I'm just walking him for a friend of mine.

- Looks like the dog is walking reed.

- Yeah, come join us!

- [Breathing heavily]

I'd love to come jam with you guys, thanks.

Maybe I could play my guitar-- whoa! Bye, guys.

- Bye, reed. - Bye.

- Okay.

Hey, let's get to the park and get the music started.

- Yeah.

I think we're all set.

- All right, here we go.

[Upbeat music]

- Oh, I don't think that sounded quite right.

- There's too many low notes.

- Yeah, why don't you try starting with some high notes?

- Hey, kickin'.

Okay, let's do it.

- All right. And here we go again.

- [Howls]

[Clears throats]

- So, shout, I got a question.

- Why am I howling?

Hey.

[Banjo barks]

- Hmm? See?

Hey, look, over there.

- Shout wasn't howling.

- Oh, it was banjo.

- Hey, banjo. Come here.

- Hi, banjo.

[All talking]

- How you doing, old pal?

- Banjo, there you are.

He must have come over here when he heard you guys playing.

- Hey, hey, banjo, you want to play fetch?

- Hey, yeah, go get it. Yeah, boy.

- My drumstick! Kiki, get it!

- Banjo!

- Banjo, come here.

- Get it, kiki! Get it!

- I got him!

- I got him right now.

Oh, whoa. Didn't get him.

- I got you, banjo. Sorry.

- Wow, he's really fast.

- Um, guys?

- Yeah, this is a problem.

- We have got to get my drumstick back

So I can jam with everyone.

- I know.

Allow me.

I'll offer him a trade.

Banjo, this real stick for that there drumstick.

What do you say, huh?

Just let me have it.

Oh, please? Please?

All right. Not bad.

Now, hey. How about a real stick?

Come on, banjo.

He traded me the drumstick... For my headphones!

Guys, he's got my headphones!

- Maybe he wants to play chase.

- Guys, we have a problem.

- We'll have to put our heads together and make it...

All: no problem.

[All apologizing]

- Can I make a suggestion, please?

Why don't we all go--

- [Sniffing]

- [Together] that way.

- Let's go.

- And I'll check to see

If banjo's gone back to the park.

- See you soon, reed.

- Here, banjo! Come on, buddy.

- Hey, come on, banjo. Come, boy.

- Come to kiki.

- [Howling]

- I speak dog, so...

- Huh. - Huh.

[Dog barking]

- Oh, hey.

- Oh, my gosh, here he comes!

- And there he goes.

- Come on. After banjo!

Oh, banjo went into kiki's apartment.

- Let's go. - Follow him.

[All calling for banjo]

- Banjo!

- Come on, banjo!

- Where is that dog?

- I don't know, but he's got to be around here somewhere.

- Well, we gotta keep looking, guys.

- Yeah, let's just use our heads.

Remember, we're much smarter than he is.

- All right. - Yeah.

- Excuse me.

Sir, have you seen my friend banjo?

He's a scruffy little guy, about this tall, medium build.

He's really friendly, but he's entirely unpredictable.

Nothing, huh?

Well, don't worry about it.

I have that same hat, incidentally.

I'm off to chase him.

Wait a minute.

You don't think that was--

- [Together] banjo?

- Banjo!

Oh, my goodness. Banjo, don't move.

We got you.

Wait up. No! Oh, boy.

- It looks like he's heading to the park.

- Then so are we.

- Does anybody see banjo?

- I don't. Oh, boy.

Banjo sure is good at hide and seek.

- And running.

- He's worn us out.

- I'm almost too tired to jam.

- Yeah, chasing banjo isn't working.

- There's got to be a better way to find him.

- Hey, I know.

Wouldn't it be cool if, say, we went to the dog store

And then we got something that, you know, banjo really liked,

Like a giant dog biscuit?

Or, even better, what if we got

A remote-controlled giant dog biscuit

And we just drove that thing all the way around everywhere?

And then banjo eventually would--

You know, he'd sniff it out,

And then he'd follow it back here to the park.

- That would be cool.

Or we could just use something we already have

To get banjo to come back to us.

- Oh, sure, if you want to do it the easy way.

- Do we know what banjo likes?

- I don't.

- [Gasps] but I know someone who does.

All: reed!

- [Whistling]

- Hey, reed.

- Hi. Oh, we have a question.

What does banjo like?

- Ah, well, he loves to play fetch. -Okay.

- He loves to play chase. - Chase.

- Oh, he loves hide and seek.

And he loves music. - Music, got it.

Fetch, chase, hide and seek, and music.

Fetch, chase, hide and seek...

And music? Music?

- Oh, right!

Banjo came to us when e played music in the park.

- Hey, I know; I can play music on my violin.

- Marvelous, kiki. Give it a go.

- Okay, let's try and bring banjo back to us.

- Hey, it's working.

- He's coming to us.

Oh, keep playing, kiki.

[Plays different tune]

- Hey, hey, hey, banjo's leaving.

- Uh, uh, what happened?

- Hey, kiki, quick.

Play something else before he runs away.

[Plays original tune]

- [Laughs]

- He loves it.

- Guys, I got it. - What?

He likes the high notes.

Listen. First I'll play some low notes.

- Hey, banjo's leaving again.

- Quick, kiki, play the high notes again.

- You got it.

Watch what happens.

Banjo loves the high notes.

- Hey, kiki, let's lead him to the park.

- Yeah, come on, guys. Follow me.

- Yeah, let's do it.

- It's working, kiki!

- Cool beans!

Banjo's coming with us.

Come on, everybody.

- Hip-hop and pop. We did it.

- Thanks for getting banjo back, guys.

- It was easy, reed...

Once we figured out that banjo loves the high notes.

- Yes, yes, good.

- Hey, you guys ready to jam?

- Yeah!

- I think banjo's ready to hear some music.

Aren't you, boy?

Yeah.

[Banjo barks] yeah.

- Let's get up...

- Get down...

- [Together] and jam.

Ooh, ooh!

- Come on, banjo. - Come on, banjo.

[Applause]

- Okay.

- All right. Everybody ready?

Let's do it.

- Oh, look.

I think banjo wants to play with us.

Even dogs can make music.

I don't think he's leaving at all.

- Oh, he just wanted his friends to play music with us too.
