Welcome to Mutt & Stuff.

I'’m even more sorry that I can'’t go on the playground

with the--ah...

You look just like Zippy.

Last one to class is a barking dog.

- Good morning, everyone.

I'’m feeling a little sick today,

but I called my cousin Marco to come help out.

Uh, but we can do doggie roll call before he gets here.

Let'’s start with my dog--ah-choo!

[whimpers]

Ugh.

Ah, next is Princess--

Ah-choo!

Oh.

And the dog who always--ah--ahchoo!

Oh, this is going to take forever.

Quick, is everyone here?

[all bark]

- Woof! - Great.

Are all the mice here?

- Yep. I'’m here!

And I'’ve got something for you, Calvin.

It'’s a tissue.

You know, in case you need to sneeze.

- Oh, great.

- Here, let me just get it out.

Come on.

I can'’t see anything.

Ah!

- Ah-choo!

Oh.

Don'’t worry, Zippy.

I'’ll be okay.

And Marco will take good care of everyone while I get better.

[whines]

- Hey, cousin Calvin.

I'’m ready to help.

So, uh, what am I helping with?

- Well, I'’m feeling a little sick today,

so you'’re in charge of Mutt & Stuff.

- I'’m in charge of Mutt & Stuff?

Me?

Yes!

Don'’t worry, Calvin.

This will be easy peasy and doggy sneezy.

I mean, squeezy.

- Great.

Well, now I can finally get some rest.

- Ooh, well, I have the perfect bed for you.

[humming]

Tah-dah!

- Oh, uh, Stuff, I think it might have to be

a little bigger.

- Really?

Bigger?

Huh.

Well, how about something like this?

There.

One huge cozy bed for my buddy Calvin.

- Wow.

It'’s perfect. Ah.

- All right, in you go. - Ah.

- And this.

- Ah.

Haven'’t seen you in a while, Mr. Snuggle Muffin.

- All right. Now I get to tuck you in.

- Shh.

Let'’s leave Calvin alone.

- Huh? Oh.

Right. Yeah. Okay.

Get better, Calvin.

[giggles]

- Calvin.

What should we do with the dogs first?

- Oh.

An activity.

- An activity. Got it.

Come on, Zippy. Time to spin the wheel.

[whines]

Don'’t be sad, Zippy.

Calvin will feel better before you know it.

[whines]

Tell you what.

Instead of doing activities,

we'’ll find ways to make Calvin feel better.

Would you like that?

[barks]

I thought you would.

Come on.

- Oh, hey, Marco.

I have an idea.

We can call a doctor,

'’cause that'’s what Calvin does when one of us is sick.

- Good idea, Stuff.

You call the doctor,

and I'’ll go check on the puppies.

- Great.

- Hmm.

- Hey, Davenport.

Davenport.

- [mumbles]

Uh, oh, hey, Zoe.

- When you get sick, do you see a doctor?

- Why, sure.

Unless I close my eyes.

[laughter]

- I'’m okay. - Meow too.

- Time to check on the puppies, just like Calvin does.

Maybe the puppies are resting, too.

They'’re not resting at all.

- Don'’t worry, Zippy.

The doctor will be here soon to make Calvin feel all better.

- Hey, Zippy.

I came as soon as I could.

- Oh, Dr. Kristina.

Hey, did you bring something to help?

- Oh, yes, I did.

- Oh.

- I brought a flea collar,

a dog cone,

and a dog bone.

- Ooh.

- Oh, by the way, who'’s sick?

Is it Cuddles? - No.

- Grumbles? - Uh-uh.

- Pixie. - No.

- Sonny. - No.

- Rocket. - No.

- Uh, Princess Pickles. - Uh-uh.

- Giggle and Wiggle. - Not even close.

Nope. It'’s somebody else.

Come on. I'’ll show you.

- Okay.

- [giggles]

Here'’s the patient.

- Calvin?

- Hi, Dr. Kristina.

- Hi, Calvin.

I'’m sorry you'’re not feeling well.

- It'’s okay.

- Stuff, I'’m a veterinarian.

That means I'’m an animal doctor, not a people doctor.

- Wha--oh, that makes some sense.

- Stuff, let'’s talk over here so Calvin can rest.

- Yeah, right.

- You know, Stuff, when I'’m sick,

I eat healthy food, I drink plenty of juice and water,

and I try to sleep.

That should make Calvin feel better.

- Okay.

Food, drinks, and sleep.

No problem.

We'’ll make sure that happens.

- You'’re a good friend, Stuff.

Call me any time.

- Ooh.

- When a dog isn'’t feeling well.

- Dogs. Not people.

Okay. Got it.

Yeah.

- How'’d it go with Dr. Kristina?

What'’d she say?

- Well, she said, "Hi, Stuff,

I came as soon as I could."

- After that.

- Oh, gotcha, yeah.

She said, um,

"Eating, drinking, and sleeping will make Calvin feel better.

- Eating.

Then let'’s get him some food.

Hmm.

What would I eat to make me feel better if I were sick?

- Hmmm...

- I know.

A get-well-soon-Calvin cake

would make me feel better for sure.

- Oh, yeah.

And we can make him a get-well- soon-Calvin card, too.

That would make me feel better.

- Let'’s get started.

I'’ll order the cake from the bakery,

and you guys make the cards.

It'’s time for arts and crafts.

- Or make that arts and cakes.

[laughs]

[upbeat music]

- Hey, Princess Pickles.

Here'’s a joke you can tell Calvin to make him feel better.

[clears throat]

What do you call a train with a cold?

A-choo-choo train!

[laughs]

What, no laugh?

How about a sneeze?

[barks]

Ah, close enough.

- Calvin'’s card is done.

- Cool card, Stuff.

Calvin'’s gonna love it.

- Thanks.

[doorbell rings] [dog barks]

- And that'’s the baker with the cake.

It'’s Zamora, the baker.

Thanks for the cake.

[barks]

This will make Calvin feel better for sure.

- Yeah.

- Calvie!

We'’ve got the best thing in the world

to help make you feel better.

Besides kibble, that is.

- A get-well-soon cake.

- And a get-well-soon-Calvin card.

- Whoa!

[grumbles]

- Oh.

Sorry, sorry, sorry.

- It'’s okay, Marco.

It was just an accident.

- Hey, uh, ta-da.

Don'’t forget your card there.

- So, uh, do you feel any better?

- Not really.

But thanks for trying.

- Okay.

I'’ll keep trying.

- Oh.

Erm...

Just tuck you in there.

See, '’cause there'’s all this...

[clears throat] cake on you.

- Still not feeling well.

We'’re trying to figure out how to make him feel better.

- Hmm.

I bet Calvin would feel much better

if you pull that rope.

- Pulling this rope will make Calvin feel better?

- Oh, yeah.

- That sounds too good to be true.

- [laughs]

- It was too good to be true.

Noodles, you got me.

But you know what?

This party confetti gave me a great idea.

- Oh, glad I could help.

- Sure, sick of falling out of this tree.

[laughter]

- I'’m okay. - Meow too.

- Hit it, Princess Pickles.

- Whoa.

What'’s going on, you guys?

Is it someone'’s birthday?

- No, cousin Calvin.

We'’re throwing you a get-well-soon party!

- Surprise!

- It definitely is a surprise.

- Ooh, did it work?

Are you feeling better?

- Honestly, I still feel a little--

ah-choo!

Sick.

- But parties always make me feel better.

- Hey, doggies.

Your kibble snack is ready.

- Ooh, it'’s snack time!

- You guys go on without me.

Go enjoy your snack.

- Maybe full tummies will help us think

of a way to make Calvin feel better.

- Yeah.

[all barking]

- Ooh, snack time!

- Hi, Bowwow.

Calvin'’s not feeling well, so I'’m taking care of the dogs.

What'’s on the menu?

- The same thing that'’s always on the menu:

kibble!

- Sounds yummy.

how would you like to start the Bowwow Chow Snack Machine?

[Princess Pickles barks]

- Balloon rising.

Rapid swirl.

Shoe coming at you.

Ball drop.

Commencing umbrella sequence.

That'’s my favorite part.

Kibble for you.

Here comes Stuff'’s kibble.

Wow, that'’s a lot.

Kibble delivery complete.

- Bowwow, time to chow.

[all barking]

- [gasps]

- So, what else can we do to make Calvin feel better?

Hmm. - I got it.

- Ooh.

- Remember what Dr. Kristina said?

- Yes, I do.

She said, "Hi, Stuff.

I came as soon as I could."

- After that part.

She said Calvin should get plenty of sleep

so he'’ll feel better.

- Right.

Ooh, well, then we should sing him a lullaby

so he can fall asleep.

- Rock music is my favorite kind of music.

[guitar riff]

Let'’s go sing him a rock and roll lullaby.

- Great.

- Hello, Mutt & Stuff.

We are Marco and the Tail Waggers.

Guys, I didn'’t know how to make Calvin feel better,

and this whole time,

I'’ve been doing things that make me feel better.

- Oh, I get it.

Well, Marco, what do we do?

- I think I know exactly what to do.

[gentle music]



- Ooh. Hmm.

- Calvin, this time I thought

about what you need instead of what I need,

so kick back and get some rest.

♪ No doggy will bark

♪ No mouse will squeak

I'’m glad I'’m feeling better too, Zippy.

I'’d still be sick if it wasn'’t for you, Stuff,

and especially you, Marco.

Hey, that'’s what cousins are for.

- Mmm.

Today turned out to be a great day after all.

Let'’s celebrate with a doggy dance party.

So Marco came to help take care of the dogs.

Marco and the dogs wanted me to feel better,

but Marco didn'’t know how to help me.

Then he realized that sometimes

you need to think about what your pets need, too.

And your cousin.

After the nap, I felt better,

so we came out to play and had a big dance party.
