The snow looks perfect.

Oh, it's bills and stuff.

The snow is deep.

Mother bear: of course.

Oh, it's a list of things we need

And things we don't.

Is hot soup in the budget?

Absolutely.

Definitely.

That's right at the top of the list.

For grandmother and grandfather bear.

When falls becomes winter...

And the sun sets early and the moon falls asleep...

We hang lanterns, so the snow angels

Can find their way

On the longest night of the year.

Lucy was worried about the snowstorm.

It was no problem.

Granny: welcome.

Let's get you warmed up.

It's becoming a real blizzard out there.

[Soft growling, barking ]

Let's get you some hot sassafras tea

And a little honey.

That should take the chill

Out of your bones.

[Yapping ]

Yes, tutu?

[Friendly growling ]

[Yaps ]

Why, thank you.

Thank you, emily.

Here's to old friends, new friends

The best of friends.

And our first blizzard together.

All: and our first blizzard together.

Little bear: mmm...

I feel warmer already.

I think I'll just stand here

By the fire until I'm toasted.

Keep turning around

[Squeaking happily ]

[All laugh ]

Granny: thank you, emily.

You're welcome, granny.

Now, I'm going to need an assistant

To help out with dessert.

Who knows anything about dessert?

Perfect!

Will you be my assistant, little bear?

Sure. What do I have to do?

[Whispering ]

Granny: now...

We take a bowl

An ordinary, empty bowl...

Add a few magic ingredients...

What does "snowbound" mean?

It means... We can't get out.

Little bear: my wish came true!

You'll all have to stay the night.

[Tutu barking ]

I'll make you a nice bed by the fire.

What about pajamas?

I already thought of that.

[Laughing ]

Those clothes, granny?

I once was a guest of the czar

Who was like the king of russia

When out of nowhere, a terrible blizzard hit

And we were trapped for days

In the royal palace.

What did you do?

Well, for one thing

I learned how to dance.

[Starts playing folk tune ]

[Humming same tune... ]

Granny:whoo!

[Humming ]

[All joining ]: hey, hey, hey!

[Little bear giggles ]

[Laughter ]

Little bear: I know a joke.

Knock, knock.

Adults: who's there?

Boo.

All: boo who?

Aw, why is everybody crying?

[Chuckling ]

Hmm... I give up.

[Little bear giggles ]

[Snoring softly ]

Wake up, everyone, it's moose.

Being snowbound is so much fun.
