- Hello! It's me,
Explorer Josh!

I'm imagining I'm in the jungle.

Can you see the jungle?

- ♪

- Yeah!
[clears throat]

I'm imagining, ooh,
huge trees over here,

long, green, leafy vines
over there,

and I'm imagining--
[gasps]--

a monkey!
- [barks]

- [monkey chatters]

- [barks]

- Isn't imagining so cool?

- [barks]
- Oh, right!

Look!

- ♪

- I'm imagining
this is a cave.

Yeah, it's made of stone,

and there's lots and lots
of vines on top.

Do you see a cave, Blue?

- [barks] No.

- No?

Ah! Well, it is
your imagination.

You could be imagining
something different from me!

- [barks]

- What do you imagine this is?

- [barking melody]

- Oh!

We'll play Blue's Clues
to figure out what Blue

is imagining the shape to be!

Blue's Clues ♪

♪ Because it's a really

Now remember, Blue's paw print
will be on the clues.

Mm. Check this out.

We can imagine the paw print
to be anything.

So, I'm imagining it's a...

frog!

- ♪

- [ribbits]

- ♪

- Right.

Hmm. You know what we need
for Blue's Clues?

Our handy, dandy?

- KIDS: Notebook!

- Notebook! Right.

You know, I can tell
I'm really going to need

your help today figuring out
what Blue

is imagining the shape to be!

Will you help me?

Great!

To play Blue's Clues,
we got to find a?

- KIDS: Paw print!

- Right, a paw print,

'cause that's our first?

- KIDS: Clue!

- Yeah, a clue!

And we put it in our?

- KIDS: Notebook!

- ♪ Put it in our notebook,
because they're whose clues? ♪

- JOSH AND KIDS:

- ♪ We got to find
another paw print ♪

♪ Because that's
the second clue ♪

♪ That's the third clue

Thinking Chair ♪

- [barks]

- ♪ Because when you use your
mind, take a step at a time ♪

- ♪ That you wanna do ♪

Come on! Let's go explore
for clues in our jungle.

- ♪

- What is this I hear about
a jungle in the living room?

- ♪

- Isn't that just two chairs
and a blanket?

- Well, yeah, it is,
but I'm imagining it

to be a cave in the jungle.

- ♪

- JOSH: Can't you see it?
- Hm.

Nope, I don't see it.

- Maybe Mr. Salt isn't using
his imagination.

You know, I wonder what Blue's
imagining this shape to be.

We really need to find
some clues. Come on!

- ♪

- KIDS: A clue! A clue!

- Two?

Yeah, Mr. Salt can only see
two chairs.

- KIDS: No, a clue!

- Oh. [gasps]

You see a clue!

Okay, um...

- ♪

- Oh.

There's a clue on these
semicircles!

Hmm, we need to put this clue

in our handy, dandy?

- KIDS: Notebook!

- Notebook! Right.

[humming]

Okay, so two semicircles.

We'll draw a line,
then half of a circle,

then we'll do it again.

Uh-huh. There,
two semicircles.

Ah.

So what could Blue be
imagining the shape to be

with two semicircles?

[gasps] Maybe!

But let's look for two more
clues just to be sure.

Come on.

- ♪

- Hi, Josh!

Look, we're telling
a pretend story about Blue

with pictures!

- Do you want to hear it?
- Oh.

- [barks]

- Oh, sure! We'd love to hear
your story.

- Okay, here goes.

Once upon a time Blue went
on vacation to the?

Do you see what I see?

- [barks]
- Hm.

Where do you think Slippery is
imagining Blue is on vacation?

- KIDS: A beach!

- JOSH: A beach.
- BLUE: [barks]

- SLIPPERY: Yeah, a beach!

See, the buttons are the sand

and the wavy lines
are the blue water,

and this button is the sun!

- ♪

- Wow! Cool imagining,
Slippery!

- So, once upon a time,
Blue went on a vacation

to the beach.
- [barks]

- And then she went on a--

do you see it?

- Mm.
Oh, um--[clears throat]--

Well, I'm looking and...

What do you see?
- [barks]

- KIDS: A sailboat!

- JOSH: A sailboat!

- [barks]

- Right!

So once upon a time,

Blue went on vacation
to the beach,

and went on a sailboat ride
to see the fish.

But--your turn, Magenta!

- [barks]

- Hm. Ooh.

What do you think Magenta is
imagining?

- KIDS: Snow!

- SLIPPERY: It snowed!
[giggles]

Good one, Magenta!

- [barking laughing]
- [laughs]

- It snowed on a beach vacation?
[laughs]

- [barks]

- SLIPPERY: So Blue made
a snowman!

- [barks melody]

- SLIPPERY: The end!

- SLIPPERY AND BLUE:
[laughing]

- A snowman?

On the beach?

That is some imagination
you got!

- [barks]

- Oh I want to have
an imagination too!

Let me see.

I see...

buttons. Lots of buttons.

- Well, yeah, Mr. Salt.

They are buttons, but we are
imagining these buttons

to be the snow falling! Yeah.

And these three buttons,
those are a snowman.

- Snow? Snowman?

I don't see it!

- Oh that's alright.
- [barks]

- ♪ Mail time, mail time,
mail time, mail time ♪

- [barks]
- The mail's here!

- ♪ Mail time ♪

- ♪ Here's the mail
it never fails ♪

♪ It makes me want
to wag my tail ♪

♪ When it comes,
I want to wail ♪

♪ Mail-l-l-l-l ♪
- [barks]

- ♪

- Hey, Mailbox, what do you
think of my new mustache?

- Hm, looks more like
a caterpillar to me!

- Ooh!
Nice imagination!

- [barks]

- Ha!
Here's your letter!

- Thanks, Mailbox!

- You're welcome!

- We just got a letter!

Okay.

Oh look! It's a letter
from our friend.

- Hi, Josh and Blue.

I'm just imagining what this
cotton ball could be.

It could be, mm...

a bunny's tail!

Or what else?

A snowball!

Or it could be
an ice-cream scoop!

- ♪

- Bye, Josh and Blue!

- Bye!
- [barks]

- Ha! You can use your
imagination to turn something

into anything like...

Ooh! Like...

what are you imagining
this ribbon to be?

- KIDS: A clue!

- A clue?

Good one! A clue!

It is a clue!

Hey, we need to put
this ribbon clue

in our handy, dandy?

- KIDS: Notebook!

- Notebook! Right!

Okay, so a ribbon.

I'll draw a wiggly line here,

and then the other side again.

There, a ribbon.

So...

what was our first clue?

- KID: Two semicircles!

- Two semicircles, right.

And now our second clue
is...

a ribbon.

So what could Blue be
imagining the shape to be

with two semicircles
and a ribbon?

[gasps] Imaginative!

But I think we should still find
our last clue just to be sure.

- BLUE: [barking]
- Blue?

- MAGENTA: [barking]

- Magenta?

Come one! Let's go explore!

- BOTH: [barking]

- Ah! Dinosaurs!

Let's get in the fort! Ah!

- BOTH: [barking]

- Phew!
- Dinosaurs? What?

I want an imagination.

Maybe I just don't have one.

- BOTH: [barks sadly]

- Of course you have
an imagination.

You just need to learn
how to use it.

- BOTH: [barks]
- We'll show you!

- Oh, I don't know.

- You will help, right?

You will?

Thanks, because Mr. Salt
could really use our help.

Okay, so when you imagine...

♪ First you close your eyes
and see it ♪

That means you see it
in your head.

♪ Then you swirl around
to feel it ♪

♪ Then you open your eyes

♪ And you can see it there ♪

- [barks]

- ♪

- See what?

What do you see?
I don't see anything.

- [barks]

- Well, I see...

dark blue with lots of
bright shiny dots in it,

ha, and a crescent,
glowing shape.

What am I imagining?

- KIDS: The moon! And the stars!

- Right!
The moon and stars!

- [barks]

- You can imagine it, too!

- I don't see it!

- Well, I can see it
in my imagination.

Let's try again.
- [barks]

- Now I'm in a shiny object,
and we're going

up, up, up in the sky!

What am I imagining?

- KIDS: A rocket ship!

- Yes! A rocket ship!

Ooh. [clears throat]

Mission Control,
this is Captain Josh,

the astronaut in a rocket ship!

Ooh. Count down with me!
Okay.

- JOSH AND KIDS:
Five, four, three,

two, one!

Blastoff!

- ♪

- We're in outer space!

- [barks]

- A rocket ship! Outer space.

Ooh, I want to see it!

But alas, I don't.

- BOTH: [barks]

- Great idea, Magenta!

Mr. Salt, this time you try
to use your imagination!

- Me? No! No, no.

Well, okay, I'll try.

♪ First, I close my eyes
to see it ♪

♪ Then I swirl around
to feel it ♪

♪ Then I open your eyes

♪ And I can see it there ♪

- ♪

- Ooh la la! I think I see
something!

- BOTH: [barks]

- What is it?
What do you see?

- Ooh, I see something!

No, I don't.

Wait, maybe I do!

I see fish, mermaids.

And voila! An octopus!

- [gasps]
What is Mr. Salt imagining?

- GIRL: He's under the sea!

- BOY: The ocean!

- Yes! The ocean!

I didn't know imagining could
feel so good!

- BOTH: [barks]

- Whoa! You did it, Mr. Salt!

You're using your imagination!

- BOTH: [excited barking]

- I really did!

- Wow! [laughs]

- Nice job!
- [barks]

- Ooh. Come on!

We still have to figure out
what Blue is imagining

the shape to be.

- Bye!

- ♪

- KIDS: A clue! A clue!

- You found our third clue?

Where?

- BOY: Right there!
- GIRL: Behind you!

- Ooh. There it is!

And it's on this tube!

Mm. Let's put this clue
in our handy, dandy?

- KIDS: Notebook!

- Notebook! Yah!

- Okay, so...

[hums and clears throat]

A tube.

I'll draw an oval
for the top,

two long lines for the sides,

a curved line for the bottom

and then little lines
like this.

There, a tube!

We have all three clues!

We're ready to sit in our?

- KIDS: Thinking Chair!

- Thinking Chair! Right!

Come on.

- ♪

- Ha. Okay, now that we're in
our Thinking Chair,

let's think.

So, we need to figure out
what Blue is imagining

the shape to be.

And our clues are:

two semicircles.

Okay.

A ribbon.

And a tube.

- ♪

- Ha.

So...

Mm, maybe we need to see
the shape again

in our imaginations.

Yeah.
[clears throat]

[humming]

There it is.

So now we have
two semicircles,

a ribbon, and a tube.

Uh.

If we put those together,
what could we make?

Ooh.

Oh!

Maybe Blue is imagining
something in the jungle.

Yeah, yeah, so...

what if we put
the two semicircles

on either side of the shape
like ears...

on an animal!

Yeah, yeah, and--and
the tube goes in front,

and then maybe the ribbon
is the tail!

Ooh.

What animal in the jungle
would that make?

Oh.

- KIDS: An elephant.
- [elephant trumpets]

- [barks]

- An elephant!

That's...so imaginative!

- [barks]

- Oh! We just figured out
Blue's Clues!

- [barks]

- ♪ We just figured out

♪ Because we're really smart ♪
- [barks]

- We've got buttons for the
elephant's eyes, Blue!

- [barks]

Blue made that shape
into an elephant!

Ooh.

Come on, jungle explores,
let's imagine!

- [barks]

- ♪ First you close your eyes
and see it ♪

♪ Then you swirl around
to feel it ♪

♪ Then you open your eyes

♪ And you can see it there ♪

[gasps] Wow!

I see the elephant!

- [elephant trumpets]
- [barks]

- Wee! I love imagining!

I'm a jungle explorer
on an expedition!

And I see an elephant.
[laughs]

- [elephant trumpets]

- Wait! I don't see it.
- [gasps]

- Oh no!
- [barks]

- Oh no. You don't see it?

- Ah! Just kidding!

I do see it!
[laughs]

A big elephant! Huh?

- BOTH: [barking]

- Whoa!
- Whoo-hoo!

- Wow.
- Cool.

- [roars]
- [laughs]

- You know, anything is
possible in your imagination!

- [barking]

- Thank you so much
for all your help today.

You know, Mr. Salt will never
forget that you helped him

find his imagination.

- ♪

- Now it's time for so long.

- [barks]

- ♪ But we're going to sing
one more song ♪

- [barks]

- ♪ Thanks for doing your part
