it goes all the way around the planet?

It's the Race Around the Earth!

Now, let's meet our racers.

He's loud. He's blue. He loves competing.

That's why he does so much cheating!

It's Crusher!

- Whoo! [laughs]

Whoo-hoo! Hooray for me!

- And racing against Crusher,

he's tough, he's red,

he's hard to b*at,

and his best friend's in the driver's seat.

It's Blaze!

- Whoo-hoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- Hey, Crusher, are you as excited as we are

to race all the way around the Earth?

- Meh, a race around the Earth

sounds easy for someone as awesome as me.

I'll just vroom around the forest,

and noom over the mountains,

and zoom past the-- [stammering]

Aah! [mumbling]

- But that's not all, folks!

The first Monster Machine to go around the Earth

and make it back to the finish line

will win the world's biggest trophy!

[cheers and applause]

- Whoa!

Do you think we can win it,Blaze?

- You bet we can, A.J.

'Cause when we're a team, there's nothing we can't do.

That is what I call a race,

but remember, folks,

this is a race all the way around the Earth.

To win, our racers need to cross an ocean,

get through a snowy forest,

and make it over super tall mountains,

so buckle up, folks,

and let's get back to the racing action!

[laughs]

I'm doing it! I'm racing around the Earth!

That giant trophy's gonna be all mine

once I get across the...

ocean!

[sad music]

[whistle blows] [bell rings]

- Ahoy, Crusher!

- Pickle?

- Captain Pickle at your service.

I figured you couldn't drive on the ocean,

so I got a sail boat and-- - Yeah, yeah.

Move aside, Pickle.

I'm sailing us across the ocean.

Now, which of these ropes makes the sail go up?

- Maybe it's this one.

- Pickle, that's not a sail. That's a sock!

- Then maybe this rope makes the sail go up.

- That's not a sail either. That's a spoon!

- Silly me. It must be this rope.

- Wait, that's not a sail. That's a...

pizza?

- Oh, wait. Now I remember.

This makes the sail go up.

Whee!

- [groans]

[musical car horn honking]

Oh, no!

It's Blaze and A.J.!

[groans]

I can't let them get across the ocean before me.

I've got to stop 'em with a really big cheat.

Something like...

a cannonball plastic blaster fish!

[laughs]

[suspenseful music]

- Blaze, watch out! - Whoa, whoa!

- Hubcaps!

Crusher made some kind of blaster fish

to try and stop us.

- Glub, glub, glub, glub.

- Uh-oh.

We need to find some way to get across the ocean

and get past those cannonballs.

- Hey, I've got an idea.

Let's create a machine that can help us.

- Yeah, we can use mechanical engineering.

Mechanical engineering is when you design a new machine

to solve a problem.

- To solve our blaster fish problem,

we need to design a machine

that can go fast across the water

like a speedboat,

but we also need to break apart those cannonballs,

so let's give our machine something really strong

like a jackhammer.

We just designed the world's first

Monster Machine jackhammer speedboat.

- Oh, yeah!

- Look, it's the blaster fish! - Glub!

- Time to test our machine.

The blaster fish just blasted two cannonballs,

- Get ready, Blaze.

Two cannonballs headed this way,

and here come two more!

Four! Yeah!

- We've almost made it across the ocean.

- But that blaster fish isn't giving up.

It just blasted one cannonball.

- And four more!

Five! Right.

- Whoo-hoo!

- [gargling]

[rock music]

- Whoo-hoo-hoo!

Yeah-ha! - We made it across the ocean.

- Now let's put the pedal to the metal and win this race.

- Blaze and A.J.... both: Around the Earth!

Can you believe it?

Blaze and A.J. made it across the ocean,

but remember, this is a race all the way around the Earth.

To win, they still need to cross a snowy forest

and get past super tall mountains!

[shivers]

All this snow's so cold and slippery.

[honking]

- Then it's a good thing I brought a snow plow!

- Snow plow?

- That's right!

No more slipping and sliding with this baby.

- Huh. All right.

Move over, Pickle. I'm driving.

So which of these buttons makes the snow plow move?

- Hmm, I forget. Maybe it's this one?

- [grunting] Pah!

[spits] That's a tennis ball button!

- Whoopsie. Better try this button.

- Phew, argh! Oh!

That's a stinky flower button.

- Ah!

So then this must be the button.

- Phoo! Eck!

Yuck.

Pickle, that's a pacifier button.

- [chuckles] Silly me.

We need a key to make the snow plow go!

[peppy music]

[musical car horn honking]

- Oh, no! Not again!

Ooh, if Blaze gets through the snowy forest,

he might win the Race Around the Earth!

- And then he and A.J. would get that big trophy.

How nice for them.

[polar bears snoring]

- Well, that's not gonna happen now,

because I just found the perfect cheat to stop 'em!

[blows horn]

Yoo-hoo! Wake up, polar bears!

[polar bears yawning]

There's a big red truck coming that you can chase!

[laughs]

[polar bears muttering]

[rock music]

- Whoa!

Aah!

Sheesh.

All this snow sure is cold and slippery...

[polar bears grunting]

And full of polar bears?

- Oh, man, how are we gonna get past polar bears

in all the slippery snow?

- Hey, I know.

We can invent a machine to help us.

- Yeah, we'll use mechanical engineering.

- Let's design a machine that has tracks like a snowmobile,

so it can go fast through the snow without slipping,

but let's also give our machine

a way to get past those polar bears.

So let's give it a spring

like a pogo stick!

That way, we can bounce over the bears.

Oh-ho, yeah!

We just created the first ever

Monster Machine pogo snowmobile!

- Yeah-ha-ha!

[engine revs]

[polar bears grunting] - Look!

Three polar bears straight ahead!

- That means we need to jump three times to get over them.

I climbed to the top of a super tall mountain!

- Hiya, Crusher!

- Aah!Pickle?

Wait, what are you doing at the top of this mountain?

- Silly Crusher. This is just a rock.

Those are the super tall mountains!

[bird caws] - [moans]

Those mountains are too big for me to climb over.

- Hmm. That's true.

So I guess we should probably take my helicopter.

- A helicopter? Pickle, that's perfect!

[laughs] Move aside.

I'm gonna fly over those mountains and win this race.

Now, uh, which one of these switches

makes the helicopter fly?

- Hmm.

I think maybe it's that first one.

[country music]

- [crowing]

- Aah! That's not a flying switch.

It's a chicken switch! - [bawking]

- Well, then it's probably the next one.

- [grunting]

- [ribbiting] - Aah!

Pickle! That's a frog switch!

- Oh, yay!

We better try the last switch then.

[elegant music]

- [babbling]

- Whoo-hoo! It's a ballerina switch!

Oh, now I remember!

To fly, we just push this button.

[exciting music]

- Huh? Oh, no.

It's Blaze!

Oh, I don't get it.

I've been cheating all around the Earth,

but nothing stops that guy.

- Well, look at the bright side, Crusher.

At least we don't have to worry about those volcanos.

- Volcanos?

- Yeah, some of these mountains are full of hot lava.

Lucky for us, they're not erupting.

- [laughs] Not yet they're not,

but let's see what happens after I use my lava-rama ray!

[zapping]

[suspenseful music]

[chuckling]

- Oh, no! Crusher's lava-rama ray

is making those volcanos blast out hot lava.

- That's a big problem.

Lucky for us,

we know how to invent machines to solve any problem.

- That's right!

We'll use mechanical engineering.

- Let's design a machine

that has the power to fly through the air like a jet,

but we also need the power to cool off the lava

from those erupting volcanos.

So let's give our machine water blasters!

Yeah-ha!

We just designed the world's first

Monster Machine water blaster jet.

[rock music]

The water cooled the lava, and the volcano stopped erupting.
