Evaporation.

When water heats up,

it turns into a vapor
that is so light,

it floats into the air.

When water vapor cools,
we become water droplets.

That's called condensation.

Condensation, huh?

All droplets please move

to the center of the platform.

Droppy, it's getting
a little crowded in here.

That's the point!

Water vapors are really light,
so they float up into the air.

Yeah, we got
the evaporation part already.

But after condensation
turns us into droplets,

we start clumping together.

Oh. Whoa.

Then we get bigger
and bigger and bigger,

until we get too heavy
to stay floating.

And that's when we plummet to the earth.

Huh? Did he say
"plummet to the earth"?

Keep an eye on the meter.

When we get heavy enough,
cowabunga, dude.

[droplets] Downpour! Downpour!

[Bo]
I'm scared of downpours.

[droplets]

[screaming]

You see, when water heats up,

there's this process called evaporation.

Yeah. The water turns into tiny vapors,

and then they float up
into the air.

Up? Rain doesn't go up, StoryBots.
It comes down.

Exactly! When those vapors
cool down in the clouds,

they clump together
to form water droplets.

They get bigger and bigger...

And then they plummet
to the earth.

It's pretty heavy, man.

Just--just gimme that tape.
