[barks]

- ♪ Mutt & Stuff, Mutt & Stuff ♪

- ♪ Bark along and put your paws up ♪

♪ Pets can't seem to get enough of ♪

♪ Calvin and his pups ♪

[cheerful music]

- Okay, Grumbles, all done.

[laughs] - [barks]

- Zippy, now I gotta measure you to see if you've grown any.

There we go.

Ooh, good, you're seven paws and two doggy noses tall.

Ah, well, that's everybody.

- [barks] - What--oh, you're right, Zippy.

I almost forgot Calvin.

Well, go get him, buddy! - [barks]

- [barks] - [barks]

- [barks]

[alarm blares]

♪ ♪

- [laughs]

♪ ♪

- Hi, I'm Calvin.

Welcome to Mutt & Stuff.

- Oh, Calvin, hop on up here and let me measure you.

- Oh, yeah, let's see how tall I've gotten.

Great idea, Stuff.

- Ooh, looks like you're one dog paw taller than last time.

- Oh, yeah, we've all grown, and I have a great way

to show you just how much. - Huh?

- It's class movie day!

- Oh, boy, I love movies!

- I put together a home movie of all the great times

we've had at Mutt & Stuff over the years.

- Well, that's gonna be a really long movie

'cause we've had so many great times.

- You betcha, Stuff.

Come on, lights, camera, memories!

- Yay! [giggles]

♪ ♪

- Great, now that everyone's ready,

we can watch the movie on the dog-a-tron.

- [barks] - [barks]

- Hey, it's our friends, Speedy and Peppy.

They came to watch the movie too.

Okay, Zippy, time to start the movie.

- [barks]

♪ ♪

- Hey, it's our school!

I remember that-- yeah, that's the day

we all waved. [laughs]

That's our playground where we play.

Ball pit. [chuckles]

So much fun.

Oh, I remember going on the roller coaster!

Yeah, that's when I yelled "whoo, yikes!"

Ooh, I remember that. Whoo.

- Choo-choo, coming through, through.

- I gotta be honest, I don't remember this part at all,

but it sure does look real.

- Choo-choo, I'm coming through, through!

- Wait, it is real! Who are you?

- Howdy, all, I'm Rupert Railroad

from the Right Now Railroad Company.

And we're building a railroad right now!

- You mean now?

- Like, right now? - That's right.

Take a look.

♪ ♪

- [exclaims] - Oh, no!

You're building a railroad through Mutt & Stuff.

- You bet your choo-choo I am!

- But you can't build a railroad through Mutt & Stuff.

- We're a school. This is where we play and learn.

- I'm sorry, but choo-choo,

this train is going through, though!

- [gasps] - Which means, you're going to

have to leave your school, school!

- Ahh, oh, no!

Will we have to leave Mutt & Stuff?

- [gasps] - [whines]

- [gasps]

♪ ♪

- Let's go inside Stuff's dog house

and figure out a plan to save our school.

♪ ♪

Okay, does anyone have any idea

on how to stop Rupert Railroad?

- [yips]

- Build a giant stop sign?

Hmm, interesting idea, Junior Shades.

- [barks] - Build a giant princess castle

to stop the train?

Well, keep the ideas coming.

[beeping]

Hey, Stuff, what are you typing on the Paw Pad?

- Oh, well, we need to rescue Mutt & Stuff,

so I called someone who's really good at rescuing.

- Hi, everyone! - It's Annie the animal rescuer.

- I got an urgent message from Stuff

on my Critter Transmitter. - Mm-hmm.

- "Annie, come quick! We need your help

"to rescue all the dogs and Melvin and Zoe

and Davenport and Noodles and Calvin"?

- Annie, we're so glad you're here.

A guy named Rupert Railroad is building a railroad

right through our school.

- Yeah, and we're gonna have to leave Mutt & Stuff.

- Oh, no!

Mutt & Stuff is the best place in the whole world!

- Can you help us stop him?

- Annie the animal rescuer is on the case.

- ♪ I've been working on this railroad ♪

♪ That runs right through Mutt & Stuff ♪

♪ I've been working on this r-- ♪

- Excuse me?

Hello, my name's Annie the animal rescuer.

Please stop building a railroad through Mutt & Stuff.

This school is a very special place.

- Let me think about that.

Um... No!

- Well, that went well.

- ♪ La di-di-di-di-di-di ♪

♪ ♪

- Well, how did it go? - Not well.

I told him not to build the railroad,

but he didn't listen.

- He didn't listen to what you said.

Maybe he'll listen to what you sing.

It's music time! - Yeah!

- When Rupert hears this song, I know he'll stop

building his railroad.

- Are you ready to rock this train?

- Yeah, and a one, two, three!

[upbeat music]

- ♪ Rupert, don't build a railroad in our school ♪

♪ ♪

♪ Rupert, don't build a railroad ♪

♪ It's not cool ♪

♪ ♪

♪ Rupert, our school is the very best ♪

♪ Rupert, give your railroad hammer a rest ♪

♪ ♪

- [grunts]

♪ ♪

This is really hard work.

♪ ♪

But listen to that song.

Wow, it's really perking me up!

♪ ♪

Hey, dogs, your song is really helping me work.

This choo-choo is coming through, through!

♪ ♪

- Oh, no, our song didn't work.

- You're right, Stuff.

Our song actually made Rupert Railroad work faster.

- We have to come up with a new plan,

or else we really will have to leave Mutt & Stuff.

- [gasps] - Oh!

- [whines]

♪ ♪

- Hey, Davenport.

Davenport! - [screams]

Oh, hey, Zoe.

- What's your favorite part of the train?

- Hmm, the cat-boose!

♪ ♪

[laughter]

I'm okay. - Meow too.

[bright music]

- ♪ Doggy, won't you bark? ♪

♪ Doggy, won't you bark your train horn? ♪

♪ Doggy, won't you bark? ♪

♪ Doggy won't you bark? ♪

- We gotta stop Rupert Railroad from building a train track

through Mutt & Stuff. - Yeah, but how?

Nothing we've done has worked.

- We'll think of something.

We just need to consider the paw-sibilities.

- Yeah, come on.

- Hey, Marty. - What?

Yeah, Sid? - If the dogs leave

Mutt & Stuff, should we go with them?

- Oh, I don't know.

It means we'll have to pack up our trunks.

- Oh. [chuckles]

I get it, trunks, because we're trees.

- But seriously, Sid... - What?

- I think we should stay. - Really?

- ♪ Eh, forget the farewell party ♪

♪ Let's... ♪

both: ♪ Stick together and show we're tough ♪

♪ We're not leaf-ing Mutt & Stuff ♪

- ♪ If we can... ♪

both: ♪ Stick together, stick together ♪

- Yeah! both: ♪ Stick together enough ♪

- I better go tell Grandma and the puppies

a railroad is coming through.

[train crossing bell dinging]

Oh, no, it sounds like the railroad is inside

the puppy playpen, come on!

- ♪ Puppy playtime! ♪

♪ ♪

- Ah, it's just the puppies playing with their toys.

- ♪ Puppy playtime! ♪

♪ ♪

- [barks]

- Oh, you're right, Grandma.

I better go see what Rupert's up to.

- ♪ Puppy playtime! ♪

- Choo-choo, this train is coming through, through!

But I need a break, and that is true, true.

♪ ♪

I'm exhausted.

Phew, phew.

- We've gotta figure out a way to keep Rupert

from finishing his railroad.

Got any ideas?

- [barks] - Mm, you're right, Zippy.

If Rupert doesn't have his hammer,

he can't finish the railroad.

Wait till you see this.

♪ ♪

- Who's there?

♪ ♪

Who's watching me?

♪ ♪

♪ ♪

What in torn train tickets is going on around here?

♪ ♪

Hey, I need that back!

♪ ♪

- [laughs] Nice work, Zippy!

Oh, now, when Rupert gets here, I'll tell him a joke

that's so funny, it'll knock him off his tracks!

He'll stop building that railroad for sure.

♪ ♪

Hey, Rupert, my man!

- Where'd Zippy go with my hammer?

- Rupert, I've got a great joke for you.

- I don't know about a joke.

I'm pretty much out of steam from working on my railroad.

- Aw, come on, just one little jokey-joke?

- Oh, okay, one joke.

- What do you call a train that wears sneakers?

♪ ♪

A shoe-shoe train!

[laughter]

- That's hilarious! - Yeah!

- Oh, Melvin, your joke has put some pep back in my step.

- Okay. - I'm ready to get back to work.

- What? - Gonna build more

railroad tracks right through Mutt & Stuff!

Whoo-whoo! - No, no, back to work?

That's not what I-- Eh, well, that didn't work

quite the way I thought it would.

♪ ♪

- Oh, no, Melvin's joke gave Rupert even more energy.

He's still building his railroad.

- Oh, I wish I could think of a way to stop him,

but I am all out of ideas.

- Me too, I'm just stuck. - Yeah.

- Stuck...

Hey, maybe we can get Rupert stuck too

with some sticky puppy dough.

It's time for arts and crafts!

- [laughs]

♪ ♪

- Okay, everyone, when Rupert steps in these trays

of sticky puppy dough, he'll get stuck.

- Yeah. - And so will his railroad.

- That's right, Stuff!

Now let's get these paws a smooshing!

- Yeah!

♪ ♪

- Great job, everyone.

When Rupert goes to attach his track,

he'll get a sticky surprise.

- That is foot-tastic! - Oh!

Here he comes now!

- ♪ Back to working on the railroad ♪

♪ Right through Mutt & Stuff ♪

Wait, how am I supposed to finish this railroad

without my trusty hammer?

[squish]

Oh, pull my brakes and make me screech!

My feet are stuck!

[grunting]

Ah, oh, oh, fiddle-tracks.

Hey, this stuff is sticky!

It's--It's-- Hey, since I don't

have my hammer, I can use the sticky puppy dough

to attach my tracks! [laughs]

Whoo, whoo!

There's no stopping this train now!

[laughs] Oh!

♪ ♪

- Oh, no, puppy dough is going to help him,

not stop him.

- We've tried every trick in our doghouse,

but nothing has worked.

- You haven't tried a mouse trick yet.

I'll drive him coo-coo with my confetti!

- [giggles] - That trick always works.

- Great idea, Noodles! You're right!

Go, Noodles!

♪ I've been puppy doughing on the railroad ♪

♪ All the livelong day ♪

- Hiya, Rupert. - [screams]

Oh, there's a mouse in Mutt & Stuff!

- My name's Noodles, and if you really wanna toot your horn,

you should pull that rope.

- Don't mind if I do.

- [laughs]

- Ah, this stuff is amazing!

Hey, I can use this confetti for my railroad opening party!

- Oh. - Noodles, you're a genius.

- [chuckles] - Look out, Mutt & Stuff!

There's a train a-coming through!

Chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo, chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo,

chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo... - Oh, no, I didn't stop Rupert.

Is this the end of Mutt & Stuff?

Will a train go right through our school?

Are Calvin, the doggies, and I going to have to leave?

♪ Bum, bum, bah! ♪

♪ ♪

- Hey, Davenport.

Davenport! - [screams]

Oh, hey, Zoe.

- Are we gonna leave Mutt & Stuff with the dogs?

- Well, yeah, we don't wanna get stuck

working on the tail-road!

♪ ♪

[laughter]

I'm okay. - Meow too.

- ♪ Almost done working on the railroad ♪

♪ All the livelong day ♪

- Well, I guess it's time to go. - [sighs]

I can't believe we have to leave Mutt & Stuff.

both: [whining]

- You know what? I'm gonna go ask Rupert

if we could at least watch the rest of our class movie.

- ♪ I am finishing this railroad that runs through Mutt & Stuff ♪

[chuckles]

- Um, Rupert Railroad?

Could we please finish watching our class movie?

You could join us too.

- Eh, chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo, I suppose I could

take a movie break with you, you.

- Great, calling all dogs!

It's movie time!

♪ ♪

Okay, guys, the movie's gonna start.

- Ooh.

- Oh, look, it's the puppy playpen.

- Ooh, I see Teeny and Tiny!

- Teeny and Tiny sure have grown...

And grown! - [laughs]

Aw, we've had so many good times here at Mutt & Stuff...

- And done so many amazing activities.

♪ ♪

- And played lots of fun games.

- [chuckles] - Go, Princess Pickles.

Shred that skateboard, Rocket.

- Remember when Zippy dunked against

the Harlem Globetrotters?

- Don't forget all the great places we've been.

- Yeah, like space, the ocean, the jungle,

an airplane, the circus, and a farm!

- And all the great friends we made along the way.

- [dolphin clicking]

- [oinks]

- [baaing]

♪ ♪

- [whinnies]

- And some of them are real party animals.

I had to rescue a bunch of them.

- [giggles] Yeah.

[peeping]

- Hey, look, it's Amara the weather dog...

And baker, and grocery store worker,

and traffic safety dog, and student.

- There's our favorite vet, Dr. Kristina.

She takes really good care of us.

- ♪ H.R. Pufnstuf ♪

- Oh, hey, remember when my Uncle Pufnstuf visited?

That was so cool.

- ♪ Can't do a little 'cause you do enough ♪

♪ ♪

- And every time we had a problem,

we had a nose to nose and solved it together.

♪ ♪

- [sniffs]

- 'Cause we're a pack that sticks together.

- [giggles] Yeah.

- [sobbing]

[splattering]

I think it's time for one of those nose to noses

right about now.

[sobs] This place is so special.

I'm stopping construction.

- Yeah! - What--Hooray!

- Hooray! - [barks]

[barking]

- Rupert, that's great news!

- Looks like I'll have to put

my itty-bitty baby animal train somewhere else.

- Did you say "itty-bitty"?

- Yes, it's a little, tiny train.

- And it's filled with baby animals?

- Indeed, really cute ones.

- [exclaims] But we love baby animals!

- And tiny trains! - Me too!

- Well, now we have no reason to leave Mutt & Stuff!

It's just baby animals on a tiny train.

- Yeah! - Yay!

- [squeals] - [exclaims]

- Hey, Rupert, if it's such a tiny train,

why did you build such big railroad tracks?

- Yeah.

♪ ♪

- No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

no, no, no, no, no, no, no!

These are the wrong size tracks!

They're huge!

I need itty-bitty train tracks.

[train crossing bell dinging]

Here comes the train.

I'll never be able to put down new tiny train tracks in time.

- Oh, it's okay, Rupert, we'll help you.

- Yeah. - You'd do that for me?

- Well, of course!

Everyone who comes to Mutt & Stuff

is part of the pack, including you, Rupert.

- Choo-choo, I just have to say thank you, you.

You guys are the best.

- Come on, guys, it's time to go build

a little itty-bitty baby animal railroad.

- Yeah!

♪ ♪

- Whoo-whee! [laughs]

We're done!

I'm happier than a dog with two tails.

- Yeah, and we finished just in time.

Look, here comes the itty-bitty baby animal train!

[train whistle blaring]

Here they come, here they come, here they come!

♪ ♪

- Aww!

[peeping]

Choo-choo!

I want to hug all of you, you.

- We did it!

Thanks for helping.

I'm real sorry I tried to make you leave your school.

- It's okay, Rupert.

You're part of the Mutt & Stuff pack now.

- I feel like kicking my heels up and celebrating.

- And we at Mutt & Stuff sure know how to celebrate--

with a railroad doggy dance party!

Come on, wag it like you mean it!

- Time for the confetti! Ah!

- Oh! - [laughs]
