¡Hola!

I'm Diego.

Today my cousin Dora the Explorer

is visiting the Animal Rescue Center.

There she is!

Hi, Dora!

Hi, Diego!

¡Hola!

Who are these little guys?

I was out exploring

and I found these two lost bears!

( both growl softly )

Hey, those are spectacled bears!

Can you say "spectacled"?

Say, "spectacled bears"!

Good!

Let's ( imitating growl ) to the spectacled bears to say hello.

Say, ( growling ).

You sound just like a spectacled bear!

Their names are Chito and Rita.

They speak Spanish and English like you and me!

¡Hola!

Hi!

DIEGO: Check out their eyes, Dora.

DORA: Yeah, spectacled bears have circles

around their eyes that look like glasses.

Put your fingers around your eyes and make glasses!

Now, we all look like spectacled bears!

( all laughing )

Chito wants to climb the tree.

Spectacled bears love to climb.

Hug! Hug!

And they love to hug!

Spectacled bears are so cute!

You know what else?

Spectacled bears sleep in nests

up in trees-- just like birds!

But Chito and Rita are sad,

because their tree fell down.

They don't have a nest anymore.

No nest. No nest.

Aw!

We need to find Chito and Rita a new home.

Will you help us find a new home

for the spectacled bears?

But Diego, where do spectacled bears live?

Let's find out!

What can we use to find out more about animals?

The Field Journal!

We can use the Field Journal

to help us find out where spectacled bears live.

DORA: There are many kinds of bears.

DIEGO: This one is a panda bear.

It lives in bamboo forests.

What kind of bear is this?

A polar bear, right.

It lives in the Arctic Circle.

Look-- here's a spectacled bear!

( bears exclaim )

Let me see.

¡Míra!

DORA: Can the Field Journal tell us

where spectacled bears live, Diego?

DIEGO: Sure it can!

Do you see what these are?

DORA: Clouds!

CHITO AND RITA: Clouds!
