Today, we're at EdVenture

in Columbia, South Carolina,

and this is a children's

museum. (laughs)

We are gonna have so much fun.

Look at this place. (laughs)

Oh, hello.

- Hi!

- Whoa.

This is so cool.

Do you know what type

of vehicle this is?

Yeah, you guessed it.

It's a fire truck.

Check it out.

Wow.

This truck is massive.

Here's the door.

Here's a handle.

Hey. Hello.

Whoa, look how big

these hoses are.

This one connects the

And then a smaller hose

Yeah!

I love puttin' out fires.

This is Lizzy the lizard.

This is Roger.

Let's put him right here.

I'm gonna go grab

A thermometer. Yeah.

So let's just check

his heartbeat.

we have to check his x-rays.

Now he can't go over

there and bite himself,

Right here.

One, two, three.

So, let's take

either a red one

or a black one and make it four.

What one do we take?

(clock ticking)

Yeah, a red one.

Ready?

Yeah. We did it.

Good job. (laughs)

I love playing games with you.

It's so much fun.

Oh, Houston.

Yep, we're in the air. (laughs)

Awesome. Good job.

Woohoo!

This is awesome! (laughs)

Woohoo!

Do you see him?

This is Eddie.

Whoa!

And Eddie is so big!

Eddie is the world's

This is a shoe.

And look, it's a

shoe lace. (laughs)

Whoa.

His foot is massive.

Look, this is my shoe. (laughs)

It's a lot smaller

than Eddie's. (laughs)

Okay.

Whoa!

Geez.

Here, Eddie is so big

that I'm gonna go inside,

but you go up here

and then you can see

me go inside, okay?

(gentle upbeat music)

(upbeat music)

Whoa!

Hey!

I just climbed up

from the bottom.

Whoa. And we are inside Eddie.

Wow. Look at this.

Whoa. Is this his stomach?

Whoa.

Yeah, it's his stomach.

Whoa. Wee! (laughs)

Whoa, it's so cool to

see inside of Eddie.

He is so big.

His stomach is bigger than me,

but my stomach, yeah, it's

probably about this size.

(laughs) Pretty cool.

All right, I'm

gonna keep going up.

Whoa. (laughs)

I'm going up the

spine right now.

Whoa! (laughs)

I climbed up Eddie's spine.

Whoa. And where are we now?

So we were about right

here in the stomach area,

but now, we're right here.

What's right here that

beats all the time?

(heart b*ating)

Yeah, your heart.

Whoa!

Check this out.

Wow.

This is Eddie's heart.

Wow, it's so big. (laughs)

So cool to see inside his body.

His heart is a lot

bigger than your or mine.

Ours is about this size.

Yeah, right there. (laughs)

This size.

But his is this size. (laughs)

Okay, now I'm gonna

keep going up his spine

to somewhere else.

You'll see soon.

(gentle upbeat music)

(upbeat music)

Whoa!

I just climbed up all the way

from the bottom to

the top of Eddie.

And look, my head and

face is at the top.

(gasps) And look.

Whoa!

Check it out.

Do you see this?

This is Eddie's face.

Wow. See his two eyes?

One.

Two.

And his teeth right here.

Wow. This is so cool.

(laughs) It's like we're food.

Om-nom-nom.

Whoa.

And can you look up here?

Wow.

This is Eddie's brain.

Whoa, that's where

he thinks a lot,

just like you and me.

When we learn things,

we use our brain.

Good job.

Whoa!

Eddie is really big, (laughs)

and I am really small

compared to Eddie. (laughs)

(upbeat music)

Whoa!

Whoa! Do you see this?

(visitor laughing)

Whoa.

This is an aeroplane simulation.

Whoa.

It's like I'm actually

flying an aeroplane.

Whoa.

And check it out, there's

two more right here.

You can fly aeroplanes

in these simulations.

Hm, I wish I could fly an

aeroplane like a real cockpit.

(Blippi gasps)

Look.

There's a real

aeroplane cockpit.

Whoa!

This is so cool.

There's a lot of fuses up here.

Yep, they feel all really good.

(gasps) And down here,

we have the yoke,

and there's some pedals.

Whoa.

There's so many cool gauges

and instruments here.

Whoa! (laughs)

Wee! (laughs)

This is awesome.

Wow.

But now, I think it's time

for me to be a

passenger. (laughs)

Okay.

Whoa. Check this out.

There's a lot of seats.

All right, take your seat.

Let's take a seat right here.

(laughs) Gotta buckle up.

Oh, here we go.

You have to be safe

when you're flying in

an aeroplane. (grunts)

Whoa!

(laughs) This is nice.

This is actually a .

Whoa!

(laughs) I like this.

This is fun riding

in an aeroplane.

Okay, I guess we landed.

All right.

Now we're here.

Now let's go learn some more.

Woohoo!

(gentle upbeat music)

Oh, hey.

I'm just reading

a book. (laughs)

(upbeat music)

(laughs) Hey!

I'm just making some

tasty food. (laughs)

Yum!

Mm.

Mm, that's tasty.

I'm at a restaurant, yeah,

helping all my

customers eat some food.

Have you ever wondered

where the food

comes from at a

restaurant like this?

Yeah. I'll show you.

Come on.

(gentle upbeat music)

This is a grocery store,

and restaurants sometimes

get their food from

a grocery store.

Look.

Like some carrots,

some tomatoes.

Whoa.

And even pieces of corn.

Do you know how many

pieces of corn there are?

One.

Two.

Three.

Yeah, three pieces of corn.

Whoa, and look over here.

Whoa.

That's a lot of meat

in this section.

Yeah, like a fish.

(Blippi imitates fish gurgling)

(Blippi laughs)

Okay. Let's go over here.

Let's grab a shopping cart.

(gentle upbeat music)

Let's grab some milk.

- [Visitor] Oh!

- And you saw me using ketchup

and mustard over there.

Yeah, we got, need

some of those.

Whoa! Whoa!

(laughs) Wee! (laughs)

Hey, in another place

that restaurants

get all of their food from,

yeah, is the farm.

Directly from the farm.

So let's go over there.

Come on.

(gentle upbeat music)

Do you see this area?

Wow!

That tractor.

Yeah, tractors are on farms.

Whoa!

This is so cool.

Yeah. (laughs)

And tractors plough

a bunch of the land.

Then you have to water the soil.

Yeah, like over here.

Come on.

Whoa.

Check it out.

Let me pull this up. (groans)

Whoa.

I just picked a beet.

Hey. Look.

Oh.

Here we go.

Let's put this beet right here.

Oh.

Look, another vegetable.

Let me just. (groans)

Yum.

I love kale. (laughs)

I love food that's the colour

green, like vegetables.

So yummy.

Whoa!

Whoa! (laughs)

Woo.

And over here, this kind of

looks like (groans) collards.

Yum.

Another yummy food.

Let's put it right in there.

Okay, now let's go

back to the restaurant.

Oh, wait a second.

Something else I think we need

is to go in this factory.

Remember, we had some

milk in our cart,

in the shopping cart.

Yeah.

Whoa, look, a chicken.

Hey, chicken.

Yeah.

They don't produce milk.

They've produce eggs.

Yeah.

One, two, three, four.

Four eggs.

Whoa.

Did you hear that?

(chicken clucking)

Yeah, it's another chicken.

Yeah. Hey, chicken.

(Blippi laughs)

Whoa. And look at this.

Whoa, this is where

the milk gets bottled.

Yeah, that's so cool.

They're all spinning

around right there,

and then it goes

through these tubes,

and then it goes

down into this area,

and the raw milk storage.

Wow. This is so cool.

It gets bottled up and then

goes to the grocery store.

Yeah!

(Blippi shivering)

I'm so cold.

Look, it's winter here,

and there's so much snow.

Look over here.

Whoa.

Hello. Hey!

(polar bear growls)

That's a polar bear.

Polar bears live where there's

tonnes of snow. (laughs)

Whoa. Check this out.

This is a mountain.

Whoa, and this mountain, you

can sled down it. (laughs)

Whoa. Can I try?

Whoa, thank you.

You're so nice for sharing.

Okay. Here I go.

(upbeat music)

Hey!

I'm up here and

you're down there.

Here I come.

Three, two, one.

Whoa!

(laughs) That was awesome.

(laughs) Whoa.

All right, someone else's turn.

Whoa. There we go.

Ooh, I really love

winter time. (laughs)

(cheerful music)

(upbeat music)

We are gonna be team green.

Yeah.

Yeah, team green.

Here we go!

(upbeat music)

Yeah, good job.

Woohoo! (laughs)

Team green!

Oh! (laughs)

Look, these are snowballs,

and I have a snowball launcher.

Here we go!

(upbeat rock music)

We're having a snowball fight.

(upbeat rock music continues)

Whoa!

She's winning. (laughs)

Woohoo!

(Blippi groans)

All right, I am pretty cold.

We should probably

go into warmer area

of the children's museum.

(laughs) Let's go.

Whoa! Hey.

This children's museum even

has an outdoor section.

(gasps) What are these?

Whoa. Helmets.

You wear a helmet when

you do something outside

like rollerblading,

skateboarding, riding a bike.

I wonder what they have here.

First, let's put on a helmet.

Ooh, I like this one.

It's the colour green.

Ooh. (laughs)

Oh, might be a little tight.

Oh, I think that's

okay. (laughs)

Okay. Here we go.

Oh.

Look, a recycling truck.

(laughs) I love recycling

trucks. (laughs)

(gasps) Yes, a bicycle.

Wait a second.

Bicycle means two wheels.

Bi means two.

But this has

one, two, three.

Three.

Yeah, tri.

T-R-I.

Tricycle.

Yeah!

Here we go!

(sound wobbling)

Oh.

(tricycle squeaking)

Oh.

It's not working. (laughs)

Let's try another tricycle.

Okay.

Here we go.

(upbeat music)

Whoa! (laughs)

Whoa.

Wee! (laughs)

Whoa.

Whoa, that was awesome.

Okay, let's put

that right there.

Perfect.

Oh.

Looks like a lot of

water toys over here.

Whoa!

(chain squeaking)

Whoa!

That's awesome.

But did you see this over here?

Whoa.

Do you know what kind

of vehicle this is?

Yeah.

It's an aeroplane.

(Blippi imitates

aeroplane whirring)

(aeroplane engine rumbling)

Wow.

Look at it.

It has two big wings.

(whooshes) And look at this.

This is a propeller

of the aeroplane.

Whoa.

It turns around and then creates

a lot of thrust. (whooshes)

Let's look inside the aeroplane.

Whoa!

Look.

Whoa!

It's like I'm flying

the aeroplane.

Whoa. (laughs)

This is awesome.

Wee!

(upbeat music)

Whoa!

Let's go.

Wow. (laughs)

I had a lot of fun at

that children's museum.

Yeah!

(upbeat music)

Whoa!

Did you love learning with me

at EdVenture Children's Museum?

(crowd cheers)

(Blippi laughs)

I really loved learning

with you today.

Well, this is the

end of this video,

but if you wanna watch

more of my videos,

all you have to do is

search for my name.

Will you spell my name with me?

B-L-I-P-P-I.

Blippi.

Good job.

All right, see you again.

Bye bye.

Woo!

Hey.

It's me, Blippi.

And today, I'm at the

Hands On Children's Museum

in Olympia, Washington.

And I am so excited,

because this place, you

get to learn so much.

(laughs) Let's go.

(laughs) Come on.

(laughs) Oh, hey!

I was just using this telescope

to see some really cool things.

Whoa!

Whoa, speaking of cool,

look at this wall.

Wow.

There's a lot of pumps

that pushes the air

through these tubes.

And check this out.

Let's take a green handkerchief

and put it right in here.

Or it's a scarf. Ready?

Whoa!

Whoa.

Oh, there it is. (laughs)

Shall we do it again?

But this time, let's turn this,

and now it's gonna

take a different path

because it blocked the air

from going the original path.

Ready?

Three, two, one.

(horn blowing)

Whoa. Whoa!

(laughs) That was fast.

Okay, let's go right over here

and try a different colour,

like this yellow scarF,

and this orange scarF.

Ready?

Three, two, one.

(horn blowing)

Whoa!

Whoa!

Under the leg. (laughs)

Woohoo!

Yellow and orange.

(gasps) Whoa.

What is this?

This is where you can

build a rocket ship,

and then on the other

side, blast it off.

All right.

First, we need this.

Wrap around one

piece of white paper.

Yeah, here we go.

Yeah.

And then we take

a piece of tape.

(laughs) Tape is really nice.

Two, tape two pieces

of paper together

just like this.

You can also use glue,

but glue sometimes

gets a little messy,

so this time we're

just gonna use tape.

All right.

Now, we have the

body of the rocket.

Okay, now we need to make fins,

just like this.

Hm, let's see here.

How do we do this?

(laughs) I don't know. (laughs)

All right.

Let's cut 'em.

Used to be a big rectangle,

and now I'm gonna go like this.

(gentle upbeat music)

And we made a triangle.

Okay, now let's

fold it like that.

Okay, there's one.

Now.

Now we have another triangle.

Yeah.

Okay, fold that.

Now we can tape these fins

on the body of the rocket.

(groans) That tape

is really tough.

Okay. Here.

Okay.

There's one fin.

How does that look?

Really good.

Then we'll do a fin

on the other side.

There we go.

Yeah.

How does that look?

That looks really good. (laughs)

Now we need to do the nose cone.

We can use the same

piece of paper.

All right.

So it looks like we

do a little circle,

but then

we go like this.

(gentle upbeat music)

It's kind of a

circle on one side,

half circle, and

then makes a point.

So then looks like you

roll it up just like that.

Perfect.

Now (groans), we can tape this.

Whoa, we're almost done.

All right.

Now, let's tape

this to the rocket.

(Blippi laughs)

My rocket (groans)

doesn't look that good,

but we'll see how it flies.

(Blippi laughs)

Let's also take some of

these from previous people,

and maybe one of these

will fly really good.

Just in case if

mine doesn't fly,

this one looks like it

might fly really good.

We'll bring this

right over there.

Okay, this is the launch pad.

So first thing you have to do

is put it right

on the launch pad.

All right, this is the

rocket that I made,

and then we need

to pressurise it.

There we go.

All right, and this

is the launch button.

I'm gonna launch it.

Five, four, three,

two, one.

Whoa!

Oh, we did it.

Yeah. Good job.

That was the rocket

that you and I made.

All right.

And remember that

rocket that we grabbed

from the recycling bin?

Let's see how good this

person's rocket goes.

All right.

Okay.

Ooh, that's on

there nice and snug.

Gotta pressurise it.

(Blippi groans)

T-minus five, four,

(bell ringing)

three, two, one.

(bell ringing)

Zero!

(machine rumbling)

Oh.

Hey, look.

(laughs) Maybe that's why

it was in the recycling bin.

(laughs) That's so silly.

Hey, come on.

Whoa, this looks

like an art studio.

Whoa.

And check that out.

That looks like

a homemade robot.

That's pretty cool.

Yeah, that is art

because someone made it.

Ooh, even a sink,

so then you can wash your hands,

because you might get a little

dirty in the art studio.

Whoa.

This area is really cool

because it has hot glue g*ns.

They're turned off right now.

But it melts this

glue really hot,

and then you can glue things

(clicks) like

that, really quick.

Whoa.

Hey, look at these.

These are art pieces

that other kids made.

Wow.

They look so beautiful

and so colourful.

Ooh. Let's keep exploring.

Wow.

I love creating things. (laughs)

Oh!

Oh, hey!

- Hi.

- Who are you?

- My name is Brin.

- Ooh, that's a nice name.

- Welcome to the MakeSpace.

- (laughs) The MakeSpace.

Whoa!

What do you do at the MakeSpace?

- Here, we can make all

sorts of arts and crafts.

We can build robots.

We can do some painting.

We can even do some

drawing and colouring.

- Whoa, that sounds like fun.

Do you have an art

project that I can do?

- We sure can.

Would you like to build a crown?

- Oh, sure.

- This right here,

you can take that

and go ahead and decorate

however you would like it.

- (laughs) All right.

Thank you so much.

- Bye bye.

- All right, let's

make a crown together.

Wow.

All right.

So let's take this,

and it looks like we take

these yellow things and

wrap it around our head.

Oh wait, it's not big enough.

Wait a second, I have an idea.

Let's take this stapler

and staple two together

just like that.

And now it can definitely wrap

all the way around my head.

So let's make sure

it's the correct size.

Perfect.

There we go.

(stapler clicking)

There we go.

Now I have some extra

that I'm gonna take

a pair of scissors

and cut off the extra.

Yeah.

See, now it's a circle,

and this will fit on my head.

Yeah, just like that.

All right, let's put

the extra back in here,

and now we get to use all

of these things to decorate.

So let's put the stapler back,

and now let's take this marker

and colour some blue

squigglies on it.

Yeah, that looks really nice.

Ooh. Yeah.

Hm, what other colour?

Maybe a purple marker,

and we'll do some squigglies,

but the other opposite way.

Whoa!

And we'll go, wheew!

And then this side,

we'll do zigzags.

Wow!

And down the middle.

Ooh, and we'll do some black.

Whoa.

This is looking so good.

There we go.

Okay.

Now, we have some yellow things

that are nice and soft.

Tickle, tickle, tickle.

(Blippi sneezes)

(laughs) That tickled me.

Okay, let's put some

yellow things right here,

just like that.

See that?

Yeah, this is

looking really good.

Good job.

Okay, there's another one.

Wow.

We will do a third one.

Perfect.

There we go.

Move those like that.

All right.

How is this looking?

Really good?

(laughs) I bet.

I know one thing that's missing.

I think it's missing

a flower. (laughs)

Okay, I'll put that right there.

How do I look? (laughs)

Now you can call me

King Blippi. (laughs)

Woohoo! (laughs)

Good job being

creative. (laughs)

Tickets.

Get your tickets. (laughs)

Who wants a ticket

to my show? (laughs)

Yeah, I'm selling tickets

to my show. (laughs)

Do you wanna see my routine?

Yeah, it's gonna

be really funny.

Okay, I gotta go back

stage and get ready.

Meet me back there, okay?

Oh no.

This isn't good.

I'm not prepared at all.

Oh.

Okay. (pants)

Okay, Blippi, you got this.

Blippi, you got this. (sighs)

Okay.

Okay. I got this.

(dramatic music)

- [Announcer] Ladies

and gentlemen, Blippi!

(crowd applauding)

(microphone tapping)

- Test.

Testing.

Oh, okay.

Welcome everyone.

I have some really funny

jokes for you. (laughs)

(groans) Okay.

What do you call a

dinosaur that's sleeping?

A dino-snore.

(cymbals crashing)

(Blippi laughing)

(crickets chirping)

(crowd groaning)

Okay.

(audience member coughing)

Why did the child

cross the playground?

To get to the other

slide. (laughs)

(cymbals crashing)

(crowd groaning)

(baby crying)

Oh no, this isn't working.

I gotta figure out

something fast.

(gentle upbeat music)

(crowd cheering)

(Blippi imitates plane whirring)

Whoa!

Hey.

It's me, Blippi.

And today, we are here at

the Royal Air Force Museum,

in London, England.

Yeah!

I am so excited

because you and I get

to learn about planes.

Whoa!

(laughs) Planes

are awesome, yeah.

They're things that

people have built

so you can fly in

the sky. (laughs)

Hey, can you think

of something else

that flies in the sky?

Hmm.

Yeah, birds.

Woo! (laughs)

Whoa.

I think planes are so cool

because they let people

fly just like birds.

And today, we get to see

some really awesome planes.

Come on.

Let's take a closer

look. (laughs)

(upbeat music)

Whoa!

Check it out.

This plane is so big.

It's called the

Short Sunderland MR .

Wow!

And check it out.

It has massive

propellers. (laughs)

Yeah, two on each wing.

Two on one wing, and

two on the other wing.

Two and two means

four propellers.

What? (laughs)

That's so many. (laughs)

Whoa.

And this plane is really big.

Yeah, it's feet tall.

Oh! (laughs)

And feet long.

(Blippi laughs)

Yeah, and it has a

wings span of feet.

Whoa!

Hey, and do you notice anything

interesting about this plane?

Hm.

Yeah, it's the

bottom of the plane.

It looks kind of like a boat,

and you notice the windows?

Yeah, the windows are circles,

and maybe you've

seen those on a boat

or a submarine before, yeah!

Do you know why that is?

That's because this

is a sea plane.

Yeah!

And there are two

kinds of sea planes.

There are float planes

and flying boats, yeah.

A float plane is

just a regular plane

with floaties on the bottom.

But a flying boat is

a boat on the bottom.

Yeah.

Wow!

Whoa.

(metal knocking)

(laughs) It's made of metal.

It's so (knocks) musical.

(metal knocking rhythmically)

(laughs) Whoa!

That is awesome.

It's really important that

the Short Sunderland

MR is a flying boat

because it was built

a long time ago, yeah,

and it would fly

really far distances

across the Atlantic Ocean.

Huh? Yeah.

And there weren't a lot

of places for it to land

on the land, so it could

just land in the water.

(laughs) This is so awesome.

Hey, let's go take

a look inside.

Come on. (laughs)

(upbeat electronic music)

(screen whooshing)

(screen whooshing)

Whoa!

That was awesome.

Let's keep exploring. (laughs)

Whoa.

(upbeat electronic music)

Whoa.

Ooh.

(upbeat electronic music)

(screen whooshing)

Whoa, check it out.

It's a helicopter.

Whoa.

A rescue helicopter.

Hello?

Whoa.

This is fun.

Drivin' the helicopter.

(Blippi imitates

helicopter whirring)

(Blippi beeps)

Whoa!

This is really cool.

Whoa, it's so bright

and yellow, yeah.

Whoa. Look at it.

Whoa!

It's a real life rescue

helicopter, yeah.

Whoa.

It is so cool and so bright.

Yeah, it's the colour yellow.

Yeah.

And it's really important that

it's a bright

colour like yellow,

so if you need rescuing,

you can see it. (laughs)

Hello!

Whoa, and check it out.

(laughs) This looks familiar.

It looks like the same

kinds of floaties on

a sea plane. (laughs)

This is in case

it needs to land,

it can float in

the water. (laughs)

Wow!

You see up there?

Look, it's a really

big propeller.

Whoa! (laughs)

Woo. Yeah.

A propeller on a

rescue helicopter

is so strong and so fast,

so it can go through

any kinds of weather.

If it's really windy,

(wind blowing)

or really rainy. (groans)

(laughs) It'll be able to

make it through the storm.

Wow.

Hm, and what's this? (laughs)

There's a duck. (laughs)

Hello, mister duck.

- Hello Blippi.

- Hi. How are you today?

- Oh, I'm doing just fine,

just being a duck.

- (laughs) Well,

it's nice to see you.

Bye bye.

- Bye bye.

- (laughs) So silly.

Whoa! No way.

It's the cockpit of

the helicopter, yeah.

And you see there's a window?

That window's really important

because the pilot can look out

and make sure the rescue

is going great. (laughs)

Whoa. And look over here.

Come on!

(upbeat music)

Whoa. Look at it.

The most important part of

a helicopter rescue mission.

Yeah, this is the winch.

(bell ringing)

Whoa! Yeah.

The winch is what

someone would clip onto,

yeah, so they could drop down

from the helicopter

and save someone, yeah.

They just grab on tight and woo!

Up they go back

into the helicopter.

Whoa. (laughs)

And once they were inside,

there would be a doctor

and maybe a snack,

(laughs) so they would

be nice and safe.

Wow!

Look at it.

There's beds, and lots of seats,

and floaty devices.

Whoa.

Helicopters are

awesome. (laughs)

(Blippi imitates

aeroplane whirring)

Whoa!

Look at where we are.

We're inside of a hanger.

Yeah, a hanger is a place

where they store all kinds

of jets and aeroplanes .

Whoa.

And look at this jet.

Let's go look at the cockpit.

Come on. (laughs)

Whoa. Check it out.

This is awesome.

This jet is called the Tornado.

Whoa.

And it goes really fast.

Yeah. Look at it.

This right here is the cockpit.

That's the place

where the pilot sits

to steer the plane.

(Blippi imitates

engine whirring)

(Blippi laughs)

Whoa, look at it.

There's another seat

right behind the pilot.

Yeah, that's where

the navigator sits,

and he makes sure that

you're going in the

right direction. (laughs)

Whoa, it's so big,

and so cool. (laughs)

Hey, and look here.

It has really big wings.

Whoa.

Huh?

And it looks like the

wings can open up.

Yeah.

They open up so the plane

can do different things.

When they're really

open really wide,

it helps the plane be

nice and stable to land.

But if this jet wants to

go really, really fast,

they close up, woo,

to zoom away. (laughs)

Yeah.

And that's really helpful

because the Tornado

likes to fly low.

Yeah, really low.

Sometimes as low as a tree.

Whoa. (laughs)

Well, we'd better go

see some more jets.

Come on! (laughs)

(upbeat music)

Whoa.

There are so many planes

and jets here in

the hanger, yeah!

Whoa, and look at the

back of the Tornado.

Whoa. (laughs)

This is where the

jet engines are.

Yeah, look.

This one doesn't have an

engine in it right now.

But look, this

one does. (laughs)

Ooh. Hello! (laughs)

So shiny. Yeah.

These jets can go

so fast. (laughs)

Whoa.

Ooh, let's go see if

we can find some more.

I think this is another jet.

Yeah.

This jet right here is

called a Buccaneer, yeah.

Buccaneer.

Do you know why

it's called that?

Hm, I wonder why.

Well, I bet it's called that

because these planes take

off from aircraft carriers.

Yeah.

Do you know what an

aircraft carrier is?

Yeah, they're really big boats

that store lots of planes.

And you see this wing?

Yeah, look, the wing,

they fold. (laughs)

Yeah, they fold just

like your arm can fold

or a piece of paper, yeah.

They fold, so you

can fit lots of plane

tight together on an

aircraft carrier, yeah.

And look, it has really

big wheels and tyres,

(laughs) kind of like a car.

But that helps the plane land

nice and safe and roll smoothly

down the runway. (laughs)

Whoa! It's so big. (laughs)

Ooh, I think I

see another plane.

Come on. (laughs)

Whoa. Check it out. (laughs)

Wow.

This plane is awesome!

Yeah! (laughs)

Whoa

Whoa.

You see the plane

hanging above me?

Yeah, it's called a Harrier.

Yeah, a Harrier.

Whoa.

It's also called a jump plane.

Hm, a jump plane. (laughs)

I like to jump.

Will you jump with me?

Okay, let's jump

like a jump plane.

(laughs) Whoa.

(laughs) Whoa.

That was really fun

jumping together.

Do you know why it's

called a jump plane?

Yeah, that's because it

has really powerful engines

that can change direction, yeah.

Instead of going out of

the back of the aeroplane,

they can go (whooshes)

under the aeroplane,

and it can take off straight

up like a helicopter.

Whoa.

That's pretty cool. (laughs)

Hey, I think I

see one last plane

that we should look at.

Come on.

Whoa. Do you see it?

Hm, do you see another plane?

Hm, I see one too.

It's enormous!

It's gigantic!

It's the Hercules. (laughs)

Whoa. Look at it.

It has a really

big nose. (laughs)

Yeah.

That's what the front of a jet

or plane is called, the nose.

Ooh!

(laughs) Yeah

And this one has

a really big nose.

Look, it's the colour

black. (laughs)

Hercules planes are so cool

because they're so big.

They're so big that

they can even transport

and carry people and

vehicles. (laughs)

Whoa.

That's really big.

This plane can carry

cars and trucks.

What? (laughs)

Wow. These jets are so cool.

We should keep exploring.

Come on. (laughs)

(whooshes) Whoa!

Mark II, yeah!

It's so much fun riding

in the cockpit of

a plane. (laughs)

But this plane looks

a little small.

Hey, why don't you and I

try to find a real cockpit?

Whoa.

And a really big plane. (laughs)

Come on, let's keep exploring.

(screen whooshing)

(gentle upbeat music)

(screen whooshing)

Whoa.

Look at what I'm wearing.

This is an actual flight jacket.

Yeah.

This is what a pilot would wear

if they were flying

in an aeroplane, yeah.

Whoa.

And check it out.

Come on. (laughs)

It's one of my

favourite aeroplanes .

It's a Spitfire, yeah!

Oh look, and there's a person.

Let's go say hello. (laughs)

Hi, I'm Blippi.

What's your name?

- Hi, I'm Chris.

- Oh, it's nice to

meet you, Chris.

Whoa, could you tell me a

little bit about this aeroplane?

- Yeah. This is a Spitfire.

It's one of those most

beautiful aircraft we have here.

- Whoa.

I love this Spitfire.

It's so cool.

And it's camouflage.

Whoa!

Is it green and grey

on the top and bottom?

- Yeah, it's a little

bit blue on the bottom.

- Oh, that's so cool.

I bet that's so that

you're on the ground,

you can't see it in the sky.

- That's right.

- Whoa.

Blending in. (laughs)

Chris, would it be okay

if I got in the Spitfire?

- Okay.

- Noway!

We get to sit in the cockpit

of a real life Spitfire.

Yeah!

Okay. Let's go. (laughs)

Okay. Here we go. (laughs)

Whoa.

Whoa.

Check it out.

I'm in the cockpit

of a Spitfire.

Yeah!

This is so cool.

Whoa.

Chris, what are all these

buttons and controls?

- Yeah, there's so many

buttons, aren't there?

- Yeah.

- So they tell you

how fast you're going, or

how much fuel you have,

or even where you're going.

- Whoa. That's so cool.

Looks like there's all

these different dials

and levers and buttons.

And is this the steering wheel?

- [Chris] Yeah, it's

called a spade grip.

It looks a bit

like a small wheel.

- Whoa. Spade grip.

And does that turn the

plane left and right?

- Yeah, that makes

it go up and down.

If you wanna go left and right,

you have to press those

pedals at the bottom.

- Whoa. Check it out.

Yeah, there are pedals,

so you can move the plane

left and right with

your feet. (laughs)

Whoa.

Hey, and what's this

with my left hand?

What's that?

- What do you think it is?

- Well, it says, oh. (laughs)

I see what that says.

Throttle.

Wow.

- So that makes it go faster.

- Whoa. (laughs)

Faster and slower. (laughs)

Wow. This is so cool.

Oh, and what's

this over here do?

Oh, it looks like it's

connected to wheels.

Why does it need wheels?

- Yeah, so if you're in the air,

you can pull the lever

and the wheels go up.

- Whoa, that is

so cool. (laughs)

I feel like I'm

ready to be a pilot.

Well, thanks so

much for teaching me

about the Spitfire, Chris.

- You're welcome.

Enjoy the flight.

- I'll see you soon. (laughs)

Whoa.

I feel like a real

life pilot, yeah!

Whoa.

Look at what it is.

It's a flight simulator.

We've seen so many cool planes,

and now we get to feel

what it's like to

fly in one, yeah!

And this simulator simulates

or makes it feel like they're

really ultra low flights.

So you're in a plane

really low to the ground,

and we're gonna be exploring

the country Wales. (laughs)

Okay. Let's go inside.

(upbeat music)

(plane engine rumbling)

Here we go!

(upbeat music)

(screen whooshing)

Whoa!

Whoa, that was awesome.

Woo!

(screen whooshing)

Wow, I had so much

fun with you today

here at the Royal Air Force

Museum in London, England.

We got to see aeroplanes ,

and jets, and rescue

helicopters. (laughs)

I even got to sit in the

cockpit of a Spitfire plane.

Yeah!

Well, that's the

end of this video,

but if you wanna watch

more of my videos,

all you have to do is

search for my name.

Hey, will you spell

my name with me?

(laughs) Great.

Okay.

B-L-I-P-P-I.

Blippi.

Good job.

Well, I'll see you soon.

Bye bye.
