[Narrator] Samson is a very proud t*nk engine.

When he first arrived on the island of Sodor,

it was dark.

Samson was bringing

the big dinosaur models

for the Earl'’s new dinosaur park.

But he didn'’t know the way.

[train approaching]

And he was too proud to ask for help.

So he got lost...

...and ended up in the Blue Mountain Quarry.

-[engines laughing] -The other engines thoughtthis was great fun,

but Samson felt a little silly making such a mistake.

Samson didn'’t reach the Earl'’s estate

until the next morning.

One day Sir Topham Hatt had a job for Samson.

I need you to head upto the Blue Mountain Quarry

and collect some stoneto take to the mainland.

And Samson had to spend the night in the quarry.

Fancy bringing Gordon'’s coachesup the quarry.

The stones would have beenvery comfortable!

Every stone would have hada seat to itself.

Oh, imagine ifthe stone had a seat!
