(comm beeping)

- Hey Dad, Rad's on the line.

- Hey Dr Jones, what's up?

Do you have any new

information on the Miranda II?

- No, I'm sorry, Doctor.

I'm waiting to hear back

from the recon team,

but I haven't heard

anything from them

since they headed out

to the black hole.

- And what's the status

of the black hole now?

- It's going to collapse,

it's just a matter of time

before the entire thing

vanishes completely.

- [Dr Jones] All right, make

sure you keep monitoring it.

- Are you sure all the Autobots

have to go on this mission?

We might need them

down here, too.

I mean, it's very dangerous

traveling through a black hole.

the Autobots are chasing

Megatron and Kicker's in danger.

(man yawns)

- Well, don't worry, Kicker

knows what he's doing.

- Yeah, I sure hope Kicker

knows what he's doing.

I'm asking a lot,

but we need you to send

us all your Energon.

- What, all the Energon?

Aw, come on, you

can't be serious!

- Yes, I am.

(dramatic music)

- [Scorponok] Alpha Q, I

have the Energon, take it!

(Optimus groaning)

(Transformers yelling)

- Would someone please

explain this to me?

(dramatic music)

- The Energon.

it's healing me.

- Aw, Kicker, that's amazing.

- It's just started.

- This is only the

beginning, you wait.

I gotta feeling Alpha

Q has a few surprises

for us now that

Unicron's come alive.

- Did the Energon

cause this, sir?

- This is what Alpha Q

has been waiting for.

- Whoa!

- Now there's only

one thing left to do

and that's to get

rid of Megatron!

(Megatron growling)

(machines exploding)

- Oh, man, so what was that?

- Look, Kicker, there's

Energon spilling

out of Unicron's body!

- That can't be good!

- Well, I'm afraid it's a lot

worse than you can imagine.

All that Energon could explode!

- You're kidding me, right?

- First, I'll destroy Unicron,

then you'll be next on my

list, Alpha Q, for interfering!

I'll use the Energon

I've collected

and use it to destroy all who

dare challenge my supremacy!

- Hey Kicker, what's going on?

- [Q- ] Help's

coming, Scorponok!

- [Kicker] Alpha Q!

- [Q- ] We must help Scorponok.

(dramatic music)

- Oh, I don't think so, Alpha Q.

(energy whooshing)

(dramatic music)

- It's too late!

- Alpha Q, the Energon

is starting to react!

- [Q- ] We all did it!

- (cackles) Who would've thought

it would come to this,

the universe ripping open!

(tense music)

(metal cracking)

- [Demolishor] What's

gonna happen to us?

- [Snow Cat] How

should I know? (yells)

- [Q- ] This wasn't our plan!

- [Q- ] We must flee!

- [Q- ] We have no choice!

- [Q- ] Goodbye Kicker,

goodbye Misha, don't follow us.

We must proceed to the

other side of the light.

There we will find our home.

- [Shockblast] This

wasn't supposed to happen!

- Serves that insubordinate

right for meddling.

Now, where were we, Prime?

- Huh?

- Oh yes, I was about

to exterminate you!

- [Optimus] Never!

- How about this, Optimus?

Why don't you join me on

the other side of the light,

and I'll show you

my little universe.

Mirage, now!

- Sir!

- [Megatron] Starscream!

- Ready and able, sir!

- Follow me, men!

- Megatron! (yells)

(dramatic music)

- Optimus, Optimus,

what should we do now?

- Let's go after Megatron!

(action music)

- Optimus is headed

toward the action,

and I'm not gonna

be left behind!

(triumphant action music)

- [Dr Jones] You see,

it was all Kicker's idea

to go into the black

hole with the Autobots.

- That dumb brother of

mine is such a show off.

He never thinks before he acts.

- It's just that he

cares about the Autobots.

They're his friends now.

- Mmm-hmm, well, I remember

when he couldn't stand

to be in the same

room as the Autobots.

- That's right, he

used to be afraid

of the Transformers, didn't he?

- It took some time, but

eventually Kicker realized

that Optimus and the others

were there to help us.

(suspenseful music)

- Yeah!

(Alexis laughs)

- Whoa!

(Kicker whimpers)

- [Dr Jones] Well,

here we are, Kicker.

This is planet Cybertron.

(metal clanking)

(Kicker whimpers)

It's okay, they're our friends.

They're called Transformers

and they're here to protect us.

- I'm a little old to be

playing hide-and-seek, Kicker.

Besides, this area

is off-limits.

So show yourself right now!

I just hope he isn't

lost, Kicker, Kicker!

- Go away, I hate it here, I

didn't even wanna come here!

- Kicker?

- Get away from me! (yells)

(pants) Where am I?

(energy whooshes mysteriously)

- [Primus] I am the heart, the

very life force of Cybertron.

- I'm scared. (yells)

- [Primus] A great

destiny lies ahead of you.

I shall help you achieve it.

- Kicker was excited.

He couldn't believe

how lucky he was

to have stumbled

upon Primus that day.

- And thanks to him, we

discovered the Energon,

the cleanest source of

energy in the universe.

- Yeah, and that's how we

got in the mess we're in now.

- [Dr Jones and Miranda] Hmm?

- I mean, Energon is what

the enemy wants, right?

As soon as we started mining

for it here at Ocean City,

we were under attack.

We didn't even see them coming.

It started off as just

any other day, remember?

- Hey, what's going on here?

Nobody told me we

were surfacing.

(engines roaring)

Huh?

(action music)

Oh, it's only you, Kicker,

what are you doing here?

- It's none of your

business, Demolishor!

- You're not supposed to

be out here now, get back!

(Kicker grunts)

(Kicker chuckles)

- Check it out! (laughs)

- [Demolishor] Kicker!

- Yeah, later!

- [Hot Shot] Ah, that

kid can be such a pain

in the rear bumper, transform!

(dramatic music)

(Kicker gasps)

- Hey Kicker, anything wrong?

- Energon, I sense it.

(machines roaring)

- Huh?

- What's up?

- [Strongarm] Check

it out, Skyblast.

(both gasping)

- Incoming!

- What's going on, huh?

What do you want?

(machine roars)

Huh, oh no, you don't! (grunts)

You're not getting

past me! (grunts)

(dramatic music)

- Oh, great.

- Run for it, Kicker!

(Kicker gasps)

(Kicker yells)

- [Jetfire] Somebody

call for help?

It's Optimus and his

boys to the rescue!

(triumphant action music)

- [Inferno] Transform!

- Transform!

Remember me, Kicker?

- You're Optimus Prime.

(Megatron laughs)

- Like old times, isn't

it, Optimus Prime?

- I know what you're

after, Megatron.

- [Megatron] Well,

how perceptive of you.

- [Optimus:] If you've

come for the Energon,

you are not gonna get it!

- Hmm?

- I know what you

plan to do with it!

- Of course you do,

but, tell me anyway.

- So you're going after Unicron.

Don't fool yourself, Unicron is

more powerful than any of us.

- [Sally] Time and time again,

Megatron sent his Decepticons

to attack the Autobots and

steal our Energon reserves.

Luckily, they were able to fight

them off, most of the time.

(Snow Cat yodels)

And thanks to Optimus

Prime and the others,

we were able to complete

the Energon grid.

Now, Earth is no

longer in danger.

And we don't have to live with

the fear of the Decepticons

trying another

sneak attack on us.

- [Dr Jones] But as

long as Unicron exists,

the fighting will never end.

(triumphant action music)

- Hmm.

- Welcome aboard the Miranda II.

On this, our maiden voyage,

we have two initial targets,

both the transmitters

that have been placed

on either end of the

planetary system.

For our mission to

be deemed a success,

we will destroy those

transmitters, thus

destroying Unicron.

Engage launch sequence,

fire thruster!

(energy whooshing)

- Tell me, Dad, when did

Scorponok and Alpha Q

come over to our side?

- When was that, hmm?

- Hmm, good question,

let me see now.

It seems so long ago.

(suspenseful music)

- That's it.

- Dr Jones, Kicker is

not a child anymore!

He's made the decision to go

after Ironhide on his own.

- That's easy for you to say,

Optimus, he's not your son!

- I would never risk

a soldier's life!

- Hey, hey, Optimus, wait!

(metal clanking)

- [Kicker] Well, here we go.

- Hey, is that--

- Yeah.

- [Rodimus] But you

mustn't destroy Unicron.

- Not destroy Unicron?

- [Rodimus] Instead

of destroying Unicron,

I would rather see

Megatron defeated first.

And of course, I'll offer

you any help that I can.

- [Optimus] Megatron's

my priority,

but I'm sure you

realize how dangerous

Unicron will be

once he's awakened.

- I suppose you see Unicron

as the ultimate evil.

- Yes, of course,

what do you mean?

- You may not know this,

but Alpha Q's home planet

was consumed by

Unicron in the past.

- Huh?

(dramatic music)

(wind whistling)

- [Q- ] Rodimus is MIA!

- [Q- ] He stood us up!

What a liar, he promised that

he'd help us save our planet!

(Unicron roars)

- [Rodimus] By the time we

arrived, everything was gone.

We couldn't save

Alpha Q's planet.

However, he had been spared.

And he continued to live

within Unicron's sleeping body.

- [Kicker] Hey Inferno.

- Huh?

- I was just wondering

how Rodimus and Optimus

know each other, I mean are

they old friends or what?

- Commander Rodimus

became a great warrior

after leaving planet Cybertron,

whereas Optimus Prime

decided to remain on

Cybertron and became

a great hero to

all the Autobots.

Many of our kind joined Rodimus

and headed off into space,

but that put our

planet in great danger,

and left us open to attack.

It was just lucky

for us that Optimus

had chosen to stay on Cybertron.

- Then it's a deal, we'll

go after Megatron first,

and once we get him, then

we'll take care of Unicron.

- Then we have a deal, for

the time being, at least.

Hmm, we'll take care of

Unicron when the time comes.

What do you think, Optimus?

- [Optimus] It's a deal.

(Unicron roars)

(dramatic music)

Here's the plan, we'll attack

Unicron and defeat Megatron.

Let's do it!

- [Autobots] Right!

- So, our guests

have finally arrived.

(action music)

- [Optimus:] Autobots, attack!

- (laughs) Oh, their att*cks

against me are utterly useless!

(energy crackling)

Go, Unicron, it's time to

destroy all the Autobots!

Planet Cybertron is

yours, devour it!

- Oh no!

- Argh, Planet Cybertron!

- Clear the way!

- Hm?

- Look out, Alpha Q is

coming through, move!

- (babbles) It's gonna crash!

- Ha, those dimwits

will never survive.

(dramatic music)

- Dad, I know I'm asking

a lot, but we need you

to send us all your

Energon, please.

- [Alexis] I understand.

I'll talk to them

about this myself.

Ohh, it's all right, it

shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, I'll take full

responsibility.

- Dear, I think you'll

be happy to know

that those government people

have given up and gone home.

- Well that's a relief.

I didn't want to meet

those highbrows anyway.

Although I guess it's not nice

to keep the government

waiting. (laughs)

(comm beeping)

Put her on the monitor.

- I would, but I can't,

there's no visual.

- [Alexis] I'm in Jungle City.

area had been destroyed.

As you can see, we've

made a lot of progress.

I'll give you a

tour of the area.

- I'd like that!

Well, where do we start?

I'm sure there must be

something else going on.

I don't think you would've

dragged me all the way out here

just to look at

these old structures.

- [Alexis] You're right.

- [Dr Jones] Hmm, I knew it.

There's more going on here

than you've been

telling me, isn't there?

- Doctor.

- Hmm?

- If you're ready, I

can show you the reason

that I brought you here.

(door mechanics whirring)

- [Dr Jones] What is this place?

- [Alexis] This is an

old abandoned mine.

- Well, it doesn't look

abandoned, it can't be!

- You're right, Dr Jones, this

is an active Energon mine.

- [Dr Jones] It's incredible!

I thought there was no

Energon left on Earth!

- We were able to

reactivate the mine and find

an even greater cache of

Energon just below the surface.

- Yes, I can see that!

- [Alexis] Doctor--

- Oh my, this is an

incredible discovery!

- Yes, I know, and this

reserve will be administered

by the Earth Federation

Government Council.

- Huh?

- Well, I hope that

you can accept that,

because we want you

to be a consultant

and help with the

distribution of the Energon.

- Now wait just a minute!

- We all know that Energon

is an important

resource to Earth.

It's not something that should

be controlled by one person.

- Hmm, yes, I see.

So this is what those

government agents

came to see me about.

- Yes.

- Then, I have no choice, do I?

Alexis, you can count me in.

I'd be honored to help

you with this project.

- Mm, thank you, Dr Jones.

(upbeat music)

- [Optimus] Whether it was

the right thing to do or not,

it's in the past and now

we must look to the future.

- Optimus, I know it

must've been difficult,

but in the end, I think you

made the right decision.

- For us, and the humans.

It's time to go, Ironhide.

We've got a lot of

work ahead of us.

Optimus is counting on us.

(upbeat action music)

- Argh, do you think that

this ship can handle it?

- Ha, you know this ship

is named after my mother.

It looks pretty, but

it's tough on the inside.

- Ugh, Kicker, up there,

it's dragging us forward!

We're being pulled into it!

- Ah, relax, I'll find a

way outta this, sit tight.

(Ironhide groans)

All right, I don't

know what's on

the other side of this

thing, but whatever it is,

we'll be ready for it!
