Hola.I'm Diego.

And this is my sister Alicia,

my sister Daisy, who's home from college,

and myPapi.

ALL: Hola.

Today is Mother's Day.

El Dia de las Madres.

And we make special surprise breakfasts for ourmami.

We've got to surprise her.

When you see ourmami, say, "Happy Mother's Day!"

We made you a special breakfast.

Look at all this yummy food!i¡Que rico!

Gracias, mijos.

There are lots of animals at the rescue center

celebrating Mother's Day, too.

Let's find the babies for their mommies.

Here's Mommy Macaw.

Do you see her baby birds?

Yeah! There they are.

Here's Kyra the Crocodile.

Do you see her baby crocodiles?

You found them!

Hey, that sounds like the Bobo Brothers.

Those silly monkeys are always getting into trouble.

Do you see the Bobos?

[Bobos laughing]

Yeah. There are those silly monkeys.

BOTH: Diego, what's going on?

It's Mother's Day, Bobos.

BOTH: Uh-oh! We forgot.

We left really early this morning,

and our mommy was still asleep.

We don't want our mommy to wake up

without us there for Mother's Day.

Bobos, we can use my special camera, Click,

to check if your mommy's still asleep.

Come on!

can help us find the Bobos' mommy.

We need to find the Bobos' mommy to see if she's still asleep.

The Bobos are spider monkeys.

They live in the rain forest.

Let's zoom through the rain forest

and look for a sleeping spider monkey.

Is this a sleeping spider monkey?

No. That's a pygmy marmoset, and she's awake.

Let's keep looking.

Is this a sleeping spider monkey?

[howls]

No. That's a howler monkey, and she's awake, too.

Let's keep looking for the sleeping spider monkey.

Is this a sleeping spider monkey?

Yes! That's it!

To take a picture of the spider monkey,

say, "Click!"

Got it!

Now you tell Diego you found a spider monkey.

What did you find?

A spider monkey!

Is she asleep or awake?

Asleep. That's good.

Look, Bobos, your mommy is asleep.

You can still get home to your mommy

before she wakes up for Mother's Day.

But, but, but...

We don't have a present for our mommy!

Well, Bobos, what do you think

your mommy would like for Mother's Day?

She'd like us to be good.

Very, very good.

And not to get into any...

BOTH: ...trouble!

Bobos, that's a great present.

You better hurry home.

And make sure you don't get

into any trouble along the way.

Oh, come with us, Diego,por favor.

You can help us be good all the way home.

The Bobos need us to take them home

to their mommy for Mother's Day, before she wakes up.

Uh-oh! That sounds like red-eyed tree frogs.

Do you see the red-eyed tree frogs?

Yeah, there they are.

Tree frogs, what happened?

BOTH: It's Mother's Day,

but we can't get the pretty purple flower for our mommy.

♪ We were climbing up the tree, we were climbing up the tree ♪

♪ To get a flower for our mommy. ♪

BOTH: And then we got stuck.

BOBOS: Diego, this morning we were here.

We saw a drop of gooey goo,

but when we opened the hole...

...the gooey goo came pouring out,

and we couldn't stop it.

DIEGO: So that's how the tree frogs got stuck in the goo.

BOBOS: Sorry.

The Bobos didn't mean to get you stuck in the goo.

We better get you out.

♪ Thanks, Diego, thanks, Diego, ruk, ruk, ruk. ♪

MOTHER: ♪ Little tree frogs, little tree frogs, ruk, ruk, ruk. ♪

TREE FROGS: Uh-oh, that's our mommy.

We need the flower for her.

The tree frogs need the flower for their Mother's Day present.

BOBOS: Can we help, Diego? Can we, can we?

Sure, Bobos.

Spider monkeys can climb up trees super fast.

Yeah, we can get the flower...

...before your mommy gets here.

BOTH: Hey, we don't see the flower.

Do you see the purple flower?

Yeah, the flower is way up in the tree.

The Bobos can climb the tree,

but we've got to tell them to go up.

In English, we say "up." In Spanish, we say"arriba."

Say"arriba."

To tell them to go higher, say"más arriba."

They need to go even higher.

Say,"mucho más arriba."

BOBOS: Here's the flower.

It's Mother's Day,

but I don't have my present for my mommy.

I had a basket of ten rainbow nuts for her,

but then they fell and bumped me on the head.

BOBOS: Uh-oh!

Diego, this morning we were here.

We saw the nuts and started to juggle them.

We didn't mean to drop them.

BOTH: Sorry.

I'll never find my rainbow nuts now.

I'm too slow and it's hard

for me to grab the nuts.

Bobos, we have to help Sammy find his ten rainbow nuts.

BOBOS: We can help! We can help!

Our hands are good at grabbing and we're really, really fast.

Great, Bobos.

The Bobos can grab the nuts,

but first, we've got to make sure we find all ten of them.

when, suddenly, it started, raining banana peels.

Isn't that weird, Diego?

BOBOS: Uh, Diego, this morning, we were here.

We ate a lot of bananas...

...and threw the peels over our shoulders.

We didn't know you were there, Baby Jaguar.

Sorry.

Bobos, now we have to clean up the banana peels

so Baby Jaguar can get to his mommy.

Diego, the peels are too slippery to walk on.

Mreow, mreow!

I have an idea.

My field journal says spider monkeys can hang

from trees with their strong tails.

The Bobos can hang down from that tree,

so they can clean up the banana peels.

BOBOS: We can do it, we can do it.

Help the Bobos clean up the banana peels.

Say "clean-up time."

Again: Cleanup time.

I'm not slipping and sliding anymore.

Mreow, mreow.

Good work, Bobos.

Better put the peels in a compost garbage box

so no one slips on them again.

Diego, want to see my present for my mama for Mother's Day?

Sure, Baby Jaguar.

I scratched out this picture

for my mama's present.

Baby Jaguar...!

Mama! Mama!

We've got to go across the mud to go home.

Look, Bobos, monkey bars.

Spider monkeys are really good at swinging.

We can swing across the monkey bars to get over the mud.

We've never swung on monkey bars before.

Can you believe it?

Don't worry, Bobos, we'll swing with you

and make sure you don't get muddy.

We've got to swing on the monkey bars with the Bobos.

Put your arms up in the air.

Now swing them back and forth, like a monkey.

Keep swinging.
