Max's Sleepover!

You're going to have so much fun tonight, Max!

Just think,

your first-ever sleepover with your friends!

Yeah!

Winston and Morris are coming.

Remember, good hosts always make sure

their guests are happy and having a good time,

like I will with Louise.

She's coming over for a popcorn and makeover party.

[gasping]

Makeover?

Don't worry, Max.

You'll hardly notice us.

[knocking on door]

They're here!

We're here!

Me too!

[laughing]

Wow!

Looks like everyone's here.

Let's see... Louise?

You're going to be upstairs with Ruby.

Popcorn makeover party!

[laughing]

[laughing]

And Winston and Morris,

you're going to be camping out in the living room with Max.

This will be awesome!

And I'll be working in the basement

if anyone needs me!

Okay, Dad.

Have fun!

You okay, Morris?

I've never been to a sleepover before.

I'm a bit shy.

[wheels rolling]

[gasping]

And I don't like surprises.

Let's get this sleepover started.

Ready, set...

go!

Go, blue!

Go, green!

[gasping]

Hey!

Green! All right!

I win!

Your turn!

Uh, you go, Max.

I'll watch.

Okay!

What's wrong with Morris?

He's not having a good time.

Hmm.

Morris?

How about you say "Ready, set, go!"?

Okay!

Can I wave the flag, too?

Yeah!

[humming]

There!

[gasping]

I love it!

My turn!

Get ready to look beautiful!

Max wins.

[clapping]

Bye-bye, Rabbit Racers!

What's next?

Want to watch a movie?

Eat more snacks?

Arm wrestle?

You choose, Morris.

I guess a movie's fun.

How about "Super Bunny II"?

I haven't seen that.

Is it loud and scary and full of surprises?

Mm-hmm.

Well, how 'bout "Super Bunny I"?

Aw, that's for babies!

No, it's not.

We watched it before.

No surprises.

Okay!

Look out!

Behind you!

I like Super Bunny!

Yeah, me too.

Only... I wish there were more...

Monsters!

Yeah, that'd be awesome!

No, there!

Ah!

Oh, dear.

We didn't mean to startle you.

[Max]: Morris?

It's just Ruby and Louise.

I guess we do look a bit strange.

But that's the price of beauty.

Can we get back to the movie now?

Is it too scary?

No...

but maybe I don't want to do a sleepover anymore.

Well, I used to do half-sleepovers

before I did full ones.

It's when you only stay while you're having fun,

and you don't sleep over unless you really want to.

Do you want to?

It's up to you, Morris.

I really want to sleep over...

if there are no more big surprises.

[popping]

Ah!

Thanks for making us popcorn, Dad!

You're welcome!

You can't have a popcorn and makeover party

without popcorn.

That's for sure!

Uh-oh.

Sorry we startled you... again.

We were just making popcorn.

Want some?

Popcorn!

Enjoy the rest of your sleepover!

I'll try.

You're really good at pillow towers, Morris.

Especially at sleepovers!

Who needs a sleeping bag?

One for me!

And one for me.

Morris?

How about I give you a little more time

to think about it.

Okay.

Now, that's a healthy glow.

I think your glow is even glowier.

[giggling]

I like your poster, Ruby.

[gasping]

Have you heard their latest song,

"Funny Bunny"?

So what do you think?

Sleep over?

You know you want to.

It'll be fun.

Yeah.

We promise,

and no more...

[loud music playing]

surprises!

Funny Bunny! Funny Bunny!

Yeah, yeah!

Whoo-hoo!

[music stopping]

Uh-oh.

Sorry, Max.

We did it again, didn't we?

Don't worry. I know what to do.

When I was little

and got nervous sleeping over at Grandma's house,

she'd show me a happy photo,

and I'd feel all better,

and I know just the happy photo to help Morris.

Hey, look!

It's you, Max,

and his Red Rubber Elephant.

And Mr. Pickles!

[sighing] A happy time.

Feel better?

No!

I'll be right back!

Here! To sleep with.

Your Red Rubber Elephant?

Don't you need him, Max?

I have lots more toys.

Lots and lots!

Max always sleeps with a toy.

Me too!

So why didn't you bring Mr. Pickles?

I guess I thought you might think I was a baby.

Nah. I brought...

Tiger!

I don't really need it.

I just feel better knowing he's here.

So, have you made a decision?

How many sleeping bags do we need?

One for me!

And one for me!

And one for me.

All right!

Yay, Morris!

Three it is.

Let's make some room.

You're a great host, Max.

All your guests are happy.

'Scuse me?

Is there any more popcorn, Ruby?

[giggling]

Of course!

You can't have a popcorn and makeover party...

Or a sleepover...

Without popcorn!

Slugger Max!

Robot? Nuh-uh.

Red Rubber Elephant?

Nope.

Where is it?

Ah!

Not you, Red Lobster!

I can't find my bat or my ball.

[Lily]: They've got to be here somewhere.

Wait.

I think...

I found them!

Achoo!

And a dust bunny.

They were under my bed!

Uh-huh.

I lose stuff under my bed all the time.

You,

and you,

and...

We need them for our team.

Right! More players.

Come on, Lobster,

join our baseball team!

[claws clacking]

There's my little slugger, Max!

Hi, Lily! Ready to play T-ball?

Yes!

T-ball?

Aren't we playing baseball?

It's a lot like baseball,

only you hit the ball off this tee.

Here, I'll show you.

This looks like a good spot.

We set the tee down like this,

then rest the ball on top of it...

and you're ready to take a swing!

Right, Slugger?

Right. Thanks, Dad.

Any time.

Have fun, you two!

-Thanks. -We will!

These are our bases.

We'll tag them with our feet as we run!

Okay.

Lobster, you can catch the ball for us.

Out there!

Way out there!

The game of horseshoes

doesn't look that difficult, Louise.

It's harder than it looks, Ruby,

but I'm glad you want to learn.

I'll have

my "Learn a New Sport" Bunny Scout badge

in no time!

And if you like it,

maybe you can join me and Valerie

on the horseshoe team at school.

Yes!

Whoosh!

Ten points!

[giggling]

Okay, that's enough horsing around.

First, we need to go over the rules.

We each get two horseshoes,

which means two tries to get the horseshoe

onto the stake.

You pitch it,

or throw it from here.

Yes!

Batter up!

It's my turn.

Okay.

Player Lily is up to bat!

She swings, and...

Misses...

and she misses again, and...

[Max]: Whoa!

I'll get it!

Oh, no!

No, Lobster!

Max! Careful!

And it's a home run for Lily!

Did you see my home run?

No, sorry.

His fault.

I know you two are having fun,

but I'm trying to earn a new Bunny Scout badge here.

I'm teaching her.

So could you please move your game

a little further out into the yard?

Okay, Ruby.

Much further.

Thanks.

My turn!

This is going to be a home run!

Batter, batter, batter, swing!

Oops. Wrong way.

So? You hit it.

Run, Max!

[gasping]

Huh?

Was that...

Max's baseball.

It knocked your horseshoe.

He knocked it out of play.

Don't worry, I'll talk to them.

Yes!

Hi, Ruby.

Your ball ruined Louise's sh*t.

It knocked her horseshoe into the garden.

So that's where our ball went!

Yes.

Would you mind moving further out?

I'm trying to earn a new badge, remember?

Okay, Ruby.

Nice throw, Louise.

Thanks.

It's all in the wrist.

Your turn!

[gasping]

Oh, too far.

You just need more practice.

Not everyone can be as naturally athletic as me.

Whee... Whoa!

Ugh!

[giggling]

Oops.

At least you're great at horseshoes.

Whoo!

Ha-ha-ha-ha!

[hitting ball]

Froggie, that's our ball!

Yay, Lobster!

Good catch.

Good catch, Mom!

Wrong way, Max!

I got it. I got it!

Whoa!

Maybe not.

That lobster is a really good player!

Hi!

Hi, Valerie.

Nice to see you.

Hi!

What're you doing here?

I wondered

how your horseshoe lesson was going.

Oh, it's so much fun.

Louise is a great teacher.

I am, aren't I?

I hope you'll join the horseshoe team this year,

Ruby.

Me too.

I can't wait to try out!

Oh, good,

because our Bunny Scout Leader

is on her way over here

to check out your skills.

Really?

Time to earn that badge, Ruby!

Your turn!

Let's show Bunny Scout Leader

what you can do.

[Ruby]: Oh, no!

I didn't mean to do that.

That could be hard to explain

to Bunny Scout Leader.

Hmm, yes,

and she is a stickler for the rules of the game.

I don't think tree branches count.

Maybe we can get it down?

[grunting]

Let me try.

[grunting]

It's no use, Valerie.

We aren't tall enough.

Oh, well... it could be worse.

At least Bunny Scout Leader isn't...

Here!

She's here!

Oh, no, look!

The horseshoe!

We need to get it down now.

But how?

Slugger Max up to bat!

No, no, Lobster!

Whoa! Look!

Whoa.

I see.

Good Lobster.

It's a home run!

No way!

Huh?

Max's ball knocked down our horseshoe!

Ten points for Max.

That was some hit, wasn't it?

Yes, it sure was.

Go, Max, go!

Way to go, Slugger!

It's a home run!

[cheering]

Yeah!

You got our horseshoe down for us, Max,

with your batting skills.

Yes, you saved our game!

I did?

Yes, and now,

Ruby can show off her new horseshoe-pitching skills.

What do you think?

I can try.

Here goes!

You did it, Ruby!

Nicely done!

Well done, Ruby.

You've clearly learned how to play a new sport today.

My "Learn a New Sport" Bunny Scout badge!

Thank you!

You're welcome.

You did it, Ruby!

Congratulations.

Yes, now you can try out for the team.

My team?

[giggling]

No, Max.

Now I can try out

for the Bunny Scout horseshoe team,

but your team is pretty great, too.

That's because it has...

Slugger Max!

And Lobster!

[laughing]

Let's play ball!

[clacking]
