- Ladies and gentle trucks,

are you ready to egg hunt?

[cheers and applause]

Then hold on to your baskets,

because eggs have been hidden all across Axle City.

[upbeat music]

Eggs here.

Eggs there.

Eggs everywhere.

And the winner will be the first monster machine to find

this many eggs.

What number is that?

That's right, folks.

It's the -egg challenge!

[fireworks booming]

Now let's meet our egg hunters.

First, he's big, he's blue,

he does things he shouldn't do.

It's Crusher.

- That's right. It's me, Crusher!

Whee!

[laughs]

Ahh! Ahh!

- And now, he's got speed, he's got flair,

and he always plays fair.

It's Blaze.

- Whoo-hoo!

[cheers and applause]

Thank you. Thanks, everyone.

- Hey, Blaze, do you really think we can find eggs?

- Well, it won't be easy,

but so long as we work together,

there's nothing we can't do.

- Yeah!

- Pfft! Yeah, right.

Everyone knows I'm gonna be the one who finds eggs

and wins the...uh, wait.

What do we get if we win?

- Well, for the winner of the -egg challenge,

it's the biggest, most delicious prize ever,

a chocolate trophy!

[cheers and applause]

- Mmm. - A chocolate trophy?

Let's go for it. - Yeah.

- I've got to win that trophy.

Then all the yummy chocolate will be just for me, me, me.

[laughs]

- Egg hunters to the starting line.

[engines revving]

On your mark...

[engines revving]

Get set...

Go!

[tires squealing]

[upbeat music]

- ♪ Start it up, hit the gas ♪

♪ It's time for us to roll

♪ Let's drive super fast

♪ Ready, set, let's go

- [laughs]

Nice going, Blaze.

- Hey, I wonder how many eggs we found so far.

- Hmm, it looks like a lot,

and we can figure out how many with this, a calculator.

A calculator is a tool that helps you solve math problems.

Blaze found eggs at the restaurant,

so let's push the number ,

then add more that we found at the carnival,

so we press plus ,

plus the we found at the garage.

Where's the number ?

There, yeah.

Now, to see how many that is altogether,

we push equals.

We found eggs.

- Whoa, that's a great start.

But to win the chocolate trophy,

we've got to find a lot more, until we have .

- Hey, I know.

Let's check inside that factory.

- Yeah, let's go look.

[engine revving]

- Whoa. - Whoa-ho-ho.

Wow.

- Check out all the skateboards and kites

and stuffed animals.

- This must be a toy factory.

- There's got to be eggs hidden in a place like this.

- Come on. Help us look.

When you see eggs, says "eggs."

Eggs!

Yeah, there's some.

[engine revving]

Whoo-hoo!

[tires screeching]

- All right, we just got eggs.

- Come on. Let's keep looking for even more.

- When you see eggs, say "eggs."

[engine revving]

Yeah-ha!

- Nice going, Blaze.

We got eggs that time.

- But there could be even more.

Let's try looking over there.

When you see eggs, say "eggs."

Eggs! Yeah!

more are up there.

Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- We did it.

We found all the eggs in the toy factory.

- Now let's add 'em up.

- Yeah, we'll use our calculator.

We had eggs,

then we found more,

plus , plus more,

plus more after that.

Now we press equals to see how many that is altogether.

We've got eggs.

- Whoa, that's a lot.

But if we want that chocolate trophy,

we've got to find even more.

- Yeah, we need eggs to win the -egg challenge.

- Come on, then.

Let's get crackin'.

Whoo-hoo! - Yeah-heh-heh-ay!

- ♪ Eggs, I'm gonna find you

Hmm, no eggs in these flowers.

Ohh, no eggs in these flowers.

No eggs in--ahh!

- Well, hello, Crusher.

- Pickle, why are you dressed like a flower?

- Because it's spring!

That's when all the flowers bloom,

and flowers smell so nice.

[sniffs]

Mmm, this one smells like ice cream.

- Ice cream?

- Ooh, this one smells like a cupcake.

- A cupcake?

- Hmm, I wonder what this one smells like.

- Wh--hang on. Move aside, Pickle.

I'm smelling this flower.

[chuckles]

Oh, I bet it's gonna smell like bubblegum--

oh, or lollipops, or...

[sniffing]

Stinky cheese?

Ick, ahh, augh, ick.

- Heads-up, got another one.

- All right, lookin' good.

[musical car horn honking]

Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- Look, Blaze, a construction site.

- Hmm, I wonder if we could find eggs in a place like this.

Let's check.

When you see eggs, say "eggs."

Eggs! Yeah!

And they're all rolling into that big pile.

Now we just have to put them in our basket so we can--

- Hang on, Blaze.

Look. Those cranes are scooping up the eggs by mistake.

- Hang on, Blaze.

- Hubcaps.

We've got to hurry and try to get them back.

[tires squealing]

[alarm blaring]

- Uh-oh, the crane's about to drop its eggs.

And if the eggs hit the ground, they'll break.

- Then we've got to catch the eggs

with something soft and fluffy before they hit the ground.

- I know. We can use one of those.

There's a pillow and a pile of bricks.

- Which is softer, a pillow or bricks?

[electronic chime]

A pillow, yeah.

We can use that to catch the eggs.

[alarm blaring]

Whoo.

[tires squealing]

Whoo. - Whoo-hoo!

We caught 'em all.

- Let's hurry before the eggs fall from that crane too.

- To catch the eggs, we could use a bag of marshmallows

or a log.

What's softer, marshmallows or a log?

[electronic chime]

Marshmallows, right.

[crane whirring]

[tires squealing]

Whoo-hoo!

- Yeah!

Nice catch, Blaze.

- And look, there's only one crane left.

- And it's about to drop those eggs,

so we've got to hurry.

- Hmm, over there is a frying pan and a teddy bear.

Which is softer, a frying pan or a teddy bear?

[electronic chime]

A teddy bear, yeah.

[alarm blaring]

[engine revving]

[tires screeching]

Whoo-hoo!

- All right! We caught all the eggs.

- Now let's add 'em up with our calculator.

- We had eggs,

plus the we caught with a pillow,

plus that we caught with marshmallows,

plus we caught with the teddy bear.

Now we press the equals button

to see how many that is altogether.

Where's the equals button?

[electronic chime]

There! Right.

Altogether, that equals !

- Wow, eggs.

Just a few more and we'll have ,

enough to win the chocolate trophy.

- Come on, Blaze.

You find 'em, and I'll add 'em up.

- Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

[upbeat music]

- [scoffs] Pickle, can't you see I'm looking for something?

- Hmm, let me guess.

You're looking...to smell the flowers with me.

- No, Pickle.

I'm looking for eggs.

- [sniffs]

Oh, well, this flower doesn't smell like eggs.

But it does smell like pizza.

- Pizza?

- Ooh, you've got to try this one, Crusher.

It smells like popcorn.

- Out of my way, Pickle.

I'm smelling this next flower.

- Hoo-hoo, it's probably gonna smell like pretzels

or cookies or...

[sniffs]

- A banana peel.

- Banana peel?

Ick, ew.

Ick!

- Oh, hey, Crusher.

- Look like you found a lot ofeggs.

Just like us.

- That's right. I found so many eggs.

Let's see, I've got... um...uh...

- Here, Crusher.

Why don't you borrow our calculator?

- A calculator?

Huh, let me see that.

I found this many over there, plus that many over here

plus this, plus that, oh, plus a few more equals...

[calculator beeping]

Ha-ha-ha!

- Nice going, Crusher.

That's a lot of eggs.

- Looks like I only need more egg to have .

♪ Just need more egg

♪ To get the chocolate trophy

- Hey, A.J., let's add up how many eggs we've found.

- Well, we had eggs, and then we found more,

so together that equals .

- Whoa, we've got eggs, just like Crusher.

That means whoever finds the last egg wins

and gets the chocolate trophy.

- Come on.

Help us find that last egg.

Look carefully.

If you see the last egg, say "egg."

Egg! Yeah!

It's on top of that fountain in the park.

- We've got to hurry and get that egg.

A.J., give me some speed.

[tires screeching]

- [gasps] I've got to find that last egg.

I've just got to find that last egg before...

[musical car horn honking]

Blaze!

[engine revving]

- Oh, no.

I can't let him find the last egg before me.

I need a really big cheat to stop him,

a big cheat like...

a giant robot gopher.

- Ahh-ha-ha-ha.

- Too bad Blaze can't "gopher" that egg now.

[laughs] "Gopher" that egg.

[loud rumbling]

- Whoa, what was that?

[loud rumbling]

- Ha-ha-ha.

- It's a giant robot gopher.

It's throwing humongous vegetables at us.

Oh! Ahh!

- [laughs]

- Hubcaps.

We need some way to get past that gopher.

'Cause if we don't, Crusher's gonna get

that last egg.

- Ah-ha.

[loud rumbling]

- Whoa, what was that?

[loud rumbling]

- Ha-ha-ha.

- It's a giant robot gopher.

It's throwing humongous vegetables at us.

Oh! Ahh!

- [laughs]

- Hubcaps.

We need some way to get past that gopher.

'Cause if we don't, Crusher's gonna get

that last egg.

- Ah-ha.

Wha! - Whoa-ho.

- Hey, I've got an idea.

Let's make a machine with strong metal blades

that can chop those giant veggies to pieces.

We need power shears.

- Yeah, let's get building.

First, we need a powerful motor.

To make the motor, say "motor."

Motor!

Next, we need a gearbox.

It transfers energy from the motor to the blades.

To make the gearbox, say "gearbox."

Gearbox!

Now for the most important part,

the sharp metal blades.

To make metal blades, say "metal blades."

Metal blades!

Oh, yeah!

I'm a power shear monster machine!

- All right!

- Hop in, A.J.

We've got some chopping to do.

[engine revving]

[loud rumble]

- [chittering]

Ha-ha-ha. Ahh.

- Look out, Blaze.

That robot gopher is throwing giant onions.

- Let's count to see how many onions we need to chop.

Count with me.

One, two, three, four.

- Activating power shears, four chops.

both: One, two, three, four.

- Yeah-eh!

- Way to chop those onions.

[tires squealing]

- [chittering]

[tires squealing]

Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha.

- Hubcaps. There's the gopher again.

- And this time he's trying to stop us with giant potatoes.

- Ah-ha-ha-ha.

- Count the potatoes with me.

One, two,

three, four, five.

- Five chops coming up.

both: One, two, three,

four, five.

- Yeah-eh! - All right!

- [chittering]

[engine revving]

Aha. - Oh, man.

The gopher's got his biggest veggies yet,

giant carrots.

- Count the carrots with me.

One, two,

three, four,

five, six.

- It's power shears time.

both: One, two, three,

four, five, six.

- Whoo-hoo!

- Wow.

- Au revoir, gopher. - [sighs]

- Way to go, Blaze.

- And look,

the th egg is just up ahead.

- Ohh, I'm never gonna find that th...

[gasps] Egg!

There it is!

The th egg!

[laughs] I finally found it.

- Uh-oh, but Crusher's gonna try and get it before us.

- To get that last egg before Crusher,

we've got to go super fast.

Time to use blazing speed.

To give me blazing speed,

say "let's blaze."

both: Let's blaze!

- Whoa! Whoo! - Whoa!

[engine revving]

- The th egg, and it's all for me.

[musical car horn honking]

Ahh!

Ehh...ehh...

- Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- Ladies and gentle trucks,

the winners of the -egg challenge,

Blaze and A.J.

- Oh, man.

Congratulations, Blaze.

That sure was egg-citing. [laughs]

- [laughs] Yeah, you were really egg-cellent.

[laughter]

- And for finding eggs,

here it is, their prize,

a chocolate trophy!

[cheers and applause]

- Here you go, Blaze.

- Mmm-mmm.

- Now, that's a tasty trophy.

- [sobbing]

I wanted to win the chocolate trophy.

[sobbing]

- Here, Crusher. You can have a piece.

- [sniffs] Really?

You're gonna share with me?

- Sure, we are.

- After all, you did a great job finding eggs too.

- Yeah, I guess I kind of did, huh?

Mmm-mmm.

[laughs]

Chocoriffic!

- Hey, A.J., why don't we share

the chocolate trophy with everyone?

- Yeah!

Hey, everyone, who wants chocolate?

[cheers and applause]

[upbeat rock music]



- All right!

- [chittering]

Ha-ha-ha-ha.



[cheers and applause]

- [munching]

Mmm-mmm-mmm. - What a day, huh, Crusher?

Nothing but good friends,

tasty treats, and the sweet smell of flowers.

[sniffs]

Mmm, this one smells like spaghetti.

[sniffs] And this one smells like French fries.

But I think this last flower

is gonna be the best-smelling flower yet.

- Oh, no, no, no.

Sorry, Pickle, but I'm smelling this last flower.

[sniffs] And it smells just like...

a smelly shoe?
