- Hoobledoop, Tiddlypeeps.

I'm Hubba Hubba, talking

to you from Hoobland.

And I'm about to send

four of my favorite hoobs

down to earth to find

out all about you

for my great hoobopedia.

Here they come!

(cosmic whooshing)

♪You know who the hoobs are! ♪

♪ Iver, ♪

♪ Groove, ♪

♪ And Tula! ♪

♪ We're Hoobs! ♪

♪ And they're ready to go! ♪

♪ Well, hey! ♪

♪ Now the wheels are turning, ♪

♪ we can all get learning, ♪

♪ all the things

we want to know. ♪

- Yeah, Hey!

♪ Hubba Hubba's in Hoobland, ♪

♪ And Roma's

somewhere far away. ♪

♪ Oh, oh, oh ♪

♪ The motorrettes are singing. ♪

♪ We keep the engine spinning. ♪

♪ Hoob hoob hooray! ♪

♪ The Hoobaville is

coming your way. ♪

- Oh here we come!

- Well, hey!

- Ah!

♪The hoobs are here,

so what do ya say? ♪

Hoobs!

(humming)

- Do ya know, it's

been a age since

I've sorted out the

colletion of sticky things.

Heh.

(laughs)

How hooby-groovy is that, eh?

- Hm, take it off

right now, please.

- Oh, sorry, Tula.

(rip)

(squeals)

- Hoobledoop.

- Hoobledoop, Iver.

- Hoobledoop, Iver.

- Whatchu doing?

Can I lend a helping paw?

- Uh, no thanks, Iver.

I'm just tidying

my hooblebits box.

- Oh. All right.

How about you, Groove?

- Just going through my stickey

things collection, Iver.

And it's still sticky as ever.

(laughs)

- Let me have a look.

- Oh hoobeygalooby, I've never

seen so many sticky things!

You got tape, lolli

wrappers, sticky weed,

there's all sorts of-

- Yes, I know, Iver.

Do you mind if I get on?

- Oh.

Well I'm sorry.

(sad music)

(sniffles)

You're both so lucky.

(sad music continues)

You're really, really lucky.

- Are we?

- Why?

♪ Why, why, why? ♪

♪ Why? ♪

- Because you have

hobbies, that's why.

You make things, Tula.

And Groove, you collect things.

I don't really do anything.

- Oh, Iver, you do!

You do, well, you,

you um, you uh.

You do lot's of things!

- Do I?

- Of course you do.

Doesn't he, Groove?

Groove!

- What?

- Iver does lots of things!

- Does he?

- Yeah, you see?

Neither of you can

think of anything.

- Oh, cheer up, Iver.

I'm sure we'll come up with

something for you to do.

- Yes, Groove!

Now, what could

Iver do as a hobby?

- [Hubba] (echoes) Hubba Hubba

- You really asked the question!

- What could Iver do as a hobby?

Ah-ha, now hoobs everywhere

will want to know about hobbies.

- Yes, Hubba Hubba,

and by the end of today

Iver will have a

hobby of his very own.

- Well then, let me find

you something on Hooblet

to start you off

on your hobby hunt.

Ah-ha, here we go.

Now, Hoobs, this

really is fascinating.

Can you see how fast

these peep cars,

and motorcycles can go?

Look at them move!

They are so quick, aren't they?

They're racing!

They're seeing how

fast they can go!

- Oh, hobacious!

That's it, racing

can be my hobby!

Well, I like doing

everything fast, don't I?

- Oh, yes!

Racing is a great idea!

But, what are you going to race?

- Um, I could race..

I could race the hoobmobile!

- The hoobmobile, of course!

- We gonna race too?

- Yeah, I know, I know,

to the tiddlypeeps!

Then they could tell me

whether they think racing

is the perfect hobby

for a speedy hoob!

- Ah, good on you, Iver!

- Would you take it

off please, Groove?

- Hm? Oh.

(rips)

(Ow!)

Sorry, Iver.

- Hey Groove, are you

going to race with me?

- Well, I would Iver, but

sorting out these sticky things

is proving a little bit trickier

and stickier than I thought.

- I will, Iver!

I would love to race with you!

- Oh, hoobacious!

Let's get those

motorettes singing

faster than they've

ever sung before!

(excited cheering)

Seatbelt, Tula

- Yes!

- We're off to race

to the tiddlypeeps!

On our marks, get set,

GO!

(chimes)

- [Iver and Tula]

Hoop hoop hooray!

♪ We're off to see

the tiddlypeeps, ♪

♪ On the road we go! ♪

♪ We're off to see

the tiddlypeeps, ♪

♪ They're smart, they're

fun, they know! ♪

♪ The tiddlypeeps,

the tiddlypeeps ♪

♪ On the road we go! ♪

- (chuckles) woohoo!

♪ On the road we go! ♪

♪ We're off to see

the tiddlypeeps. ♪

(cheering)

- We're racing!

- Yay! Go Iver, go!

(laughs)

- Um, We're slowing down, Tula.

- Oh dear.

Perhaps the motorettes

are getting tired.

(ringing noises)

(sighs)

(heavy breathing)

- What was that all about?

- I don't know,

but I need a drink.

- Me too.

- We stopped.

- Yes. Ya know, Tula,

I'm not sure that

race felt quite right.

Something was missing.

- Well, why don't I go

and ask the tiddlypeeps

if that was a proper race?

- Oh, that's a good idea, Tula.

And while you do that,

I'll go and give the

motorettes a drink.

You know, I'm a bit

worried about them.

(chuckles)

- Hoobledoop, Tiddlypeep.

- Hoobledoop, Tula!

- Do you want to

do a hooby-hello?

- Yes!

- [Tiddlypeep and Tula]

Hoobledee, hoobledee,

woop, woop, woop!

- Oh! What have you

got around your neck?

- They're called binoculars.

You use them to see

things that are far away!

- Just like a hoobey-seemore!

What you looking for?

- Birds!

- Birds?

Well, I'm looking

for a hobby for Iver!

We've tried racing.

Iver raced the

hooberville, actually!

- Who did he race against?

- Against?

No-

no one.

We just kind of went fast!

- But you have to

race against someone

to have a proper race.

- Oh, I suppose that's why

it didn't feel quite right.

- What I'm doing is a hobby!

It's call bird watching!

- Oh! What do you have to do?

- You look through

the binoculars

and try to see as many

different birds as you can!

- Ah, is it hard to do?

- No, it's easy.

You just got to

be quiet and wait.

- Oh, I'm sure Iver can do that.

(chuckles)

He could use our hoobey-seemore!

That is a great idea!

Hoobletoodledoo!

- Hoobletoodledoo!

(happy upbeat music)

- Oh! I see you've got

the hoobey-seemore!

- Oh yes, Tula.

I'm just on up to the

hoobey roof garden

to start bird watching!

It's going to be a

hoobacious hobby!

I can't wait!

- I've got a lollipop

stuck to my face.

- Oh, Groove.

Come here, let me sort you out.

- All right now, let's-

(screaming)

see.

Ah, I'm sure some birds

might visit the hoobnip tree.

So if I just stay here and wait

using the hoobey-seemore,

I should be able

to see them really clearly!

(chuckles)

When they arrive.

Yes.

I'm sure some birds will

flutter down any moment.

(soft happy music)

♪ I'm a hoob without a hobby. ♪

♪ But that won't

last too long. ♪

♪ I know I'll have a hobby

before I finish my song. ♪

♪ Tula's best at

making things, ♪

♪ I'm a bit of a botcher. ♪

♪ Groove is a great collector, ♪

♪ But I'm going to be the

greatest bird watcher. ♪

♪ Any moment now ♪

♪ I'd like to see

something wonderful ♪

♪ Any moment now ♪

(ripping sound)

♪ My dream will come true ♪

♪ I'm going to look through

the hoobey-seemore ♪

♪ I'm going to shoutout,

ooh, and wow! ♪

♪ When a lock or a dove

flutters down from above. ♪

♪ Any moment now. ♪

(ripping sound)

- That is the last

sticky lolli paper

- Thanks, Tula!

- No, don't sit down there!

That's where all the

sticky lolli papers are!

- Ah, I bet they're stuck to my-

- Yes, Groove, bend over.

♪ This takes a

lot of patience. ♪

♪ It takes a lot of skill. ♪

♪ I mustn't jiggle, or

wriggle, or fidget, or fuss. ♪

♪ I have to keep

perfectly still. ♪

(sigh)

- Okay now, Groove,

please do not sit

or rub against, or touch

anything else that's sticky.

- Tula, you have my word.

However, I do just

wanna show you

the stickies, most

hoobey-groovey thing I've got.

It's in here somewhere.

- Groove, no!

(grunts)

(gasp)

- Oh, Tula!

- Don't ask me to

unstick everything again!

You will have to ask Iver!

- But I

- No but's, Groove!

Just go.

(sigh)

♪ Any moment now. ♪

♪ Any moment now. ♪

♪ I'm going to see

something wonderful ♪

♪ Any moment now. ♪

♪ Any moment now. ♪

♪ My dream will come true. ♪

♪ I'm going to look through

the hoobey-seemore. ♪

♪ I'm going to shout

out ooh, and wow! ♪

♪ When a lock or a dove

flutters down from above. ♪

♪ Any moment now. ♪

(bird noises)

Hoobey-galooby!

I've never seen a

bird like that before.

Maybe I've discovered

a rare animal

living up here on

the roof garden!

(laughs) Tula, Groove!

- (rustling) What?!

Oh, Groove, it's you!

I thought you were

a rare animal!

- Well, quite a

rare Hoob. (laughs)

I just wanted to-

could you unstick me?

- Oh, yes, yes of course.

Come here then.

Oh dear.

(ripping noise)

(scream)

(humming)

- Oh!

How was the bird watching, Iver?

- Oh, it's not the

hobby for me, Tula.

You have to sit around waiting,

and waiting, and waiting.

And I get far to

fidgety to do that.

- La la la la la la

Sticky, sticky, sticky!

- So, you still need a hobby!

- Yes, but what?

♪ What, what what? ♪

♪ What? ♪

- Perhaps Roma will know what!

(cosmic whoosh)

- Hoobledoop, Hoobs!

- [Iver, Groove, and

Tula] Hoobledoop, Roma!

- Now, Hubba Hubba tells me that

Iver is looking for a hobby!

- That's right, Roma!

- Well, Iver, I think

I may have found

just the thing for you!

Right here with

these tiddlypeeps!

- Oh, Roma! That's hoobacious!

What are they doing?

- They're swapping, Iver!

- They look like they're just

giving things to each other!

- Not quite giving,

Tula, swapping!

Tiddlypeeps collect all

sorts of different things!

- They, they collect?

- That's it, Groove.

Swapping is a fantabby

hooby way, to see what

other Tiddlypeeps

have collected!

And also to make your

collection even better!

- How does swapping work, Roma?

- Well, Groove, you

can swap something

that you've got two

of for something that

someone else has two

of but you don't have!

- Have you tried

any swapping, Roma?

- As a matter of

fact, I have, Tula!

I've swapped some

pictures I've collected

of places that I've been on my

travels around the universe!

- And what did you

get back, Roma?

- A tiddlypeep gave

me these, Groove!

Postcards of places

here on the peep planet!

I had lots of pictures

of the planet Zog,

so I swapped one

of them for this!

Look, it's your Cathedral!

- Hoobey groovey!

- Very hoobey groovey, Groove!

- And guess what!

I can take these

back to Hoobland

and swap them with other hoobs

for pictures of

places I haven't been.

- So swapping just keeps going!

- [Roma] On and on, Tula!

What a hoobacious hobby, eh?

I think I'm going

to keep swapping

for the rest of the day!

This is Roma Hoob, off to

see what else I can get!

Hoobletoodledoo!

- [Iver, Groove,

Tula] Hoobletoodledoo!

- How hoobey groovey is that?

If I were you, Iver, I'd

have swapping as my hobby!

- Do you want to start

swapping things, Iver?

- Not really.

To get into swapping, I'd

have to start collecting.

And collecting things

is Grooves hobby.

- It certainly is,

collecting is hoobey groovey.

- (sigh) Ya might as well

start calling me No Hobby Iver.

- Come, come, Iver.

Don't get down!

Look, a tiddlypeep has

sent in a hoobacious story!

- Will it give me an idea

for a hobby, Hubba Hubba?

- Do you know something, Iver?

I think it just might!

(cosmic whooshing)

- [Tiddlypeep] One morning,

two little bears were

stuck inside the

house making a noise.

- Will you stop

making all that noise?

- [Tiddlypeep]

Cried Mother Bear.

- What should we make instead?

- [Tiddlypeep] Asked

the first little bear.

- Why don't you go outside

and find something to make?

- [Tiddlypeep] So off they

ran, roaring into the woods.

Soon they came across a

spider spinning a web!

- Let's make a web!

- [Tiddlypeep] Said

the first little bear.

But the little bears

couldn't make a web

because their paws

were far too big

to make something so delicate.

So they tumbled on.

They came across a beaver

making a dam in a river.

- Let's make a dam!

- [Tiddlypeep] Said

the second little bear.

But soon they realized that

they would have

to cut down trees

and swim under water a lot.

So they tumbled on.

Next, they saw a

bird building a nest,

high up in a tree!

- Let's make a nest!

- [Tiddlypeep] Cried

the first little bear.

- The nest could be our home!

- But we already have a home!

- [Tiddlypeep] Said

the second little bear.

- And it's time

to go back to it!

- [Tiddlypeep] So they

tumbled back home.

(roaring)

- Did you find anything to make?

- [Tiddlypeep]

Asked Mother Bear.

- [First Little Bear and

Second Little Bear] Not really.

- [Tiddlypeep] They replied.

- Never mind!

- [Tiddlypeep] Said Mother Bear.

- I've made something for you!

A yummy lunch!

- [Tiddlypeep] So the little

bears sat down to lunch,

and made something they

were really good at making-

A great big mess!

- That was a hoobley

groobley story!

- Yes it was hoobacious but um,

it was all about making things.

Well, making things

is your hobby, Tula.

- But it could be

your hobby too, Iver!

Why don't you give it a try?

- Yeah, go on Iver,

you've made things before!

I've got a whole collection

of things he's tried to make.

Heh, I'll go and get it.

- Now, what could you make?

Here we go!

- It won't be any use.

- Why not?

- I'm no good at making things!

- Here it is!

My collection of things

that Iver tried to make.

Oh, yeah, this one,

Ahh, see this?

- That is a lovely cow, Iver!

- It's supposed to be a dog.

- Oh.

- Yeah, and this here,

look, this is the hoobmobile!

(chuckles) that's hoobeygroovey!

- Do you really

think so, Groove?

- Aw, yes, Iver!

That's why it's

in my collection!

- Thanks!

- Oh, Groove, what ever

have you got there?

(laughs) it looks like something

I might have tried to make.

I'm awfully bad

at making things.

- Actually Hubba Hubba, that's

something I tried to make.

- Oh.

- Oh, I'm just not a

making things kind of hoob.

- No, well, not to worry, Iver.

Neither am I!

We're all good at

different things, you see?

- Mm, well I can't find the

thing I'm good at, Hubba Hubba.

- Then I think you should

go to some tiddlypeeps!

They have all sorts of hobbies!

They're sure to find

just the hobby for you!

- Come on Iver, I'll drive you.

- Well, Groove has a

hobby, he collects things.

And Tula has a hobby,

she makes things.

- But why is that

making you fed up, Iver?

- Well, because I

don't have a hobby.

I don't do anything.

- Well there must be something

you like doing, Iver.

- Um, well, I like

answering questions.

Questions are hoobacious.

But that's not really a hobby.

- It's perfect!

We were just about

to have a quiz!

- What's a quiz?

- It's when someone

asks you questions.

- And you have to

tell them the answer.

Welcome to Hoobnews.

The new show for

hoobs everywhere.

I'm Iver.

- I'm Tula!

- And I'm Groove.

- And today we've been

asking a question;

- What could Iver do as a hobby?

- [Groove] First of

all, Hubba Hubba showed

some pictures of racing.

- [Iver] So I raced

the hoobmobile to

see some tiddlypeeps.

- [Tula] But the

tiddlypeeps told us

that a race isn't really a race

unless you race

against something.

- [Iver] So then I

tried bird watching.

But I didn't enjoy all

that waiting around.

- [Tula] Next, Roma

told us all about

swapping things for a hobby!

- But to have things to swap,

you've got to collect things!

And that's Groove's hobby.

- [Tula] Hubba Hubba showed

us a hoobily groobily story

about two little bears who were

looking for things to make.

- But making things

is Tula's hobby.

- [Groove] So Iver went

to see the tiddlypeeps

to see if they could

suggest a hobby,

especially for him.

- [Tula] And you know what?

They had the perfect

hobby for Iver!

- [Tula, Iver, Groove]

Answering questions!

- Right.

I've got one for

(clears throat) What do you

call something you do for fun?

- Uh, a hobby!

- Yes!
