The rest of the stuff in here are reasons

why canoes are more than just a boat.

It'’s my letter to Santa.

I'’m asking him for snow on Christmas.

It never snows here, but wouldn'’t it be

the best present to wake up to

on Christmas morning?

- Santa can make it happen.

I asked Santa for a back scratcher,

that'’s, like, super hard to reach,

and the next day I got Rocket!

Now he scratches my back, and I scratch his.

My room'’s not gonna be big enough

but I'’m thinking this house of candy

has something to do with that.

It'’s one of the most special holidays of the year.

First, you write a letter to Santa

about what you want for Christmas.

Then, Santa'’s elves make the presents in his workshop

for Santa to deliver by Christmas morning.

Christmas sounds fantastic!

That'’s why I need help.

Santa'’s in the North Pole,

and there'’s no way for me to reach him in time.

There are tiny marshmallows in the hot chocolate

that are shaped like tiny cups of hot chocolate!

- Are you sure you don'’t want to move your house here, Leah?

I know it'’s super-duper cold,

but this Santa fellow really knows how to live.

- Ho, ho, ho, ho.

- Santa!

- This big man in red is Santa?

Oh, I get it!

Wait. How do you know my name?

- I know every child in the world,

even the genies in Zahramay Falls.

[Nahal purring]

And their adorable pets.

[chattering and meowing]

- Then how come we'’ve never seen you before,

or more importantly, gotten a present?

[Tala grunts]

- Well, you need a genie bottle

to get to Zahramay Falls,

and I don'’t have one.

If I did, I'’d bring you presents every day

to make up for all the genie Christmases I missed.

- I'’m good with that answer.

- [chatters]

- Santa, before I forget again,

I want to give you this.

It'’s a letter from my friend Zac.

- Now, that'’s a letter!

You'’re a good friend, Leah.

Coming all this way to make sure

Zac gets his canoe.

- How did you know about the canoe?

You haven'’t opened the letter yet.

- [chuckles]

Zac'’s been sending me a letter

every day since last Christmas.

According to him, letters could accidentally

be thrown out with an old pizza coupon

or fall into a swamp, because, how does he put it?

It happens, happens a lot.

- That does sound like Zac.

- Well, we don'’t want to take up your time,

so we should probably go home.

- We'’re leaving already?

I just got another cup of hot chocolate.

- You can'’t leave yet.

Let Shine finish her drink.

In the meantime, maybe you girls might like to,

oh, I don'’t know, go on a tour of my workshop?

- Really?

- We'’re gonna see elves make presents?

- As you can see, there are still

lots of presents to finish before Christmas.

- We have elves working on wooden toys,

painting toy cars,

elves making dolls,

and little helpers on gift-wrapping.

I'’d be happy just to get a wrapped box!

- [meowing]

- Looks like Nahal needs a new sweater.

- [meows discontentedly]

- After the presents are finished,

they'’re loaded into a bag for me to deliver on my sleigh.

- What kind of elves are these?

They'’re so adorable!

Those aren'’t elves, Shine.

They'’re reindeer.

They help me pull my sleigh.

- Attention: one hour to go time!

next to getting genies!

Not when Santa still has presents to deliver.

once we find where Santa disappeared to.

Third wish of the day!

- Oh, my gosh!

- What better way to calm down than with a nap!

- But that was my last wish.

And we need them a little more awake

to finish the presents!

- Oh, sleigh bells.

I thought that'’s what you wished for.

- I did, so it was my mistake,

but maybe it'’ll be all right.

First thing'’s first,

we need to finish these presents,

and then we can find Santa.

How many are left to make?

- About feet of them.

- [sighs]

We'’re gonna need a Christmas miracle

to clean up the mess we made.

- Did you say clean?

I love to clean!

- And I do not!

But I know it makes Shimmer happy when I try.

I'’m so happy we found you!

Now you can deliver the presents!

- I don'’t know how.

Santa'’s sleigh is kind of not going anywhere.

- Maybe we can pull it out!

[all grunting]

This may take a while.

- And by then it'’ll be Christmas morning!

If only we had something else that Santa could fly.

And even though we just learned about Christmas,

we did manage to come up with a last-minute gift for you.

It'’s something you really, really need.

- Now you can bring Christmas to Zahramay Falls!
