Once upon a time,


Seymour the skateboard sat sadly on the sidewalk


Watching all the other skateboards whiz by.


All around him skateboards were playing,


Having fun doing tricks.


They were sliding down slippery rails,


Flipping through the air and landing on chubby red curbs.


Every time someone did a trick,


Lots of people cheered them on.


But seymour only watched,


'Cause he didn't know any tricks.


The other skateboards told seymour to give it a try.


He started by rolling towards a big ramp.


But at the last second, seymour got scared.


Instead of jumping off the ramp,


He fell into the bushes.


Seymour was ready to quit and roll home.


But the other skateboards told him...


"You can learn tricks at skate school."


Seymour was nervous.


But he followed the others to skate school,


Where he met the old school teacher.


Mr. Mcsqueeb


Taught seymour how to roll straight and fast.


He also showed him how to turn quick


And do tricks.


Seymour still fell sometimes.


But he was having so much fun learning at school


That he got up and kept trying.


Back at the skateboard park,


Seymour was proud to play and have fun


With all the other skateboards.


He even had enough courage


To try the big ramp again.


He flew through the air.


Everyone cheered.


"Great job, seymour."


Seymour was so happy he went to skate school.
