Hi there!

Hi!

Good morning, Mr. Grouper!

[silly snoring]

Mr. Grouper, it's daytime.

You're supposed to be awake!

Wha- Oh ho ho!

You got me, Deema!

I was pretending to be nocturnal.

Nocturnal means that you sleep during the day,

and are awake at night.

Awake at night?

What?

Oh, yes.

You know, there are actually a lot of animals

that are nocturnal,

like owls, bats and raccoons.

So they play at night?

And eat at night?

While we're asleep?

That's right.

But Mr. Grouper, how do they see

when it's so dark outside?

I know!

Owls have big, big eyes

so they can see better at night.

And raccoons use their noses to help them

find their way around in the dark.

And bats?
