- Oh hi! Come on in!

I am so glad you're here.

- [barks]

- JOSH: Oh! [laughs]

Blue and I are pretending to go to the beach!

- [barks]

- Will you pretend to go to the beach with us?

You will?

Great! Everybody!

Do the swim!

- ♪

- [barks] - [laughs]

Oh, I love the beach!

The sand, the sun, looking at the ocean.

Oh, maybe I'll see a dolphin.

What do you want to see at the beach, Blue?

- ♪ We are going to play Blue's Clues! ♪

- Oh! [laughs] I get it!

We'll play Blue's Clues

to figure out what Blue wants to see at the beach!

♪ We are going to play Blue's Clues ♪

♪ 'Cuz it's a really great game! ♪

Yes!

Now remember, Blue's pawprint will be on the clues.

Blue's Clues.

Oh right, we can't leave this pawprint out here in the sun.

Oh, I know! Let's do the wave.

- [waves crashing]

- Nice moves.

Ooh! You know what we need for Blue's Clues?

Our handy, dandy?

- KIDS: Notebook!

- Notebook! Right. Come on!

- [waves crashing] - ♪

- Blue's Clues at the beach? I'm so excited!

Here's your notebook. - Oh.

- Sorry, it's kind of sandy!

- Oh! Well that's okay.

It's kind of sandy like the beach!

Thanks, Side Table Drawer!

- [laughing] You're welcome!

- You know,

I can tell I'm really gonna need your help today

to figure out what Blue wants to see at the beach.

Will you help me?

Great!

To play Blue's Clues, we got to find a?

- KIDS: Pawprint!

- Right, a pawprint, 'cuz that's our first?

- KIDS: Clue! - Yeah, a clue!

And we put it in our? - KIDS: Notebook!

- ♪ Put it in our notebook, 'cuz they're whose clues? ♪

- JOSH AND KIDS: ♪ Blue's Clues!

- ♪ We got to find another pawprint ♪

♪ 'Cuz that's the second clue ♪

♪ Put it in our notebook, 'cuz they're whose clues? ♪

- BLUE AND KIDS: ♪ Blue's Clues!

- ♪ We got to find the last pawprint ♪

♪ That's the third clue

♪ Put it in our notebook, 'cuz they're whose clues? ♪

- JOSH, BLUE & KIDS: ♪ Blue's Clues!

- You know what to do.

♪ Sit down in our thinking chair and think think think ♪

♪ 'Cuz when you use your mind, take a step at a time ♪

♪ You can do anything...

- [barks]

- ♪ That you want to do!

[laughs] Alright,

sunglasses, check, sunblock, check,

let's totally go find some clues.

- KID # : A clue! - KID # : A clue!

- Ah? Oh!

You need sunblock too?

No problem, it's always a good idea to reapply.

- KID # : No, it's a clue! - KID # : A clue!

- Oh! You found a clue! Where?

- KID # : There! - KID # : Right there!

- Oh! Thanks.

There is a clue!

On this... sand.

Oh! You know what we need?

Our handy, dandy, kind of sandy?

- KIDS: Notebook! - Notebook! Right.

So, sand.

Sand looks like a whole lot of dots like this,

and this, and this, and this, and this.

There, sand.

So what could Blue want to see at the beach with sand?

Oh, maybe.

But I think we need to find two more clues just to be sure.

- MRS. PEPPER: It's time for the backyard beach!

- ALL: [cheering]

- Let's see what's going on.

- Oh, check out this backyard beach!

- [barks]

- Hey!

- Hey Paprika, s'up Cinnamon?

- S'up dude!

- Whatcha up to?

- We want to make a waterski for Paprika,

- Yeah! - Cool!

- But we need to use something that floats!

Can you help us? - Oh, sure. Um...

You will help too, right? - [barks]

- Oh, great! Thanks.

So we have a metal coin, a metal whistle

and a wooden craft stick.

I wonder which one of these floats.

Ooh! Let's test them out and see.

- [barks]

- JOSH: Which one floats?

- KID: The craft stick.

- BLUE: [barks]

- JOSH: Yeah!

The wooden craft stick floats,

and the metal coin and metal whistle sink.

- PAPRIKA: Woohoo!

[grunts] Oh no, it won't go forward!

Okay, we need something to pull me on the ski.

- [barks]

- Let's make a boat to pull Paprika!

- Okay, a boat. - [barks]

- Well a boat floats, right?

Right!

So, we have a metal spatula,

a sponge, and a metal bolt.

Which one do you think will float?

- KID: The sponge!

- JOSH: The sponge?

Okay, we predict the sponge with float.

Let's test them and see! - [barks]

- Let's do this!

- JOSH: Was our predication correct?

- KID: Yes!

- Yeah! The sponge floats! Just like a boat.

And the bolt and spatula sink!

So, sponge boat it is!

- [barks]

- Hang on, Paprika! We're shoving off!

- Whoa! Ha, ha! Yeah!

- Woohoo!

- Whoa! Thank you!

- [barks] - Awesome!

- Whoa!

- Whoa! Thank you so much for your help!

You're a real sink, float expert!

- MAILBOX: ♪ Mail time..

♪ Mail... time...

♪ Mail... time... mail time.

- The mail's here! Let's go!

♪ Here's the mail, it never fails ♪

♪ It makes me want to wag my tail ♪

- Hiya Josh,

what a perfect day for the beach.

- Yeah.

- Ahhh, here's your letter!

- Hm? Oh! [hums]

- We just got a letter!

- Look, Josh and Blue, I found this shell on the beach,

and when I put it up to my ear, I can hear the ocean!

- [waves crashing]

- Whoa! That sounded just like the ocean!

- [barks]

- The beach is truly a most excellent place.

- [barks] - Oh. Right!

But we still need to find two more clues

to figure out what Blue wants to see at the beach!

Right, Blue?

Blue? - BLUE: [barks]

- KID # : A clue! - KID # : A clue, a clue!

- Oh! Sand in your shoe?

Oh yeah, that's a tough one,

that's why I always go with flip flops.

For any beach situation.

- KID: No, a clue!

- Oh. Oh! You found a clue!

Where?

- KID: Over there!

- Oh.

There is a clue!

And it's moving.

Which way is the clue moving?

- KID # : Side to side!

- KID # : Sideways!

- Sideways.

[gasps] Yeah! The clue is moving sideways.

Oh! You know what we need?

Our handy, dandy, kind of sandy?

- KIDS: Notebook! - Notebook! Right.

Okay so our second clue is sideways.

So let's draw an arrow pointing to this side, and this side.

There, sideways.

So what was our first clue?

- KIDS: Sand!

- Oh! Right, sand.

And now our second clue is sideways.

So what could Blue want to see at the beach

with sand, and sideways?

Oh! Maybe,

but I think we need to find one more clue just to be sure.

- SYLVESTER: Mimi, where are you?

- [barks]

♪ Blue skidoo

- Whoa!

Blue just skidooed into that book!

♪ Blue skidoo, we can too!

- Whoa! - Wow!

We're under water!

- Underwater!

- Hi! I'm Sylvester the Seahorse!

- Oh, hi Sylvester! I'm Josh and this is Blue!

- [barks]

- I'm so glad you're here.

Will you help me find my friend Mimi?

She's hiding!

Mimi has eight arms and two eyes.

- Eight arms, two eyes. Got it!

- [barks]

- Will you help us find Mimi? - [barks]

- Great! - [barks]

- I think she's hiding down there somewhere.

- ♪

- Do you see Mimi?

- KID: There! In the coral!

- You found me!

- [gasps] Whoa!

She looked pink and brown just like that coral!

- Yup! Mimi is an octopus that can camouflage!

- [barks] - Camouflage?

- Camouflage means she can changer her color

to look like other things!

It's so amazing!

- [barks] - Mhm.

She's basically a hiding expert.

- ♪ Camouflage beneath the sea

♪ Take a look and you find me, Mimi ♪

- Oh! She's hiding again! Let's go!

- [barks]

- Hm, where could she be?

- Hm. Do you see Mimi? - [barks]

- KID # : There! - KID # : There she is!

- I don't see her!

What's she camouflaged to look like?

- KIDS: Sand!

- Sand?

- [giggles]

- Oh! - Wow!

- Nice! You found me again! - [barks]

- She was right there! - [giggles]

- Ah, she changed her color to brown

just like the sand on the ocean floor!

Whoa! - [barks]

- ♪ Camouflage beneath the sea

♪ Take a look and you find me, Mimi! ♪

- She's hiding again! Let's find her!

- Oh, let's go! - [barks]

- ♪

- Do you see Mimi?

- KID: There's Mimi!

- [barks] - Oh.

I don't see her.

What is she camouflaged as this time?

- KID: The seaweed!

- Oh, the seaweed?

- You found me again!

- Excellent finding!

- [barks]

- Wow! She was green!

Just like that seaweed!

Great job!

That was incredible Mimi!

- [barks]

- Aw, thanks!

You're great finders!

- Thanks! - See you later!

- Bye! - [barks]

- You know, you can see all kind of things down here.

- [barks] - [gasps]

But we still don't know what Blue wants to see at the beach!

We need to find our last clue! Come on!

- ♪ Blue skidoo

- ♪

- [laughs]

- KID # : A clue! - KID # : A clue!

- You see a clue? Where?

- KID # : Here! - KID # : On the shell!

- Oh. Cluebular!

There's a clue on this... shell. Hm!

Oh! You know what we need?

Our handy, dandy, kind of sandy?

- KIDS: Notebook! - Notebook! Right.

Okay, so this shell.

This shell looks kind of like an oval shape,

with lines like this here.

There. This shell.

Hey, we have all three clues!

We're ready to sit in our?

- KIDS: Thinking chair!

- Thinking chair, right! Let's go.

Okay, now that we're in our thinking chair,

let's think. - [ding]

- So we're trying to figure out

what Blue wants to see at the beach!

And our clues are sand,

sideways,

and this shell.

Okay.

So what could Blue want to see at the beach

with sand, sideways and this shell?

Oh. Oh, oh, oh!

Maybe Blue could fill this shell with sand

and look at it sideways?

- KIDS: No! - [barks]

- No, right.

Because that is just really uncomfortable.

- [barks]

- Well, what if Blue

wanted to see an animal

with this shell?

Yeah! Whoa...

What animal has a shell like this,

and moves on the sand sideways?

- KID # : A crab! - KID # : A crab!

- A crab? - A crab!

- Right! A crab!

Because a crab has a shell like this

and moves on the sand sideways at the beach!

We just figured out Blue's Clues!

- [barks]

- JOSH AND BLUE: ♪ We just figured out Blue's Clues! ♪

♪ Because we're really smart!

- Come on, Blue, let's go to the beach and look for a crab!

- [barks]

- Hi, everyone!

We're looking for a crab, have you seen one?

Walking sideways like this!

- [barks]

- No, can't say that I have!

- Nope, sorry!

- [gasps]

You're really good at finding things!

Will you help us look for a crab?

Great! If you see a crab, just say "I see a crab!" Okay?

- [barks] - Okay. All right.

- KIDS: I see a crab! I see a crab!

- MAGENTA AND BLUE: [barking]

- Magenta is a crab! [laughs]

- Awesome!

- I have to get a picture of this!

Crab selfie!

- Superb!

- I love the beach! Ooh!

Hey, everybody, let's do the crab!

- [laughing] - Ooh la la!

- BLUE AND MAGENTA: [barking]

- Craberific!

- Check it out, do the crab snap!

Crabs in the house!

- [barks] - [laughing]

- This was the best beach day ever!

Today was just, was just great

and we couldn't have done it without you!
