You didn't hit us, you hit the pumpkin.

Pumpkins!

That reminds me of Halloween

and the pumpkin we carved last year.

Remember?

Oh, I love Halloween.

How long till it's Halloween again?

It's early summer now and Halloween is in the fall,

so it's a long time away.

I wish there were

two Halloweens,

then we wouldn't have to wait so long.

(sighing): Aw.

Hm...

I know!

Let's do a summer Halloween.

Tonight.

We'll go trick-or-treating.

It'll be a Summerweenie Halloweenie.

Great idea, Zadie.

We gotta get treat bags and costumes

and a pumpkin to carve.

Off to the pumpkin patch!

Kat, Kit, may we please have

your biggest, best pumpkin?

We'd love for you to have

the biggest, best pumpkin.

But right now they're just teeny.

Teeny-tiny little gourds.

KIT: Won't be full grown till Halloween.

(together): Aww, no pumpkins.

Hm.

Maybe we could use something else.

(together): You may.

Okay, uh, a pumpkin is round,

so let's put all the round fruits and veggies here,

and the not-round ones there.

Round tomatoes, round apples,

round watermelon.

ZADIE: Not round zucchini,

not round cucumber, not round corn.

How about the watermelon?

It's round and the same size as a pumpkin.

Hm, that'll work.

Let's make the face.

(marker squeaking)

We've got the perfect

melon-carving tools right here.

(fast clacking)

(splattering)

(kids laughing)

(together): Yum-yum-yummy-yum-yum!

No one in the Treeborhood

has ever seen a Jack-O-Watermelon before.

Perfect.

Now let's go find treat bags.

Super has the bags sorted by size.

Do we want small, medium, or large?

(together): Large!

All we need now is...

(together): Costumes!

(splattering)

(bell chiming)

(laughs)

It's called "Hooray!" (chuckles)

Now,

what brings you to the Creation Station?

We want to make costumes

so we can go trick-or-treating tonight.

(gasps) But it isn't Halloween.

We can't wait for regular Halloween,

so Zadie made up Summerweenie Halloweenie.

(laughs) What a fun-fabulous idea!

These bins are full of clothes and whatnot,

sorted by color.

That way, say I want something blue,

I know which bin to find it in.

Have at it.

I know.

Since it's summer,

let's do summery costumes.

I'll make a yellow sun costume.

Hm...

I'll be a blueberry.

And I'll be a red raspberry ice pop

and Snout will be a strawberry lollipop.

What's going on?

It's Summerweenie Halloweenie.

We're gonna trick-or-treat

at every house in the Treeborhood.

Well then, I'd better give everyone a heads up.

Attention, Treeborhood!

Attention!

Malik, Zadie, and Zeke have declared

that today is Summerweenie Halloweenie!

So, expect a visit soon

from a blueberry, a sun, and a...

Red raspberry ice pop

and a strawberry lollipop.

(cheering)

SUPER (on intercom): And they will soon be at your door.

Who? What? Huh?

(doorbell ringing)

(together): Ooh! Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait.

Trick or treat!

My, what lovely costumes.

Oh, thank you, Ellie.

I love stickers.

A puzzle.

So, I guess,

since it isn't really Halloween,

we get things that aren't candy?

Like cheese!

so we should at least try.

(doorbell ringing)

It's Pie Week on The Bakey-Bakey Show

and now I'm going to miss the big strudel reveal.

Who are you and what do you want?

Zadie, Malik, and Zeke.

What's with the get-ups?

(together): It's Summerweenie Halloweenie.

Trick-or-treat.

Trick-or-treating in the middle of summer?

Because every Halloween,

the Everything Emporium is open till midnight

and I have to work, which is fine by me.

I don't even like Halloween.

(gasping)

(sighs)

And that leaves us with this triangle-shaped stuff.

ZADIE: Good.

Now we each get to choose a pile of treats.

Zeke, you go first.

Uh...

(sighs)

I want something from each pile.

Okay,

how about we sort by size,

like the treat bags?

Let's start with the small stuff.

Here's all the small stuff.

Here's all the medium-sized stuff.

And that leaves all the large stuff.

Huh.

Still can't choose.

What if we sort by color, like our costumes?

Yeah!

Yes!

MALIK: Okay, yellow stuff first.

ZADIE: Here's all the blue stuff.

MALIK: And that leaves the red stuff.

What I want most is the food.

Snout and I are very hungry from all that trick-or-treating.

Well, I want the stickers most.

And what I want most is the stuff I can use at my desk.

Then shouldn't we sort the piles

by what each of us wants most?

Yeah!

Yes!

ZADIE: The stickers are here,

all the food here,

and the stuff that Malik can use at his desk here.

We worked it out, Wombats.

Yes!

(doorbell rings)

(yelps)

(exclaims)

Trick or treat!

To apologize for being such a grump

when you trick-or-treated me, I baked you a pie.

(chuckles) Wait,

you got it backwards, Mr. E.

You're supposed to dress up and ring doorbells,

and then whoever answers the door gives you a treat.

I did not know that.

This is my first time trick-or-treating.

No wonder you don't like Halloween.

You don't know Halloween.

Come on, Mr. E.

We'll take you trick-or-treating.

Whoo-hoo! Yay!

Yay!

(knocking)

Uh, trick or treat?

I hope you don't mind paper clips.

All we have left to hand out is office supplies.

(gasps)

(excited): Oh!

ZADIE: Pssssst!

(laughing): Paperclips!

(kids cheering)

ZEKE: This is so much fun!

♪ One end is smooth, the other is rough ♪

♪ It kind of tickles when I touch ♪

♪ Gotta guess, gotta guess ♪

♪ Put your thinking to the test ♪

♪ I've felt that before, I know what you've got ♪

♪ A paintbrush is hiding in the mystery box! ♪

LOUISA: Nope, guess again.

♪ Mystery box ♪

♪ What's inside? ♪

♪ When I flick it, it makes a sound ♪

♪ I know I've heard that sound around ♪

♪ A tooth brush is hidden in the mystery box ♪

LOUISA: You got it!

MALIK: "Make It Snow."

I'm tellin' ya, he doesn't have it.

(huffing)

ZADIE: Mr. E...

Mmm!

Let me ask him.

Let Zeke ask.

(hissing)

(exclaims)

(whooshing)

(startled yelling): It's coming for me!

(deflates)

(deflating)

Zeke wants to play in it.

MR. E: Snow?

(laughing): That's absurd.

I don't sell snow.

Then why's your store called the Everything Emporium

if it doesn't have everything?

It should actually be called the "Everything but Snow Emporium."

But I really wanted snow.

so I could go inside it and play in the snow.

How to make it ginormous.

I guess we could look at the little snow globe

to work out what we need to build a big snow globe.

Let's work it out, Wombats.

It has a see-through top.

A flat bottom.

Winter stuff, and, of course...

(together): Snow!

Huh, okay.

Let's start with the top.

It needs to be...

see-through.

And big enough to fit all of us inside.

I know, how about we use a huge balloon?

Never mind,

we do not want Zeke floating away.

Huh.

Maybe we can use Kat and Kit's greenhouse.

And I can see right through it.

Let's ask if we can borrow it.

(exclaims)

(sighs)

only it's going to be giant

so we can play inside.

Now we get to put all the stuff inside.

(panting): We need flowers, a bed,

a kitchen, an amusement park...

I like that idea a little bit,

but not that much.

How about we just copy what's in here?

Lights, trees, and winter stuff.

I can live with that.

I was gonna say snow.

(both gasp) We forgot the snow.

Where are we gonna get snow?

Not from Mr. E's Everything Emporium,

that's for sure.

(all sighing): Aw.

So, we're back to where we started?

(shaking)

Wait a minute.

Maybe we can use something that just looks like snow.

Come on, I think I know where to look.

(drawer opening)

For our pretend snow,

we need something that's white

and that can blow around in the snow globe.

(straining): It's white,

but no way can it blow around.

(grunts, ball crashing) It's too heavy.

What about these balls?

Oh, wait.

They're different colors.

They need to be white.

♪ ♪

Uh, this yarn is white and looks snowy.

(grunts)

(chewing)

These marshmallows are white and soft like snow.

Yummy, too.

Ping-pong balls could work,

they're white and not too heavy.

(bouncing)

We sure got a lot of white stuff.

Let's test them out to figure out

which one blows around the best.

Got it covered.

I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow all this stuff.

(inhales)

(exhaling)

(panting): Well, that didn't work.

I'm out of breath and ideas.

Save your breath, Zadie.

We can use Super's Mega Fan to blow stuff around.

Now let's test the yarn first.

Turn on the fan.

(whirring, yarn unraveling)

Turn off the fan.

Too long and tangly.

Not good pretend snow.

Let's test the marshmallows next.

They shouldn't get tangly like the yarn did.

My belly has a good feeling about this.

Turn on the fan.

(whirring)

(soft thudding)

How come they're not blowing around?

'Cause they're too heavy.

Turn off the fan.

Aw, we'll never find the right thing for snow.

Don't give up, Zeke.

We just need something that's not stringy like yarn

and not heavy like marshmallows.

How about ping pong balls?

Turn on the fan.

(bouncing)

It's working, it's working!

It's not working.

Ping pong balls are too heavy.

Turn off the fan.

(fan clicks off)

Aw.

I guess we won't get to play in the snow after all.

We're on the right track.

We just need something white

that blows around more like snow.

To the Creation Station!

(snipping)

Whatcha doing, Louisa?

I'm cutting this tissue paper into tiny pieces

to make confetti.

It's for my stuffie birthday party.
