- Awesome.

Hi, I'm Calvin.

Welcome to "Mutt & Stuff."

Today is a special day, because Dude's graduating.

[dog barks]

That's right, Dude.

Today is your last day of school.

Dude's gonna use all the skills he learned at Mutt & Stuff

to teach puppies how to surf in Hawaii.

That's so rad and adorable.

Dude, you've been such an awesome student

and a great part of the pack.

We're sure gonna miss you, pal.

And we have a special surprise planned for Dude

at the end of the day.

It's a surf party.

[dog barking]

Huh? Oh, it's time to start school.

Thanks, Zippy.

I'll be right back, Dude.

Calling all dogs, time for school.

- Doo-dee-doo-doo.

- Oh, hey, Stuff.

- Oh, hey, Calvin.

Oh, I'm so excited to celebrate with Dude at the--

- Uh, shh. - Huh?

- Dude's inside.

- Surprise surf party.

- Me too.

- What did you say?

- I said me too.

- Whoa, Calvin, not so loud.

Dude might hear you talk about the surprise surf party.

Oops.

[chuckles]

That was loud.

- I love my silly students.

Okay, Stuff, let's surf on into school.

- Right. - Come on.

- [scatting surfer music]

- Come on, Zippy.

Good morning, everyone.

Today's a super-duper with a dog bone on top exciting day,

because Dude's graduating.

- All right, Dude.

High five. Wait, where's Dude?

- Hmm, where could he be?

He was just here.

- Oh, no.

If Dude's not here, then we won't be able to have fun

with him at the...

[whispers] Big surf party.

- Then we should find him.

Come on, guys, let's look around the school for dude.

- Okay.

- Hey, Grandma, can you check if Dude is in there

playing with the puppies?

[dog barking]

- That's okay. Thanks for checking.

[upbeat surfer music]

Hey, I hear surfer music.

I think the puppies are pretending to surf like Dude.

- Ugh. Dude, are you in here?

Whoo-hoo.

- Hey, Stuff, any luck finding Dude?

- Oh, not yet, Calvin, but I'm still looking.

Dude, where are you?

- You must be here somewhere.

- Wha? - Hmm?

- Oh, shh. Calvin, I think I hear Dude.

And he kind of sounds like a little girl.

- Come on. You've got to be here.

- Stuff, that is a little girl. - Wha?

- And she sounds like she's out front.

Come on. Let's go.

- Hi. I'm Calvin.

- And I'm Stuff, uh...Peep?

- Oh, hello.

I'm Annie the animal rescuer.

- Oh, so you rescue animals?

- Not just any animal, baby animals.

And right now, I'm looking for some lost baby chickens.

Peep, peep, peep, peep, peep.

- Huh? Baby chickens?

Here at Mutt & Stuff?

- Yes, indeed.

I'm on a baby chicken rescue mission.

- Hmm.

[bird chirping] - Ooh, hear that?

That's the sound of a baby chick.

And if it's chirping, it might mean it's cold.

They don't grow big feathers until they're about

four weeks old.

Until then, they just have these cute little, itty-bitty-witty,

fuzzy-wuzzy feathers.

Aww, hey, little guy, I found you.

Here, take a look.

- Ooh, hey, you're little, yellow, and fuzzy,

and I'm big, yellow, and fuzzy.

It's like I'm looking into a mirror,

a chicken mirror.

[laughter]

- Good job, Annie.

You found your baby chick.

So does that mean your rescue mission is over?

- No way.

Excuse me.

This little guy has little brothers and sisters.

They're lost somewhere.

And I will not rest until I rescue them all.

Here you go, little guy.

- Hey, Calvin, maybe Annie can use her rescuing skills

and we're trying to find him.

- A missing dog? That's my specialty.

Annie the animal rescuer is on the case.

- Awesome. - Awesome.

- Now, tell me about this Dude.

Is he a big dog, small dog, fuzzy dog,

slobbers a lot, a little, medium slobber?

I need all the facts to consider the paw-ssibilities.

- [laughs] Paw-ssibilities.

I get it, 'cause Dude's a dog,

and dogs have paws.

[laughs]

You're funny, Annie.

- Funny and ready to find baby chicks and one Dude dog.

- Hey, Davenport.

Davenport! - [babbling]

Oh, hey, there, Zoe.

- Why did the baby chick cross the road?

- Hmm, to get to the "mother" side.

I'm okay. - Meow too.

- Okay, class, meet our new friend,

Annie the animal rescuer.

[dogs barking]

- Hello, team.

Now, before we begin our search for dude,

there's one thing I must do.

[squeals] I must pet these cute doggies.

- [laughs]

- You're a golden retriever,

which means you love to swim.

You're like a little fishy-fishy.

And you're a wiener dog,

which means you run fast and jump high,

even though your little legs are teeny-tiny.

And you're a...

a big, fluffy, yellow hug machine named Stuff.

- [laughs]

Whoa, she's good.

- Okay, time to find Dude and the lost baby chicks.

First we must consider the paw-ssibilities.

- [laughs]

- What breed of dog is Dude?

- He's a... bearded collie sheepdog mix.

- Ahh, those dogs love playing outside.

- Oh, well, we have a playground outside.

Maybe he could be there.

- Good thinking, Calvin.

- Come on, let's go.

[dogs barking]

- Okay, dogs, use your noses and sniff around for Dude.

You know, dogs can smell times better than we can.

It's like their noses are cute little computers.

- You really know a lot about dogs, Annie.

Oh, Annie, are you okay?

Do have a cough?

- No, Stuff. I was making sheep sounds.

he probably likes to round up sheep.

- Oh, so Dude might come running if he hears sheep.

- Right. - [laughs]

- Oh, yeah. I "nose" what you mean.

- Oh, brother.

- Heh-heh, it's "knows" and "nose," two "knowses."

- Yeah.

[dog barks]

- He's not over here.

- And he's not over there.

- Oh, we got to find Dude.

I really want him to have fun at his surprise surf party.

- Stuff, don't give up.

We just got to keep looking and consider the paw-ssibilities.

- Oh. [laughs]

Nice one.

- If Dude isn't on the playground,

then he must have gone somewhere else.

- Hmm.

- But where?

- Yeah, but where?

- Yeah, but where?

- Oh, I'm gonna keep sniffing.

[laughs]

[sniffing]

Dude.

Dude.

Huh, I smell something.

Oh, I smell something.

Oh, look at that.

Hey, Calvin, Annie, come over here.

I think I found something.

Could these paw prints be Dude's?

- Hmm, it's hard to tell.

Here, let me use my Critter Transmitter.

This little gizmo really comes in handy

when I'm on a rescue mission.

- [chuckles] - Great.

- Critter Transmitter...

[transmitter beeping]

Is this the paw print of a sheepdog collie mix?

[transmitter beeping]

- Wooftastic.

Yes, it is a match, Annie.

Great. Thanks, Critter Transmitter.

- You're welcome, Annie.

- Ha, hooray!

- [laughs] Great, Annie.

Now that we found Dude's paw print, what's next?

- Well, we know that Dude was just here.

Oh, look.

There's more paw prints on the merry-go-round.

- Ooh.

- And based on their direction,

it looks like Dude was heading toward the school.

- Hey, Annie, what are those little prints?

- Sweet oodily poodle, those are baby chicken tracks.

- We found Dude's paw print and the baby chicken tracks.

Yahoo! Two for two.

- Come on, rescue buddies.

That's what I'm calling you guys.

Isn't it adorable?

- Yeah.

- We've got some cuties to rescue-ty.

[laughter]

[jazzy music]

- Hey, Davenport.

Davenport!

- [babbling] Oh, hey, Zoe.

- You looking for Dude?

- I sure am.

Yeah, but I--oh, oh, but you know what I found instead

is a big, fuzzy, blue mountain.

- Davenport, that's me. - Huh?

Wah! Wah! Ba-geebie!

- [laughs]

- I'm okay. - Meow too.

[dogs barking]

- Ahh, okay, Annie,

Dude's paw prints and the baby chick tracks

came back into Mutt & Stuff.

- Oh, ooh, so Dude and the baby chicks are inside, but where?

We were just in here this morning.

- Let's use more facts about Dude to help us.

- Oh, well, Dude has really shaggy fur.

- Ahh, the one thing I do know about shaggy dogs

is that they shed to keep cool, so that means we should--

- Look for his fur.

- Precisely, Stuff.

Who's a good little red rescue buddy?

- Ooh, ooh, ooh, I... - You are, Stuff.

- I'm a good little rescue buddy.

- Yes, you are. - I am. It's me.

- Yes, you are. - Hee-hee-hee-hee.

- Let's look around this school for Dude's fur.

- Great. Ha.

- Any fur here?

No. What about in the tunnel?

No.

Oh, what's this little hole?

It must be a mouse hole,

because it's so close to the floor.

- Hi. - Eeee!

- Oh, why does everyone get so scared when I say hi?

- I didn't scream because I was scared.

I screamed because you're so cute.

Eeee! - Huh?

- [laughs]

Oh, you think I'm cute?

Well, wait till you see this.

[funky music]

Hello.

- Aww, little sunglasses, so tiny, so protective.

- [laughs] Well, what about this?

Howdy, partner.

- Eeee!

What a fancy little hat.

- You want to see something really cute?

- Yes, yes, triple yes.

- Well, then you should pull that rope.

[laughs]

- Confetti. It's the cutest kind of paper.

It's so tiny and cute.

Just like you.

- [laughs] Thanks.

I like you.

Let's dance.

- Okay. - Okay.

- [squeals] - Whoo.

[upbeat music]

- Come on, everyone, let's keep helping Annie

and look for Dude's fur.

[light music]

[dog barking]

- What is it, Grumbles?

- Huh, Dude's fur.

And feathers?

- Little baby chicken feathers, Stuff.

- Ohh.

- Wait a second.

- What is it, Annie?

- Yeah, do you know where Dude is?

- Unfortunately, no.

The only thing I know is that I'm confused.

- Hmm.

- Did you say Dude was here at the start of school?

- Yeah, he was here this morning.

- Then he went outside to play. - Mm-hmm.

- Remember the paw prints we found?

- Oh, yeah, I found those.

- Then he obviously came back inside,

because we found his fur.

- Huh. - Hmm.

Something isn't adding up.

Sorry, guys.

I thought we'd find Dude by now.

And I still can't find the baby chicks.

This has never happened to me before.

I always find and rescue the animals I'm looking for.

- Oh, no.

What if we don't find Dude on his last day?

- Don't worry, Stuff.

We'll find him.

We just got to consider the paw-ssibilities, right, Annie?

- Yeah.

- Annie?

I think maybe I should have a nose-to-nose with Annie.

- Yeah, good idea.

- Hey, Annie. Having a rough day, huh?

- Calvin, I just don't get it.

I used everything I knew about what kind of dog Dude is,

but we still haven't found him.

- Well, you might know everything about

what type of dog Dude is.

Maybe it would help if you knew who he is, you know,

as a friend?

- As a friend?

You're right.

If I got to know Dude as a friend,

that would help me figure out where he could have gone.

But how can I get to know Dude if he's missing?

- I have an idea.

Follow me.

on our Paw Pad.

- That dog loves to boogie.

- Oh, this is from when I was learning how to juggle,

but I kept messing up.

Then Dude told me to keep trying.

Dude's so nice.

- We really love our buddy Dude.
