We got to get those hammocks out and take a nap.

The hammock's moving.

What's a baby ring-tailed lemur

Doing here alone in animal junction?

I bet zoboo would know. Let's call him.

Martin: yeah. Here he comes.

Chris: come on in, zob.

Hey, zoboo!

Guess what. There's a baby ring-tailed lemur here.

It's little leaper.

I almost forgot-- zoboo's snack.

You know zoboo won't yak till he's had his snack.

Zoboo's a sifaka, and little leaper is a ring-tail,

But they're both lemurs and leapers.

It's a leaping lemur fest.

Only a really good snack will slow zoboo down now--

Garbanzo beans.

Chris: zoboo, I found some garbanzo beans!

Zoboo loves garbanzo beans.

[Burp]

You smell ok, but you look terrible.

We're worn out from creature adventuring.

All we need is a good long sleep.

We're awake but kind of wet.

I don't know. It's a mystery.

A baby lemur wouldn't leave her mom for long.

So let's take care of her.

Chris and I have to take a nap.

They were popping out everywhere,

Kitteny creatures with clumsy feet.

Claw-pawed kitten jumpers. Do you know who they are?

Chris: whiskers and a stubby tail.

Big ears and clumsy feet.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Yeah. Lynx kittens.

I was thinking bobcat kittens.

Lynx kittens. You were right, martin.

And bobcat kittens. You were right, chris.

Say, you're both right. Your mystery animals are here!

There are two mystery animals!

Lynx and bobcats look a lot alike, especially when they're kittens.

If you look closely, you can see that the lynx kitten is tanner.

The bobcat kitten has a spotty pattern.

Spots. I see them.

So lynx kitten...

And bobcat kitten.

But why are all these babies turning up here alone?

Hmm. It's a mystery.

Whatever the reason, we have to take care of these babies.

Animal junction is an animal daycare.

It could only happen here.

I can take care of babies. You guys can take a nap.

Taking care of babies is easy.

Hey, where did little leaper go? She was just here.

We have to find her.

Chris: zob, you look after the kittens.

Stay right here. Watch the edge.

Hey, where are you going? Wait here.

Don't go anywhere. So I guess it's just you and me.

Chris: little leaper! Little leaper!

Huh. Where is she?

Tell us if you see the baby lemur.

She found us.

Is that somebody behind you?

Isn't zoboo supposed to be watching the kittens?

Oh, no! The closet! Don't go in there.

Whew! That was close. You got to watch this closet.

The lynx kitten was saved, but...

The closet got chris again.

Chris: anytime. Now, we need a safe place for these babies.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Yeah. Let's build a creature playpen.

Yeah. Use soft stuff. Babies like that.

Martin: gotcha, zob.

Huh? Huh?

Ok. The creature playpen is ready!

Now, let's get those kittens in here.

Lynx are over here. I see some bobcats.

One kitten, two kitten...

They're coming to get you now.

Oh. Kittens, kittens...

Kittens, kittens. That's everybody.

Bobcats and lynx.

You can have your nap now!

To the hammocks.

[Kitten screeching]

They're definitely hungry.

I'll get some milk. Ok.

[Clanking and rattling]

What's going on?

Let me try, martin. It usually works for me.

Whoa! It's really broken this time!

Bobcat milk!more bobcat milk!

Hmm.

[Slurp]

Lynx milk. Mangatsika! It's warm.

I guess the snack machine was just warming up the milk.

Here we go. Time to feed the kittens.

No, no. Take the nipple. There you go.

Wow. Boy, you must be hungry.

Martin: he's chugging it down!

And I think he's all filled up.

You done? All right.

Chris: this other little bobcat's drinking the spilled milk.

There you go.

Ha ha ha!

Zoboo: this is a lot of work.

All right. Another kitten is full.

Chris is feeding two at a time.

Takes practice.

Yep. You'll be vookey soon.

Baby creatures sure take a lot of looking after.

Are you full? This one is vookey.

Good job, zob. I think they're all full.

Yep, and after a good meal,

Most cats like to clean themselves off before going to sleep.

I think drinking all this milk has made the kittens tired.

I think it made chris and martin tired, too. Ha ha!

Oh, everybody is sleeping.

Oh, well. Guess I'll go and leap around.

Mangatsika! Look.

A silver fox kit. He must have been sleeping under there.

Why?

I don't know, zob.

Let's bring him to the playpen.

Coatis! Maybe they want to play

With the kittens and the kit. Did I forget anybody?

A coati's nose never stops. Look at them.

Yeah.

They're just babies, but they're already sniffing everything.

They're so curious.

A coati's climbing up my shoulder!

Good climber.

He sure is. Look.

Look at these guys.

He's playing with the lynx's paw.

He's asleep. Careful now.

The lynx doesn't even care.

These lynx can sleep with coatis crawling all over them.

I'm getting tired just watching them.

Let's see what this coati gets his nose into.

The fox's mouth!

The fox has fox breath!

I think the kittens are starting to wake up.

They want to play now.

The fox wants to play, too.

Usually you don't see different species playing together,

But animal junction is a special place.

This could only happen here.

This is like having a puppy and a kitten playing together.

A fox is a kind of wild dog.

The baby creatures wore the kratt brothers out. They're asleep.

So how about a story from zobooland?

I was leaping along-- leap, leap, leap-- clear across zobooland.

I was tired. Then guess who showed up.

Zoboo!

Race with us. Yeah. Race with us.

Sure.

So I raced with sensit, snow lemur, and slimantha.

That got me really pooped.

But then bugly came.

No nappin'! Time for flappin'! Come on!

Let's buzz!

And that's what we did. We buzzed around.

Oh. Hi, zoboo. Hi, bugly.

It was fun but made me even more tired.

Want to slide down my back?

I can never say no to a friend.

Whee!

Again! Again!

But all that sliding made me so tired...

Whoa!

I just fell asleep.

Zoboo?

[Snoring]

Zoboo: I guess they couldn't stay awake anymore.

I'm glad I didn't have to look after them by myself.

Yeah. Moonface the barn owl.

Moonface's toenails are sharp.

They're digging into my head.

Yeah. An owl's toenails are called talons,

And they are really sharp.

Just like a kitten's claws.

Hey, a message from jackie.

The animal helpers and I were picking blueberries

When we saw a baby robin on the ground.

He must have fallen from his nest.

We had to do something.

We knew just what to do. We made him a new nest

With a blueberry basket and some grass.

It was nice and comfy for the baby bird.

We found a safe tree and put the basket where it wouldn't fall.

Now his mom can find him and feed him.

Bird moms are great moms.

Jackie is right. Bird moms make great moms.

There are plenty of great parents in the creature world.

Climbing mountains is a great way

To see animals and their babies.

And I got a bird's-eye view of...

Chris: dall sheep live in northern mountains.

They are great climbers.

There's an older sheep taking them all for a run.

Let's run like dall sheep.

Yeah.

Martin, let me see those binoculars.

What is it?

There are a lot of creatures moving

Across the plains-- bison!

Let's get down there.

Going down!

Yeah!

Down to the bison!

All right!

Grasslands, here we come!

Hold it! Bison!

Bison are the biggest native north american land mammal.

Yeah. Bison are big, and they live in big herds.

These big herds protect and look after the bison calves.

This gives the bison calves a chance to practice being bison.

What's that little guy doing?

It looks like he's trying to get the other calf to play.

Hey, and it worked! All right!

Guess it's time to get back.

Chris: it was cool seeing different creatures

Taking care of their babies.

I wonder what zoboo's up to.

Zoboo: hold it. I'll get you a snack in a second. Wait.

What's going on in there? Come on.

Help! Animal junction is animal daycare again.

They all want to do different stuff.

Chris: we'll help.

Oh, good.

This is a fennec fox. Look at those ears.

When she gets older, they'll stick straight up,

Like that, but they'll still be huge.

Big ears are good!

Fennec foxes live in the hot deserts.

The bottom of her paw is covered with hair so it doesn't burn.

I can't believe my mind!

Martin: how about these paws? I love how when a cat

Gets his paw wet, it sometimes shakes.

Yeah. See what I mean?

Uh-oh.

I think she saw zoboo's tail.

Ha ha! The servals love my tail.

Come on, you guys. Can you catch it?

[Laughing]

They can't catch it. Whoa!

Ha ha! They got me. Ohh!

Taking care of these babies reminds me of one time in zobooland.

I was sleeping along-- sleep, sleep, sleep,

When all of a sudden...

Hey, zoboo! Are you sleeping?

I'm not sleeping anymore.

I'm alone. Can you puppy-sit me?

I'm a dinosaur puppy.
