[crowd cheering]

[engines roaring]

[tires squealing]

- Whoa-ho!

What a race.

Look at those monster machines go, go, go.

- Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- Yeah.

[engines roaring]

- Hey, I'm Blaze,

and this is my driver, A.J.

- Check it out.

We're in the middle of a big race.

- Come on, A.J.

Let's show 'em what we got.

[engine roaring]



- Whoo-hoo!

[tires squealing]

Nice moves, Blaze.

- Yeah-hah, we're doing great.

[horn honking]

- Not as great as me.

[laughing]

- Yuck.

- Uh-oh, now Crusher's ahead of us.

- Don't worry. We can still catch up.

A.J., give me some speed.

[engine revving]

- Yeah-hah-hah! Whoo-hoo!

Go, everybody. Go, go, go.

Yay!

[sighs]

All this cheering is making me hungry.

I got to get a snack.

[upbeat music]

Ooh, hot dogs.

Oh, man.

Those hot dogs look hot.

Really, really, hot.

[giggles]

[gasps]

They're on fire.

Oh, no.

The whole hot dog stand is on fire!

I've got to get help,

and I know just who to call.

[engines roaring]

[car phone ringing]

Blaze, A.J., come in.

- It's Pickle.

- Oh, boy. You guys have got to hurry.

There's a big emergency.

- Gaskets, it's a fire,

and it's right by the finish line.

- We have to hurry and put out that fire, fast!

- Yeah, and to do that,

we've got to turn me into a fire engine.

First, we need a telescoping ladder

that can go up and down.

To make it, say "telescoping ladder."

Telescoping ladder.

[triumphant music]

Great.

Now we need a light bar.

It has flashing lights and a loud siren

to let everyone know we're coming.

To build the light bar,

say "light bar."

Light bar.

And now, the most important part:

a hose to blast water and put out the fire.

To make the fire hose,

say "fire hose."

Fire hose.

Oh, yeah!

I'm a fire-fighting...

Monster Machine.

[upbeat rock music]

- All right.

You're a real fire truck now, Blaze.

- Come on. Time to put out that fire.

[siren wailing]



- Listen, y'all, it sounds like a fire engine.

- It's Blaze.

- [growls] But it must be an emergency.

- Go, Blaze. - Yee-haw!

- Yeah. - Whoo-hoo!

[siren wailing]

- What? Is that Blaze?

- Firefighters coming through.

- [yelling][groans]

[siren wailing]

- Blaze is the winner,

and he's a fire engine.

[siren wailing]

- There's the fire.

- Quick, turn on the hose,

full blast.

[metal squeaking]



The fire is out.

[crowd roaring]

- Way to go, Blaze! - Yeah.

- Yeah. - Go, Blaze!

- I'll be. - Yay for Blaze.

- That was awesome.

- Yeah-hah, he put out the fire!

- He won the race.

- He b*at me.

[weeping]

- Oh, wow. That was amazing.

You're a real hero, Blaze.

- Aw, thanks, Pickle.

You were great, too.

You did exactly what you were supposed to.

When you saw a fire, you called for help.

- Oh, well, you know,

I was just doing my best.

[phone ringing]

- Hang on, Blaze.

It sounds like someone else is calling us.

[gasps] It's the Fire Chief.

- Hey, Chief, What's going on?

- Blaze, A.J. Boy, am I glad to see you.

We've got a big emergency.

- An emergency?

- There's a fire at the old bridge,

way on the other side of Axle City.

We could really use your help.

- You've got it, Chief.

We'll be there as fast as we can.

- See you soon, Blaze. Chief out.

- Oh, no, a fire on the bridge.

- And it sounds like a big one.

- Fire bad.

- They sure need your help,Blaze.

Y'all had better hurry.

- We'd better use blazing speed

to help us go super fast.



- To give me blazing speed,

say "Let's blaze."

both: Let's blaze.



[siren wailing]

Firefighter Blaze is on the way.

[engine roaring]

[upbeat music]

- [grunts]

Whoo.

- The concrete's all mixed.

- All right, let's lift that wrecking ball.

A little bit higher...

a little bit higher.

[dramatic music]

- Uh-oh, the cable is breaking.

- The wrecking ball is about to fall.

- Look out, everyone!

- [yells]

[all screaming]



- Whoa!

- Oh, no.

That worker's in trouble.

- Gaskets, we have to help him.

[engine roaring]

- Whoa, whoa, whoa.



- [grunts]

- Phew, that was a close one.

Thanks, Blaze.

- You're welcome.

Now we'd better get going.

We have a fire to put out.

- Uh, hang on, Blaze.

We've got a big problem.

Look.

The whole road is gone. - Hubcaps.

We'll never get to the fire unless we find some way

to fix this hole.

Ah-ha!, I've got it.

We can fill the hole with concrete from these mixers.

- Yeah, let's do it.

- To fix the road, we need enough concrete

to take up all the space

inside the hole.

- Switching to Visor-View.

[electronic whir, beeping]

- The amount of space something takes up

is called volume.

- Here's the volume of concrete we need to fill the hole.

What number is this?

, yeah.

That means we need megaliters of concrete.

- All right, A.J.

Let's dump some concrete.

[concrete gurgling]

and A.J. poured in one.

but to fill the hole all the way,

- We just need a little more.

- Hey, you guys, more concrete up here.

- Great. Let's dump it in.

[concrete gurgling]

- And look, the concrete is hardening.

Now we can drive over it.

- Whoo-hoo. - Yeah.

Now let's get moving.

- Yeah, we have a fire to put out.

[siren wailing]

[truck beeping]

- Hang in there, Chief.

We'll be there as soon as we can.

- Hear that, firefighters?

Help is on the way.

- Whoo-hoo-hoo. - Come on, Blaze.

- All right.

- Good luck, Blaze.

We're all counting on you.

Chief out.

- Those firefighters are doing their best,

but they really need our help.

- We've got to hurry.

[siren wailing]

- Firefighters on our way.



- [sobbing]

- Boy, that Blaze

is on a winning streak today, huh?

Mmm, first he b*at you in a race...

mmm, and then he put out a fire...

mmm, and best of all,

he saved the hot dogs.

[giggles] Mmm.

- [weeping]

- Aww, don't be sad, Crusher.

Here, maybe a bite of my hot dog will cheer you up.

- [blows raspberry]

Ugh, no.

I don't want a hot dog.

The only thing that could cheer me up now is...

[gasps]

Ice cream.

- Oh, gee, Crusher.

I don't have any ice cream.

- Then I'll have to make some myself.

I'll build...

[electronic whirring]

An ice cream scooper machine.

[upbeat music]

[giggles]

Mmm, oh, yeah.

So good.

- Uh, Crusher,

don't you think you have enough?

- Now that you mention it,

no.

I want more ice cream.

More, more.

[metal clanking]

[ice cream whistling in air]

Uh-oh.

[yells]

[ice cream splashes]

- Look out. - [shouts]

- Ice cream.

- Let's get out of here.

Whoa, it's everywhere.

- Whoa. - Whoa, watch out!

- Hubcaps.

Everybody's trying to get away from...

ice cream.

[both yelling]

[ice cream splashes]

- Oh, man.

We'll never make it to the fire

if we get hit by one of those giant scoops.

- [yelling]

It's got chunks.

- Uh-oh.

Ris is in trouble.

- I'll save you, Ris.

[water spraying]

[tires squealing]

- Phew. - Whoo-hoo.

Nice sh*t. - Thanks, Blaze.

I owe you one.

- Well, now we know how to get past the ice cream.

- Yeah, we can use our fire hose

to blast it away.

[tires squealing]

- Help us blast away the ice cream.

When you see ice cream coming,

say "ice cream."

- Nice one, Blaze.

- All right.

Just keep on the lookout

for more flying ice cream.

[engine roaring]

- Oh, yeah.

- So long, ice cream.

[engine roaring]

- [groans]

There's the fire.

We've got to get there right away.

I need you to give me blazing speed

so we can get to the firefighters super fast.

We're ready to help.

- Glad you made it, Blaze. Now, come on.

Let's put out this fire once and for all.

- Yeah, come on. - Yeah.

- Whoo-hoo. - Let's do it.

- Get your hoses ready.

- Let's blast.

Yeah-hah. - Whoa.

- Whoo-hoo-hoo. - All right.

- Yeah. - Whoo-hoo.



[water spraying]

- Uh-oh, something's wrong.

I'm all out of water.

- [gasps]

So am I.

[fire crackling]

- Gaskets.

I don't have any more water, either.

- Oh, no.

- We're all out of water.

- This isn't good.

- What do we do, Chief?

- We need a plan.

- To put out that fire,

we've got to get more water,

and fast.

- Blaze, look over there.

Those tanks are full of water.

Good thinking, A.J.

Hang on, firefighters.

We'll be right back.

Yeah-hah. - You can do it.

- Go for it, Blaze.



- To put out the fire,

we need the most water we can get.

- Let's use my visor to see which t*nk

is holding the most water.

Switching to Visor-View.

[electronic whir, beeping]

Visor, show us the volume of water

in each t*nk.

- This t*nk has megaliters of water inside.

Which number is the biggest?

Quick, A.J., connect the hose

- You got it, Blaze.

There, you've got water now.

- All right. Now come on.

Let's use this water to go put out that fire

once and for all.

- Yeah-hah.

- Whoo-hoo.

- Look, Chief, Blaze is back.

- That's right,

and I've got enough water

to put out the fire.

both: Whoa-ho. - Wow.

- Stand back, everyone,

and let Blaze do his thing.

Come on, Blaze. You can do it.



- You ready, A.J.? - Ready.

- Then let's blast this fire.

- Go for it, Blaze. - Yeah-hah.

- You can do it.

- Raising the ladder.

Turning on the hose.

[water spraying]

I've ever seen.

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah.

- Whoo-hoo. - Way to go, guys.

- Hooray. - Whoo.

♪ I'm cleaning up the ice cream ♪

Wow.

Who knew cleaning up ice cream

could be so much fun?

- Aw, you only think cleaning up is fun

because you have that hose.

I'm stuck with this boring, old mop.

- Hey, let's share.

Here, I'll take the mop,

[giggles]

Stand back, Pickle.

I'm gonna blast this ice cream

with so much water.

Huh?

Hello? Water? Are you in there?

- Well, that's weird.

I wonder what's stopping the water.

Oh-- [laughing]

Wait, I see the problem.

I'm standing on the hose.

- Uh-oh.

[screaming]

[grunts]
