I'm Hubba Hubba, talking

to you from Hoobland.

And I'm about to send

four of my favorite Hoobs

down to earth to find

out all about you

for my great Hooba-Pedia.

Here they come.

(light music)

- Iver!

- Groove!

- And Tula!

- [Together] We're Hoobs!

♪ And they're ready to go ♪

- Well, hey!

♪ Now the wheels are turning ♪

♪ We can all get learning ♪

♪ All the things

we want to know ♪

♪ Yay ♪

♪ Hubba Hubba's in Hoobland ♪

♪ And Roma's

somewhere far away. ♪

♪ Oh, oh, oh ♪

♪ The Motorettes are singing ♪

♪ We keep the engine spinning ♪

♪ Hoob Hoob, hooray ♪

♪ Hoobmobile is coming your way♪

- Oh here we come.

- Well hey.

- Ah!

♪ The Hoobs are here

so what do you say ♪

- Ta-da, fan tabby Hooby.

Gurgle-y, bubbly, hoobly,

groobly, Hoobo Fizz.

- Do I smell smell Hoobo Fizz?

- Hooble doop, Groove.

- Hooble doop, Tula.

- [Together] And a

whoop, whoop, whoop.

- Whoop, whoop, whoop,

whoop, whoop, whoop.

- Why all the whoops, Tula?

- whoops today, Iver.

Because I'm having a day

which means I do

everything times.

- No, I'm sorry, Tula, no.

We don't have time for you

to do everything times.

- But I've made bottles

of herbly gerbly Hoobo Fizz.

- Uh, Hoobo Fizz.

- Now listen you two,

we have to think up

a question for Hoob News.

- Or questions.

- No, Tula.

- How about, what's the

best thing about Hoobo Fizz?

- Ah, all Hoobs know the

answer to that, Groove.

The best thing about

Hoobo Fizz is when

the Hoobo Fizz goes.

- Pop!

(giggling)

- You're right, the

Hoobo Fizz pop is the pop

to end all pops.

Could we hear it?

- Well, okay, if we're quick.

Take it away, Tula.

- Hoobo Fizz, Hoobo

Fizz, bubble to the top

and when I take the Hoob

nib out the Hoobo Fizz goes.

- Ah, um well Hoobo

Fizz only goes pop

when it's ready to go pop

and it isn't ready yet, so.

- Oh, well I was

just in the mood

for a really good pop.

- But we must think

of a question.

- I can't think of anything

except popping now.

- Oh, Groove.

There must be other

things that go pop.

Now what goes pop?

- [Announcer]

Hubba Hubba, Hubba.

- What goes pop?

That's a really great

idea for a question, Tula.

It's just the thing

for Hoob News.

- Oh, good.

And you can put all of our

answers in your Hooba-Pedia

so Hoobs everywhere can

learn about popping.

- Did you say all our answers?

- Yes, we need

answers today, Iver

because I'm having--

- A day.

- different pops,

all on the same day.

Oh, Hooby galooby.

- Okay, we've got

our work cut out.

- Well, let me see what

I can find on Hoob Net.

Ah, there you are.

I found some noises.

There might be a pop among them.

Take a look.

Oh what a lovely noise.

But it's not a pop.

(whirring)

No, not a pop.

I can't hear any pops.

There now, that's

lovely but no popping.

Oh, that's a big noise,

no popping though.

That's more of a click.

Yes.

Oh, it sounds lovely but I

still can't hear any pops.

That was a plop, not a pop.

That's more of a knock.

Oh, that's a very big

sound, no pops though.

(popping)

Ah, now that was a pop.

- I knew it.

A balloon goes pop!

- And what a pop it was, pop!

- We need one.

We need one now!

Please, could you send us

a balloon, Hubba Hubba?

So we can put in

the Hooby Studio?

- You bet I can.

I'll order one from the

Hoob Net right away.

- Well, that's one pop.

We need nine more.

- No problem.

Um, someone must be able

to give us another pop.

- Yes, but who?

- I know who, the Tiddly Peeps.

- I'll go!

- You think Tiddly Peeps go pop?

- Well, they might.

- It's all right,

Groove, stop popping.

Quick, into the cab.

Off we go on a pop hunt.

- Pop!

- Well come on,

come one, come on.

- Pop, pop!

- Seat belts.

- [Together] We're off

to see the Tiddly Peeps!

(upbeat music)

- [Children] Yeah!

- It's a great day to do one

because I'm having a day.

Which means we have

to do whoops.

Are you ready?

- [Children] Yeah!

- Hooble doop, hooble doop.

- [Together] Whoop,

whoop, whoop.

Whoop, whoop, whoop.

Whoop!

- whoops!

Now we need

things that go pop.

- I know what goes pop.

- [Tula] Yes?

- A balloon.

- Yes, we found

out about balloons

and what a Hoobly,

groobly noise they make.

But is there anything else?

- I can go pop.

- A Tiddly Peep can

go pop, show me.

(popping)

Show me again!

(popping)

(spitting)

(popping)

Fantastic!

Hooble toodle do!

- [Children] Hooble do, Tula!

- Do you know anything

else that goes pop?

- Yes, a weasel goes pop.

We'll sing it for you.

tuppenny rice ♪

♪ Half a pound of treacle ♪

♪ Pop goes the weasel♪

- Oh, did you get that?

- I think they can.

- Yeah.

- Oh, and this popping

weasel is pretty Hoob-acious.

Don't you think, Groove?

- [Groove] Yeah.

- See, easy.

I got two more

pops from one visit

to the Tiddly Peeps.

- Yeah.

- Yes, but Tula.

- Hm?

- We've Hoob loads

of pop still to find

for your day.

(funky music)

♪ Pop and play ♪

♪ Tula's having a day ♪

♪ We need to find pops ♪

♪ Balloons go pop

and weasels do ♪

♪ Put your finger in your

mouth and you do it too ♪

♪ Let's all go popping ♪

♪ Fill your mouth with air ♪

♪ And go popping ♪

♪ You've got three pops ♪

♪ You need seven more ♪

♪ Where will we find

pop number four ♪

♪ We've got to find more pops ♪

♪ We will pop until we drop ♪

♪ We'll search for more ♪

♪ And we just won't stop ♪

- Ah, this arrived

from Hubba Hubba

while you were with

the Tiddly Peeps, Tula.

- It must be my balloon.

- I'm going to hang

the popping weasel

in the Hooby Studio.

- What is this?

- Um, it's a small,

flat, blue floppy thing.

- So, is our balloon

ready for popping?

The.

That doesn't look as if it

would pop in a million years.

- There must be a way of

making it poppable, but how?

♪ How, how, how ♪

♪ How, how, how, how, how ♪

♪ How, how, how♪

- I haven't a clue!

- Let's ask someone.

Groove, move!

- Groove, come on.

We must ask someone.

But the question is, who?

♪ Who, who, who ♪

♪ Who, who, who, who, who ♪

♪ Who, who♪

- [Announcer] Hubba Hubba.

- Hubba Hubba?

- Mm-hm.

- Do you know how we can make

this small, flat, blue

floppy thing a poppy thing?

- Um, no Tula, I

can't say that I do.

It's definitely a balloon

because I know I

ordered a balloon.

Hm, hm, hm, ah.

There, I found a Tiddly

Peep story about popping.

That might help.

- [Narrator] Far away in

the Jelly Bean Jungle.

There lived a tiny

magical monkey called,

the Balloony Baboony.

His home was high up

in the jelly bean tree.

He was too shy to play

with the other animals

and he never made a sound.

- [Animals] He's no use.

- [Narrator] They would say.

- [Animal] And why is he

called the Balloony Baboony?

- [Narrator] One day the

parrot spotted something

or some one.

In fact, lots of someones.

Tramp, tramp, tramping

towards the jungle.

People, there were people

coming to their secret home.

Oh no!

The parrot opened his beak

and gave a loud squawk.

(squawking)

But still, the

people kept coming.

So the elephant made a

huge trumpeting noise.

(trumpeting elephant)

But still, the

people kept coming.

Then the lion gave

an almighty roar.

(growling)

But still, the

people kept coming.

Up in the jelly bean

tree the Balloony Baboony

was making a funny

wheezing sound.

Sucking in air as

fast as he could.

And as he sucked he got

bigger, and bigger, and bigger.

- [Parrot] Look at

the Balloony Baboony!

He's blowing himself up.

- [Narrator]

Squawked the parrot.

And just as the people

were about to set foot

in the Jelly Bean Jungle

the Balloony Baboony

went, pop!

- [People] Ah!

- [Narrator] Cried the people.

And they ran as fast as

their legs would carry them.

The other animals were amazed.

They would never say

the Balloony Baboony

was no use again.

And now they understood

why he was called

the Balloony Baboony.

(light music)

- Fan tabby Hooby!

We've got another pop.

- And what a pop it was.

My favorite so far.

- So, now we have four pops.

Except, we still haven't

figured out this one, have we?

- No, I wish I could go pop

like the Balloony Baboony.

- Well you can't, Groove.

You can't blow yourself up.

- That's it!

That's how we make

this balloon poppable.

We blow it up, just like

the Balloony Baboony.

- And I have just

the very thing.

(whistling)

Ah, ha, ha the Hooby tire pump.

If it can blow up Hooby tires

then it can blow

up that balloon.

- Oh, Groove you're a genius!

- Hey, it was nothing.

- Well, you get blowing, Groove

and hang our balloon

in the Hooby Studio.

- Now, if things go pop

when they're full of air

then maybe there's

something else we could fill

with air to make it go pop.

- You're full of

good ideas, Tula.

You should have a

day more often.

- [Announcer] Roma, Roma, Roma.

- Ah, here comes Roma!

Now perhaps she's found

something that'll pop.

- Hooble do, poobs.

Now, I'm in the middle

of an African plain

and behind me is

a pride of lions.

And because I heard that

Tula was having a day

I've given each one

of them Hooby buns.

- Great, Roma.

Um, do the lions go pop?

- Oh, I'll come to

that in a moment.

Now, I want to show you

something really Hoob-acious.

I've got my Hooby bun bag here

and I've discovered that

if I blow it up like this.

(heavy breathing)

- Roma, we just need to

know if a lion goes pop.

- Oh, Iver.

Excuse me, do you go pop?

No, but if you blow

a Hooby bun bag up

and then go like this.

(popping)

(growling)

It goes pop.

Well, lions may like Hooby buns,

but they don't

seem to like pops.

This is Roma Hoob running

away from a pride of lions.

Hooble Toodle do away!

- Right, so do we

have a Hooby bun bag?

- Do we have a Hooby bun

bag, I should say so.

Yup, here we are.

- Thank you.

- Now then, who wants

a toasted Hooby bun

to celebrate finding

our fifth pop?

- [Together] Me!

- I'll just go and stick

it in the Hooby toaster.

- And I'll blow up the bag.

We better test Roma's

pop out for ourselves.

- And I'll tidy up this mess.

(heavy breathing)

Wait!

Better check for lions.

- Oh, yes.

- [Together] No lions.

(popping)

(gasping)

- What was that pop?

- [Iver] It's okay, Groove.

- What?

- It was just the Hooby bun bag.

(giggling)

- Hey, hey, hey. Take

a look at this stuff.

It's like lots of

tiny tiny balloons.

All full of air.

Do you think it'll go pop?

- I think you should try it out.

We need as many pops as

fast as we can get them.

- Yeah.

- Okay, here goes.

(popping)

Well, jiggle my

twizzle top, it pops!

And I have just had

the Hoobiest idea.

- Oh come on, Hooby bun.

We haven't got all day.

It must be time for you to go

(twanging)

- Another pop!

That makes seven.

Only three more to find

and then we have .

Couldn't you just have

had a seven day, Tula.

- [Announcer]

Hubba Hubba, Hubba.

- Seven pops, Hoobs.

That's Hooble dooble duper!

- But not Hooble dooble

duper enough, Hubba Hubba.

- Oh, don't worry, Iver.

I'm sure the Tiddly

Peeps can help you

with some more popping.

- Oh.

- You go this time, Iver.

I need to make something.

- Yes, right.

Three more pops to be found!

- Yeah, but what

about your Hooby bun?

Just, nobody wants

a toasted Hooby bun.

(munching)

(upbeat music)

Look at these, aren't

they Hoob-acious?

They're called, oh

what are they called?

- Bubbles.

- Bubbles!

Oh that's it, yes,

bubbles, bubbles.

Woo, I wonder what

makes them stay up?

- The air inside them.

- Air?

- You blow the liquid to

make the bubbles like this.

- Oh yes.

Woo, they're very

pretty aren't they?

And they just sort of disappear.

- They pop.

- Yeah!

- They pop?

Groove, Groove, we

found another pop!

You see, we have to find pops

and with your bubbles

that makes eight, yes.

Two to go, two to go.

Do you know of anything

else that goes pop?

- [Child] Iver.

- Excuse me.

And, oh.

- I've got something that pops.

- You have?

Where?

- Here.

- Oh, but that doesn't

look very poppy to me.

What is it?

- Popcorn.

- What does it do?

- Well, it first

starts out like this

then when it's in the

pan it goes like that

and while it's cooking it pops.

- I see, and when

you've cooked it

what do you do with it?

- You eat it.

- You, you eat it!

(giggling)

Did you hear that, Groove?

Tiddly Peeps eat popping stuff.

Weird or what?

One more pop to go!

(upbeat music)

- I've made a Hooby

groovy bubble wand out

of something I found

in my collection

of things that

seem to have no use

but which might come

in useful someday.

Can I blow one, Iver?

- Uh, no not now.

Save it for Hoob News, Groove.

Here's the popcorn

from the Tiddly Peeps.

- And here's my Hoobly

groobly popping bow.

- [Groove] Oh, can I pop one?

- Later Groove, later.

Hey, I think we're

ready for Hoob News.

- But Iver, we've only got

nine things that go pop.

- Only nine?

- Yup, the big round balloon.

- Yeah, the popping weasel.

- The (popping).

- Yeah, the Balloony Baboony.

- The Hooby bun bag.

- The Hooby bun

out of the toaster.

- My Hooby groovy popping bow.

- The bubble.

- And the popcorn.

- Nine, that's nine,

there's only nine!

Where on earth are we going

to find another pop now?

Well, it's too late.

It's too late.

No, there must be another

huge pop out there somewhere.

- A huge pop.

A terrific pop.

It's probably right

under our noses.

- A pop to end all pops.

(light music)

- [Together] The Hoobo Fizz!

- I hope it's ready to go pop.

What if it isn't

ready to go pop?

Quick, it's time to share our

pops with Hoobs everywhere.

- No Timp, the weasel

never went bang.

- It didn't?

- Absolutely not.

- Ta-da, how does it look?

Well, well?

- How does it sound?

Oh, can I pop it now, Tula?

Can I, can I?

- Not now, Groove.

- And how about

all these balloons?

I got Hubba Hubba to

send me some more.

Don't they look fan tabby Hooby?

- [Announcer]

Hubba Hubba, Hubba.

- Are you ready

for my Hooba-Pedia, Hoobs?

- We're ready, Hubba Hubba.

Hooble do whoop, to all

of you Hoobs out there.

Welcome to Hoob News.

I'm Iver.

- I'm Tula.

- And I'm Groove.

- Today we've been

asking the question.

- What goes pop?

- And because I'm having a

day we've been hunting

for things that go pop.

Pop number one (popping)

is a big, round balloon.

- [Iver] Which you

have to fill with air.

- [Tula] To make it poppable.

- [Iver] The Tiddly Peeps

told us about pop number two.

You make it by sticking

your finger in your mouth.

- [Tula] And pop number three

is the Hooble dooble

duper, popping weasel.

- [Groove] Number

four on the pop charts

is the magic Balloony

Baboony, my favorite.

The Balloony Baboony goes pop.

- [Iver] Then Roma

found us something else

we could fill with

air, a Hooby bun bag.

So that's pop number five.

- Then I found pop

number six when

the Hooby bun popped

out of the toaster.

- [Tula] And I found

pop number seven

and made my Hooby groovy

popping bow out of it.

- [Iver] Pop number eight

came from the Tiddly Peeps

who were blowing

bubbles which went, pop!

- [Tula] And they gave

us pop number nine,

the popcorn which goes,

pop before you eat it.

- [Together] We nearly

forgot the best pop of all.

- Yeah, the pop to end all pops.

- And that's the pop

you get when you take

the Hoob nip out of the

bottle of Hoobo Fizz.

- Please let it be ready to pop.

♪ Hoobo Fizz, Hoobo Fizz,

bubbling to the top ♪

♪ And when we take

the Hoob nip out, ♪

♪ The Hoobo Fizz goes♪

(popping)

- [Together] Hoob, Hoob, hooray!

- So it's thanks once again to

Iver, Tula, Groove, and Roma

for giving us all a little

peep into the world of peeps.

Remember, wherever you

are have a nice day

and Hooble toodle do!

- [Together] Hooble toodle do!

- Hey Tula, can I pop you now?

- Of course you can, Groove.

- Come on.

- There you go. (popping)
