Hola. Soy diego.

Today, I'm in the grasslands of africa

With a really big animal.

Do you know what this big animal is?

A hippopotamus!

Yeah.

- We get hotter...

And hotter...

And hotter...

Until we...

- Poor hippopotamus.

Yeah, those elephants at the watering hole.

Let's call to the elephants.

Yell, "elephants."

Will you fill hippopotamus' hole with water

So he can cool off?

[Trumpeting sound]

Hippopotamuses like to sit in water

All the way up to their eyes and noses,

Way up on their heads, like this.

So we need to fill the water up to here for hippopotamus.

Thanks for helping us save oxpecker.

- You're a great animal rescuer.

- What do hippopotamuses do?

Let's review.

Is a hippopotamus symbiotic friends with an oxpecker

Or a monkey?

Si, an oxpecker.

'Cause the oxpecker eats the bugs off of the hippo's back,

And that keeps the hippo clean.

That's good for both of them.

To scare away crocodiles,

Does a hippopotamus open its mouth wide

Or stand on its hind legs?

Correcto.

Opens its mouth wide.

Did all the water in hippo's old river go up the mountain

Or to a town?

Right, the water was drained to a town.

We've almost finished the puzzle.

Did we help bring the hippopotamus to a new home

With a little water or lots of water?

Excelente!

Hippos need lots of water to stay cool.

Yay!

We solved the puzzle.

What's this a picture of?

A hippopotamus and an oxpecker keeping the hippopotamus clean.

Here's a picture of me bringing hippopotamus to hippo lake,

Where there's lots of water.

And there are good things we can do

To help animals everyday.

Like turning off the water when we brush our teeth.

That way, there's more water for everyone.

Remember, we all share the same world

And we can all help take care of it together.

Todos juntos.

Hasta luego, amigos.

See you soon.
