go to the next one.

- Ah, I love the park.

- ♪

- How long till we can go home?

- Dad said never.

So, another ten minutes maybe?

- This is where my watch would be if I had a watch.

- Okay, we're not moving from here for ten minutes,

until it's home time.

- Got it.

- No messing around!

- Got it.

- [splash] - [duck quacking]

- Pony!

- What?

- Hm.

- [splat splat]

- Ah!

- Hello there, birdie.

Oh, you brought a friend.

- [pigeons cooing]

- Oh, no. Pony, Pony, no!

- ♪

- Ah! Poop storm!

Ah, Heston's coat!

- Huh?

- Ah!

Phew, still clean.

Oh, that was close!

- Well, that was exciting.

What are you doing here?

- I've never been under this bush before.

- Pony, we can't be together,

being apart is the only way to protect this coat.

- Being apart didn't work.

- Hm, you're right.

I need more, I need a protective barrier.

- ♪

- This was a very good idea of yours.

The coat will definitely stay safe in there.

Definitely, definitely!

Hey, wanna play a game of tennis?

- Pony, those aren't yours, leave it.

- Oh, okay.

- [machine whirring]

- Oh!

- Ah!

- ♪

- Oh, ah!

- [panting]

We need to be further apart.

- How much further apart can we be?

- Why did Heston have to leave me with this stupid coat?

As long as Pony stays over th--

This coat needs to stay spotless,

so you better not even think about--ah!

- ♪

- [clanking sounds]

Just a coconut vendor, get a hold of yourself, Annie.

Oh, it's okay, it's okay.

- Look, a pony!

- Ah!

- No, Felix, that's a donkey in the petting zoo.

- ♪

- I can't take it anymore, he could be anywhere,

not knowing is too stressful.

- [sniffing]

Hi, Annie! - Ah!

- Parks are so relaxing, aren't they?

- No, no, nope, nope.

This is the opposite of relaxing.

I'd rather be cold than have this coat anymore.

It's too much responsibility to keep it clean!

- Let me hold it, I'm clean.

- You are not a clean animal.

- Hm, so we need a clean animal.

- No.

- I have a-- - No.

- Don't you wanna know the plan? - No.

- Aren't you even a little bit curious?

- [snorting]

- I knew this would happen.

- You knew this would happen?

- Well, not this exactly, because this is ridiculous!

- [snorts]

- Everybody knows pigs are very clean animals,

unless there's mud.

- There's tons of mud, Pony, tons of it!

Now get it back!

- You're starting to sound like Dad this morning.

- Pony!

- Yes, that's it!

Now throw some lettuce.

Fine.

Pig, hand it over. - [snorts]

- He says he's not giving it back,

he doesn't trust us with it, we're always ruining things.

- This is crazy,

a pig is wearing Heston's brand-new, one-of-a-kind coat!

How are we going to tell him that?

- Maybe by shouting.

Heston, Heston, Heston!

We put your best coat on a-- - No, get it back!

- Pig. - [snorts]

- We really need our coat back now.

- [snorts]

- Pig says no, he's cold.

- We have to give him his coat back.

- Okay, pig, if that's how it is,

I'll play you rock, paper, scissors for it.

That's a terrible idea!

- You can only do rock.

- But he can only do scissors.

Yes!

- [snorting]

- Yes!

There's Heston! Heston!

I did it, the coat survived, I can't believe it!

You threw your best at me, but I did it,

I kept the coat as good as new. - [fabric rips]

- ♪

- [fabric ripping] - [gasps]

- ♪

- [pigeons cooing] - [gasps]

- ♪

- Oh, the running club.

Oh, the bicycle club.

Oh, the motorcross club.

Oh, the dog sledding club.

Oh, the street sweeper club.

You were right. - [snorts]

- We are always ruining things.

- He's going to be so mad. - Yep.

- It's his own fault, he shouldn't have given it to me,

he knows what you're like!

- Hey, I didn't do this.

- I know, I know, I did.

Just helps if I can be mad at somebody else.

- You can be mad at me.

- You dumb pony, you let me mess up before you did.

- Hey, guys!

- Heston, let me explain, so--

- We ruined your coat. - Pony!

I was building up to telling him.

- Okay, you go.

- Well it's too late now!

- That's my brand-new coat?

- Yes. I'm really sorry,

I know you were counting on us to--

- Oh, thanks, guys, you couldn't have done a better job!

My aunt said I had to wear it everywhere,

and I really, really hate it.

- Wait, what now?

You wanted us to destroy it?

- If you want something done right, go to the experts.

- Hey, we're the experts!

I feel so...appreciated.

- I guess we are good at destroying things, aren't we?

- Oh, don't be modest, you're the best!

Well, better go tell my aunt!

- ♪

- What?

- ♪

- You see, Annie?

Everything works out in the end.

- Hm.

Glad I don't have to wear that horrible thing!

You were right, everything does work out in the end.

Let's go home.

- Home?

You think Dad's forgotten about, uh--

[indistinct whispering]

- We can never go home.
