So, in case you missed
my last post,

let me catch you up.

Things were totally
cuckoo-banana-bread.

Heavy on the nuts.

I was at a mermaid convention
with my friends,

staying at the same hotel
where my whole family
was vacationing,

while my dad judged
a film festival.

Nikki made these amazing
mermaid costumes,

which we hoped would impress
Fairuza Ukwani,

the Mermaid Queen.

[screams] Whoa!

-Oh no!
-[crashing]

-[crowd gasps]
-But that wasn't going so well.

Meanwhile, Chelsea,
Skipper and Stacie

were pulling a huge prank
on me.

Moving me and my friends' stuff
into my family's room.

Hilarious, right?

Well, it would've been,
I guess,

if there hadn't been
a thief on the loose,

and my sisters hadn't been
caught mid-prank

by a security guard!

We got 'em.
Caught 'em red-handed.

So, yeah.

Mermaids! Mysteries!
Monkeys!

And that's only the beginning.

[tropical music]

Fairuza Ukwani, the Mermaid
Queen herself!

I've seen her label in every
swimsuit I've ever owned!

I'm so nervous,
my palms are sweaty!

In that case, you'd better hand

so one of us can
take your picture.

of the fashion show!

not be our thieves,

but it's fishy, I'll say that.

It seemed a little risky

but hear me out.

I had the opportunity to prove
that my sisters were innocent,

and to make sure
nothing interfered with
the fashion show,

and it was my Mom's
special necklace.

I had to make sure
we got it back.

Can't we just call the front
desk and alert security?

Somehow, I think a call from
the prime suspect saying

"It's not us, it's a monkey"
isn't gonna fly.

All we need is some proof.
Then, security will take over.

that room with the telescope.

my poor sisters were still
in pretty serious trouble.

I had no idea
what to do next.

But then, the funniest
thing happened.

I put my hand in my pocket.

And that's when I realized,

the monkey bait idea
wasn't so bad after all.

You know what?

We can catch the monkey

and do the fashion show
at the same time.

It's time to catch a thief.

[woman on PA]:
Ladies and gentlemen,

please welcome our judge,
King Neptune

and his Ocean Monkeys!

[monkey chatters]

It could be any of them!

It was kind of unbelievable.

We understand.

to monkeys anymore.

Well, since we kind of
got interrupted,
