[engines roaring]

♪ ♪

- This is Commander Megan

calling Blaze and the Monster Machines.

Do you read me?

- Loud and clear, Commander Megan.

- Controls ready!

- All systems go!

- Excellent.

Thruster full speed ahead.

[thrilling music]

[engines roaring]

♪ ♪

Whoo-hoo!

♪ ♪

- This is our friend Commander Megan.

She's an astronaut.

- [growls] Being an astronaut

must be amazing! - Yeah!

You get to fly a rocket ship!

- And go on missions into outer space.

- That's right, and this is

my most important mission yet.

This satellite's battery stopped working,

so my mission is to bring a new battery

and give it power again.

- Ooh!

That is important mission.

- Come on, let's help Commander Megan

find that satellite.

Look carefully.

When you see the satellite,

say, "Satellite."

Satellite! There it is!

- All right.

[thrilling music]

Great work. Now I've just got to get

the new battery into place.

Mission control, stand by for space walk.

♪ ♪

Hup.

[grunts]

Hee-yah!

♪ ♪

Whoo!

♪ ♪

Almost there.

♪ ♪

[device beeps]

The battery is in, and the satellite is on.

[satellite thrumming]

♪ ♪

Mission accomplished.

♪ ♪

[all cheering]

- She did it! - She fixed the satellite!

- Way to go, Commander Megan!

- You're a hero! - [laughs]

Thanks, Monster Machines.

- And now that your mission's over,

you can head on home.

- Yup, time to get back

to good old planet Earth and--

[computer dinging]

- Hang on. I'm picking up something

on my radar.

A lot of somethings headed this way.

- [gasps] Asteroids!

- Increasing to max thrust.

♪ ♪

[engines roaring]

♪ ♪

- Gaskets!

That asteroid hit the ship's thruster.

[alarms beeping]

- Whoa.

- Now it's broken.

- Ah, my ship can't fly

with a broken thruster.

I'll have to land.

[dramatic music]

♪ ♪

- [gasps] Commander Megan!

- Are you okay?

- Whew. I'm all right, everyone.

I was able to land here,

on the dwarf planet Pluto.

- Pluto? Oh, man!

That's really far from Earth.

Like, um...

- billion kilometers.

- Phew-whee!

Commander Megan can't get home from there

with a broken ship.

- Then we'll have to go into outer space

and rescue her.

- But how will we do that, Blaze?

- We'll transform ourselves

into Monster Machine

space robots!

[all cheering]

- To make space robots, first let's design

a big robot body.

- Yeah!

[thrilling music]

To design the robot body,

say, "Robot body!"

all: Robot body!

- Now let's give our robot

something to help with take-offs and landings:

Delta wings!

♪ ♪

- To design the delta wings,

say, "Delta wings!"

all: Delta wings!

[electronic beeping]

- Now we just need something

to blast us through space really fast!

- Well, shucks, how about

we give the robot thrusters?

♪ ♪

- To design the thrusters, say, "Thrusters!"

all: Thrusters!

♪ ♪

- All right!

Time to become space robots!

[engines revving]

♪ ♪

- Yippee! - [cheering]

- [growls] - Yeah!

- Whoo-hoo!

- [cheering]

♪ ♪

[all cheering]

- Looking good, Robot Blaze.

- Thanks, Commander Megan.

Now hang on. Your space robot friends

are on their way!

- Yeah!

[rousing music]

- Countdown to blast-off in three seconds.

- Count down with us.

Start at three.

all: Three, two, one.

Blast off!

♪ ♪

- ♪ We're engineered for awesome ♪

♪ Got all the best technology ♪

♪ Processing lots of data ♪

♪ ♪

♪ With our computer circuitry ♪

- ♪ So let's get excited ♪

- ♪ Come on! ♪

- ♪ We're prepared for fun ♪

♪ And to get the job done ♪

- ♪ Robot power ♪

♪ ♪

♪ Robot, yeah ♪

♪ You know we got robot power ♪

♪ ♪

♪ You know we've got robot power ♪

- ♪ Yeah! ♪

- ♪ Robot power ♪

- ♪ Yeah! ♪

- ♪ Robot power ♪

- Wing flaps: deployed.

Fuel t*nk: full.

Thing-a-ma-bobber...

thing-a-ma-bobbing!

- Hoo-hoo!

Sounds like my rocket ship

is ready for launch!

- It sure is, Astronaut Crusher, sir.

- Good! Now, since I'm

the brave astronaut, I'll be flying the rocket

into outer space.

- Yay!

- And your job, Pickle, is to stay here on Earth

and help with blast-off. - Ooh!

How do I do that? - [scoffs]

It's so easy.

To make the rocket blast off, all you have to say is,

"Three, two, one, blast-off."

Got it? - Got it.

Wait, what do I say?

- "Three, two, one, blast-off."

- Oh, now I remember.

Just remind me one more time.

- It's "three, two, one,

blast-off!" - Right.

I won't forget it this time.

Beginning countdown.

Three...two...

one...

marshmallows!

- Marshmallows?

Whoa!

[hollering]

[goofy music]

♪ ♪

[babbling] Marshmallows...

- Houston, we have a marshmallow.

[chomps]

Mm-mm-mm!

[all cheering]

[thrilling music]

- Check it out. We're here by planet Earth.

And to rescue Commander Megan,

we need to get to Pluto,

way over here.

- Hopping hubcaps.

Pluto sure is far.

- You know what we need?

A shortcut.

- A shortcut in outer space?

I don't think we're ever gonna find something like that.

even if we look, and look, and look--

Oh, look!

A shortcut!

- Whoa! - Ooh.

- I'll be!

- That's a wormhole--

a tunnel through space-time.

- Sounds like a shortcut to me.

- Come on, everyone.

This way.

[engines roaring]

♪ ♪

[all cheering, babbling]

- Whee!

Wormhole feel radical and fun!

[engines revving]

[all cheering]

[electronic warbling]

- Huh, I wonder what that sound could be?

- Eh, it's probably nothing.

[electronic warbling]

Or, it's the wormhole closing behind us!

[electronic warbling, crashing]

- Oh, no! It's collapsing!

- [growls]

We've gotta fly faster!

- Come on, help us increase our speed to five.

Count to five with us.

both: One... two...

three... four...

five!

[all cheering]

♪ ♪

- Yee-haw!

We're going faster now.

- But not fast enough!

The collapsing wormhole keeps getting closer.

- The space robots need

to fly even faster.

Let's help them accelerate to a speed of ten.

- Count to ten with us.

Start at five.

both: Five, six,

seven, eight,

nine, ten!

[all cheering]

♪ ♪

- Hey, look! There's the way out.

- But if we're gonna make it in time,

we gotta hurry!

- Quick, let's help our friends speed up

all the way to !

- Count to with us.

Start at ten.

♪ ♪

[all cheering]

♪ ♪

- We made it!

- And check out how far we went:

We have to get to Commander Megan.

And with that wormhole, we made it

all the way to here!

- That was some shortcut!

- But we can't stop now.

Commander Megan is counting on us.

- Yeah! - That's right!

- Space robot...

all: Power!

[peppy music]

- ♪ Planets are spinning round and round ♪

♪ Orbiting around the sun ♪

♪ ♪

♪ Mercury's fast and Venus is hot ♪

♪ Earth's the one that's full of life ♪

- ♪ Whoa-whoa-whoa ♪

- ♪ Mars is red ♪

♪ Jupiter's biggest ♪

♪ And Saturn's got rings made of ice ♪

- ♪ Whoa-whoa-whoa ♪

- ♪ Uranus, Neptune are big gas balls ♪

♪ The dwarf planet Pluto is really small ♪

♪ Planets are spinning round and round ♪

♪ Orbiting around ♪

♪ Orbiting around the Sun ♪

- Rocket wings: shiny!

Rocket nose: pointy.

Rocket jazz...

[mellow jazz music playing]

Smooth.

- [clears throat] All right, Pickle.

I'm ready to go into outer space.

- [laughing] Ooh!

This is so exciting!

- Now, to make the ship blast off...

[grunts] Do you remember what to say?

- Yep. I remember.

Remember what? - Remember that you have

to say, "Three, two, one,

blast-off." - Oh, that.

Of course I remember that.

Beginning countdown.

[mechanical whirring]

Three, two, one...

sandwiches!

- Sandwiches?

[hollering]

[engine splutters]

[babbling]

[goofy music]

[babbling] Yummy...

- One small sandwich for man,

one giant lunch for mankind!

[triumphant music]

[chomps] Mm!

[laughs]

[all cheering]

[rousing music]

♪ ♪

- Whoa! Look at that!

- It's the planet Saturn.

all: Wow!

- Check out them big ol' rings.

- Saturn have eight rings,

each made of thousands of ringlets.

[guffaws] Zeg!

[console beeping]

- Listen. We're getting a call.

It's Commander Megan!

- Commander Megan to space robots.

How's your mission coming?

- So far, so good.

We're approaching the planet Saturn now.

- Saturn, huh? Well, be careful.

One of Saturn's moons

has powerful ice volcanoes.

- Ice volcanoes?

Thanks for the warning.

- Huh, I've never heard of ice volcanoes before.

I mean, what even is an ice volcano?

Whoa, whoa, whoa!

I'm trapped in the ice!

Whoa!

- Whoa!

Now we're stuck, too!

- Oh!

- What in tarnation?

- Whoa!

Oh, no!

♪ ♪

- Blaze! Watch out!

- Whoa!

[babbling]

♪ ♪

Phew, that was close.

[all babbling]

[goofy music]

- Blaze!

- Gaskets! Our friends

are all trapped in ice. - We've gotta help them.

- They're headed for Saturn's rings.

Let's go!

[spirited music]

♪ ♪

- Whoa! Saturn's rings are full of ice.

- Blaze!

Over here!

- That sounds like Stripes. - We have to figure out

which piece he's trapped inside

so we can break him out. - Stripes got trapped

in a piece of ice that's shaped like this.

- Which piece of ice has the same shape?

That one! Yeah!

Hang on, Stripes!

[engines roaring]

- Yeah!

Thanks, buddy. - Blaze!

- We're over here!

- Hey, that's Watts and Gabby!

- Watts and Gabby got stuck in ice

that looks like this.

- Which piece of ice

has the same shape?

That one! Right!

Hi-yah!

[triumphant music]

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- Thanks, Blaze. - Hey!

- Over here, y'all!

- That sounds like Starla. - And Darington.

- Darington and Starla got trapped together

in a piece that looks like this.

- Which piece of ice

has the same shape?

That one! Yeah!

Yah!

- Whoo-hoo! - Thanks, partner.

- Now there's just one friend left to rescue.

- Zeg!

- Don't worry, Zeg, we'll find you.

[rousing music]

- Zeg's stuck in a piece of ice shaped like this.

- Which piece of ice

has the same shape?

That one! Yeah!

[exclaims]

- Yippee!

Blaze save Zeg!

- [gasping] You're welcome, buddy.

[all cheering]

- Back together again. - That's right!

Nothing can stop us.

- 'Cause we've got space robot...

all: Power!

[engines roaring]

- All right, Pickle, this time

you're gonna say, "Three, two, one,

blast off."

Right? - Right.

- You sure? - Absolutely positive.

- You're not gonna forget? - Not a chance.

Beginning countdown.

[mechanical whirring]

Three, two,

one...

bananas!

- Bananas?

[hollering]

[goofy music]

♪ ♪

- [babbling]

- Space: the final fruit-ere.

♪ ♪

[laughs]

[all babbling, cheering]

- Look! There it is!

Pluto!

- That's where Commander Megan landed with her broken ship.

- But Zeg not see her.

- Me neither. - Help us look

for Commander Megan.

When you see Commander Megan's spaceship,

say, "Spaceship."

[intrepid music]

♪ ♪

Spaceship!

- And there's Commander Megan! - Friends!

You made it!

Uh-oh. But look out behind you.

- [gasps] Asteroids!

Headed this way!

[all screaming]

- Oh, no! - This bad.

- We've gotta stop them giant space rocks.

But how?

- I know what'll stop them.

Deploying laser blasters!

[blasters humming]

- Phew-whee!

- I didn't know we had lasers.

- These will blast those asteroid to bits.

- And we'd better hurry-- three of them

are almost here!

- Come on.

We need to program our lasers

to blast them.

Time to get coding!

- Check it out: this instruction

will tell the robots to blast their lasers,

and this repeat code will tell them

how many times to do it.

For three asteroids, we need

to do three blasts.

Which of these is the number three?

Yeah, that's it!

So our code is, "Go,

laser blast, repeat three times,

stop."

[electronic chirp]

- We've got the code.

- Go!

Laser blast...

both: One!

Two!

Three!

- And stop!

- Whoo-hoo! - Got them!

- Take that, asteroids.

- Uh, Blaze?

We could use some help over here.

- We've got seven more asteroids

headed this way!

- Hurry! Let's write a code

to blast seven times.

Which of these is the number seven?

Yeah! That's it!

Now we've got our code.

[electronic beeping]

- Go!

Laser blast...

all: One! Two!

Three! Four!

Five! Six!

Seven!

- And stop!

[all cheering]

- Yippee-ki-yay! - Nice work, everyone.

- Looks like we got rid of all the asteroids.

- That true...

except for those asteroids over there!

[all screaming]

- Hopping hubcaps!

- That's a lot of asteroids!

- You can do it, robots.

You just need a code to blast times!

all: times?

- Come on!

We've gotta help the robots do blasts.

Which of these is the number ?

! Yeah!

We've got the code.

[electronic beeping]

- Go! Laser blast...

all: !

[triumphant music]

all: Yeah!

[all cheering]

♪ ♪

- Whoo-hoo!

♪ ♪

- Whee! - Whoo-ee!

♪ ♪

- And stop!

[all cheering]

- We stopped all the asteroids!

- And now we can help Commander Megan.

Come on.

[all cheering]

- Whoo-hoo!

♪ ♪

- Way to go, space robots.

I knew you could do it. - We're just glad

you're okay, Commander Megan.

- Now come on, everyone.

- Let's fix that ship and get Commander Megan

back to planet Earth!

- Yeah! - Let's do it!

♪ ♪

[laser crackling]

[electricity crackling]

♪ ♪

[engine roaring]

- [gasps] My ship!

It's fixed!

[all cheering]

- Now, let's help Commander Megan

fly home extra fast, and blast off

with blazing speed.

[triumphant music]

♪ ♪

- Ready for lift-off, Blaze.

- To blast off with blazing speed,

say, "Let's blaze!"

all: Let's blaze!

[engines roaring]

[all cheering]

♪ ♪

- Next stop: Home!
