[ Birds singing ]

[ Owl hooting... ]

[ Hen squawks ]

Cat: boo!

[ Squawking ]

All: whoa!

[ All laughing ]

[ Sighs ]

Come look!

It's snowing, see?

Mm-hmm.

Lots of snow.

Hmm...

[ Humming ]

Let's go play in the snow.

I have too much to do this morning.

You go ahead, little bear.

[ Sewing machine whirring ]

[ Humming ]

Brr! Mother bear, I'm cold.

Cold?

But you haven't even gone outside yet.

I want something to wear in the snow.

Ah, all right, then.

Close your eyes

And I'll make you something to put on.

[ Imitates sewing machine ]

What are you making, mother bear?

No peeking.

[ Imitates sewing machine ]

All done.

You can look now.

A hat!

Now I won't be cold.

Hooray!

Thank you, mother bear.

[ Chuckles ]

[ Snaps ]

[ Giggling ]

[ Grunting ]

Whew.

[ Humming ]

Brr...

Oh, is somebody here?

Done playing so soon?

Mother bear, I'm cold.

Aha. Well, then, I guess you must want something to put on.

How did you know?

Let's see.

What shall I make for my little bear now?

Something good that goes with the hat.

Better close your eyes first.

[ Humming ]

Hmm...

No peeking.

[ Imitating sewing machine ]

There you go.

Did you make it just for me?

Just for you.

Hooray!

A coat.

Now I won't be cold.

Better button it up just to be sure.

Have fun, little bear.

[ Grunting ]

Whew.

Brr... I'm still cold.

Do you want something?

Brr...

I'll close my eyes now.

Good idea.

Let's see.

[ Imitating sewing machine ]

Here's just the thing.

All ready.

Snow pants.

Now you can't be cold.

Just perfect.

[ Chair squeaking... ]

[ Clears throat ]

[ Mother bear gasps ]

What can you want now?

Brr... I'm still cold.

My little bear, you have a hat

You have a coat, you have snow pants.

Do you want a fur coat, too?

Yes, I want a fur coat, too.

All right, little bear, give me your hat.

Give me your coat.

Now the snow pants.

There.

My own fur coat.

[ Laughing ]

Hmm...

Hmm?

You can't possibly be cold.

No, but come on.

[ Grunts ]

Wait, close your eyes.

No peeking.

Okay, you can look now.

A snow bear.

I made him all by myself.

It's perfect.

I wish he had buttons for a snow coat.

Will these do?

Buttons!

I miss father bear.

I wish he could see my snowman.

I miss him, too.

We'll tell him all about it when he gets back.

Wait!

I know.

Father bear's hat

And his scarf.

He was cold.

He wanted something to put on.

[ Both laughing ]

Now he looks just like father bear.

[ Sighing ]

And you know what else?

What?

I'm not even cold.

[ Grunts ]

[ Both laughing ]

[ Birds singing ]

[ Humming... ]

[ Grunts ]

[ Squawks ]

[ All squawk ]

Whoa...

Where's cat?

[ Meows ]

Boo!

[ All squawk ]

Hey, cat, where were you?

Hiding.

That's a good idea.

Let's play hide and seek.

Hen: yeah.

An excellent idea.

I was about to suggest it myself.

Can I be the one who looks this time?

Can i? Can i?

I never get to look.

Can i? Can i?

Duck's right, you know.

[ Sighs ]

Okay.

This should be interesting.

I'm the seeker!

I'm the seeker!

Oh, duck?

Me!

Duck?

Duck.

Let's start!

Oh, yay!

We're starting!

We're starting!

Uh, how do we start again?

You have to close your eyes

So we can hide.

And don't forget to turn around

And count to ten.

Turn around and...

And no peeking!

And no peeking.

Whoa!

Okay.

Eyes closed, turn around...

And what?

Start counting.

Oh, right!

One...

Two... Ooh!

Three...

Five, six...

Oh, my, didn't I already say six?

But I don't remember saying four yet.

I better go back to four.

Four...

Look, hen, it's just about your size.

[ Squawks ]boo!

[ Grunting ]

Five, six...

You'll get stuck.

No, I won't.

Let me try.

No, it's just my size.

Boo![ Squawks ]

All the best spots are taken!

You better hurry, hen!

Duck: seven, eight, one...

No, I don't think I mean one.

Take that back.

Nine?

Yes, nine.

And, um, ten!

Um, now what?

All: start seeking!

Oh, yeah.

Uh, seeking.

Ready or not, here I come.

[ Brush rustles ]

[ Gasps ]

[ Squawks ]

[ Stifling sneeze ]

[ Sniffing ]

[ Stifling sneeze ]

[ Honks ]

Boo![ Squawks ]

Uh...

Whew.

Boo!

[ Squawks ]

What's taking so long?

Maybe I'll never be found.

Hello?

Anyone there?

[ Quacks ]

I see you, whoever you are.

[ Squawks ]

[ Squawks ]

Little bear, I found you!

No, duck, I found you.

What are you doing?

I'm seeking, of course.

Have you found anyone yet?

Well, not yet.

Oh, but I found frog!

[ Croaks ]

I found you, frog.

You cannot find what isn't lost.

Ribbit.

I guess frog's not in the mood to play.

It's very hard to find your friends when they're hiding.

Come on.

We'll find them.

[ Birds singing... ]

Look, duck.

Footprints!

I see my footprints.

Uh, maybe hen's been here.

Oh, you're right.

Hen tracks.

And they go round

And around and around.

And they go round and around

And around and around and...

Ooh!

Oh, ooh!

[ Singing ]

Hen!

I found you, hen.

Oh, my! Looks like I'm finally found.

Let's find owl now.

[ Quacks ]

He must have found a good hiding spot.

[ Snoring ]

[ Squawks ]

Did you hear something?

It sounds like it's coming...

...from over there.

[ Snoring... ]

We see you, owl!

We see you.

Boo.

[ Birds squawk ]

[ Laughs ]

[ Bear, cat laugh ]

I wasn't asleep, by the way.

[ Clears throat ]

That was to fool you.

[ All laugh ]

Oh, look.

We're all found.

Next time, I think maybe

I want to hide, too.

Right now, I have to look for something else.

Aw, you do?

My lunch!

Good-bye.

[ Growls ]

Mother bear?

Boo!

Oh!

I found you.

No, I found you.

[ Both laugh ]

[ Owl hooting ]

[ Yawning ]

Good night, moon.

[ Birds chirping ]

[ Sighing ]

Oh!

Good morning, sun.

What have you done with the moon?

[ Humming ]

Interesting.

[ Metal clatters ]

Hmm...

[ Rattles ]

Hmm...

[ Metal clatters ]

Little bear: look at me!

I have a new space helmet.

I see.

I'm going to the moon.

Oh, really?

How?

I'm going to fly there.

Fly? You can't fly.

Birds fly.

Yes, birds fly.

But they don't fly to the moon.

And you're not a bird.

Maybe some birds fly to the moon.

And maybe I can fly like a bird.

And maybe you're a little fat bear cub with no wings

And no feathers.

Maybe if you jump up

You'll come down very fast.

With a big plop.

Maybe, but maybe not.

I'm going now.

[ Door creaks ]

Just look for me up in the sky.

Be back for lunch.

[ Birds chirping ]

[ Hooting ]

I like your space helmet, little bear.

Thank you, owl.

I'm going to the moon.

Have a good trip.

I'll jump from a good, high spot.

I'll jump way far up, into the sky and fly up, up, up.

Now.

I just need a good high spot

To take off from.

Hmm...

Not high enough.

Whoa.

Ah.

I'll be going too fast

To look at things

So I'll just shut my eyes.

One, two...

Three.

[ Echoing ]: oh!

Everything's so strange.

I must be on the moon.

Note: the moon looks a lot like the earth.

Well, well.

They have trees, too.

Hmm...

[ Sniffing ]

And birds...

Just like our birds.

[ Twittering ]

A real moon bird.

[ Twittering... ]

[ Chirping ]

Moon music.

[ Croaking ]

[ Bees buzzing... ]

Hmm...

Moon flowers.

[ Sniffing ]

Hmm...

[ Loud buzzing ]

What do you know?

That house looks just like my house.

I'll go in and see

What kind of bears live here.

[ Door creaks ]

If they even are bears...

[ Calling ]: hello.

[ Creaking ]

Interesting...

[ Sniffing ]

Moon food!

This looks like a good lunch

For a little bear.

[ Sniffs ]

But who is this?

Are you a bear from earth?

Oh, yes, I am.

And how did you get here?

There was this big hill.

I climbed it and jumped from a big tree

And flew here.

Just like the birds.

My little bear did

The very same thing this morning.

So... I guess you can have his lunch.

Stop fooling.

You're my mother bear.

And I'm your little bear.

And we're on earth and you know it.

Now... Can I eat my lunch?

Yes, you can.

And then you'll have your nap.

Because you are my little bear.
