This is Astronaut Josh reporting from outer space, space, space.

Do you like my costume?

I made it myself because we are having a costume parade!

Do you wanna be an astronaut too?

- Oh. That sounds like Blue.

[clears throat] Come on, astronauts!

Count down with me.

- JOSH & KIDS: Three, two, one, blastoff!

- [blows air]

Coming in for a landing.

Cut thrusters! [makes landing sounds]

- [barks]

- Coming, Blue!

- [jangling sounds]

- Hey, Blue! - [barks]

- Ooh! So, do you wanna dress up as an astronaut like us today?

- [barks "no"]

- Oh. Okay. Well--ooh!

There are lots of great costumes in here.

What do you wanna dress up as, Blue?

- [barking melody]

We'll play Blue's Clues to figure out what costume

Blue wants to wear for the parade!

for the parade.

- KIDS: Paw print! - Right, a paw print.

'Cause that's our first...

- KIDS: Clue! - Yeah, a clue!

We really gotta find some clues. Come on.

- KIDS: There!

- Yeah! Oh, you know this song!

Mm, we need to put this clue

in our handy, dandy...

Okay. [clears throat]

So, a vest.

A line up, then a curved line,

over and down for one side.

And then we'll do the same thing on the other side.

There, we have a vest. Hm.

- [horn plays] - Ah.

So what costume could Blue want to wear for the parade

with a vest?

[gasps] Could be. Huh.

Well, let's find two more clues just to be sure.

- SHOVEL: Not this, that one!

- PAIL: No, not that one. This one!

- Sounds like Shovel and Pail need our help.

Oh! [gasps]

We can be...

super helpers! Zoom!

- [barks "super helpers"]

- Hi, super helpers.

I want to dress up like a fire truck

for the costume parade. Will you help?

- Of course.

You will help too, right?

Great. Thanks. - [barks]

- [superhero music plays]

- So...what could we use

that will look like the shape of a fire truck?

The box, the bowl, or the tube?

- KID: The box! - [barks]

- Yeah, the box looks like a fire truck!

Excellent work, super helpers! - [barks]

- [grunts] Uh-oh! Uh...can't move!

- Oh, no.

We need wheels so our fire truck can move.

- On it! Firefighter Pail to the rescue!

- ♪

- There. - Oh.

Okay. So, uh...

what could we use that will look like wheels?

Egg cartons, plates, or hearts?

- KID: The plates!

- [barks] - Yeah!

The plates are shaped like circles and look like wheels!

- [barks]

- All right, looks good!

- Super helpers, you've done it again.

- [barks]

- This fire truck is awesome. Thanks!

Firefighters Shovel and Pail off to the rescue!

Weeoh, weeoh, weeoh!

- Bye!

Wow, Shovel and Pail have super costumes for the parade.

[gasps] But we still don't know what costume Blue wants to wear.

We need to find two more clues!

Super helpers, away!

- [superhero music plays]

- JOSH: [makes wooshing sounds]

- KIDS: A clue! A clue!

- Oh, yeah! Super helpers to the rescue!

- KID: No, a clue!

- JOSH: Wait! A clue?

You see a clue? Where?

- KID: There! - KID: Behind you!

- Behind me? Ooh!

[clears throat] Scanning.

- [cymbal plays]

- Oh! There it is!

[laughs]

Our second clue!

And it's on this hard hat.

Ah.

We need to put this clue in our handy, dandy...

- KIDS: Notebook! - Notebook!

- [ding] - Right!

Okay. All right.

[clears throat] So, a hard hat.

We'll draw a curved line that goes all the way around.

Then two lines up in the middle, and then another line across.

There, we have a hard hat.

Yeah. So, mm.

What was our first clue?

- KIDS: A vest! - Ah, a vest! Right.

- [horn plays] - Hm. Mm!

And our second clue is...? A hard hat.

- [tuba plays]

- Ah.

So what costume does Blue want to wear for the parade

with a vest and a hard hat? Hm.

[gasps] Maybe!

But we've gotta find one more clue

before the costume parade starts.

- MAILBOX: ♪ Mail time, mail time, mail time, mail time ♪

♪ Mail time!

- The mail's here!

♪ Here's the mail, it never fails ♪

♪ It makes me wanna wag my tail ♪

♪ When it comes, I wanna wail

- JOSH & BLUE: ♪ Mail!

- [barks]

- [creaking sound]

- [twiddling sound]

- Oh, what?! - [laughs]

- JOSH & MAILBOX: Great costume!

- [gasps] Of course we'll be the characters in your play!

- Once upon a time, some fuzzy bunnies searched through

the magical forest.

They were looking for someone very special.

Psst, Josh! We need bunnies!

- Oh. Oh, that's me.

Okay, bunnies.

Whew.

Eh...oh.

Um...which of these costumes could we wear to be bunnies?

Hm.

- KID: That one! - [gasps]

- KID: The white-and-pink ears! - Yeah!

Bunny ears are really long, just like these!

Ooh, let's put our bunny ears on...

and hop. Come on.

- ♪

- So, the fuzzy bunnies hopped through the magical forest.

- Oh, that's us! Keep hopping!

- Suddenly, in the magic forest,

the fuzzy hopping bunnies grew butterfly wings!

- [gasps] Whoa!

- Psst!

- Oh, right!

Now we need butterfly wings.

- ♪

- Oh, boy. Oh!

Which costume could we wear to be butterflies?

Hm.

- KID: Those colorful wings! - [gasps]

Oh, yeah!

Oh!

These wings!

Because butterfly wings are colorful and shaped like these!

[hums] Okay. All right.

All right! Let's flap our wings like butterflies

and hop like bunnies.

Let's do this.

[blows air]

- ♪

- So, the bunny butterflies--

- Oh, that's us!

- --went deeper into the magical forest,

still searching for someone very special,

when suddenly, the bunny butterflies

grew...horse tails! - Horse tails?

Oh!

Horse tails.

- [giggles]

- Okay, okay. So, a horse.

Yeah, um...

So which of these costumes could we wear to be horses?

- KID: That one! - KID # : The brown tail!

- Yeah, the tail!

All right, let's gallop!

- ♪

- And so the bunny butterfly horses searched

and they searched and they searched

until they finally found the very special someone

they were looking for. - Who could it be?

- The blue bunny butterfly horse puppy!

- [blue barks "ta-da"]

- Oh, Blue! [laughs]

- [barks]

- The end!

- Oh, uh-- [clears throat]

- Wow!

The parade's about to start!

Our last clue!

And it's on this...how...um...

- KID: Hammer!

- Yeah, this hammer!

Mm, you know what we need?

Our handy, dandy...

- KIDS: Notebook! - Notebook!

- [ding] - Right.

So, a hammer.

A rounded line for the front.

A curved line that goes back and forth like a claw for the back.

And a line down and around for the handle.

There. A hammer.

We have all three clues.

We're ready for our...

- KIDS: Thinking Chair! - Thinking Chair! Right!

Come on!

- ["Blue Skidoo" plays]

- Okay. Now that we're in our Thinking Chair,

let's...think! - [ding]

- So, we're trying to figure out

what costume Blue wants to wear for the parade.

And our clues are, hm--

[clears throat]-- a vest.

- [horn plays]

- Okay.

A hard hat.

- [tuba plays]

- All right. And a hammer.

- [light tapping]

- So what costume does Blue want to wear for the parade

with a vest, a hard hat, and a hammer?

- [music stops]

- Oh.

Could she dress the hammer up in the vest

and put a hard hat on its head?

Oh.

- KIDS: No!

- [barks no]

- Oh. No.

Yeah. Okay.

- [music begins again] - Well...

what if Blue...

wore the vest and the hard hat,

and used the hammer--

[gasps]-- to hammer things?

- KID: Construction worker!

wear bright-colored vests and hard hats,

and use hammers to build things!
