Mommy Maned Wolf came to the rescue center

to have her wolf pups.

How's Mommy Maned Wolf doing?

Mommy Maned Wolf, this is my cousin, Dora.

Hi, nice to meet you.

Your little wolf pups are so cute.

And there are so many of them.

Maned wolves can have up to five pups at a time.

Let's count the maned wolf pups.

But I have five pups!

Oh, no!

My littlest pup is missing, and it's time for his feeding.

We need to save the baby maned wolf

and bring him back to his mommy.

Whoa, that's a big river.

But which way did the baby maned wolf go?

We can use my spotting scope

to look for the maned wolf footprints.

We need to get down the river to follow those wolf prints.

We've got to save him.

But it's so hard to paddle.

The river otter is stuck in the whirlpool,

and his paw is caught in a net.

We've got to rescue him.

Help me throw the life preserver to him.

DORA: We've got to get there fast

before Baby Maned Wolf gets hurt.

I know. We can run fast

like maned wolves to get there quick.

We need your help.

Help us run by singing the Spanish word "corre."

And I don't hear him, either.

Hey, maned wolves have big ears to help them hear really well.

Let's use our maned wolf ears to listen.

Cup your hands to your ears

to listen for the baby maned wolf.

If you hear a maned wolf, say "maned wolf."

MANED WOLF: A-woof, a-woof.

BOTH: Maned wolf.

Let's call to the baby maned wolf to tell him we're here.

He sounds like he's right over these bushes.

I can't see him.

Maned wolves' long legs make them tall enough

to see over the tall grass.

We've got to stand on our long legs to see over these bushes.

Now, stretch up high on your long legs.

Higher, higher, higher.

There he is.

DORA: And he's headed for that sharp, prickly bush.

DIEGO: Say "stop, Baby Maned Wolf."

DORA: He stopped.

Good animal rescuing.

Come on.

Hello, Baby Maned Wolf.

Hi there.

Aw, he's so shy.

I got lost.

We know, Baby Maned Wolf.

But don't worry, you're safe now.

We're so happy we found you.

Thanks for rescuing me.

Now I really want to see

my mommy and brothers and sisters.

Let's call Alicia

to tell her we found the baby maned wolf.

Alicia, we rescued the baby maned wolf.

Bring him back to the rescue center.
