for one of our favorite nights of the year.

- It's Monster Machine Halloween.

- Check out my Halloween costume.

I'm Blaze the dragon. Roar!

- I'm astronaut A.J.

- [laughs] It's Zeg, dinosaur mummy.

- [roars]

I'm Stripes the tiger shark. Chomp, chomp, chomp.

- I am robot Starla. Yee-haw, yee-haw.

[laughs]

- Ha! You call those costumes?

Wait till you check me out.

I'm Crusher the chicken. [clucks]

Whoa.

- What about you?

What costume are you gonna wear for Halloween?

[laughs] Cool!

[horn honks] - Oh, excuse us.

- Pardon. - Coming through.

- I wonder where everyone's going in such a hurry.

- Didn't you hear?

There's about to be a really big race.

- Yeah, a Halloween race.

- A Halloween race? - Whoo-wee!

- Come on, let's go check it out.

- Wait for me.

[laughter] - Whoo-wee!

- Ladies and gentle-trucks,

welcome to the race where winning is dandy

'cause it's all about candy.

It's the great Halloween race.

- Oh, sweet.

- Yeah, sweet like Halloween candy.

[laughter]

- When the light turns green,

racers will speed down a track made of Halloween treats.

A racetrack that leads through a marshmallow forest,

a cookie cave,

and a bubblegum swamp.

All the way to the finish line

and a chance to win

a giant goody bag full of candy.

It's a goody bag trophy.

- Hoppin' hubcaps,

that goody bag trophy sure looks tasty.

- Mmm, Zeg like candy.

- [roars] Me too.

- Hey, I have an idea.

Why don't we join the great Halloween race?

- [laughs] - Yeah!

- Let's do it. - [laughs]

I've got to win this race then that candy will be all for me.

Me, me, me. [groans]

- Halloween racers, start your engines.

[engines roar]

- When that pumpkin traffic light turns green

that means it's time to go.

- Look carefully.

When you see the light turn green, say "go."

[beeping]

Go! - Whoo-hoo!

- ♪ Candy racetrack, goody bag at the end ♪

♪ Doing tricks off treats with all our friends ♪

All these giant marshmallows are making me hungry for candy.

- Mm, oh, hey, Crusher. Happy Halloween.

- Pickle, where did you get all that candy?

- Not just any candy, it's pickle candy.

Here, you want to try a delicious hot fudge pickle?

- Hot fudge pickle?

[groans] Disgusting.

- Hmm. All righty then.

Maybe you'd like this pickle candy corn.

- Pickle candy corn?

Ew, no.

Well, don't you have anything more like regular candy?

- [chuckles] Gee, sorry, Crusher.

All I have left is this.

- A peanut butter cup? [laughs]

- [humming] Zeg, Zeg, Zeg, Zeg.

- [gasps] Oh, Zeg's right behind me.

I can't let him win the race and get all the candy.

[laughs]

Looks like it's time for a little trick or cheating.

[laughs]

- Zeg, Zeg, Zeg, Zeg, Zeg. Zeg, Zeg, Zeg, Zeg, Zeg, Zeg.

- Uh-oh, those giant marshmallows

are headed right for Zeg.

- Look out, Zeg.

- Zeg, Zeg, Zeg. Whoa!

Phew! Blaze save Zeg from marshmallow.

- Oh, man, but how are we gonna get past

the rest of these marshmallows?

- Hey, I've got an idea.

Why don't we smash those giant marshmallows?

- Smash? Ooh, Zeg like to smash.

- To smash the marshmallows

we just need a big enough impact.

An impact is when two or more things crash into each other.

And the faster we go,

the more energy our impact will have.

- Come on, Zeg, it's impact time.

[engines rev] - Yippee.

Uh-oh, here come marshmallow.

- Help us speed up so we can smash it with a big impact.

Let's go a speed of five. Count to five with us.

- Whoo-hoo! - Yay.

- Nice impact, everybody.

- Ooh, here comes bigger marshmallow.

- To smash it, we'd better go even faster than five.

Now there's only one giant marshmallow left.

[groans] No thanks.

- Oh, well, then how about this?

Whipped cream pickle.

- Whipped cream pickle? [groans]

No, I would never eat that.

- Gee, Crusher, all I have left is this.

- A lollipop. [laughs]

Now that's a candy I like. Here, give me.

- Silly, Crusher. Why have a lollipop,

when you can have a lolli-pickle?

- A lolli-pickle? [groans]

- Yee-haw! Wahoo! - Yeah!

- Starla and Stripes? [groans]

I can't let them win the great Halloween race.

- [snoring] - [laughs]

Luckily I just found the perfect way to stop them.

[blows horn loudly]

They'll never get past these hungry cookie bats.

[laughs]

[bats squeaking]

- Huh, I wonder what those strange noises could be.

- Eh, I reckon it's probably just hungry cookie bats.

both: Hungry cookie bats?

- Uh-oh, cookie bats.

- Hang on, friends. We're coming.

Whoo, thanks for the save, fellers.

[bats squeaking]

- [roars]

How are we gonna get these cookie bats to stop chasing us?

- Hey, I've got an idea.

Why don't we just feed them their favorite cookies?

All the bubblegum in this swamp is making me want candy.

- Did somebody say candy? - [screams]

I'm not interested in any more of your pickle candy.

- Are you sure? Not even this frosted pickle?

- Yuck! - What about pickle gummies?

- Pickle gummies? [groans]

- Ah, well, too bad.

Looks like all I have left is this.

- Licorice? [laughs]

That's one of my favorite Halloween treats.

- Well, if you like licorice

then you're gonna love pickle licorice.

- Pickle licorice? [groans] Yuck!

- Yee-haw! - [laughs]

- Oh, no. It can't be.

- Whoo-hoo, yeah! - [laughs]

- Oh, how are Blaze and his friends right behind me?

I can't let them win the great Halloween race.

I want the candy.

- [gasps] - Whoa.

- Gaskets!

Our friends are floating away in bubblegum bubbles.

- Blaze! - Help!

- Oh, man, we've got to save them, but how?

- Hmm, what we need

is some way to fly up there and pop those bubbles.

- Whoa, look! It's a flying broom.

You think we can ride it, Blaze?

- Only one way to find out. [engine revs]

Oh, yeah.

- Whoo-hoo!

We're flying!

Yeah!

- [roars] Help!

- That sounds like Stripes.

- He's got to be in one of these bubbles,

but I can't tell which one.

- Help us look for him.

Remember, Stripes is wearing a shark costume.

- [roars] Help!

- Hang on, Stripes,

we're gonna get you out of there with a really big impact!

Whoo-hoo! - All right.

- Welcome aboard, Stripes.

- Fellers!

- [gasps] That sounds like Starla.

- Help us look for her.

Starla's wearing a robot costume.

- Prepare for impact.

- Nice flying, partners. - Zeg!

- Don't worry, Zeg, we'll save you!

- Whoo-hoo! - Yee-haw!

- We did it.

We saved all our friends from the bubblegum bubbles.

- [gasps] And look,

there's the finish line of the great Halloween race.

- [laughs]

- Hoppin' hubcaps, but Crusher's almost there.

- I can't wait to win that goody bag trophy

and have all the candy just for me.

- Uh-oh, what we do?

- We can't let Crusher win.

- Hang on, everyone.

We're gonna fly this broom super fast.

- Yeah, with blazing speed.

- Look-y there. - Wow.

- To give our broom blazing speed,

say, "Let's Blaze!"

- [laughs]
