- [laughs] Hey, we're glad you're here.

A.J. and I are going for a drive with our buddy, Zeg.

- [laughs] And Zeg has big surprise.

- Gaskets!

It looks like a race with dinosaurs.

- Wow!

- Hello, dinosaurs.

And welcome to the biggest race in prehistory.

It's the Dino Derby!

[cheering]

The competition is gonna be fierce

because every dinosaur in the Dino Derby

races with a teammate.

We've got teams of stegosauruses,

ankylosauruses,

tyrannosauruses.

And the first team to cross the finish line

wins the dinosaur trophy!

[roaring]

- Wow!

- That dinosaur trophy looks amazing.

- [giggling] Zeg so excited to race in Dino Derby.

- That's great, Zeg. Who's your teammate gonna be?

- [laughs] Teammate? - Yeah.

To race in the Dino Derby, you need a teammate. Remember?

- Uh-oh. Zeg forget that part.

Zeg not have teammate. Ahh!

Now Zeg not be in race.

- Hey, I've got an idea, Zeg.

What if I race with you in the Dino Derby?

- Blaze Zeg's teammate?

- Yeah. We can build the parts

to make Blaze a dinosaur just like you.

- Come on. Let's go for it.

First, let's give me horns like a triceratops.

To give me horns say, "Horns."

Horns!

Great.

Now let's give me armored plates.

Like an ankylosaurus.

To give me armored plates say, "Armored plates."

Armored plates!

Last, let's add a spiked like a stegosaurus.

To give me a spiked tail say, "Spiked tail."

Spiked tail!

Oh, yeah! I'm a dinosaur monster machine!

- Whoa. - [gasps] Blaze, you dinosaur.

- Now, come on dinosaur team,

let's get to the starting line.

both: Dino team, roar!

- [laughs] Look at me.

I'm Dinosaur Crusher. [roars]

Out of my way, stegosauruses.

[honks horn] Move aside, T-Rexes.

- [grumbling]

- [honking horn] - Oh, hey, Crusher.

I didn't realize you were racing in the Dino Derby, too.

- You know it.

I'm gonna race and I'm gonna win.

- [roars] And I'm Dino Pickle,

His teammate.

Ooh! This is so exciting!

- Dinosaur teams, on your marks,

[engines revving] get set, go!

♪ T-rex and triceratops ♪

- Zeg!

- ♪ Gonna pull out all of the stops ♪

- Yeah!

Hey, Crusher. Do you want to know

what my favorite thing about being a dinosaur is?

- Meh, not really. - It's my horn.

Horns protect dinosaurs from all kinds of dangerous things.

- Dangerous things? Like what?

- Stuff like predators,

and falling rocks, and pizza.

- Pizza? That does make any sense.

Dinosaurs don't have to protect themselves from--

[groans]

[musical car horn honking]

- Whoo-hoo!

- Huh? It's Blaze and Zeg.

I can't let them get ahead of me.

I've gotta stop 'em.

Aha! I think I just found the perfect cheat.

A cheat that's right out of the Stone Age.

[laughs]

- Look out, dinosaur team! - Gaskets!

Crusher blocked the tunnel with those rocks.

- It okay. Zeg smash rocks.

Zeg smash!

Aw! Rocks not smash.

- It's okay, Zeg. There has to be someplace we can smash

to make this wall fall down.

- Yeah. And to find the right spot

we can use coordinates.

- Coordinates? - Coordinates are two numbers

that tell you exactly where something is.

- To use coordinates, we need a grid with lines

that go up and down and side to side.

Now we need two numbers.

Those are our coordinates.

- Our coordinates are ,.

The first number tells us

to count over two rocks starting from here.

Count to two with us.

all: One, two.

- Great. Now, the second number is four.

That tells us to count up four rocks.

Count with us.

all: One, two, three, four.

- So, coordinates say we smash that rock

to make wall fall down.

- Yeah. Come on, teammate.

both: Let's smash!

- Whoo-hoo!

- Way to use coordinates, everyone.

- Oh, look. Zeg see another one.

- Let's use coordinates to figure out

where we should smash this time.

The coordinates are three, two.

So first, we count over three.

- The second number is two, so we count up two.

- [laughs] It smashing time.

that's great about dinosaurs.

Did you know that some of them have armored plates?

- Oh, yeah? What do they need those for?

- To keep safe.

Dinosaurs have to protect themselves

from things like sharp teeth,

and bony claws, and mushy bananas.

- Mushy bananas?

Dinosaurs don't need to worry about--

Mushy bananas!

Ugh, ah.

both: Dino team, roar!

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- Racing together fun!

- [moaning] - Whoa, check out

that giant flower.

- Huh, I've never seen a flower like this before.

- That because flower only grow in dinosaur jungle.

It Blasting Flower.

both: Blasting Flower?

- [moans]

[screams]

- Whoa, the blast from that flower launched us super far.

[roaring in distance]

- Look, Zeg see more dinosaur teams.

- Lug nuts. They're really far ahead.

- Ooh! Zeg to have idea how we catch up

with blast from Blasting Flower.

- That's a great idea, Zeg. Let's look.

- Remember, the flower that opens

is the one that's gonna blast.

Which flower's opening?

- [moaning]

- The yellow one. Right! - Here we...

all: Go! - Whoo-hoo!

Look, we're passing the Brontosaurus team.

- [laughs]

Yay. Let's do that again.

- [moaning] - Hey, check it out.

There are more Blasting Flowers over there.

- The blue one. Yeah. Let's...

all: Blast!

- We're passing the Stegosaurus team.

- [chattering]

- All right!

- Now there's only one dinosaur team left to pass.

The Tyrannosauruses.

- Good thing Zeg see more Blasting Flowers.

- Look carefully. Which flower's opening?

- [moaning]

- The purple one. Yeah.

- [moaning, screams]

- Yeah!

- [laughs] Uh-oh!

- Whoo-hoo! - We did it.

- Zeg, Blaze, and AJ make good team.

- That's right.

When we work together, there's nothing we can't do.

all: Dino team, roar!

- [laughs] I can't wait to get to the finish line

and win that dinosaur trophy.

Eh--Pickle, what are you doing?

- Oh, you know.

Just practicing using my tail.

- Your tail? - Oh, yeah.

Dinosaurs uses their tail to stay protected

from dangerous things like other dinosaurs,

and crocodiles, and pants.

- Pants? No way.

I'm sure dinosaurs don't need to worry about--

Pants!

[musical car horn honking]

Oh, no. That sounded like--

Blaze and Zeg!

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- Oh, it's not fair.

I wanna win the Dino Derby!

- Whoa. Hang on, dinosaur team.

- What do you think that rumbling sound is?

- Ooh, Zeg know.

That sound of ground breaking.

[rumbling]

[all screaming]

- Hubcaps. We landed in some kind of underground cave.

- [laughs] It looks like your team's

in a "hole" lot of trouble. [laughs]

Get it? 'Cause you're in a hole? [laughs]

- Aw, team not win race if team stuck down here.

- Hey, don't worry, Zeg.

We'll find a way out of here.

- [laughs] [roars]

- Ooh, look! Truckadactyl flying out of cave!

- Gaskets. That means there must be

more Truckadactyls living in these cave.

And if we can find them, they can fly us out of here.

- Oh, Zeg know how to find more.

Zeg use coordinates.

- Yeah! Visor, show us coordinates

to find a Truckadactyl. [beeping]

The coordinates are three, four.

We start with the number three.

- [laughs] - All right!

another Truckadactyl to fly me out of the cave.

- [squawking]

- [squawks] - There he is.

- Hey, Truckadactyl, could you give me a ride?

- [squawks]

- [squawks]

- Now, just need ride for Blaze.

- Come on, help me find one last Truckadactyl.

The coordinates are four, six.

- [squawks] - Hey, Truckadactyl!

- [squawks]

- Dinosaur team, look.

That's where the finish line is.

- That mean we almost at end of Dino Derby.

- Yeah. And if we hurry,

we can still win this race.

- Hello, dinos!

Bump Bumperman here at the finish line of the Dino Derby,

where everyone's waiting to find out

who will win the dinosaur trophy.

- [roars]

[horn honking]

Hang on, folks. It sounds like

our first team is heading for the finish.

It's... - Me, Crusher!

- Oh, and his teammate, Dino Pickle. [roars]

- Out of my way, Pickle.

That dinosaur trophy's all for me.

Me, me, me! [laughs]

[musical car horn honking] Oh, no. It can't be.

Not Blaze and Zeg!

- Wow. Those guys sure do make a great Dino team.

- I can't let them b*at me now.

I need one last cheat.

Something like--like this! [laughs]

I hope Blaze and Zeg aren't dino-sore losers.

[laughs]

- The dinosaur gate! It's closing.

- Uh-oh. That fast.

- The only we're going to make it

before that gate closes is to go super-fast.

- Time to use dinosaur blazing speed.

- [laughs]

- Aw, thanks, buddy.

- Congratulations, Dino team. And now, here it is.

Your prize. The dinosaur trophy.

- Whoa, I've never seen a trophy do that before.

- [laughs] It looks like it's dancing.

- [laughs]

- Come on all, you dinosaurs,

let's get dancing!
