You're the foreperson, and it's

your duty to keep the jury in line.

Are you capable of doing that?

Yes, Your Honor.

Nikki, did you see this?

I caught a glimpse when

I walked in, but I did

I wouldn't have

Yeah.

You know those environmental

catastrophe films,

and then the tsunami comes

and destroys everything?

Well, that was my life.

It means "top secret."

For my eyes only.

It's called Lone Pine.

That's your girlfriend?

I mean, yeah, it's my

girlfriend, but who is that?

Who is that?

So there was a couple things

that I forgot to add to my video

that I made this morning.

It's so hard to remember 'em all.

I've actually been writing 'em down.

This is absolutely insane.

Margaritas, mar-margaritas!

Margaritas, mar-margaritas!

So yesterday we had a day off

and we had our hotel

bailiff contact Nikki,

and they let us plan a dinner

tonight at Margaritaville.

Hey! Ah! Ah!

- We haven't been, like, out.

- I know.

You know, both hotels altogether,

- so I think everybody could use some fun.

- Yep.

Y'all talkin' about Margaritaville?

Hmm?

It's I don't know.

It's a little fancy for my taste,

but I suppose I wouldn't mind knockin'

back a couple cans of cold ones.

- What is that?

- What are you doing?

What do you mean, what am

I doin'? What you doin'?

Okay, so that was Caleb. This is James.

So Caleb's my character in Lone Pine.

I'm starting to immerse

myself in the character.

He's a real, you know, he's, like a

He's a real everyman.

You know, salt of the earth,

just, you know, blue-collar worker.

- You?

- Yeah.

- Everyman?

- Yeah.

Yeah, ain't nobody gonna buy that.

You look like a jackass.

Well, I'm still working on it. That's

not what I'm gonna do on the day.

All right, guys, let's

go. The bus is here.

- What bus?

- What bus?

The bus that's taking

you on your field trip

to the Cinnamon & Sparrow factory today.

Nobody told you?

Are we still gonna make our dinner?

Nikki, how long does

this factory thing take?

Do you have any idea?

We gonna see when we get there.

There's a lot of pieces to the puzzle.

When is our reservation?

- Five o'clock.

- 5:00, I think.

We're going to be cutting it close.

If we ask questions, will that slow

it down or speed up the process?

It's gonna slow it down, but

damn, dude, if they're not

asking the right questions, how

can I make the right decision?

- That's what I'm saying.

- Come on.

Justice, bro.

Will be served.

That's it.

Oh, my God. That was beautiful.

What was that song about?

It's, uh, when someone lost his love.

Aw.

Then he starts singing

this, like, a sad song.

When I sing this, I

get in different world.

- It transports you.

- Yeah.

If I sing that song, I could

go to a place without betrayal?

You gotta teach Noah the song.

To him?

Yeah, 'cause his girlfriend's

standing with a hard guy.

Oh, yeah.

- I can teach you.

- Okay.

- Definitely.

- Okay.

Hi, folks. Come on in.

We're here today because

defense has requested

a view of the site of the incident.

Uh, so you'll be shown equipment.

You'll get to walk around

and see the factory.

Why do you think I

can't play an everyman?

Are you serious?

If you have any questions, I

want you to write them down.

We will collect them later.

Jean, the manager will give you a

tour where this incident happened

and explain the piece of equipment

or the pieces of equipment.

You will determine if what you see here

corroborates with what

the plaintiff has alleged

or corroborates what the

defendant has alleged.

You'll be free to look around.

Jean, if you would take us.

And everybody be careful.

Well, one thing Vanessa

doesn't really know about

is that Caleb works

in a factory, probably.

So, you know, there's

a lot to learn here.

Got a portable toilet.

Got this thing for pulling stuff.

Machines, you know, whirring

and clicking and clanking.

This is a gold mine. This

is Disneyland for everymen.

Go ahead, Jean. I'm sorry.

All right, so this is the

operator station, right?

This is an a*t*matic

screen printing press.

The way it works, you

have an operator here

that loads the shirts into pallets.

It gets printed, gets cured, comes

back here at the end of the cycle,

and then it goes through the CDU.

Okay. What is the CDU?

It's a sophisticated dryer.

The first shirts start coming out,

we can take them away for finishing.

You just have to be

careful about one thing.

If the CDU overheats,

there's gonna be a big warning

sign flashing on the screen.

That stops the production.

But you have to let it do its

thing. Never, ever override it.

That's about it. It's

not rocket science.

Okay.

There were leaky

barrels all around here,

filled with chemicals.

There were barrels there,

there were barrels there

- Okay, okay, just give me a second.

- There were barrels there.

Counsel.

Uh, my client sorry to interrupt.

My client's saying that

there's some discrepancies

with regard to the configuration

of things in here now.

Everything in here is different.

- Okay, okay, okay, okay.

- Who, whoa, whoa, whoa.

Tomorrow when we're back in

court, you'll have an opportunity.

I presume you're gonna put this

gentleman on the witness stand?

- Yes.

- Okay.

He'll have an opportunity to testify

if there's any

discrepancies or whatever.

Okay, folks, this concludes the tour.

If you have any questions,

you'll write them down,

you'll turn them in,

and in the meantime,

you can feel free to walk around

and take a look at the premises,

and then we'll reconvene here.

Okay? Thank you.

Yeah, the factory looked like a factory.

The factory did not look like a factory.

Look at this.

Get my detective on right quick.

They were definitely trying to

hide something or clean it up

to, you know, make it

look presentable for us.

Those rings on the floor where

it looked like barrels were moved

were directly behind where

Trevor would have been stationed.

- So, I mean, two feet away from him.

- Are you serious?

That's real dirt right there.

I heard him say too, he's

like, "There's a helper here."

So there's at least two people here,

but then there's the same person

running back and forth

right here, you know?

No, bro, there would have to be more

than two people. Like, yeah.

Now I'm looking for

impressions on the floor

of things that could have been moved.

Thank you.

See how it's very clean

down here at the bottom?

Yeah.

If he tries to claim

that this wasn't here,

I can see some validation

in the simple fact

- that looks like a new HVAC.

- Yeah.

I wonder what's upstairs.

My daddy worked on one of

these babies for 60 years.

Oh.

Hell, his daddy too.

Did you see that? Did you see

what he just did with his shoulder?

Yes, Caleb.

No, no, no, I'm James

right now. I'm James.

But did you see the way he moved it?

That was, like, with

real intention, you know?

Almost, like, unconscious.

There's gotta be a

real story behind that.

What are we looking at

in here? Just storage?

Damn. Something stinks in here. Ugh!

Oh, yeah, that's bad.

Oh, this is so freaking weird.

Dude, look at all these mannequins, bro.

I'd hate for one of

those to come to life.

Check this out.

What is it?

I don't know. There's no labels.

It's burning my nose.

And I bet you she moved

everything up here.

Bro, it's the T-shirts, dude.

Oh, the misprints?

Yeah, actually, here, let

me see that flashlight.

Look at how many boxes there are here.

- Look at that.

- Hold on.

- Misprint. Misprint. Misprint.

- Misprint. Misprint. Misprint.

- Look at all these, bro.

- I'm telling you, bro.

He probably did print 3,000.

I'm telling you. I'm telling you, bro.

What does this sh*t say? "Jorf"?

What does jorf mean?

That's probably just

whatever he input, bro.

Jorf. Jorf. Jorf.

It's too weird up here, bro.

Hi, guys.

Oh, no! No! God!

Whoa, whoa!

Sorry. Thanks. Sorry.

Bro, Todd, what the

What the heck, man?

Um, I was just looking at the mannequins

and seeing facts about

them that I could discern.

You scared the sh*t out of me, dude!

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.

Oh, that's so funny.

I was just looking around. Um, sorry.

- Hey, it's okay. Hey, Todd, it's okay.

- No, it's okay. No, yeah.

- It's chill. It's chill.

- Cool, cool, yeah.

- It's good. It's good to see you.

- It's good to see you guys.

Bro, you scared me. You scared me, dude.

Don't worry, bro.

That was funny, though.

You okay?

Oh, I'm good, except for the fact

that I seem to have soiled

my shirt, um, when I fell.

Um, sorry to, um,

interrupt. I just need, um

I don't like the sensation

of, um, being covered in goo.

Um, I was just wondering if

I can borrow your sweatshirt.

No, man, you can't borrow my sweatshirt.

Um, okay, I understand.

Is there another garment that I

could, um, wear for propriety's sake?

Just use these shirts, man.

I don't know about that.

The judge will be

angry with me, I think,

if I go bare-chested downstairs.

Then take the shirts, bro.

- Thank you so much.

- It's all good.

Um, fashion-wise, does it look okay?

What the is going on?

Okay, everybody here?

So I've reviewed your questions,

and here are Jean's answers.

"Is there a way to cool

the CDU from overheating?"

And the answer is, it just shuts down.

"Is there another computer

to put in the information?"

There is not.

"How much urine can a Cinnamon

& Sparrow shirt absorb?"

Is this a joke?

'Cause if it is, it's not funny.

"Was this where" I'm

pointing so you can all see me.

"Was this where the

defendant passed out?"

The answer is yes.

Okay, folks, we're done.

You can go on your way.

I was just thinking of a new question

as you were answering the questions.

Okay, go ahead.

Is there a secondary market for the CDU?

And, uh, to know how much that would be.

That's not relevant. No.

That's it, I think.

Your Honor, I'd like to ask

an additional question as well,

if you'd permit me.

- Okay, go ahead.

- Thank you.

My question also pertains to the CDU.

Um, I was wondering, if

the human body became wet,

uh, would there be any

equivalent of the CDU

whereby a body might become

dry by being inserted?

Todd, no! Stop it. Stop it.

I withdraw my question. Thank you.

Okay.

So let's count off. Ready?

We got one

This ain't that hard.

But where's X-Man at?

- I don't know.

- I don't know.

Looks like he went to

the bathroom, maybe.

Go get X-Man.

All right.

Go fast.

Yeah, I don't know what his plan was

because he couldn't legally

operate that forklift.

I mean, he doesn't work there.

He's not licensed to do it.

Maybe he just needed

the feel in the seat.

- Yeah.

- Hands on the wheel.

C'mon, they sent us in here for you.

I gotta punch out, dude.

Another day, another dollar.

I don't know what his plan was.

He was literally just kind of

sitting on the forklift, so

But again, I'm not an actor,

so I don't know what it takes.

- Yeah, who knows?

- Yeah.

All right, let's get some chow.

Listen up.

I called Margaritaville, and

they were able to move us to 6:00.

So we just gonna have to

see how traffic is, I guess.

I still haven't talked to Heidi.

I mean, she'll be back tonight, so

we have to be able to talk tonight.

- Yeah.

- Yeah.

- I'm sorry.

- It's okay.

I feel bad for him.

I feel bad too, but he's a bum

that got high and

messed up some T-shirts.

I don't know, because they said

that he threw out the misprint shirts.

But that's what we

found up in that room.

There were just boxes and

boxes of misprinted shirts.

- There was?

- Yeah.

There's a sh*t ton of them up there.

Todd's wearing one of them.

A very, very, very, very long bus ride.

We needed a night out, for sure.

- We needed a time as a group.

- As a group.

I'm gonna get the blackened salmon,

unless we can get an appetizer, in

which case I will have onion rings.

I'm sorry. Another large party came in

and I had to give them your table.

They're, like, almost done eating.

So, if you wouldn't mind, we could

seat you at the bar while you wait.

Y'all wanna hang at the bar?

Yeah, I think everybody.

Okay, yeah. Thanks.

Find a seat. Y'all remember.

- Arriba.

- Arriba.

Abajo.

Abajo.

Al centro.

Al centro.

Pa' dentro.

Pa' dentro.

- Salud.

- Salud.

Dip it in there.

- Yes.

- And then put your finger over it.

- Yes.

- Pull it up and then

- Ah, it's a very good idea.

- let it go.

- Yep.

- Okay, like this?

And then, yep, drain it in your mouth.

Boom, baby.

You figure out what you wanna eat?

Yeah, so there's, um,

there's a key of vegan stuff,

so it looks like I could do the,

um, they have the Beyond Burger.

So I'll probably just get that.

There you go.

I think we gotta wait to get

our table before we order food.

Yeah, I was just curious, 'cause

I was like, if they're gonna

be there for a while, can

we just order food here?

- Or is that

- No, but they're done eating.

No, we need to order at the table.

- Do you want

- Please?

Do you wanna do the talking?

Okay.

- Is that what you're trying to do?

- Just come with me.

- Do you know what you're gonna say to 'em?

- Yeah.

All right.

Hey, you signal me.

- If I need backup?

- If you need backup.

All right.

Okay, for sure.

Um

Hi, guys. How are you?

Happy Margaritaville.

Hi.

My friend wants to ask you something.

- Please, just do it for me.

- Oh, damn it.

So we are on a jury duty right now.

We got limited time here, and

so they're keeping us here.

They're not letting us order food,

though, until we sit at a table.

I guess this was the table. We

don't know how long you guys have.

Um, just curious.

Well, I think we're looking

at about another 15-20 minutes.

You know what? We might be an hour.

Sorry, not to pressure

you guys or anything,

it's just, you know.

Is this guy with you?

The guy in the jorf shirt?

Yes. Todd?

- What's his name?

- Todd. Todd?

- Todd?

- Do you wanna talk to him?

- Come here.

- Absolutely, yeah.

Why?

Oh, I like that shirt.

Seems like he could be one of

us and sit right at this table.

Hello.

- Hey, I like that shirt, man.

- Todd, they wanted to meet you.

- Oh, thank you so much. I appreciate it.

- That's a great shirt. What's your name?

- I'm Todd.

- Hi, Todd. I'm Steve.

- Hi, Steve. Nice to meet you.

- I like that shirt.

- Oh, thank you so much.

- You're one of us a real patriot.

Oh, thank you. I, uh, I

appreciate it. Thank you.

Look

I'm gonna get these people

out of here as quick as I can.

- Really?

- Yeah.

Thank you. Yeah, we appreciate it.

- Nice to meet you.

- Ohhh That's exactly what I needed.

- That's so sweet. Thank you.

- Hello.

Thanks.

Okay, guys, let's go.

- Bye.

- Bye.

- Good to meet you again, sir.

- Yeah, it was very nice to meet you.

Yeah. Goodbye.

What'd they say to you?

They said that they were just,

uh, they're, uh, patriotic.

Dude, I want you to know, that

shirt got us this table, so

I just want you to know

that you're the hero.

Oh, no, no, no. That's

all right. No, no, no.

Dude, I don't know. It was crazy.

I literally was talking

to the guy and he's like,

"Oh, like 15 minutes," you know?

"Yeah, thanks."

And then he's like, "Well,

that guy in that shirt,"

he's like, "Is he with

you?" I was like, "Yeah."

And he's like, "Oh, he looks

like one of our people."

He waved him over, introduced himself.

Just he liked Todd.

There you go, Todd. Here's to Todd.

- Oh, yeah.

- To Todd.

I'm your server, Samantha.

I'm happy to take care of you.

I did have some customers

complain about your shirt.

Oh.

And it's something very offensive.

No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean

to cause any trouble or

I didn't know what it meant.

Did they say what it meant?

Like, hold on. I'm gonna look it up.

Yeah, we don't have our

phones. We can't look it up.

I'm gonna look it up.

It says it's a secret

code for white supremacists

to identify each other.

- What?

- That's insane.

White supremacists.

Oh, my God. What does that tell you

about that table who was just here?

We have some we have some shirts.

- I'll go find a Hawaiian for you.

- Thank you. I'm so sorry.

- I'm sorry. Yeah. Uh

- Okay.

Dude, I'm gonna make a movie out

of the movie that's being made here.

This is insane.

Dude, there's so many crazy

things that keep happening.

Barbara, how's your drink?

I'm not feeling anything.

There's something wrong.

Dude, Heidi's back in LA tonight.

So, like, there's no more,

like, time difference.

I'd do it tonight.

Well, I gotta do it tonight.

Yeah, why don't you

just call her tonight?

Yeah.

How long have you been vegan?

- Um, since, uh, my whole life I was.

- Okay.

Ever since I stopped

breastfeeding, I was vegan, yeah.

How long did you breastfeed?

I think Nikki just asked the

bartender if he likes handcuffs.

I know my skin is, like,

almost the same as yours,

but believe it or not,

I'm a Black person.

Oh, yeah, no, I know, yeah, yeah.

- You knew? How do you know?

- Yeah.

Um, because you said before, I think.

I don't see vittles nowhere.

Is that, like, a separate menu or what?

Oh. What are vittles?

Oh

Honest food.

Where is Noah?

That was my third double

margarita. I don't feel anything.

I'm as sober as a judge.

Has he been ordering you a virgin?

I did a double, but it

didn't feel very strong.

Someone taste what's in Noah's drink.

Oh, wouldn't that be so funny

if Noah's getting drunk

and didn't know it?

Oh, he's gonna know it.

Hey, Todd, did you find Noah?

Dude

That's my double?

There is 100% alcohol in there.

He's had three doubles

and he doesn't drink?

Oh, my God.

- Noah, are you okay?

- Hey.

Yeah, I just had a crazy

conversation with my girlfriend.

Well, how'd you call her?

There's a phone in the kitchen.

What happened?

I just told her that the

Cody thing is bullshit.

Yeah!

I knew it.

He's drunk.

Yeah, I was like, "Why

are you taking a picture

with a guy with a boner on the beach?

Who is that guy?"

It was so weird. It's like

I just got this sudden

surge of, like, confidence.

All the stuff I never

would have said to Heidi,

I was like

I say it.

I don't know what

happened. It was crazy.

Noah, I tasted this while you

were gone, and I think you drank.

There's liquor in there.

No.

Yeah.

Let's give it up for Noah.

I did it, man. I did what you said.

I kinda I don't know

if I kinda blew it up.

Putting on those big boy pants!

Good job.

You gonna have some fun tonight.

Oh, boy.

Ah, I gotta go make dirty water.

Hello, all of y'all.

- All of y'all, no

- Your eyes are so intense.

So

Hey, right here. Right here.

I hope ev nah.

First of all

okay, you so you lit.

- Vanessa.

- She's drunk.

- Yeah, I can clearly see that.

- No. No, stop.

I can also clear

all y'all must be drunk.

Why?

Why is this bill over $1500?

- Wow.

- Holy sh*t.

Yeah, holy sh*t.

How much do we spend on lunch

every day in the courthouse?

Every day, what's y'all budget?

Fifteen minus a few zeroes.

I'm sitting over there

eating a lonely ass burger,

and y'all got wokacano nachos and sh*t.

This ain't funny.

I will arrest every last one of

y'all if this sh*t is not figured out.

It's not it's not funny.

Okay, I'll get my wallet out.

I didn't even bring my wallet.

I don't have any money.

Then why don't we just

have what's-his-name get it?

- Who?

- James.

- James.

- He got money.

Just ask him to pay. Come on,

Ronald. Like, y'all tight. Y'all talk.

You guys, he's coming, he's coming.

You ask him. He'll do it.

What's everybody looking at me for?

All right, James,

here's our predicament.

Bailiff Nikki is not happy at us.

Go ahead and take a look at

the damage that we've done.

Bailiff Nikki?

Yeah.

Holy sh*t.

Do I look like I have

that kind of money?

Yes.

I'm an ordinary dude.

Oh, my God.

All right, tell you what.

I'll pick up this bill

if someone beats me at arm-wrestlin'.

What ya think about that?

What? For reals?

Yeah.

Okay, real quick, Marsden here.

In Lone Pine, there's

a scene where Caleb

has to arm-wrestle the

sheriff to get key information.

No joke.

So one of us has to b*at

you at arm-wrestling?

I'll pick up the bill

if you put me down.

Who uses the gym?

Who wants it?

- Ronald's in the gym all day, every day.

- Damn it, Jeannie.

He works out every morning.

Yes! Come on! Ronald, you can

do it! You can do it! Come on!

Do it! Kick his ass!

Ronald! Ronald! Ronald!

Caleb! Caleb! Caleb!

Come on!

Anybody. Whoever. I don't give a

I gotta arm-wrestle James?

Come on! Come on!

Oh, my God.

You can do it! You can

do it! Come on! Come on!

Oh, my God.

Hey.

Let's do it, buddy.

Go, Ronald!

All right, I'll take it.

Good job, Ronald!

Yeah!

Oh, boy. I love jury duty.

To jury duty. How about that?

To jury duty.

I never thought I'd like it.

Power to the people.

Oh, my God, you guys.

What an amazing time.

This was absolutely one of my top

20 favorite nights at Margaritaville.

I didn't wanna say this

'cause it was kinda

it's kind of a big

plot point in Lone Pine,

but Caleb's actually

bad at arm-wrestling.

Spoiler alert.

I thought it was better to stay

true to the character than to,

you know, worry about whatever

couple grand I was losing.

I don't really even look

at my Amex statements.

You know, who cares?

Money's not important.

It's friendships!

- Yes.

- Right?

- Ain't that right?

- Freak yeah, dude!

I'm just happy everyone's

smiling and having a good time.

None of us are none of

us are absolutely shattered

and sick to our stomach,

so we're doing good.

Ew.

Guys, I feel so much better.

- All right, Noah!

- Go, Noah!

You're good.

On the next episode of Jury Duty.

I drank a bunch yesterday,

but not really on purpose.

And then, I don't know,

I might've kinda messed up

my life or something.

Pretty sure that I broke

up with Heidi yesterday.

Oh

I miss her so much.

I think he's better off.

We know how you feel, Jeannie.

His attorney took an interesting tactic.

Don't you think it would be

kinda irresponsible for anybody

to hire you to come and work for them?

Whoa, whoa.

Soaking would be where I just put it.

- Loopholes.

- Loophole. Exactly.

Who knows what's gonna

happen at this point?

Hey.

Uh, um

We saw James Marsden's giant sh*t.

It's the key to all of this.
