We're zooming down this snowy mountain!

- Yeah! Blaze is skiing.

And I'm snowboarding!

- We always have fun in the snow.

What about you?

Do you like having fun in the snow?

Great!

- Come on! Race you to the bottom!

- Yeah! - Whoo-hoo!

- Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

- Here we are, Crusher.

All set for our first day of skiing.

- Eee!

- Now let's see.

We could go down this nice easy hill.

Or we could go down this hard hill

with big rocks and jumps!

- Well, since this is our first time skiing,

I say let's do...the hard one!

[giggles]

- The hard one?

Gee, I don't know, Crusher.

- Uh-oh.

[upbeat music]

[both screaming]

- Whoa!

Ah!

- Whoa! - Ah!

- Excuse us!

- Watch it!

- Coming through!

- Good news, Crusher!

We're almost at the bottom.

- Phew. Finally.

- Yup, the bottom of that giant ski jump!

- Giant ski jump?

- [screaming]

- Hang on, A.J.

[both screaming] - Do you hear that?

- It's Crusher and Pickle!

- Gaskets!

They're flying away!

[both screaming]

- Phew.

- Pretty lucky we landed on this chairlift.

- [groans] And now we're stuck!

Way up high!

All alone!

- No, you're not alone, Crusher!

You're stuck with me!

- Help!

- Poor Crusher and Pickle!

Someone's gotta get them down from there!

- We can do it, A.J.

We've just gotta get to that chairlift

and save our friends!

- Yeah!

- Snow rescue...

So what do you say?

Who's hungry for a tickling taco?

- Tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle!

- [laughs] No, Pickle.

Oh, no, stop!

I don't want a tickling taco.

- Okay then.

How 'bout a mud muffin?

- Ugh. No!

Pickle, I just want a regular snack.

Like...

this salami!

- Gee, Crusher. [both laugh]

I had no idea you liked stinky salami!

- Stinky salami?

Ugh.

[sighs]

[upbeat rock music]

- Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- Yeah!

[laughter]

- Hang on, Blaze.

Did you hear that?

- Yeah.

That sounded like...

[laughter]

both: Bighorns!

[Bighorns laughing]

- Whoa! - [laughs]

- Lug nuts!

To save Crusher and Pickle,

we've gotta find some way

to get past these bumping Bighorns!

- But this ice is super slippery!

How are we gonna steer past them?

- Hey, I know!

To get past the Bighorns, we're gonna need more friction!

- Yeah!

Friction is a force that happens when two things

rub together!

Blaze's skis and the ice are both really smooth.

So they slide over each other really easily.

There's not much friction.

But what if instead of skis, we had a snowcat?

Snowcats have tracks that are rough and bumpy,

so when they move over the smooth ice,

it's harder to slip and slide.

There's more friction!

[upbeat music]

- Yeah! Come on!

Let's make the parts to turn me into a snowcat!

First, let's build the tracks

to create friction on the ice.

To make the tracks, say "Tracks!"

Tracks!

Now we just need sprockets to make the tracks turn.

To make the sprockets, say "Sprockets!"

Sprockets!

Oh, yeah!

I'm a Snowcat Monster Machine!

- All right!

Now we can drive on the ice 'cause we've got...

both: Friction!

[engine revs]

[laughter]

- Help us look out for Bighorns

so I can steer past 'em!

If you see a Bighorn, say "Bighorn!"

[tracks clacking]

Bighorn!

- Ah! [laughs]

Huh?

Uh-oh, ah!

[sighs]

- Whoo-hoo! - Way to steer past 'em!

- Keep looking.

There are still more Bighorns out there!

- If you see another Bighorn, say "Bighorn!"

[tracks clacking]

Bighorn!

- [laughing]

- Whoo-hoo!

- Whoa, oh, oh!

- All right!

There's just one Bighorn left!

- Help us keep a lookout for it!

When you see the last Bighorn, shout "Bighorn!"

[tracks clacking]

both: Bighorn!

- [laughs]

Huh?

[screams]

[groans]

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- Okay, then maybe you'll like this...

windy waffle!

- [shivers]

Pickle!

What about an ordinary snack?

Like a donut?

- A donut!

[laughs] Why didn't you say so?

I've got a donut right here!

- [laughs]

- Yep, one fresh delicious dancing donut!

- Dancing donut? - Hi!

Whoa!

That's a big lake!

- Yeah.

To save Crusher and Pickle,

we're gonna need a boat that can get us

to the other side fast!

- Yeah, the water can have choppy waves

that slow boats down.

There's too much friction!

So we need a hovercraft!

Hovercrafts glide on air above the water!

The air is smooth, so there's less friction!

And hovercrafts can move really fast!

[motor revs]

- Come on!

Let's get building!

First, let's build the part that lifts the hovercraft

above the water, the skirt!

To make the skirt, say "Skirt."

Skirt!

Now we just need a fan that can push our hovercraft

forward really fast!

To make the fan, say "Fan."

Fan!

All right!

I'm a Hovercraft Monster Machine!

[air hissing] [fan whirring]

- Yeah!

♪ ♪

All right!

[penguins laughing]

- Hey, look! [penguins laughing]

- There are three baby penguins playing on that ice!

- Gaskets!

But the ice! It's breaking apart!

- And now the baby penguins are floating away!

[penguins crying]

- We've gotta use our hovercraft

to find those baby penguins and save 'em!

- We're coming, penguins!

[penguin cries]

Listen!

That sounds like a baby penguin!

- Help us figure out how to steer our hovercraft

so we can save them!

The first baby penguin is here.

To get to him, we could steer our hovercraft like this.

Up.

Left.

Down.

Will that get us to the penguin?

No!

Let's try again.

What if we go up,

left, up?

Will that get us to the penguin?

Yeah!

Let's do it!

Whoo-hoo!

[penguin laughs]

All right, we gotcha, penguin!

[penguin cries]

- [gasps] That sounds like another baby penguin.

- This penguin is way over there.

To get to her,

should we go left,

up, left?

Yes!

That's the way!

- Oh, yeah!

- [laughs]

- Way to go, Hovercraft Blaze!

Now there's just one baby penguin left!

[penguin cries]

I hear her!

- To save this last penguin,

should we go right,

down, right?

No.

Let's try a different way.

What if we go like this...

right, up, right?

Will that get us to the penguin?

Yeah!

[musical car horn honking]

- Whoo-hoo!

- Ha-ha!

We did it, Blaze!

We rescued all the baby penguins!

[penguins chirping] - And look, penguins,

over there!

It's your parents!

[penguins chirping]

[cheering]

- Whoo-hoo! [penguins cheering]

[penguins chirping] - Aw.

The penguins are so happy to be back together again!

- Now, come on, A.J.

Let's get moving!

- Yeah, we've gotta save Crusher and Pickle!

- Snow rescue... both: Go!

[penguins chirping]

[whimsical music]

- [sobbing]

- Ah, the fresh mountain air.

Doesn't it just make you wanna have a snack?

- Oh, no!

No way, Pickle!

I don't want any more of those snacks!

- Are you sure?

- Pinch, pinch!

Pinchy, pinch, pinch!

- No, I don't want a pinching pretzel!

- Well, then how 'bout a confetti carrot?

[party horn blares] Ta-da!

- Ugh! No, Pickle.

I don't want a confetti carrot either.

- But gee, Crusher,

the only thing I have left is this sandwich.

- A sandwich? Huh.

Well, I don't see what could be so bad about that.

- Oh, yeah.

And if you like sandwiches,

then you're gonna love a silly sandwich.

- Silly sandwich?

Ah!

[cries]

Somebody get me down from here!

- [gasps]

It's Crusher and Pickle!

- Help!

- You're getting carried off

into those super tall mountains!

- Then to save 'em,

we need a vehicle that can fly!

We need a snow rescue helicopter!

[upbeat rock music]

First, let's make the rotor blades.

They let the helicopter fly and steer through the air!

To make the rotor blades, say "Rotor blades!"

Rotor blades!

Now we just need a rescue rope

so we can pull our friends out of danger.

To make the rescue rope, say "Rescue rope."

Rescue rope!

Oh, yeah!

I'm a Snow Rescue Helicopter Monster Machine!

Whoo-hoo-hoo! - Yeah!

♪ ♪

[thunder rumbles]

Careful, Blaze!

Those look like storm clouds!

- Gaskets!

It's an ice storm!

Whoa!

Ah!

- Phew, that was close!

- To save Pickle and Crusher,

we've gotta find some way to get past this ice storm!

- Hey, I've got an idea.

What if we chop through those giant icicles?

- Yeah, we can chop 'em with these--

our helicopter rotor blades.

[upbeat music]

- Get ready, Blaze.

Three icicles heading this way!

- Help me use my rotor blades to chop 'em.

Count to three with us.

[blades whirring] both: One.

Two.

Three!

- Yeah! - It worked!

- Whoo-hoo!

Hubcaps!

Four more icicles!

- Let's use our rotor blades to chop 'em.

Count to four with us.

Both: One. [blades whirring]

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- We're almost past the ice storm.

- But that cloud just launched the most icicles yet!

Six icicles!

- Help me chop 'em. Count to six!

[blades whirring] both: One.

Five.

Six!

- Snow rescue... both: Go!

- Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

[whimsical music]

[laughter]

- Oh, no. Look, Pickle!

It's polar bears!

In a hot tub!

[polar bears laughing]

[ski lift powers down]

- Ah, don't worry, Crusher.

Those polar bears are way down there,

and we're all the way up here.

- Yeah, you're probably right.

I mean, it's not like we're about to fall or anything.

[laughs]

[suspenseful music]

[both screaming]

- We've gotta save Crusher and Pickle before they fall.

- Then it's time for helicopter blazing speed.

[upbeat rock music]

To give me blazing speed say, "Let's blaze!"

both: Let's blaze!

- Whoo! Yeah!

Whoo!

- Ahh! Whoa!

[helicopter whirrs]

- Whoo-hoo!

[both screaming]

[polar bears exclaim]

- Hang on, you two.

We're getting you outta here.

[polar bears gargle]

[mugs clink]

[helicopter whirrs]

- Whoo-hoo-hoo!

Ha ha!

- We did it! - Whoo-hoo!

- Hooray! - You saved us!

- [gasps] And look where we are!

Back on the ski hill.

- And you know what that means.

both: We can go skiing again!

- Whee! - Whoo-hoo!

What if this time we start on the easy hill?
