- Previously on Haven...

- The Troubles are
back, aren't they?

- In Haven, people have
the ability to do things.

- We found that in our newspaper
archives from 27 years ago.

- Who is she?
- I was hoping you could tell me.

- I know that picture, Colorado
Kid m*rder. She looks like you.

- Where's the
Colorado Kid buried?

- It's a very old
case, Agent Parker.

- No more lies!

All this time I have been
searching for my identity,

and you knew who I was?
- You were Lucy.

There's a lot we
don't understand.

- How you always look the same.

You have a new person's
memory each time you return.

- You always help the
Troubled when you do.

- This conversation is not over.

- You told her too much.
- She needs my help.

You're not getting
in my way this time.

- Somebody out there
with a tattoo wants to k*ll me.

- What happened to
honour amongst thieves?

No!

Your father, I think
he was looking for me.

"It's up to you to finish
my work. You must k*ll her."

Why did he want you to k*ll me?

You seriously can't feel pain?
- No.

- What's wrong?
- I can feel you.

- How long have you known?
- A while.

- Are you in love?
- I don't know what it is.

- Well, stop. You two can't be in love,
she's just too important to this town.

You have got to keep
her alive, understand me?

- Nathan, you're early.

- Parker?

Duke, what did you do with her?
- Audrey's missing?

I swear I didn't
do anything to her.

- Five seconds.

Four...

- If I was gonna hurt Audrey...
- Three...

- I would have
been waiting for you.

- I'm done counting.

- Okay, all right. Wait.

Just wait.

- Upside of not
being able to feel...

I can do this all day.

Are you doing this?

- No.

- You just punched
me across the room.

- Yes, that's true.

But my thing is
different, Nathan.

When the blood of a
Troubled person touches me,

I can feel it, there's a surge.

I get stronger.

But this...

This?

Not me.

- Where is Audrey?

- I told you, man, I don't know.

I wish I did.

- I'm going to ask
you one more time.

Where's the Colorado Kid?

- Go to hell.

- What the hell
is going on, man?

You show up with
that thing on your arm.

What is that supposed to mean?

- If you're supposed to die

at the hands of
somebody with this tattoo,

I need to be on
the approved list.

- Nathan, I am not the enemy.

- Your father, your grandfather,
his father before that,

they all k*lled Troubled
people to wipe out their curses.

You don't think any of
them had any doubts?

You just think you're special?

- I'm gonna go with special.

Nathan...

Whoever took Audrey,

they planted that
whistle in her apartment,

so you would find it
and come after me.

They want us to k*ll each other.
We are playing right into their hands.

I'm not my father.

- What was that?
- I don't know.

I don't know. I mean,
I was just driving by.

- It's about time
somebody got here.

Can you help me? The thing literally
fell out of the sky onto the truck.

Wham. And I'm supposed to
see that guy making the turn?

I thought it was
the end of the world.

- Third one of these
we've blown in three years.

You'd think now they
might retrofit the pipes.

I say it all the time:

Town's only as strong
as its infrastructure.

People don't listen.

Nathan. What
happened to your face?

- Ran into a door.

- Was that
intentionally hostile?

- Last time I saw you, you
were throwing me off a boat.

- If memory serves, you were... you
were being a bad boy too that day.

- I guess I haven't learned my lesson.
- Guess you haven't learned your lesson.

- Enough.
- What?

- Parker's missing. Someone
took her from her apartment.

- Nathan...

- I need you to get a
handle on whatever this was.

Last thing I need
with Audrey missing

is somebody's Trouble
sending people into a panic.

- Looks like it was some
kind of magnetic force.

Followed a line from
the harbour to here,

picked up everything up to
a couple hundred pounds.

I'm blaming it on the gas line.
- Good. Handle it.

Duke.

- Guy threw a manhole cover
at me. Okay? I'm just saying.

- Stan, is the APB out?
- Yeah, but...

- I know you got a lot of calls
coming, but Audrey's a priority.

- Nathan, another woman was
abducted out by the Altair Bay Inn.

Maybe it's connected to Audrey.

- We couldn't do
this over the phone?

- I don't think so.
Audrey's missing.

She was taken by someone.

- What? Who?

- Do you think Dave
could be involved?

- Well, I don't know.

He and I are getting

very close to the edge
of things these days.

- Vince?

- That's odd.

Oh, my.

- Let me do the talking.

- Are you the police?

- Chief Wuornos, Haven
PD. Wesley Toomey?

- They took my mother, Roslyn.

Come inside. There
isn't much time.

We're closed until mid-spring,

but Mom likes to come
in and dust once a month.

I was supposed to meet her.

- Your family owns the inn?

- She inherited it
from my grandfather.

- Sure she didn't just get the time wrong
and go for a walk, something like that?

- Boating accident took
her leg about five years ago.

She doesn't do walks anymore.

I want you to know, the
scene is exactly how I found it.

Nothing's been compromised.

Back here.

- You find blood in
Audrey's apartment?

- No.

- What are you talking about?

- There was another
disappearance about two hours ago.

Where were you
before you came here?

- I was at home.

That doesn't matter,
I know who did this.

- Who?
- Aliens.

- You think that aliens
abducted your mother?

- All you have to do
is look at the blood.

She lost consciousness here,

after they inserted
the nasal probe.

- Really?

- Then they dragged
her through this door.

Feet first, facedown,
which is standard.

- Standard?

- We don't have time for this.
- Just go with it.

- Then it was up and away.

They usually use a
lightweight shuttle-type craft.

They're softening us up.

- Softening us up. For what?

- They're coming.

- The mother ship.

- We can't do anything about my
mom or anybody else they took.

But there is still a chance
that we can stop them.

That's why I called you out here.
If I told you this story on the phone,

nobody would believe me.

- Plus they could
be listening. I mean...

we probably shouldn't
be talking here.

No. See, if we want to strategize,
we should probably do this

back at the station,
where it's more secure.

- But there's no time. I
have to go back home.

I have to calibrate the monitoring equip...
- Hey.

Do you think your setup
is better than Haven PD's?

Tell him, Nathan.

- We just upgraded.

- Let me go lock up.

- Okay. Right.

Relax. Okay, look.

I've dealt with crazies
like this out at sea.

He just needs to feel
like we're on his side.

- Well, he may have
offed his mother, Duke.

- Yeah, I don't really
care about his mother,

but I care if he knows
something about Audrey.

He just...

He needs to feel like we trust
him if he's gonna trust us. Okay?

- Okay, but this
can't go on forever.

Okay, I was wrong.

- Ask yourself if this
is how you want to die,

because I'm starting
to lose my patience.

Where is he?

- I already told you.

He d*ed 27 years ago.

I...

I didn't know him,
I never met him.

I just saw a picture, that's it.

- You're lying.
- Listen. You don't understand.

There was this other woman,
and she looked like me,

and she must have known him.

- You think I don't know you
two are the same person?

- What?

- Stop playing games with me.

- Who are you?

- Somebody who
deserves to be told the truth.

You stand there so
smug and possessive.

You think you're the only one
who loved the Colorado Kid?

Suspect's name is Wesley Toomey.

He's unstable, should
be considered dangerous.

We're in pursuit, heading
north on State Road.

He's gotta be
just over the crest.

- What are you doing?

You're letting him get away.
He's our only link to Audrey.

What's going on? Why
are you slowing down?

- I'm not. The engine just d*ed.

- Oh, you gotta be kidding me.

- Dead.

- Phones are dead too.

What the hell is going on?

- Damn it.

Come on, Parker. Where are you?

Hello? Is someone there?

Please, I know you're
there. Please, talk to me.

- Where are you?
- Oh, thank God.

I think I'm on the other
side of the wall from you.

- Are you hurt?

- These ropes are cutting
into my wrists. I'm scared.

I don't want to die like this.

- Nobody's gonna die here, okay?

What's your name?

- It's Roslyn.

- Roslyn, I'm Audrey.

All right? I'm a police officer.

So we're gonna get you
out of here, I promise.

- How?

- I don't know, but you
need to not panic. All right?

We're gonna just keep talking,
and we're gonna figure this out.

- Okay.

Just promise me I can trust you.

- Listen, I'm tied up too, okay?

I promise.

He's been asking me
information about the Colorado Kid.

Did he ask you about him too?

Maybe we're here
for the same reason.

- Yes, I-I told him

the Colorado Kid was a
guest here, but years ago.

- Here?

- At the Altair Bay Inn.

I'm the owner.
That's where we are.

- Okay, try it.

- It's not an engine
problem, Nathan.

- Can't say that yet.

- Okay, then how do you
explain the phones, all right?

This is something else.

- Yeah, maybe it's aliens.
Maybe Wesley was right.

- Yeah, maybe it is aliens.

I mean, would that be the weirdest
thing that ever happened in Haven?

- Just try it again.

- Okay, maybe it's not aliens.

Maybe it's someone's Trouble.

But I am telling you it is
not an engine problem!

- Go back and try it again.

- Nathan, you can't fix this.

Listen to me. Hey!

- You've been telling me what
I can't do since we were kids.

Now Audrey's missing, we're
stuck in the middle of nowhere!

Do not tell me I can't
fix this! I'm gonna fix this.

- This is not helping!

Will you please stop
acting like a lovesick child?

- What?
- You are in love with Audrey.

What, did you think
that was a secret?

- You don't know what
you're talking about.

- No, I do. I understand
how you feel.

- No, you don't
understand anything.

- No, I understand
that if you...

- When Audrey
touches me, I can feel it.

She's the only one I can feel.

- What?

- She's the only one.

- Nathan! Nathan!

Nathan!

Nathan!

Nathan. You okay?

- Yeah, I think so.

What the hell was that?

- You may want to reconsider
your stance on aliens.

Looks like we're standing
in some kind of crop circle.

- The power's back on.
- The truck should be working.

Then there's that.

- Roslyn, are you okay?

- Oh, my God, what was that?

- I don't know.

But whatever it was, it
didn't miss us by much.

Great.

- Audrey, what's happening?

- Uh, there's a fire.

It's out.

- Oh, thank God.

Where do you think
Wesley was going?

I don't know. Let's
track the meteor.

I think it landed near the inn.

And there's his bike.

So that thing fell at Wesley's
house. It's quite a coincidence.

- No, no, no, no, no!

Please, don't! You don't get it!

But I need to get my equipment.

- You can't be in there.
- You don't understand!

What are you...
What are you doing?

- What the hell makes
a crater like that?

- A geo probe.

They're in their final stages.

- Could have been
debris from a satellite.

It doesn't have to be big.
- Good.

Might wanna tell
the looky-loos that,

so they don't think the
world's about to end.

- What do you think is gonna happen
if I don't disrupt their nav system?

What's wrong with you?!
You want us all to die?!

- A few clubs short
of a full set, huh?

- Yeah.

Be nice to have a better
theory than his though.

- Maybe he's Troubled.

- Did you ever come up with something
for that magnetic incident in town?

- No. You think there's a connection?
- Looks like it.

The power loss,
this, crop circle.

- Crop circle?

- Nathan.

Any word on Audrey?

- No.

All this running around I'm doing, I
don't know if I'm getting any closer.

- She's the toughest
person I know.

- Hey, you guys
want to see this.

- Where the hell have you been?

- There have been some
incidents that need managing,

if you haven't noticed.

- What about Audrey's
disappearance?

Are you managing that too?

- Don't let your imagination
get the best of you.

- Take a look at this.

Look familiar?

- It's identical to what
happened outside.

- Here's another good one.

"Mysterious force drags
officer into crop circle.

"Sioux City officer Alvin Hills

"never saw what grabbed him
by the ankles and dragged him

into a cornfield late
Tuesday afternoon."

Everything that's happening
now has happened before.

- Or maybe Wesley
just thinks it's happened.

I mean, these aren't
legitimate magazines,

this is conspiracy-theory trash.
- Might not matter.

- No, if the boy's Troubled,

what counts is
what's real in his mind.

- So Wesley's obsessed
over these stories,

and now he's reproducing them.

Could've been triggered
by his mom's disappearance.

- There's something
here you should see.

Everything on this wall
happened here today,

except for two articles.

"Lights over Portland,"
"Aliens level hillside enclave."

- Okay, the lights
part sounds fine,

but the last part... that
actually sounds bad.

- South Dakota.

Probably happened
after a tornado.

Unless you subscribed
to this magazine,

in which case it was
blast from a UFO.

- Wesley's mother ship.

He keeps saying it's coming.

- Coming where?

This wiped out a
small neighbourhood.

So does Wesley's version
happen here? The harbour?

- No, given our luck,
it'll just be all of Haven.

- Ow!

- Are you okay?

- I can do this.

Just wish I was
Nathan right now.

- Who's Nathan?

- He's my partner.

He's a...

little bit better
with pain than I am.

- Talk to me.

I-I feel like I
talked your ear off.

Tell me about
yourself. It helps.

- No, I should spare
you my problems.

You'll be better off.

- Oh, gosh, sweetie.

How bad can it be?
- Well, for starters...

the only real memories
I have of my own life

are from the past six months,

which is complicated,
and it's inconvenient.

But it's not an
impossible way to live

unless someone...

Unless someone tells me
something new about my life,

which always seems to
turn my world upside-down.

I guess that doesn't
make any sense, does it?

Roslyn?

Hello?

- Shh. I think he's coming.

What do you want?

No. No!

Where are you taking me?

- Roslyn?

- Don't hurt me!
You're hurting me!

No!
- I'll tell you what you want to know.

I'll tell you about
the Colorado Kid!

Roslyn?

- You're not going anywhere until
you tell us what we need to know.

- I don't know where it's going
to happen. I just know that it will.

- And that's the
problem, crazy man.

- Right, because I'm
creating all this with my mind.

The Troubles are a myth.

This is real. This is science.

My grandfather spent years

teaching me about it
before they took him.

- They?

Your grandfather was
abducted by aliens?

- When I was a kid. Right
in the front yard of the inn.

- Nathan...

- Lights in the sky.

- These incidents
seem to be following him.

- They may just be following
the ideas he has in his head,

locations that
are familiar to him.

- I can start evacuating
houses around here.

- That's it? I mean,
that's your plan?

You're just gonna
let this happen?

No, we're taking precautions.

Wuornos.

- Nathan...
- Audrey? Where are you? Are you okay?

- A man took me.

- What man?
- He has Roslyn.

I've gotta find her.
- Wait, who?

- Roslyn. She's
the owner of the inn.

She was with me.
- With you where?

Parker, we have her son. He needs
to see her. This could stop his Trouble.

Where are you?
- I'm at the Altair Bay Inn.

Nathan, someone's here.

- Parker?

Audrey?

Audrey!

- Nathan, what?

- She's at the inn.

- It's just up the road.

- Shh! Shh!

Audrey, it's me. It's me.

Are you okay?
- Yeah.

- Audrey.

You okay?

- Nathan, he's still here.
I've heard him moving around,

and I didn't hear a car leave;
I'm pretty sure that he has Roslyn.

- Slow down.

- And I promised her that
nothing would happen to her.

You have no idea what
we went through down there.

- No, I don't. I'm sorry.

But we have a situation.

This is Wesley, he's Roslyn's
son, and he's Troubled.

- How can you stand in
front of her and say that?

Look at her. She was taken too.

- Not by aliens.
- Aliens?

- Wesley thinks his mother
was abducted by aliens

and they're preparing to destroy Haven.
- Because it's happening.

- Is that the
expl*si*n that I heard?

- Yeah, that was part of it.

- And it's about to
get a whole lot worse.

- Roslyn couldn't have
been taken by aliens

because she was taken by
the same man who took me.

- Do you hear that, Wesley?
- You think it was a man?

What did he look like?

- I... I never saw...

I never saw his face.

- Exactly.

- Nathan.

You smell something?

- Wesley.
- No.

No, no, no, no!

That's my mom! That's my mother!

- Wesley, hey.
You don't know that.

- The bones...
The prosthetic leg.

That's my mother!
- You can't do anything!

You can't do anything.

I'm sorry.

- Wesley, you
know the truth now.

Aliens didn't take your mother.

- But I promise you, we're
gonna find out who did.

- They didn't keep my mother.

- What are you talking about?

- This is what they do with
the bodies they can't harvest.

They burn them. It's why
there are so few real accounts.

- No, Wesley, it's horrible what happened
to your mom, but this is not aliens.

- My grandfather showed
me the photographs.

- Wesley, do not do this!

What the hell is that?

- They're here.

- Are you sure this plan
is gonna work, Wesley?

- It was my grandfather's.

It's a... it's pretty ancient,
so keep your fingers crossed.

Old ironsides.

Okay, okay.

So if I can find it, I can...

I can disrupt their
navigational frequency.

- Which means what?

- The mother ship might
move before releasing the blast.

If only temporarily.

- Possible this works?

- It's his Trouble, so
he makes it possible.

It's the "temporarily"
part I don't like.

- Okay, freak fighters,
what are we doing here?

- We're working it out.

Sure you're up to this?

- He just saw his
mother burnt to a crisp.

I think I can manage.

Wesley.

You've... you studied all of
this for years, haven't you?

- Since I was a kid, yeah.
- Because you wanted to understand

the truth of what happened
to your grandfather.

- Which now I do.

- And then these people show up and
tell you something completely different.

And that's gotta be hard to hear, right?
- Because it isn't the truth.

- Or maybe because it's scary.

Maybe thinking that everything
that you thought you were,

you really aren't.

Wesley, the Troubles
are real, all right?

I've seen it before.
You're doing this.

- Okay, we need to
do something right now.

- We are doing something.

If you want to take off, now's the time.
- I am not leaving.

But it is like freaking w*r
of the Worlds out there.

If we don't act now,
we're all gonna die.

- So what do you want
to do? Save us your way?

k*ll him?

- Wesley, you're one of the lucky
ones. You can stop your Trouble.

All you have to do is
open yourself up to the truth

that none of this
may really exist.

- You can't just erase what
has been a part of my life,

part of my family, since I
was... since I can remember.

- Family.

Wesley, your grandfather
disappeared in 1983?

- Yeah.
- That was the last time

the Troubles were here. Wesley's
grandfather probably had the same Trouble.

- So?

- So he made it through without
destroying the whole town.

Maybe he decided to
leave to save the town.

Your grandfather couldn't
make the aliens go away,

but he realized maybe he
could finally learn the truth.

- That's why he went with them.

You think he's still up there?

- Maybe.

- Maybe he's waiting for me.

- Hey, Nathan.

Explain to me the difference
between k*lling a man

and convincing him
to crawl up his own ass,

because I'm at a loss.

- Wesley chose to
walk into that light.

- Aw, come on, you
didn't nudge him a little?

I mean, you said he was crazy.

- Well, what did you say?

"Why not aliens?"

So maybe he's not dead.

Maybe he comes back
after the Troubles are over

with some good stories.

- Whatever helps you
sleep at night, chief.

- Actually the only
thing that bothers me

is that you wanted to
k*ll him in the first place.

- No, don't turn this around, Nathan.
- I saw it on your face, Duke.

You can tell the world that
you're not like your father.

When the chips are
down, you are what you are.

- You're a hypocrite, Nathan.

- Is Duke okay?

- He's fine.

Someone should be
taking care of you right now.

- That guy knew that I was Lucy.

He expected me to
remember things about her life,

events and people...

Feelings.

He said that I...

- That you what?

- That I know...

the Colorado Kid.

And according to
this guy, he's still alive.

Think about that.

- I can't imagine what you
went through down there.

I don't want you to let anything
he said turn you inside out.

- Oh, Audrey.

Thank God you're all right.

If there's anything I
can do at all to help...

- You can answer my questions. Or is
that gonna be a problem again for you two?

- Parker.
- What do you want to know?

- Guys, please. Now
is not the time, okay?

- No, was Lucy Ripley in
love with the Colorado Kid?

- We don't know.

- I was abducted, I was tied up

and beaten up by a man who
knows me better than I know myself.

So don't just stand there
and act like you're clueless.

No, Nathan, don't!

Is the Colorado Kid still alive?

- No.

I helped bury him myself.
Plot 301 in Potter's field.

- Let me take you home.

- I need to see what's in that grave.
- Tomorrow, Parker.

- I'm prepared to
put our issues aside.

The man who kidnapped
Audrey is out there,

and we have to
figure out who it is.

- And how he knows so damn much.

- Sure you know what
you're doing with that thing?

- Protecting Audrey.

- From Duke?
- If necessary.

- Make sure you
protect yourself too.

The people with that
mark... they're not all good.

- No, I'm not questioning
your forensic work, Frank.

I'm simply asking
about the margin of error.

Yeah, okay, but I was
literally talking to Roslyn

an hour before
we found her body.

There is no way that she
was in that fire for four hours.

Uh-huh, okay.

Okay.

Okay, well, can you just
check it again, please?

Thank you. I gotta go.

- What?

- Somebody must
have moved the body.

- Maybe there was
never a body to begin with.

- Which means the Colorado
Kid could still be alive.

- Oh, he's not alive.

- Well, he's not here.

- There's something else.

"Find him before the Hunter."

- Who's the Hunter?

- And who the hell wrote it?

- I did.

That's my handwriting.
