down to earth to find

- Oh, some paper.

I want to make a list of

things I've been right about

for my "things Groove was

It's a bunch of heeble berries!

Heeble berries are really rare!

They hardly ever grow!

And it means I can

- Well actually Tula,

it's not that clever.

There are hoob loads of

peep trees that grow fruit.

- Oh, really?

- I'll tell you what.

Apples, pears, and

oranges for three.

- Ah, but the heeble leaf

tree doesn't just grow fruit.

It does hoob loads

of other things too.

- Oh, well, so do peep trees.

Yeah, in fact they probably

do even more things than

the heeble leaf tree.

Trust me Tula, this is something

I'm definitely right about.

- Okay.

So what can you do with a

peep tree that you can't do

with a heeble leaf tree?

I've tended my heeble leaf tree

with loving care for years,

but it's never, ever,

ever grown berries.

I don't suppose you

gardening tips could you?

of animals like to make

their homes in trees.

yes, they love to make

the trees their homes,

because there's plenty of

space and plenty of light!

hoob loads of creatures

make their homes

in heeble leaf trees.

Here is a hooble pecker's nest,

and up there is the pod

of a fluffle hopper.

And here is a twizzle

bug's hidey hole.

Where are they all?

- They couldn't

come with us Groove.

They have all made new

homes in heeble leaf trees

back in Hoob Land.

- But it does mean the heeble

leaf tree is home to just

as many creatures

as the peep trees.

So that's one all.

- One all?

What are doing Iver?

I'm keeping score.

- Keeping score?

Well if this is going to be

something I'm right about

then what I need is someone

who knows all about peep trees!

I think your little

hoobie creatures

have made homes in

There's a little hooble

pecker in his nest.

- Awww.

- And up there is the little

fluffle hopper in his pod.

(delighted sighing)

And round here I found the

twizzle bug in his hidey hole.

(softly sighing)

How hoobaceous is that?

- Very hoobaceous Hubba Hubba!

But you still don't have

any heeble berries do you?

- No!

Now, I was wondering.

What do you feed your

heeble leaf tree on Tula?

- Oh!

Hoobygoop Hubba Hubba.

- Hoobygoop.

Oh!

I've been using hoobnip jam.

I'll try goop, and see if that

makes heeble berries grow.

- Hubba Hubba, excuse me

- Hmmm.

- Ah, hoobs.

I've just found a lovely

story that a tiddly peep has

sent in to Hooblet.

Take a look.

(computer warbling)

[Narrator] - Lyle

was going on holiday,

and the thing he was

looking forward to the most

was playing under the sun.

- Hi ya Lyle!

[Narrator] - Said the sun.

[Lyle] - Hi ya sun!

[Narrator] - Said Lyle.

I'm going to play

underneath you all day long!

[Narrator] - So Lyle did

his best rollie pollies,

his fastest running,

and his highest jumps ever!

(spring bouncing)

But soon he realized he was

feeling very hot, and tired!

- I think I better introduce

you to a good friend of mine.

The tree!

- But it's all dark

and shady under there!

I won't be able to play!

- Hi ya Lyle,

[Narator] - said the tree.

- Hi ya tree,

[Narrator] - said

Lyle, grumpily.

- You know, you can do just

as many things in the shade

as you can in the sun!

- Like what?

- Well, you can read,

or draw, or do puzzles,

or you can just sit with leaves

rustling above your head.

[Narrator] - And as Lyle

sat in the shade with the

leafy branches he began

to feel cool and comfy.

- Actually, I like

it under here.

(kazoo whistling)

- Well, whenever

you need some shade,

you know where I am!

[Sun] - And whenever

you need some sun

[Narrator] - said the sun,

peeping down through

the branches,

- you know where I am!

[Narrator] - And from

then on, Lyle spent

just as much time

playing in the shade

as he did playing under the sun.

Which is exactly

how it should be.

(amused laughing)

- See I'm definitely right!

That peep tree shaded

Lyle from the hot sun.

Yeah, how clever is that?

- Well, I'm sure the

heeble leaf tree could too.

Come on!

Let's try it out.

- But Tula, it's not sunny!

(disappointed groaning)

- There are too many clouds!

- I really need to see if the

heeble leaf tree is shady!

is doing really well.

can do with a peep tree

that you can't do with

a heeble leaf tree.

- Well, if anyone

knows it's Roma.

(video phone warbling)

- Hooble doop hoobs!

- Hooble doop Roma!

- Now Hubba Hubba tells

me you're finding out

all about peep trees.

[Groove] - Yeah.

- Well hoobs, I've found

out the most hoobaceous

thing there is!

You're not going

to believe this!

Look what comes from trees!

- Chairs? Chairs grow on trees?

- No, no, no Groove!

Chairs don't actually

grow on trees,

but they're made from the

wood that comes from trees.

- Yeah, but it's still

pretty clever though!

- So, how do you get

wood from trees Roma?

- Well Tula,

first trees are chopped down,

then they're brought

to places like this

called timber yards.

Here they get cut up into huge

flat pieces called planks,

and from these planks all

wooden things are made.

- Oh, what sort of things Roma?

- Oh, almost anything

you like Iver.

Tables, bowls,

spoons, houses even!

- That settles it!

Peep trees are

definitely the winners!

Oh, one other thing

you should know hoobs,

it's very important that not

all trees are chopped down.

Lots should be left to grow.

Because, and this

is the amazing bit,

apparently they help make the

air that the peeps breathe.

- Hoobie galoobie!

Peep trees are so clever!

- They certainly are Groove!

Well, I'm off to have a

go at making something

out of wood myself.

for a good old whittle.

- Oh, peep trees are even

more clever than I thought.

You can make things out of them.

- Well, Groove, I'd like you

- And a basket.

- Oh, yes!

That stem makes a good handle.

- And an occasional table.

- Well, Groove, I

think it's a draw!

(frustrated groaning)

- Does this mean that there's

nothing you can do with a

peep tree that you can't

do with a heeble leaf tree?

- Looks like it.

- Paper is made from trees!

- How does it work?

- Well wood gets mushed

up into tiny pieces,

and then mixed with water.

- What's that called?

- Pulp!

You spread the pulp out,

the water dries away,

and then you've got

a sheet of paper.

- Did you see Tula?

- I certainly did.

- Peep trees are so clever!

Well I better get back

to the the hoob mobile.

asking the question,

with a peep tree that

a heeble leaf tree?

[Groove] - First Hubba

Hubba showed us lots of

pictures of creatures

who live in peep trees.

[Tula] - But then I

showed Iver and Groove

all the homes that

hoob creatures make

in the heeble leaf tree.

[Iver] - Then Groove

visited the tiddly peeps,

and they showed him the

peep trees are hoobaceous

places to play.

[Tula] - But then I

showed Iver and Groove a

hoobly groobly game

you can play around the

heeble leaf tree.

[Groove] - Then Hubba

Hubba found a story about

Lyle who used a peep tree

to shade from the sun.

[Iver] - So we tested it

out on the heeble leaf tree.

[Tula] - Which turned

out to be just as shady.

[Groove] - Then Roma

showed us some hoovy groovy

things you can make out of wood,

which comes from peep trees.

[Tula] - But then I

showed Iver and Groove all

the things I've made

from my heeble leaf tree.

[Groove] - But then a

tiddly peep showed me

something really special.

- Paper!

You make paper from peep trees!

- Fantabyhooby!

for giving hoobs everywhere
