Okay, lots has happened.

Pretty exciting summer
so far, right?

In case you missed any of it

Down in Costa Rica,

Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea had
finally escaped from a cave

but still hadn't found
a mermaid.

Neither had my mom and dad,

even though they weren't really
looking for a mermaid

as much as for the whales
the mermaid

was supposed to lead
into a secret lagoon.

Back here in Malibu,

Ken and I barely escaped
an underwater chase

after we discovered an illegal
pearl smuggling ring.

And if that weren't
scary enough,

all my friends were mad at me
for something Trey had done.

At least I was gonna
have a great

"What I Did on My Summer
Vacation" story.

And how it ends, well,
this you gotta see.

And that's why we know it was
Mr. Pearlman in the parlour

with the oyster shucker.

what Ken is saying,

Mr. Pearlman is secretly
stealing oysters

Those are super rare
and really valuable.

And really protected.

They're part of a delicate
ecosystem.

Which is about to be totally
destroyed by Pearlman's g*ons.

That's why we need proof.

And so this loving family
of speckle-nosed whales

is home at last.

After an adventure like that

home with family was exactly
where I wanted to be, too.

saw in the lagoon,

was it really a mermaid?

Personally, I don't wanna know,

because some things in life
are best left a mystery.
