- [barks twice]

- Oh, hi! Happy Halloween!

It's going to be extra-- [howls like wolf]--spooky!

["spooky" echoes]

Yeah. Hey, check it out!

I'm dressed as a werewolf.

Rawr!

Do you wanna be a werewolf with me?

Great! Let's howl. Ready?

- JOSH & KIDS: [howling]

- Nice. You make an excellent werewolf.

- BLUE: [barks]

- Oh! Come on! The party's this way.

- [barks] - Nice costumes.

- [barks] - Thanks!

- Look! Blue is dressed as a unicorn.

- [barks]

- Oh, right! I mean, a Blue-nicorn!

- [barks]

- Isn't Halloween the best?

Look at all these great costumes.

- Oogalah boogalah!

- [barks]

- Ooh, great ghost costume, Shovel.

- It's not me! [giggles] - [barks]

- Oogalah boogalah!

- [frightened bark]

- Oh, you really got me that time, Tickity!

- It's not me! Later, Josh!

- Bye, Blue! - [barks]

- But if it's not Shovel, and it's not Tickity,

who is that spooky ghost?

- [barks "We are gonna play Blue's Clues!"]

- Oh! We'll play Blue's Clues

to figure out who that spooky ghost is!

♪ We're gonna play Blue's Clues ♪

♪ 'Cuz it's a really great game ♪

Yes! Mm. Now remember,

Blue's paw print will be on the clues--

Blue's Clues.

Ooh, right!

We can't just leave this paw print here.

Ooh, let's see.

Um, ooh! We could--

- Oogalah boogalah!

- Oh! Spooky! Hey!

You know what we need for Blue's Clues?

Our handy, dandy--

- KIDS: Notebook! - Notebook, right!

- ♪

- Arrgh! Here's your notebook, werewolf matey!

- [laughs]

Ooh, spooky!

I thank yoooouuuu, Pirate Side Table.

- Arrgh, welcome.

- You know, I can tell

I'm really gonna need your help today

figuring out who the spooky ghost is.

Will you help me?

You will? Great!

To play Blue's Clues, we gotta find a...

- KIDS: Paw print! - Right, a paw print.

'Cuz that's our first...

- KIDS: Boo! - Aah!

- KID: No, a clue!

- Oh, a clue! Ah, whew!

And we put it in our...

- KIDS: Notebook!

- ♪ Put it in our notebook

♪ 'Cuz they're whose clues?

- JOSH & KIDS: Blue's Clues!

- ♪ We gotta find another paw print ♪

♪ 'Cuz that's the second--

- KIDS: Boo! - Oh! Clue.

♪ Put it in our notebook

♪ 'Cuz they're whose clues?

- KIDS & JOSH: Blue's Clues!

- ♪ We gotta find the last paw print ♪

♪ That's the third--

- KIDS: Boo! - [yelps]

Ooh, clue, right.

♪ Put it in our notebook

- You know what to do.

♪ Sit down in our thinking chair and think, think, think ♪

♪ 'Cuz when you use your mind

♪ Take a step at a time

♪ You can do anything

- [barks]

- ♪ That you wanna dooo, awahooo ♪♪

[laughs] Okay.

So remember to keep an eye out for clues.

Blue's Clues.

- Oogalah!

- Who could that spooky ghost be?

Come on.

- [spooky music]

- ♪ We're looking for Blue's Cluuuueeeees ♪

- KID # : A clue! - KID# : A clue, a clue!

- Awahoo! Wow. Nice howl.

I really like to lean into the "awhoo" part at the end,

kind of like this.

[clears throat] Awahoooooo!

- KID: [giggles] No, a clue over there.

- Oh! There's a clue! Thanks.

And it's on those paw prints!

Interesting. Hm!

You know what we need?

Our handy, dandy?

- KIDS: Notebook! - Notebook! Right.

Okay, all right. So, paw prints.

The paw prints look kind of like a circle...

with smaller circles for the toes.

And a third.

[hums to self]

And a fourth.

There. Paw prints.

So who could the spooky ghost be with paw prints?

[gasps] Maybe. Hm.

But I think we should find two more clues just to be sure.

- SHOVEL: Let's think. - PAIL: Hmm.

- Hm. That sounded like Shovel and Pail.

Let's go-awhoo!

- Hey, Shovel and Pail. Whatcha working on?

- Josh! We're decorating pumpkins.

- And we really need your help.

- [barks] - Oh.

Do you wanna help Shovel and Pail decorate pumpkins?

Yes! Me too! - [barks]

- Okay, we're in. Nice pumpkin, Shovel.

- Thanks! Mine's the shortest one.

- I want my pumpkin to be the opposite of Shovel's.

I want mine to be the tallest. - Oh, I see!

Tallest is the opposite of shortest.

- [barks] - Okay, so...

which pumpkin is the tallest?

- KID: That one! - [barks]

- [gasps] Pail should use this pumpkin

because it's the tallest!

- [barks]

- Thanks, Blue! Hmm.

I want my pumpkin to have really small eyes.

Like this!

- [laughs] Those eyes are really small.

It looks great! - Ooh!

I want my pumpkin's eyes to be the opposite of small.

- Ah ha! Got it. - [barks]

- I don't got it.

Hm, which eyes are the opposite of small?

- KID: Big! The big ones! - [barks]

- Big eyes, yes!

Shovel, you should give your pumpkin big eyes,

because big is the opposite of small.

- Right on! Big eyes on this short pumpkin.

- Ooh, excellent pumpkin work, Shovel.

- Thanks! - [barks]

- I want my pumpkin to have a frown, like this!

[giggles]

- That frown kind of makes the pumpkin look grumpy.

Hm. Kind of like a grumpkin.

- [giggling] - A grumpkin!

- Well, I want my pumpkin to be the opposite of grumpy.

- Ah, right. I kind of figured.

Let's see.

Which would be the opposite of grumpy?

- KID # : Happy! - KID # : Smiling!

- JOSH: Oh, yeah! Happy, right!

Because happy is the opposite of grumpy.

- [barks] - Awesome!

- [barks]

- I'll give my pumpkin a big smile so it looks super happy!

[giggles] Well, that was so much fun.

- These look great!

[gasps] Gorgeous!

- [barks]

- [giggling]

- SHOVEL & PAIL: Thanks for helping us!

- Oh, anytime. And thank you toooooo.

- Oh, I can't wait for our trick-or-treating.

- Yeah!

- MAILBOX: ♪ Mail time, mail time ♪

♪ Mail time, mail time

- The mail's here!

- MAILBOX: ♪ Mail time - [barks excitedly]

- ♪ Here's the mail, it never fails ♪

♪ It makes me wanna wag my tail ♪

♪ When it comes, I wanna wail

- BOTH: Awahoooooo!

- [barks]

- Oh!

- The moo's here.

Here's your mooo.

- [laughs] Thanks, Cow Box.

- You're wel-cowm!

[giggles] Happy Halloween!

- We just got a letter!

♪ We just got a letter

♪ I wonder who it's from ♪

Oh, it's a letter from our friends.

- Hi, Josh and Blue!

- We made a trick-or-treat song. Listen!

- BOTH: ♪ We go house to house, check us out ♪

♪ We wear costumes when we shout ♪

Happy Halloween!

- Bye! [laughs]

Wow, that was super silly.

- Oogalah! - [yelps]

And that was super spooky. - [barks]

- We really need to find two more clues so we can figure out

who the spooky ghost is. - [barks]

- Let's go.

- ♪

Now, where could that clue be?

- ♪

- KID: A clue, a clue! - The moon?

Oh, yeah, werewolves love to howl at the moon.

- KIDS: [laughing] No! It's a clue!

- Oh, um...

[gasps] There's a clue!

And it's on Pail's tail!

- Cool.

- Whoa, look at that!

- Tail is our second clue.

[gasps] Hey, do you know what we need?

Our handy, dandy?

- KIDS: Notebook! - Notebook! Right.

Okay. So, a tail.

A tail is a line that curves around like this.

There. A tail. So--mm.

What was our first clue?

- KID: Paw prints!

- Paw prints, right!

And our second clue is a tail. Huh.

So who could this spooky ghost be

with these paw prints and a tail? Hm.

Ooh, maybe!

But we still need to find our last--[yelps]

- Oooooohh!

- There it goes! After that ghost!

- [evil laugh]

- [barks]

[barks "Blue Skidoo"]

- Blue just skidooed after that ghost!

Let's go!

♪ Blue Skidoo, we can too

- [spooky music]

- [barks]

- Whoa!

What is this place?

- [barks]

- Oooooooooooooooh!

- [gasps] The ghost!

- [barks "The ghost!"]

- ♪

- Oh. Wait. Where did it go?

- [barks]

- [gasps] A spooky note!

- [barks]

- Do you think that spooky ghost left it?

Yeah, me too. - [barks]

- Okay.

"Oogalah boogalah.

"On this spooky night, I'm at Halloween Castle by the door

with the most lights."

- [barks] - Oh. Okay.

By the door with the most lights.

So which door has the most lights?

- KID: That one! - KID: The middle door!

- [barks "The middle door!"]

- Oh, yeah!

The middle door has more lights than the other two.

It has the most lights! Let's go.

- [barks "Let's go!"]

- Okay! We're here!

Now where could that be spooky ghost be?

- [spooky music]

- [barks]

- Oh! Oh! Another spooky note!

Okay, let's see what it says.

"Boogalah, oogalah. Look up and you'll see the tower

with the least windows is where you'll find me."

Huh. - [barks]

- Oh!

- [organ music]

- JOSH: The ghost is in one of those towers.

- BLUE: [barks] - JOSH: Okay, so, uh...

which tower has the least windows?

- KID: That one! - KID: The green tower!

- JOSH: The green tower? Oh, right!

The green tower only has two windows.

- [organ music]

- And that's the least!

- [barks]

- Let's go! - [barks "Let's go!"]

- [spooky music]

- Okay. This is the green tower.

Now, where could that spooky ghost be?

- [barks]

- [yelps] Oh!

Another spooky note!

Let's see what this one says.

"Oogalah boogalah, Happy Halloween.

I am behind the window with the most spiders that are green."

- [barks "That are green?"]

- We are so close to catching that ghost!

Okay, so...which window has the most spiders that are green?

- KID: That one!

- KID: The one with three green spiders!

- Oh, yeah! You're right! - [barks "You're right!"]

- This window has three green spiders.

And that window only has two!

This must be the right window!

Okay, let's open it on the count of three.

Ready?

- KIDS, JOSH & BLUE: One, two, three!

- Oogalah boogalah! - [yelping]

- The ghost! Follow that ghost!

- [barks "Follow that ghost!"]

- Ooooooohhh!

- [barks]

- [pants]

Huh. The ghost is gone again.

- KID: [gasps] A clue!

- Oh, yeah!

I really wanted to catch that ghost too!

- KID # : No, it's a clue! - KID # : Behind you!

- Oh, wha-- Oh! There's a clue!

And it's on those two triangles.

Hey, you know what we need? Our handy, dandy?

- KIDS: Notebook! - Notebook! Right.

Okay. All right.

And...there.

So, two triangles.

To make triangles, we draw three lines, like this.

And another.

There! Two triangles.

We have all three clues.

You know what that means?

We're ready for our--

- KIDS: Thinking chair! - Thinking chair, right!

Let's go-awahoo!

- [barks "Blue Skidoo"]

- ♪

- Okay. Now that we're in our thinking chair,

let's...think!

So, we're trying to figure out who the spooky ghost is.

And our clues are--ahem.

Paw prints. Okay.

A tail. Okay.

And...two triangles. Huh.

So, who could the spooky ghost be with paw prints,

a tail, and two triangles?

Oh. Well, animals have paw prints and tails.

But what could the two triangles be?

- KID: Ears! - Ears?

[gasps] Oh, right! Ears!

Triangle ears!

So, what animal has a tail, triangle ears,

and can make these paw prints?

- KID: A cat! - KID: A kitten!

- [barks "A kitten!"]

- A kitten? [gasps]

A kitten, yes!

Because a kitten has a tail, triangle ears,

and can make these paw prints!

- [barks]

- We just figured out Blue's Clues!

♪ We just figured out Blue's Clues ♪

♪ Because we're really smart ♪ - [barks]

- And I think I know just who that kitten might be!

- [barks]

- Let's go!

- Oogalah boogalah! - [giggling]

- It's the ghost! - Oogalah boogalah!

- I wonder who it is.

- [giggling]

- Very spooky ghost! We know who you are.

- [barks] - You do?

- [barks] - Mm-hmm.

We now know that you are in fact...

a kitten!

- ALL: [gasping]

- Whoa.

- Indeed, it is I, your neighbor and kitten friend, Periwinkle!

- [gasps] - [barks]

- Yes! - Wow!

It was Periwinkle the whole time.

- Great costume! Very spooky!

- Really nice work, Peri!

- [barks]

- Oh, right, Blue!

It's time for trick-or-treating!

- [barks]

- Do you wanna go trick-or-treating with us?

- You do? - [barks]

- Yay! - Great!

- [barks]

- [cheering]

- Trick or treat!

- Wait for me!

- ♪

- ♪ We're having a party

♪ We're waiting for you

♪ There's pumpkins, yummy treats ♪

♪ And mystery too

♪ There's costumes and dancing ♪

♪ And here's one more clue

- Boo! - Wow!

♪ It's time for Halloween, so sweet ♪

♪ What you gonna be

♪ Let's go trick or treat

♪ Up and down the street

♪ You and Blue and me

♪ And all the friends we meet

♪ It's a fun, spooky scene

♪ It's time for Halloween

♪ Some hiding and seeking keeps us on our toes ♪

♪ We're dressed in disguises that thrill us the most ♪

♪ A witch or a pirate, or maybe a-- ♪

- PERIWINKLE: Boo! - ♪ Ghost

♪ It's time for Halloween, so sweet ♪

♪ What you gonna be

♪ Let's go trick or treat

♪ Up and down the street

♪ You and Blue and me
