♪ Get ready to race ♪

♪ One, two, three, let's blaze ♪

♪ So buckle your seat belt, we're gonna scream and yell ♪

♪ When Blaze goes saving the day ♪

♪ Blaze, Blaze, Blaze ♪

♪ Gimme, gimme, gimme some speed ♪

♪ Blaze and the Monster Machines ♪

♪ Go, go ♪

♪ Blaze and the Monster Machines ♪

♪ Yeah ♪

♪ Blaze and the Monster Machines ♪

♪ Yeah, let's blaze ♪

[energized rock music]

♪ ♪

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- [sniffs]

Mm.

- What is it, Blaze?

- I don't know, but something smells yummy.

- Hey, look over there.

- Come on, everybody. - This way.

- All those Monster Machines are carrying

hot, delicious pizzas.

- Mm, I love pizza.

- Yeah, me too.

- What about you?

Do you like pizza?

[guitar riff] All right!

- Come on, let's see where they're going

with all that pizza!

[tires squeal]

♪ ♪

Wow. - Whoa.

[trumpet fanfare]

It looks like some kind of race.

[cheers and applause]

- Hello, everybody.

And welcome to the world's biggest and only

pizza delivery race!

both: Pizza delivery race?

- To win, racers will speed through a jungle

and deliver pizzas to hungry monkeys.

[monkey chatter]

Then, they'll zoom through the snow

and deliver pizzas to penguins!

[penguin squawks]

And finally, they'll race to the finish line

for one last delivery--

a pizza for the world's hungriest elephant!

[elephant trumpets]

It's...

The Great Pizza Race!

[cheers and applause]

Racers, get your pizzas!

[together] Whoo-hoo!

[cheers and applause]

- Hey I've got an idea, A.J.

Why don't we join the race too?

- Us? In the Great Pizza Race?

Let's do it.

- Come on, let's grab some pizza

and get to the starting line.

[engine roars]

♪ ♪

- [giggles] Boy, oh, boy.

These racers sure look fast.

- Fast? [scoffs]

None of these racers can deliver pizza faster than me.

- Wow.

You heard it here, folks.

A confident Crusher is sure that he can

deliver pizzas faster than anyone.

Including Blaze.

- Blaze?

[musical car horn honking] Yeah!

- Heya, Crusher.

- Good luck in the pizza race.

- [sighs]

- Get ready.

Countdown to start the Great Pizza Race in...

eight seconds!

Count down with me.

Start at eight!

Go!

[tires squeal]

♪ Everybody loves a pizza ♪

♪ It's a piece of pepperoni, with extra cheese ♪

♪ Sausage or ham and pineapple if you please ♪

♪ A big veggie would hit the spot ♪

♪ We got so many toppings, fresh and hot ♪

♪ Pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza ♪

♪ Oh, oh, oh ♪

♪ A whole pie, or by the slice ♪

♪ Pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza ♪

♪ Oh, oh, oh ♪

♪ I'll pick the cheese, spare the Kn*fe ♪

♪ All right ♪

♪ We could eat a piece together ♪

♪ Melt your heart with all that mozzarella ♪

♪ Everybody loves a pizza ♪

♪ Pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza ♪

- Whoo-hoo. - Ho-ho.

- Pickle here,

coming to you live from the jungle

where hungry monkeys are waiting excitedly

for their pizza. - [giggles]

[monkey chatter]

- Pizza delivery!

[laughs]

- [laughs] Look.

Here comes our first racer.

It's Crusher.

He's climbing the ladder.

He's at the treehouse. [doorbell rings]

He's ringing the doorbell.

- Here you go.

[monkey chatter]

- He's got it!

Can you believe it, folks?

Crusher is our first racer to bring pizza to the monkeys.

- [laughs] That's right, Pickle.

I'm in first place.

- Tell us, Crusher, what's your secret to delivering pizza?

Is it speed? Determination?

Coconuts?

- Coconuts?

[playful tones]

[musical car horn honking]

- Hold that thought, Crusher.

'Cause look who's coming up right behind you.

[laughs] It's Blaze.

- Whoo-hoo!

- [groans] Oh...

I can't let Blaze catch up.

[giggles]

And I know just the way to stop him.

Blaze can't bring pizza to the monkeys

if he can't get to the monkeys.

[laughs]

[tires squeal]

- Hubcaps, the ladder's broken.

- Uh-oh, but how are we gonna get to the treehouse

and bring the monkeys their pizza?

- I know how. We can use a simple machine.

- Yeah, simple machines make it easier to do work.

Check it out.

Here are all the different types of simple machines.

To get to the monkeys, we can use this one.

A pulley.

Pulleys make lifting things easier.

We just have to put heavy things

on the other side of the pulley

so that it goes down and Blaze goes up.

[engine roars] - Hey, look!

Here's a pulley.

- And we can use these coconuts to make the other side heavier.

- Come on, let's add enough coconuts

to make the other side weigh twelve.

[energized rock music]

♪ ♪

All right.

Let's see if the other side weighs twelve.

Is that the number twelve?

Nope, that's only seven.

- We'd better add more coconuts.

♪ ♪

Is that the number twelve?

Uh-uh, it's only nine.

- We've gotta make the other side even heavier.

♪ ♪

Is that the number twelve?

Yes!

- Now that side of the pulley's going down...

- And we're going up.

- Yeah! - Whoo!

- It worked. - Whoo-hoo.

[doorbell rings] - Pizza delivery.

[monkey chatter]

- Here you go.

One large banana pizza.

[laughter]

I think they like it.

- Check it out.

We delivered pizza to the monkeys in the jungle.

So next, we've gotta race to the snow

and bring pizza to the penguins.

- So long, monkeys.

[engine roars] Whoo-hoo!

♪ ♪

kids: ♪ Simple machines ♪

♪ Making work easier ♪

♪ Yeah, they make, make, make work easier ♪

♪ Simple machines ♪

♪ If you want to chop some wood ♪

♪ An axe is a wedge that'll chop it good ♪

♪ That's what you need, simple machines ♪

♪ To make a hard job easier ♪

♪ Wheels and axels, levers and pulleys ♪

♪ Wedge, screw, inclined plane ♪

♪ Simple machines ♪

♪ Making work easier ♪

♪ Yeah, they make, make make work easier ♪

♪ Simple machines ♪

♪ Got a heavy load to lift ♪

♪ An inclined plane's gonna do the trick ♪

♪ Simple machines, simple machines ♪

♪ Simple machines ♪

[engine roars]

- Who's hungry for pizza?

[penguins cheer]

Pizzas for you, and pizza for you.

[penguins cheer]

I'm so good at delivering pizza.

[penguins cheer]

- Unbelievable, folks.

As you can see, Crusher is still in first place,

having just delivered pizzas to all these penguins.

[engine roars]

Tell us, Crusher.

What makes you such a talented pizza deliverer?

Is it your sense of direction?

Sense of humor?

Sense that you're about to crash into a snowman?

- Crash into a snowman?

[playful tones]

- [laughs] Well, you--

[engine roars] Wait a second.

It looks like Crusher's not the only one

bringing pizza to these penguins!

'Cause here comes Blaze.

[musical car horn honking]

- Yeah!

- But if Blaze catches up, then he could win the race.

[groans] I need some way to stop him

so he can't deliver any more pizzas.

I need...

a super snow maker.

[mischievous tones]

[laughs]

Nice "snowing" you, Blaze.

[laughs] See you!

[steady tones]

- Whoa, it's snowing really hard all of a sudden.

[wind howls]

- Lug nuts.

Look.

That super snow maker's

covering all the igloos with snow.

[wind howls]

- Oh, man.

If we're gonna bring pizza to those penguins,

we've gotta find some way to get through all this snow.

- Hey, I've got an idea.

What if we built something to help us

dig a tunnel through the snow?

We'll make an auger.

- Yeah.

Augers use a type of simple machine called a screw.

When the screw turns,

it moves stuff out of the way to make a tunnel.

- Come on, let's get building and turn me into an auger.

[guitar riff]

First, we need a motor.

It's what makes the screw blade spin.

To make the motor, say motor.

Motor!

♪ ♪

Next, we need a spring.

It keeps the auger steady as we dig.

To make the spring, say spring.

Spring!

Last, we need the screw blade to dig the tunnel.

To make the screw blade, say screw blade.

Screw blade!

[chuckles] Yeah!

I'm an auger Monster Machine!

[stylish rock music]

♪ ♪

- It's working, Blaze.

You're digging a tunnel through the snow.

[penguin chatter]

- Listen.

That sounds like penguins.

- Yeah, we just have to figure out which way

to dig to get to them.

- Help us look.

To get to the first igloo,

we could go up or down.

Which way should we go?

Up or down?

Down! Yeah.

♪ ♪

- Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- Yeah!

- We made it!

[penguins cheer]

- Here you go, penguins.

One pizza with extra ice cubes.

[laughter]

- Come on, let's go look for the other igloos.

- So long, penguins.

[penguin chatter]

[machinery roars]

[penguin chatter]

- I hear more penguins.

- To get to their igloo,

we could dig a tunnel to the left or to the right.

Which way should we go?

Left or right?

Right.

[machinery roars]

[penguins cheer]

- We found them.

- Special delivery.

One large ice cream pizza.

[penguin chatter]

- Enjoy. - Bye, penguins.

We just have to deliver one last penguin pizza.

[penguin chatter]

- To get to the last igloo,

we could go up, down, left, or right.

Which way should we go?

Up! Yeah!

♪ ♪

[penguins cheer]

- Here you go, penguins--

a fresh, delicious, ice pop pizza.

[laughter]

- I think ice pop pizza's their favorite.

- Check it out. Now we've brought pizzas

to the monkeys and the penguins.

To win the Great Pizza Race,

we just have to deliver one last pizza.

Who do we bring the last pizza to?

The elephant, right.

And he's at the finish line.

- See you later, penguins.

We've got a race to win.

[penguin chatter]

Whoo-hoo-hoo!

♪ ♪

- Here we are, folks--

the home stretch.

At the end of this road, a finish line,

where an elephant waits for his pizza,

and the world waits to see who will be our champion!

[elephant trumpets]

- [giggles]

- [gasps] And just like that,

here comes Crusher.

- That's right.

And once I deliver this last pizza,

I'll be the winner.

Me, me, me! [laughs]

- Gee, Crusher.

It seems like there's nothing that can stop you now.

Not the track, not the weather,

not even that hole in the ground.

- Hole in the ground?

[screams]

[musical car horn honking] Oh, no.

I-It can't be.

Not Blaze!

[playful tones]

[guitar riffs]

- Hey, Crusher, need some help?

- [grumbles] No way.

[playful tones]

Okay, maybe just a little.

But-- [engine roars]

- All right, Crusher.

You ready to finish this race?

- Yeah, whoever gets their pizza

to the finish line first, wins!

- [chuckles] Well, I think we all know

who that's gonna be. [laughs]

Me! [tires squeal]

- A.J., give me some speed.

[engines roar] - Whoo-hoo!

- Ha-ha, yeah!

[energized rock music]

♪ ♪

[engine roars]

[tires squeal]

- [panting] Blaze is so fast.

[whimper] I need something to stop him.

Something like,

like this!

[laughs]

[mischievous tones]

- Blaze, look out.

[engine roars]

- Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

- Oh, no.

There goes our pizza.

- Gaskets, it landed on top of that mountain.

- [laughs]

See you at the finish line.

[giggles] [engine roars]

- Come on, we've gotta hurry and get that pizza back.

[energized rock music]

[volcano rumbles]

Huh, I wonder what that rumbling sound is.

- Uh-oh, I think this mountain's erupting.

- Yeah, erupting--

giant balls of cheese?

Whoa!

- Oh, man.

How are we gonna get our pizza back

without getting flattened by a giant cheese ball?

- I know what we need.

Something that can break those giant cheese balls apart.

We need a wedge.

- Yeah.

A wedge is a simple machine

that makes it easier to split things apart.

- Come on, A.J.

It's wedge time!

[engine roars]

Help us smash apart the cheese balls heading our way.

When you see a giant ball of cheese,

say cheese ball.

both: Cheese ball.

[engine roars]

- It worked.

- Yeah!

- Keep looking.

If you see another giant cheese ball,

say cheese ball.

both: Cheese ball.

[engine revs]

- All right.

[engine roars]

Keep going, Blaze.

- When you see another one, say cheese ball.

both: Cheese ball.

♪ ♪

- Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- We're almost at the top.

- If you see any more cheese balls,

say cheese ball.

both: Cheese ball.

♪ ♪

- We got the pizza.

[triumphant tones]

- And look, there's the finish line.

[triumphant music]

- Uh-oh, but Crusher's almost there.

- ♪ Doo doo de da ♪

♪ Ya-da-dada-da ♪

♪ Ra-ta-ta-ta, Crusher's gonna win a new race ♪

- We've only got one chance

to deliver our last pizza before Crusher.

It's time to use Blazing Speed.

- Yeah!

[guitar riffs]

- To give me Blazing Speed,

say Let's Blaze!

both: Let's Blaze!

[energized rock music]

♪ ♪

- [chuckles] I knew it.

Nobody's gonna deliver their pizza before me.

Not even--

[musical car horn honking]

Blaze?

[playful tones] - Whoops.

- The winner of the Great Pizza Race is...

Blaze! [cheers and applause]

- Here you go, elephant.

One large pizza with extra peanuts.

[elephant trumpets]

[celebratory music]

[elephant trumpets]

[laughter]

- Whoa, that was one hungry elephant.

- [laughs]

Congratulations Blaze and A.J. on your amazing win.

Now, are you ready to see your prize?

both: Our prize?

- [laughs] I'll take that as a yes.

Here it is.

The one, the only

Gold Pizza Trophy!

both: Whoa.

- And the best part is

this trophy doesn't just look like pizza.

It also makes pizza!

- [laughs] It's delicious.

[cheers and applause]

[engine roars]

- Hey, everybody.

Who feels like having a pizza party?

[joyful pop music]

singers: ♪ Pizza, pizza, pizza ♪

♪ Oh, oh, oh ♪

♪ A whole pie, or by the slice ♪

♪ Pizza, pizza, pizza ♪
