WUBBZY IN THE WOODS

Oh, boy!

I love camping.

Yeah, me too!

Yes, yes, yes!

I can't wait to gather

different samples of flowers and ferns,

and do some serious star-gazing at night.

[tires screeching]

[quacking]

And I can't wait to try out my new inventions,

like my instant campfire machine,

and my Electronic Birdcall Replicator 3000...

[chirping]

with Dolby sound.

I can't wait to go to my favorite pond

and catch some speckled flying frogs.

[record scratches]

As a scientist, I believe that all animals

should be allowed to run free,

and that includes frogs.

I always let 'em go when I'm finished, Walden.

But it's so much fun to catch 'em!

I can't wait!

Oops.

[motor chugging] [tires squealing]

[tires screeching]

Okay! Let's go!

Oh, wait up, Wubbzy!

First, we have to unload this, here, truck.

We do?

And then, we have to unpack the bags.

We do?

And then, we got to pitch the tent.

But that's going to take forever!

Not if we all work together.

And after we're done,

then you can go look for flying frogs.

Oh, okay.

[beeps]

See, now? That didn't take too long.

No, indeedy.

Okay! Let's go to the frog pond.

Wait! Wubbzy!

Now what?

We have to find the trail map.

[sighing]

Hmm.

Is it in here?

I sure thought I put it in here.

Hey! I don't need a map.

I know where the frog pond is!

But you might get lost.

There are plenty of signs along the way.

[Widget] No, no, no, no!

Wait, Wubbzy! You shouldn't go alone.

See you at the frog pond!

[sighs]

Let's go find that map.

See?

There's a sign to the pond.

And there's another one.

And there's...

Hey.

Where's the sign?

Oh, there it is.

Hmm.

I've been to the pond so many times,

I'm pretty sure I go

that way.

Hoo! I sure wish I could remember

where I put that map.

Is this it?

Huh! A-ha!

I knew I'd find it.

Yup, that tree looks familiar.

And so does that rock.

But I don't remember the path

being this steep.

Whoa!

I guess I went the wrong way.

Of course!

It's this way!

The map says it's this way.

Ah, this is more like it.

Oof!

Hmm.

Wrong way again.

Maybe I should go back to camp

and check the trail map.

A-ha!

Here's the frog pond.

Just like it says on the map.

And there's the speckled flying frogs.

[ribbit, ribbit]

[ribbit, ribbit]

[splash] [ribbit]

Yes,

but where's Wubbzy?

I'm not sure, but I think I'm lost.

[bird screeching]

[gasps]

Wow!

That sounds like a giant beasty-bird.

[teeth chattering]

[flapping]

[screech]

Phew.

[roaring]

[Wubbzy] Wow.

I think that's

a pointy-toothed wuzzly-wolf.

[roaring]

Just a chipmunk.

Hee, hee!

[leaves rustling]

[gasps] A creepy-crawler.

Definitely a creepy-crawler!

[sniffing]

[sighing]

You got to relax, Wubbzy.

There's nothing to be afraid of.

[roars loudly]

[ribbit]

[ribbit, ribbit]

Maybe one of these frogs

can help us find Wubbzy.

Let's see, now.

Ah, here it is.

The call of the speckled flying frog.

[clears throat]

Ribbity, ribbity, ribbit!

[laughing] Come on now, Walden.

That there's never gonna work.

Ribbity, ribbity, ribbit!

Rib!

[ribbit]

He says,

he'll see what we can do.

[ribbit, ribbit]

Ribbit!

Wow!

It's a speckled flying frog!

He must've come from the frog pond.

Ribbit!

Hey, if I follow him,

he'll take me right to the frog pond.

[Wubbzy] Widget! Walden!

Boy, am I glad to see you.

We're glad to see you too.

Did you get lost there, little buddy?

Well, just a little.

I should've listened to you about that trail map.

Well, Wubbzy,

now you can finally catch

some speckled flying frogs.

[ribbit]

[splash]

No, thanks.

Those frogs need to be free,

so they can help

other silly, lost creatures.

Besides, it's getting dark.

You're right.

Which way back to the camp?

Uh, I'm not sure.

Walden?

Where's the trail map?

I gave it to you.

I gave it back to you.

[ribbit]

Follow that frog!

[all laughing]

Wow!

Boy,

I love to feed the birds.

A LITTLE HELP FROM YOUR FRIENDS

[honking horn]

[honking horn]

Hi, Widget.

Can I borrow a wiggle wrench?

I want to put this new horn on my tooter-scooter.

No problemo, little buddy.

Here we go.

[cranking]

You know, Wubbzy, you could do that

a whole lot faster if you used

a hydraulic turbo ratchet.

[whirring]

But I don't know how to use

a hydro turbo whatcha-call-it.

No problemo.

I'll help you.

Now, all we have to do

is tighten the C-clamp to the handlebar and--

But I don't really need any help.

[whirring]

Ta-da!

Thanks.

You know, while I'm at it,

maybe I'll tighten this here manifold

and reinforce the suspension.

I just wanted to put my horn

on my scooter.

Wow, wow, wow!

I can't wait to plant my new flower

in the garden.

Hi, Wubbzy.

That's a fine flower you have there.

Yup, and it's gonna look great in my garden.

Yes, yes, yes.

I'm sure it will. But you know, Wubbzy,

you'll need to fertilize that flower

if you want it to really grow.

But I don't know how to "fruitilize,"

or "flertisize,"

or whatever you just said.

Don't worry, I'll help you.

But I don't need any help.

Now to get this garden really growing.

You see, Wubbzy,

there's a real science to gardening.

First, you have to turn over the soil

and mix it with nutrients.

Why is everyone always

helping me all the time?

Next time, I'm going to do something

all by myself.

But what?

[honking horn]

Boy, oh, boy!

All that ratcheting and horn-tooting

has made me hungry as a hippo.

[rumbling]

[laughing]

Yes, I've worked up quite an appetite

from gardening, myself.

I know!

I'll make a big fancy dinner

for the three of us.

A fancy dinner?

What a great idea!

It'll be a real feast.

I'll make us all some chocolate doodleberry cake.

Mmm, mmm, mmm.

That sounds right up my alley.

Yes, is there anything we can do to help?

[record scratches]

No!

I mean, no, thank you.

I don't need anyone's help at all.

Now, let's see.

Here we are, doodleberry cake.

Eggs,

flour,

chocolate,

doodleberries.

And, uh,

one teaspoon

of super-dooper baking powder.

Hmm. That doesn't seem

like very much baking powder.

I want this cake to really bake.

Oops!

Oh, well. It couldn't hurt.

[sloshing]

Wow!

Wait until Walden and Widget see the cake I made,

without any help at all.

[rumbling]

Wow, that cake batter

sure is rising fast!

[gasps]

Maybe too fast!

[gasps]

Uh-oh.

Whoa!

♪♪ [surf rock]

It sure is nice of Wubbzy to cook us dinner.

Yes, and he did it all

without asking for any--

Help!

[gasps]

Wubbzy's made enough cake

for the whole town of Wuzzleburg.

Wow, wow, wow!

The whole town is gonna be cake

if we don't do something!

What are we gonna do?

Think, think, think.

[gasps] I have an idea!

But I'll need your help.

No problemo.

Wow, wow, wow!

I'm headed right for the art museum!

Oh, no!

All of zee precious artworks will be ruined!

Help!

[tires screeching]

[tires squealing]

Hooray!

How's it coming, Widget?

I need a little more time.

Kooky!

Hi, Wubbzy.

Uh, you forgot your mail.

Wow, wow, wow, wow!

I'm headed right for the zoo!

Oh, no!

All the animals will be buried in cake batter!

Help!

Timber!

[Wubbzy] Whoa!

Hooray!

Are you almost done yet?

Almost finished!

Wow, wow, wow!

I'm headed right for the library!

Oh, no!

All of the library books

will be covered in cake!

Help!

[tires screeching]

Hooray!

[sighing] Widget, please!

Tell me it's finished!

All done.

The Big Baking Oven 3000.

I don't want to be baked!

Help, help, help!

[All] Hooray!

Nice job, Widget.

You too, partner.

Sorry my dinner turned into

a big gloppy mess.

I wanted to prove that I didn't need any help.

But I guess I got a little carried away.

I'll make sure I ask my friends.
